Whitley Hall: The Skylar Home
 

Whitley Hall is in the country side just outside of Muggle London. Beyond the borders of London and into the lush green lands sits the Hall miraged by all of its magical enchantments. It has all of the splendor of a traditional Muggle Manor and yet its Magical inhabitants make the house their own.

The house is lived in by the Skylar family: Jake, Sophia, and Selina their daughter. However, due to the death of a school friend's father the Skylar's have all taken in the two James children: Elyon and Christopher. The property is large enough for a family of seven times their size. Whitley Hall is, with its garden and Pitch and grounds, a very large piece of property. However, most times of the year the house is empty when Selina, Elyon, and Christopher are off at school and Sophia and Jake are busy with their work schedule.

The layout of the house is simple.

The downstairs floor is compiled of the foyer, living room, the adult study, library, art studio, kitchen,bathroom, and the dinning room.

The upstairs floor is compiled of the adultsbedroom, Sophia's closet , Jake's closet, adult bathroom, Selnia's bedroom, Selina's closet , Selina's bathroom, guest bedroom, purple guest bedroom, black guest bedroom, pink guest bedroom, and the guest bathroom.

The grounds are compiled of the lake, the Pitch, the broomshed, the garden, and the indoor pool.

Of course the broomshed has been renovated to fit the two new additions to the Skylar clan. This once small shed has adapted an expansion charm to fit a kitchen, a bedroom for two, and a living room.

The door is always open to friends of the family and of course the only way into Whitley Hall is to have been told by the secret keeper. Therefore the only visitors are friends and family.

Selina was running around the house in a panic. Violet was coming today and her friend would be staying at Whitley for a month and then the two plus Elektra would be spending the back half of the summer at Violet's house. So Selina had to make sure everything was in order for the little Veela who was always so perfectly in order.

"Mum!?!" Selina yelled. "Hurry up! Come on, Violet is coming soon. She should be arriving any minute!" Selina called out to her mother who was in the garden working with the plants.

Fixing her shorts she waited by the front door for her mother to show up.

Sophie walked into the foyer from the back door. She was wiping her hands to clean herself from all of the soil she was just working with on her hands. Looking down at her dress Sophie checked for soil. She seemed to look just fine. Sophie did enjoy the Le Veela's and because they always were dressed implacably Sophie wanted to at least look presentable.

"Oi! Calm down Selina, they aren't even here yet. I'm sure you'll be just fine." Sophie said meeting her daughter at the front door.

"Fine? I've been waiting to see Violet for weeks, mum!" Selina said.

"You two got off the train... four days ago. You're fine, darling." Then the front door sounded a knock and Selina jumped. "Oh Merlin," muttered Sophie.

Selina heard the knock and threw the front door of her home open. There stood a very pregnant Mrs. Le Veela and a very smiley Violet. Trying to compose herself from screaming at the sight of her best friend Selina walked slowly over to her friend like she had to use the restroom. Once she reached Violet she giggled and threw her arms around her best friend. Swaying in the one spot Selina continued to jump up and down.

"Oh Merlin! Violet! I missed you so much! I feel like I haven't spoken to you in so long!" Then Selina pulled out her clutch and from the depths of the purse she found the several letters that had the girls correspondance in them. Fanning out the letter she said, "Letters is just not enough!"

She then resumed their hug and smiled to herself.

Sophie leaned against the frame of her front door watching her only daughter smile brightly at the sight of her best friend. It warmed her heart to see the two girls so close. Sophie could remember when she and her friends used to see each other at their age. They were always smiles and hugs. Something about being young made friendship more special. Selina and Violet were lucky to have one another.

Leaning away from the doorway Sophie waved to Emmeline but stopped mid-wave. Was all of that luggage for her home? Oh no no no. That was impossible. Not one human being could have all of that clothing. It was ridiculous to even think... and yet it was Violet. From all of the letters Selina had sent home Sophie would not put it past the little blonde she had just met.

"Um, Violet... is that all for you darling?"

Selina pulled away from the hug to look at what her mother was referring too. All of the luggage was up surd, "Oh Merlin... that's a... you have... why would you... so much. Um, well, you see. Huh? Why do you have so... that is just... is my house that... why would you...? Vi?"

Violet's heart skipped a beat when the front doors opened and when she saw her best friend emerge Violet smiled immediately. She copied the same exact thing Selina did acting as if she had to really go to the bathroom as well. Violet wrapped her arms around Selina and squealed in excitement joining in the jumping! "I know, it's been like forever Sely!" When Selina pulled out all of the letters that she sent to her Violet gasped and covered her mouth. Then she reached into her clutch and pulled out the letters that she received from Selina, which she chose to hold them together by a light purple ribbon. "I know right! It's been absolute torture!"

Emmeline watched Violet and Selina and she could do was smile. The both of them together were just too sweet! Never did she imagine that Violet could become so close with someone in only one year. Emmeline was then distracted when she saw Sophie waving at her, Emmeline raised her hand and returned the gesture with a sweet smile. She then noticed Sophie's sudden of shock, which made Emmeline very confused for a moment until she met where Sophie's eyes had traveled....Violet's luggage. Emmeline then raised her hand pointing her finger saying,"I know Soph, I know it's a lot...I told Vi to only pack the essentials, I must have told her about a dozen times, but this is what she came up with.."

After Violet hugged Selina her eyes caught Sophie's reaction to her luggage, 14 bags. She then heard Selina's reaction and in response she smiled sweetly and replied in a bright tone,"Umm.. heh heh..Yeah it is..Umm...I tend to...How do I pu it...Over-pack?" Violet giggled nervously and then fluttered her eyelashes making herself look as cute as possible. She smiled and then shrugged her shoulders. "And about half of my luggage has an....expansion charm in it.." Once again she ended her sentence with a sweet smile.

Sophie was so shocked that when Emmeline returned her comment Sophie could not even formulate sentences. All of this luggage was for Violet? Every last suitcase was for the small blonde girl next to her daughter? It wasn't possible. One human being could not have that many clothes.

Then Sophie chose to listen to the back half of what Emmeline was saying. Upon tuning in she heard that Violet packed lightly. If that was lightly she would hate to see what heavy was. In fact Sophie wasn't sure where Violet put all of her clothes. By just looking at her under-packing Sophie had to figure that the Le Veela home had to be quite large. And Sophie's house was large, but their house had to be something else entirely.

"Wait? This is her light packing? She knows that she is only staying for a month right? Violet isn't moving in with us... wait! She isn't moving in with us... is she Ms. Selina Arden Skylar?"

Selina was too busy trying to breath properly when her mother cautioned her about her friends objective at Whitley to even respond. Only after deep breaths for two minutes could Selina whisper, "No... no, not that I know about. This is just a lot of..." But then Violet finally peeped up. Selina was ready for a rational explanation. All she received was that this packing had more to it!

"An expansion charm? A bloody expansion charm? Violet! You aren't going to be here long enough to wear all of those clothes. In fact... I don't think you could wear all of those clothes in a life time. That's a lot of fabric."

Sophie yelled at her daughter and moved to smack her upside the head, "Selina! What did I tell you about that word? Ladies don't say bloody! Especially in front of guests! Just because you're an athlete now doesn't mean you get to talk like a boy!"

"Don't bring Quidditch into this!"

Ignoring Selina, Sophie turned back to Emmeline and said, "I am so sorry for her behavior. We, um, would be delighted to accommodate Violet in whatever means necessary. We want her to feel comfortable here. After all my daughter is sure to have her all muddy for Quidditch everyday and that is punishment enough." Sophie laughed, "Seriously though darling. You have a lot of clothes."

Alexander walked with his niece as he looked down at her seeing that she looked a little nervous for some reason. "Oi, you ok?"

Elektra walked beside her uncle Alex. Since her parents were away taking care of some 'family buisness' she was staying with her uncle for the time being. As she stayed close to her uncle she looked up at him and nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's just...I don't know. I don't want Sleina's parents to hate me."

Alex chuckled. "Ah, the only person they are going to hate is me. I'm the wild one and you know it."

"Oh, for the love of- please do not embarass me Uncle Alex." Elektra said sighing a little.

"I was only joking Ellie. Don't worry. I'm gonna be on my best behavior."

"Thank you." she said and continued walking with her uncle. Elektra looked in amazement at the place before her. It was definately bigger than her place, but then again this was Selina Skylar we were talking about here. Of course she would live at this huge place. As Elektra approached the door she stopped her fist a few inches away thinking maybe she shouldn't knock. She looked at her uncle and then hit her fist against the door three times and stepped back.

"That wasn't so hard now was it?"

Sophie was about to continue her conversation with Emmeline when she heard a knock on the side door. Who would be knocking at the side door? Usually people came out front, then again with the wall of luggage that Violet had at the front of her house she could see why people would avoid it.

Turning to Selina who was still freaking out about the amount of luggage that Violet had brought with her Sophie said, "Darling? I'll be back in a minute. Try not to freak out or explode while I'm gone. Someone's at the side door."

Selina barely registered what her mother said. The luggage wall was still a major shock to her. Yet she was coming to realize that Violet would have that much luggage. From what she knew about her best friend Violet changed her outfit at least three times a day.

"Right, mum. Um, yeah... I think I'll be fine... right I should be fine... uh huh."

"Oi vey," Sophie muttered.

Then she left to go to the side door where she opened the door to a young man with very large muscles and a strikingly beautiful young girl. Her hair was raven black and her green eyes were the most perfect shade of green she had ever seen. This must have been Elektra. Selina had spoken about her friend none stop since returning from Hogwarts four days ago. To be honest Selina had spoken none stop about her little trio and all of their adventures.

Leaning against the frame of the side door she said, "Well, you must be Elektra. Aren't you sweety?"

Turning to the older gentleman she said, "You must be her father. Nice to meet you Mr. Draven. Don't worry we'll keep a close watch on her for the month she'll be here with Violet."

Alex crossed his hands in front of him standing as if he were a soldier, but then he looked down at his hands and then put them to his side and looked at Elektra who was giving him the eyebrow. Oh, he knew that eyebrow too well. Got that from her father Connor. He raised his eyebrow back to her. It was a Draven thing. "Oi, don't give me that look. You look my brother when you do that."

Elektra kept her eyebrow raised and she chuckles. "Oh, I'm sorry. Does my eyebrow intimidate you Uncle Alex?"

"'Intimidate?' I didn't know you knew how to use big words Elektra." Alex replied in a joking matter.

As Elektra and her uncle were joking around the door opened and Elektra looked over seeing none other than Selina's mom at the door. Elektra froze- no scratch that- she newarly turned to stone from being so nervous. As Selina's mother spoke to Elektra her mouth opened slightly, but no words came out. "Uh...I-yes Mrs. Skylar."

Alex looked over at the door and he nearly froze too. He knewtoo well who this woman was. Selina's mom was an old friend of his brother Connor and he never met her...until now. When Sophie thought he was Elektra's father he paused for a second and he chuckled and shook his head. "Actually I'm her uncle. Alex. It's a pleasure to meet you." He said extending his hand out to shake her hand. "Elektra's parents are away for the most of this summer so I'm taking care of her until they get back, but I have faith that she'll be fine in your care." Alex looked over at his niece and smiled at her.

Elektra nodded to her uncle and she looks back at Selina's mother.

Alex hit his head lightly and looked at Elektra. "I forgot your bags. Let me get them."

"oK." Elektra said softly and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear and looked at Selina's mother again. "Is Selina inside?"

Alex and Elektra can be in two different places at once. Just keep the posts seperate
 

Sophie chuckled when the little girl froze in front of her. She was really not that intimidating was she? Perhaps that was what her boss was referring to when she said that Sophie came on a bit to strong. But that was her work environment. In her own home she was much more relaxed and she hoped not as intimidating.

"I don't bite dear, contrary to what my daughter I'm sure has told you." Taking a good look at the girl who would be staying for a month at her house she smiled to herself. She seemed a good kid, but there was something in her face. It was like she had seen her before or at least some of her features. Where? She could not place it, but she knew that she had seen her before or someone like her.

Then when the man corrected her Sophie blushed, "Oh Merlin... I'm sorry. I just assumed because you two look so similar. Right, Uncle.. got it. I apologize, I'm Sophie Skylar. Selina's Mom, unless you didn't get that." Sophie rambled.

When he commented on the bags Sophie asked, "Do you need any help, Alex? Do you mind if I call you Alex?"

Turning back to Violet she said, "Yes darling. She's out front with Violet. I'm sure that Violet is going to want to say goodbye to her mother though so tell Selina I told her to bring you up to your room. Selina was so set on the fact that her two best friends needed to be comfortable this summer. She went a little overboard with both of your rooms, but I'm sure you won't mind."

Elektra shakes her head. "Oh, no, no, Selina says nothing but nice things about you and your husband." Elektra said getting a little nervous but then she chuckled and rubbed the back of her neck. "Sorry if I'm being a little...shy. It's my first time staying some place other than mine or my uncle's house." Elektra nodded. "I'm sure the rooms can't be that bad." She looked at her uncle. "I'll be out front with my friends."

Alex smiled at Sophie and he nodded. "Alex is fine. May I call you Sophie?" he asked and then looked at his niece. "Ok, just behave." Alex looked at Sophie. "By all means. I could use some company walking." Alex said with a slight joking matter.

Elektra walked to the front and saw her two best friends, Selina and Violet and she smiled and ran towards them. "Oi you two don't be having any fun without me!!" She said slowing herself down as she looked at her friends. "I'm so excited!"

Sophie laughed, "Of course dear, that's understandable. Don't worry about it. But if Mr. Skylar and I can do anything at all to make your stay more comfortable do not hesitate to ask me. I mean anything at all. That includes your diet, because Emmeline sent me a letter saying Violet is a vegan and we took care of that."

Looking at the little girl who seemed so anxious to run off with to her friends she said, "Go on already." And then the black hair went flying to the wind as she ran to the front yard.

Turning back to Alex Sophie said, "Sophie's fine."

The two began to walk in silence to grab the bags and then Sophie stopped mid walk. "Alex? I know we just met, but may I be frank? I feel like I know you somehow. Any reason why that is? I mean, Elektra looks so familiar."

Selina heard a voice come from her front door where she saw her other best friend in the doorway, "Elektra! Come hug me, fool!!"

As Alex walked with Sophie, he saw his niece run off to find her friends and he smiled softly. othing made him happier to see his little niece happy. He reached the bags. There were three bags and of course...the bags were black. Yeah, don't ask why the Draven's liked black...especially Elektra, but then again Alex used to be like that when he was her age. His brother was the same way as well. As he was about to say something he paused and looked looked over at Sophie. "Be as Frank as you need to be." Alex grabbed one bag and paused and looked over at Sophie and he knew what Sophie was talking about. Elektra did look a lot like her father and all Alex could do is sigh and he replied back to her. "I thought the last name would get your memory going again." He picked the bag up and tossed it over his shoulder and he fixed his shoulder to have the bag laying comfortably on his shoulder. "Connor's her father, Sophie. I know you and him had quite a past together in Hogwarts, but...it's not my place to talk about it."

Elektra smiled and she hugged her red-headed friend as tight as ever and with momentum picked Selina up and spuin around and Elektra got dizzy and put Selina down and she laughed. "Oi, you weigh a ton Sel." she said joking around. She looked over at Violet and she smiled and hugged Violet. "Violet you are looking as gorgeous as ever darling."

Sophie froze in her spot. Connor? It all made sense now. Why Elektra looked so familiar, why when Selina said who was spending half the summer at her home the name rang familiar, why Alex made her feel so comfortable. Elektra's father was Connor Draven. That made things very complicated. Jake was not going to like that one bit. She knew her husband would be fine with Elektra because she was not her father, but if Connor came to the house for Elektra... it could cause some problems.

Connor Draven! It was unbelievable. The past between them she had left behind her the day she graduated Hogwarts. She thought she would never have to deal with him again and here was his daughter at her front door.

"Oh Merlin... that complicates things." She muttered. Finally realizing who she was talking to she tried to correct herself, "Don't misplace my shock. I'm glad to have Elektra at my house, honest. Just Connor... wow. I haven't spoken to him since graduation. After that day when he and Jake, well this is a small world isn't it?"

Selina laughed as her friend threw her around. When she commented about her weight Selina said, "Hey I'm the lightest out of all three of us so I would check yourself Miss Elektra Draven. And don't even say for one minute that I'm the tinniest because of Quidditch... that's why you should play. Not that you're heavy. Actually... have you eaten at all since you left Hogwarts? You look malnourished."

Alex wasn't surprised by Sophie's reaction. Connor had told Alex all about Sophie after Alex and Connor both graduated. Connor at Hogwarts and Alex was a Durmstrang. Alex was nothing like his brother. Not even the way he tr- well that's for another time. Yes, it was shocking how much those two looked alike. The way Alex put it was that it was Connor dressed in drag, but of course his niece much prettier than a messed up drag queen. He chuckled. "It's alright. I had a feeling you would react that way. I know...you didn't think he would ever have a kid right? Especially one like Elektra. If I could I would take her in as my own, but Connor would kill me if I even joked about something like that." Then he thought for a second and he just realized Sophie's last name. "Jake Skylar's your husband?" How the plot thickens...

Elektra shuddered at the mention of Hogwarts. She fake hissed as soon as she heard Hogwarts and backed away making a cross with her fingers and then she chuckled. "I'm kidding, but you know I will never get on a broom again after this term. I'm scarred for life thanks to that git of a teacher known as Vindictus." she scoffs. "I wish I gave him a piece of my mind." Elektra was trying to dance over the subject that Selina brought up of her looking malnourished. She didn't say anything. To be honest...Elektra was barely eating. No, she was not becomming annorexic...she just...was dealing with a lot and it caused her not to eat. "Of course I'm eating!" Elektra replied. "I wouldn't be standing her lifting you up and such if I wasn't nourished silly red head." she said hoping neither of them would pick up the truth.

Sophie listened to Alex talk. He really was nothing like his older brother. The two men were if anything polar opposites. Or at least they were now. When Sophie had first met Connor he was very different and very sweet. But something had changed him and the way he treated everyone around him. To this day she had no idea what the switch was, but she hated the man he had become. He was hateful and horrible. Poor Elektra. "You're right, I never did think him the type to settle down and have a kid. Or that he would find someone who would reproduce with him." Sophie laughed, "No, I'm sure his wife is lovely. He always did have good taste. And beside Elektra is beautiful and from the way Selina goes on about her she must be very sweet. I look forward to getting to know her over the next month. Besides we have the next six years of constant summer sleepovers to get used to."

Suddenly Alex seemed to check out. Out of the blue he asked if Jake was her husband. "Yes, Jake Skylar. The Quidditch player. Why? Is something wrong with him? Please, I know we don't know each other well, but he's my husband. What did he do wrong?"

"Right," Selina said not truly believing what Elektra was saying. But she had the next month at Whitley and the following month at Violet's to change her eating habits. "Elektra, whatever is wrong... you're at my house now. You don't have to worry about it. I mean, you can eat whatever you want and do whatever you want. Nothing or no one is going to bother you."

he nodded. "Yeah, but...you wouldn't believe me if I told you that he married a muggle, but this stays between us. I trust you can keep a secret." Alex couldn't help but think about how the next six years were going to be like. "Six years is a long time, but yet it goes by so fast." Alex huffed and rubs the back of his neck. "I better be the one picking Elektra up then. Last thing we need is to have problems between our families." Alex really wish that he could say more, but he just couldn't. Connor was his brother. As much as he wanted to speak about him...he still had to respect his brother. "I don't mean to be rude, but maybe we should save this conversation for another time."

She felt safe. She felt welcomed. She felt like she had nothing to worry about, but still...she had her secrets. "Good...I'm starving!!" Elektra blurted out and quickly covered her mouth. "Sorry."

"A Muggle? Really? He was always so high strung about his pure blood. Ah well, when you fall in love right?" Selina joked. She was trying hard to make light of the situation, but when Connor became involved there was very little to joke about. The two had been... well it just complicated things. Now with their daughters as friends the complication would only increase. They could not avoid one another forever.

Especially when Jake found out. She never kept secrets from her husband, it was a very honest relationship. He was bound to have a fit, but she could keep him a bay to a point. As long as Connor did not come around looking for revenge on Jake. That was unlikely.

"No! Don't feel like you have to keep things separate. I am going to have to deal with him eventually. Besides I'm an adult. I can handle this and I'll keep Jake on good behavior. Our daughters deserve their best friend's parents to at least be polite to one another. Thank you for your concern though Alex. And I understand. Maybe the time for this conversation is not exactly appropriate."

Sophie was then very quiet and continued, "Well, what about you? Are you married. I know when I was in school you were seeing that one girl. Connie... I mean, Connor told me."

Selina laughed at her friend's excitement, "I'll feed you as soon as Violet says goodbye to her mother and you to your uncle." Turning back to the mass of luggage Selina said, "Besides I'm still trying to figure how to get all of Violet's luggage insides without breaking my back."

"Yeah, her whole family are muggles, I think." he started to think. "Ah, I may be wrong, but I do belive that her brother, Chris studied magic, but I could be wrong about Athena's family. We really don't see them that much." It was no wonder why Connor and Jake liked her so much. She was one in a million Sophie. Alex smiled softly and then he sighed. "Well if Connor ever gives you trouble you let me know. I can calm him down." Alex said reassuring her.

Elektra nodded and looked overseeing Violet's...bags. She began to mentally count at how many there were and Elektra shook her head and looked in shock. "Vi...please don't tell you even have expansion charms on them as well."

Sophie laughed at how bold Alex was. He was quite the catch and comedian. No wonder Elektra was such a joker as Selina had gone on about when she had returned home from Hogwarts. That trait was not inherited by her father for sure.

"I'm sure I can handle Connor and my husband, which I know is on your mind. Besides, I'm sure Connor is over whatever happened in Hogwarts. He probably never even thinks of it. I don't. Not since you reminded me."

Selina stood next to Elektra and said to Violet, "See Violet! I told you that you packed way too much. I mean you're not moving in... are you?"

Selina was in the kitchen with Violet and Elektra making cookies for Kurumi's visit later in the week when she heard a knock at the door. Giggling to her friends she jumped off the stool at her tabletop and said, "I'll be back. Have to get the door. You two just keep doing what you're doing."

They nodded to her and continued their task gossiping along with one another. She knew that they would not need her for quite some time. Besides when those two were together they could get lost in conversation for hours with little notice of anyone else. So Selina had time.

She then walked through the dinning room and into the foyer. Peaking through the front door of her house she saw a boy. Because of the stain glass she could not tell who it was. Pulling open the front door she said, "Excuse me, can I help- Adam."

Adam swayed in spot, due to his nervousness. He gave an odd crooked smile.

"U-U-U-Ummm....H-H-H-H-Hello..."He said stammering a lot. He covered his head as if it were second nature to him. After how these two had left at the great hall, he had no reason to feel safe being at her house, seeing as he had caused all the drama.

"C-C-C-C-Can I visit your house?"He asked permission for.

Selina stood as still as a statue in the frame of her front door. She could not believe he was here... at Whitley... on her doorstep, especially after the way the two had left their relationship in the Great Hall. He continued to shock her when he said hello. Slowly and cautiously she responded, "Hello...?"

Then to make matters more awkward he proceeded to ask if he could come in her house, "Um, sure. Wait... what are you doing here Adam?"

He looked around as he thought of what to correctly tell her.
One wrong word and he'd be kicked off her doorstep, and honestly he didn't want that.

"W-W-W-What do you mean? That I'm not at Mexico...Or that I'm here, at YOUR house?"He asked just as catiously and confused.

Selina was taken aback by his question, "Um, a little bit of both. I mean, how did you get back to London and... why are you at Whitley? We didn't exactly leave things very well off, Adam. You of all people should know that." Selina answered crossing her arms over her chest.

Adam had been very mean to her at the feast, which had lead to Selina growing defensive, which lead to their current state of... well... lack of friendship.

"I found a wizarding community, took the Floo network from there to the closest one here and just walked up here."He explained.

"Listen...I know we didn't leave on the best of notes...But maybe, I didn't want to leave it like that...I was just so mad, and you were too, so I didn't want to make things worse on the train ride...We needed time apart...you know you gotta breath..."

Selina crossed her arms over her chest as Adam began to speak. He went on about time apart and the two of them needed to breath. But the scowl on Selina's face did not leave. Adam Burn had been a right awful git during the last conversation. He was not going to charm his way out of this and she was not going to apologize.

During the course of their relationship he had never been one to admit he was wrong or apologize... ever. If something needed mending Selina folded and fixed it. That would not be her today.

So waiting for his explanation Selina said, "I'm listening."

Adam took a step back when she crossed her arms and made a mean looking face. Taking a second to recompose himself he started.

"I know we left things on the worst possible note. And you know, we both didn't want that..Even though it may seem like I wanted that at the moment, I was just way in over my head...I know if I say 'I never meant to hurt anyone' would not work on you..."He looked up to see if Selina finally realized that Adam understood her ways of allowing him to fix things up...

He couldn't give her a sob story, that just wouldn't be enough, and bring Adam on a lower level to Selina, in her eyes.

"I never wanted to go off that way...It's just...Everything was happening in a whirlwind, and I think...My words were coming out before my brain even thought what I was trying to say..."He explained, gesturing a lot to draw a picture.

"Do you know what that says to me Adam, honestly? The fact that you didn't even think, that you just said those things, makes me think that it was what you always wanted to say. Your lack of filter that day just gave you the chance to spew out what was always on your mind. I can't begrudge you your true feelings, but it doesn't mean that you can come here and say that you didn't mean to go off that way. Somewhere deep down you did.

"So why now, at my house after you've decided to spend the rest of your days in Mexico, do you want to make amends? Why is it so important to you? Because you could've just been like every other person in the world when two people fight and just leave it at what the fight was... why did you come here?"

"I needed time to think..."Adam retorted strongly.

Then he muttered to himself..."Even now I don't know what to say"

"I don't want to lose the friendship, the siblingly that I had with you because of some stupid fight that honestly was blown way out of proportion and well...It was stupid of me to fight with you when you in the end, were truly right...I did hurt her, and even though I thought it was for the better, it wasn't..."

Selina rolled her eyes at Adam. It was a classic Adam excuse, he needed time to think. People never needed a person to console them on the other person's clock. Help was needed in the moment. Afterwards it was just empty, well-calculated words.

Then he did something surprising. He admitted to his stupidity... that was shocking. Did he finally see what he had put everyone through with all of his selfish and punishing behavior? Maybe Selina was being a bit judgmental, but it was a break through.

In one swift motion she jumped to him and wrapped him in a tight hug. She pulled her head away from the hug to give him a kiss on the cheek, "Took you long enough you big dummy."

Suddenly she remembered she was mad at him and pulled away, "This does not mean you are forgiven."

Adam's cheeks turned bright red as Selina wrapped him in a tight hug, then kissed him on the cheek. Without even knowing so, he touched the spot where he lips had meet his skin, an odd bubbling feeling erupted.

He always figured...

"Umm thanks..And umm, if this is what happens when I'm NOT FORGIVEN I want to be NOT FORGIVEN a lot..."He laughed.

"I realized my mistake- how can I not be forgiven..."He said slightly annoyed but keeping his cool.

Selina tried to tame her bright red hair that was slightly scattered about because of the wind that had swept her hair when she was in flight for the brief moment she jumped on Adam. While she fixed her hair she saw him touch his cheek on reflex and grow red. Perhaps it was his hair that made the red seem so dark.

When he made the joke she had to try hard not to laugh, to fall back into their usual routine of being friendly and joking, "You're not forgiven because..." Selina sighed and continued, "Because I wasn't right either. I shouldn't have said those things. They were always on my mind, but to verbalize them was... wrong of me. Really wrong of me. And I would say I'm sorry, but I promised myself I would not apologize first." Stubborn as always.

Adam put his hands up.

"WHOA! YOU were WRONG!...Why aren't you ...Wait? Do you not want to apologeize first because you always said sorry for me first...I never said "i'm sorry" first..."Adam realized her stubborn ways had gotten in the way of their friendship, love, siblingly?

Well they were both wrong..

"We're both wrong in our own ways..."

"Yes, I was wrong. I think we established that Adam. Like two minutes ago, I believed we established that." Then he read her mind, he always did. She was stubborn yes and that was why she would not apologize first. But just because she was stubborn didn't mean she was a liar.

"That's exactly why I won't say it first. I always say it first and it would be nice to not have to be the one to initiate the make up for once in our relationship, Adam." Selina said crossing her arms over her small frame once more.

When he said they were both wrong she felt the weight of her arms crumble down to her sides, "Yeah, we were. I'm... I'm something that you are going to say first."

"I'm sorry...But just to not get in any fights,I won't say anything stupid in front of you...Grant it, given my mind, I probably will say something stupid...But you know when I am being mean stupid...

"You confuse me, Adam Burn. But I'm sorry too." Selina said. With that she went forward and hugged him tightly. She stayed in that spot for a few moments just glad to have him back on speaking terms. Besides could they really stay mad at each other... well, yes, but they were being bigger people and making up.

Pulling away from the hug she said, "And I know you have to go back to Mexico, but how long do you have?"

"I confuse you? You confuse me to the point of speechlessness."He told her laughing at his own comment.

"Oh, 2-3 days, I have a friend there distracting my parents- but it won't be long before she messes it all up and my parents send a swat team looking for me."

Selina smacked his shoulder, "Good. I should keep you on your toes."

"Wait... is that friend CeCe? I saw her in a vision back in school."

"Oh, you hit me quite hard...What are your hands made of steele?"He asked her, rubbing his shoulder where the sting still pounded his skin.

"Umm...yes."Adam was a bit surprised how Selina knew about CeCe already but that she saw it in a vision made him slightly uneasy. If she saw that in a vision- wold Selina be able to se through Adam's feelings?

"I play Quidditch. I'm an athlete, I strong in general. Hands included. Maybe if you played you'd be able to take me on." Selina said with a grin pulling at her cheeks.

"Yeah... I've seen her quite a bit." Of course Selina couldn't tell him what came to be in the upcoming years. Kurumi was a complicated factor in the future and CeCe and Kurumi did not get on as well as she was sure Adam would hope. But none of this existed yet... it was the future.

"I'm strong!"Adam protested defensively, as he walked into the house, he was tired of standing out in the doorway for such a long time. "But I use it for good-not evil."He added .

"Y-Y-You know CeCe...Well...You can see the future, can you see my future...."It was a question that always came up for him, but it was intriguing, his life at Hogwarts had been a whirlwind, and perhaps knowing a part of his future he could figure himself out in a way.

Leading him into the living room Selina sat down on the couch. "Of course you're strong. Whatever helps you sleep at night."

While she awaited him to give her a reply Selina heard him inquire about CeCe. She knew this was coming. Her ability always left people with questions. Questions they knew she could answer without fail. Sighing Selina replied, "Yes Adam. I can and have seen parts of your future. And no I won't tell you. Who am I to reveal the universes secrets. What if I tell you about what you do and you live your life by your fate. You'll always be too worried about the future to appreciate the present. Trust me, I know. All you need to know is you're healthy and happy. No one else matters right now." Although the Hispanic girl would soon enough.

Violet was about to explain about the amount of shoes were packed in her luggage when she heard a loud yet familiar voice ring in from almost out of the blue. Violet's violet eyes met up with a pair of gorgeous emerald green eyes. She gasped and squealed saying,"Oh Merlin! Elektra Draven! Ahhhhh! It's been so long!" Violet flung her arms open and wrapped them tightly around Elektra hugging her tightly. She squealed again and jumped up and down a little bit as she did with Selina. Violet paused when Elektra noticed her....essentials...having almost the same exact reaction Selina and Sophie had had about her things. She smiled sweetly and then answered Selina and Elektra's questions,"Hehe, oh you two flatter me so! My stars how I've missed you two! And yes, Elektra there are expansion charms..but only on HALF of my bags..And no Sely, that would be completely inappropriate and utterly rude if I were to 'move in'. Especially unannounced and without a proper invitation, -gasp- how could you ever think that Selina Skylar, I am so hurt!"

Emmeline ended up sitting on one of Violet's bigger bags able to support oneself and she watched Violet go on about her bags, being only able to lightly giggle here and there. She rubbed her stomach as she watched them, every so often she would feel the baby kick or shift and it would surprise Emmeline a little bit, but after having two children already she had been used to it by now. She looked at the driver of the carriage and gave him a light friendly gesture for him to help her up, which he did immediately. Emmeline smiled at him saying lightly,"Thank you Antony.." She slowly made her way over to Violet and her friends and gently tapped her shoulder saying calmly,"Violet, my precious, I think it best I be off back to Paris, before your father begins to worry, you know how he is.." She giggled and brought her beautiful daughter for a tight hug and she kissed her forehead looking into her violet eyes whispering,"I'll see when you the month's over.." Emmeline hugged her again and then said softly,"I love you darling.."

Violet tightly hugged her mother and then smiled warmly when she kissed her head. She then looked back into her light purple eyes saying,"I love you more.." Violet then hugged her the same as she did before.

Emmeline smiled again and then said before they started an 'I Love You' battle, which Emmeline always one,"I love you most.." She looked at Selina and Elektra saying lightly,"Ladies, I hope you all have a wonder month together, I cannot wait for you both to spend your time at our estate!" Emmeline smiled at them sweetly and then with Violet's help made her way back to the carriage. Violet being the loving daughter she was helped Emmeline into the carriage and closed behind her. She looked at Selina and Elektra and waved at them and then loved down at Violet giving her another loving smie. She then gently placed her fingertips to her lips and blew her a light kiss before the carriage started to make it's way down the path. Once again the Abraxan's began to take off swiftly their wings moving rapidly it only took moments for the carriage to fly off into the sky. And the carriage soon disappeared into the sunlight as it made it's way back towards Paris.

Violet felt tears begin to fill in her eyes a little, her eyes getting glossy as she watched her mother take off without her. It was only a month, she could do, but she knew that they would be together sooner then they knew it. She took in a deep and breathed out slowly calming herself before turned back to Selina and Elektra making her way back to them smiling at them softly. "So, I don't know about you two, but I think this might be the best month I'll ever have in my life.."

Selina sat back and watched the lovely mother daughter moment that unfolded before her. She tried to stop the tears. Most of them because it was so sweet and sincere, the others because she had missed out that type of her relationship with her mother. When she had grown up in Whitley her mother and father were always there, until... welll.... until then. After that they both became work obsessed and that was when Selina picked up the flute and painting. A past time for all of the time she spent alone. It was not her fault, she knew that now. But a little seven year old alone in a house did not understand. Even now Selina only understood to an extent.

Once the carriage was off and flying Selina could almost hear Violet's body language telling her mother to let her go now. She was ready to be without her. Hogwarts was different- it was school. This was time away from her mother on her own choice.

When Violet finally spoke up Selina said, "Yeah, it'll be great. Come on, I'll show where you will be staying, the lot of you."

Violet smiled at Selina and then said eagerly,"Yay! I am so excited!" She jumped up and down in her blue heels that had sparkles on the heel itself. Violet then waited patiently, with a bit of impatience, for she couldn't wait to see what her room was going to look like. Hmm..maybe it would have the colors of Gryffindor or something, who knows, you never know with Sely. But either way she was excited nonetheless.

"Come one you two. Let's get a move on, Lek? You coming?" With that Selina began to make her way into the foyer and waited for her friends to catch up with her.

Violet clapped and jumped up and down eagerly. She couldn't wait to see what her guest room was going to look like. Violet quickly followed Selina into the foyer and then gasped looked around saying,"Ooooooh, how wonderful...Kind of reminds me of Le Merveilleux..it's exquisite!" Violet was already falling in love Whitley Hall and knew this was going to be quite interesting.

Selina blushed at all of the excitement over her home. She had always had pride in her home, but when she spent most of her days, when her parents were off doing work related things, at Aunt Jennette's it was easy to forget how nice her house was. It was one of the few times Selina was glad her parents had such high paying and time consuming jobs.

"Thanks." Turning to Elektra who seemed to be doing a restroom tribal call she said, "Lektra? The loo is down the hall to the left. You'll be fine if you make it now. But please try not to go on the carpet." With that Elektra was off.

She turned then to Violet and gestured for her to move up the stairs to the second landing. "Come on Violet, I'll show you your room. Don't worry my Dad will get those bags for you."

Jake had just gotten back from his run around the grounds. Training was just starting for the season and he had to build up his adrenalin again to be out on the Pitch for more than his usual four hours a day during the off season. Once he ran by the front of his house he saw a wall of luggage sitting out front. Was Sophie leaving him? Wait, that couldn't be. I mean, she had never even mentioned or gave any signs. He ran to the luggage and started to look closely. Letting out a sigh he saw all of the glitter and pink. That was not Sophie's luggage. It must have been Selina's friends who were staying for the first half of the summer.

Walking in his front door Jake called out, "Sely? What's with all of the lugagge on my front lawn? Someone needs to move that."

Selina called from the top of the stairs, "Yeah Dad. Thanks for carrying all of Violet's stuff up to her room. I owe you one."

"Wait, I didn't... ugh, the perks of being the Dad."

Violet turned her head to see Elektra had disappeared, she just sighed a little immediately knowing where she went...the loo. Violet swore that girl had the same exact bladder of..of..a kitten. She just gave it a light wave, they would definitely see her in a bit. Violet then heard her father's voice and listened Selina's conversation with her father. After their discussion Violet called to her father lightly,"Thank you Mr. Skylar!" She looked back at Selina and then asked eagerly,"Which way to my room?"

"Yeah thanks a heap, Da!" Selina reiterated after Violet had called down stairs.

Jake was halfway through his front door holding several pieces of luggage that piled over his head when he heard Selina again. He groaned as he tried to reply. However, all of the luggage that was piled over his head muffled the sound. All he could do was look back behind him where the wall of luggage was still very much intact. Man, this girl had a lot of clothes.

Selina did not hear a reply back from her father but shrugged it off. Then she looked at Violet who had just posed a question and turned to the door down the hall. She knew that Violet would pick up on it soon. So all Selina did was point to the door with a smile on her face, "There is your room, made specially for you and this summer. Mom said I could, go take a look inside."

Violet did feel kind of bad for making Mr. Skylar have to carry her all of her bags, and the solution was; she HAD to find a way to repay Mr. Skylar for his kindness! When Selina pointed her to the door that held her room Violet gasped and then quickly walked over to the gorgeous pink door. She softly ran her hand over the pink wood examining it's gorgeous design. She looked up seeing two little pink flowers perched at the top of her door. Violet looked at Selina and said lightly,"Lovely touch!" She then softly put her hand over the door knob and slowly turned it opening the door very slowly. Violet's eyes widened and her mouth dropped as she looked around the room. It...was....PERFECT! She walked into the room and took it all in, the bed was gorgeous, the walls were the absolute perfect shade of a rose pink, and the lighting from the sunlight made it even more beautiful. Violet tried her best but then couldn't contain herself anymore, she suddenly ran and jumped onto her bed and squealed loudly. Then she said excitedly,"OH MY SWEET MERLIN IT'S WONDERFUL!!" Violet hopped off of the bed and ran to Selina who was standing in the doorway and tackled her giving the biggest hug saying,"Oh thank you Sely, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! And....thank you!"

Selina watched from the door frame, perched like an owl, her friend's fit about the room. Everything that Violet examined was like it was the greatest thing in the world. It made Selina feel good. Like all of the hard work she had put into making her friend feel at home had payed off. She was glad that she was in a position to make her friends feel so welcome. Of course, it wasn't her money, it was her parents, but if they were willing to let her use it to be a good host she would not complain.

Then Violet ran all around the room in excitement giggling and jumping about. Her laughter was contagious and Selina broke into hysterics with her. From across the room Violet ran over and tackled Selina. "Oh hey, oi vey. You're crushing me. So I'm guessing you'll feel comfortable here for the next month?"

Jake crashed through the door, hands full of bags and they cascaded to the floor. Looking up at the two girls who were hugging he said, "Engorgio!" All of the bags he had shrunk to make his travel only one trip became their natural size. The side of the room that was once empty near the vanity was now loaded up with luggage. "You may want to unload that, dear." He advised.

Selina looked up at her Dad and said, "Thanks Dad... bye!"

He could take the hint. No Dads. Got it.

Alex approached his niece with Sophie carrying her bags and he put them in front of him and looked at Elektra. "If you need anything at all-"

"I know Uncle Alex." Elektra said. "Don't worry you'll be the first to know.

Alex smiled and chuckled then gave his niece a huge hug and lifted her off the ground and placed her back down. Oh, Elektra knew what Alex was going to say next. He could tell by the way Elektra looked at him and he did it anyway. He put on his faake macho man accent and raised his eyebrow and says, "I lift things up and put them down."

Elektra squeaked when her uncle picked her up. She hugged him back tightly not really wanting to let him go. She loved her uncle so much, but then again...she was about to spend a whole month at Selina's place and away from everything else so she couldn't complain. Once Alex put her down and he gave his stupid little line that he loves to say she groaned and rolled her eyes. "Uncle Alex." she chuckled. She couldn't help but hug him again and she kissed his cheek. "I love you."

Alex felt his niecequickly hug him agai and he kisses her forehead. "I love you too sweetheart. Just behave and have fun alright?"

Elektra nodded. "You know I will." And with that she watched Alex say his goodbyes to Sophie and Alex left. Elektra then followed her two friends and...uh-oh...yeah....uh-oh. Elektra had to go to the bathroom. She tried to make it seem like she didn't have to at first, but she had a bladder of a kitten. "Um...Selina...where's the bathroom?" she said lightly dancing in her place and she chuckled. "I know I have a bladder of a kitten!" she blurted out and as soon as Selina told her where the bathroom room was...she was off. Now the funniestthing ever would be Elektra getting lost inside after going to bathroom...right?

After Elektra walked out of the bathroom she was wiping her still slightly damp hands on her pants and she looked around not seeing her friends anywhere. She stood in place and looked around. "Se-Selina? Violet? Anybody?" Elektra began walking away from the bathroom and started to explore around, well more like nearly scared the living daylights out of her as she walked around the huge castle known as Whitley Hall.

Sophie watched as Alex and Elektra said their goodbyes. It was sweet how an Uncle could be so close to his niece. Then again Selina was very close with Jennette and Jeremy- Jake's siblings. However, the eldest Skylar, Jace, seemed to distance himself from his family. The Durmstrang teacher was a good man, but a man on a mission to fulfill his life in whatever way he saw fit. Alex, however, reminded Sophie of Jeremy and Jennette. Sweet, funny, and yet still serious when the situation presented it.

"We'll take good care of her, Alex. If at any point you need to see her just floo us and I'll open up the apparation for you like I did today. Enjoy your summer!"

Once he was off, Sophie ushered the girls inside and went to the kitchen as the three girls ran off in their own separate directions. Walking over to the fridge she pulled out the essentials for lunch. She knew after all of the exploring the girls were bound to do that they would all be very hungry.

Jake finally walked down the stairs after dropping off all Violet's luggage in the girl's temporary room. Merlin, that girl had a lot of clothes. He assumed that wasn't even the load of it looking at the little girl. As he panted down the stairs he saw a very confused looking girl in his foyer. Her face seemed to ring a bell with him. What was it? Maybe it was the eyes or maybe it was the hard features, but he could not place the face. It would come to him later.

When she called out for her friends, Jake pointed up stairs and said, "Pink door to the left."

After giving out directions he went into the kitchen to see his wife at work for lunch. While she worked she chewed on her bottom lip for concentration and kept brushing a single strand of her brunette hair out of her face. He leaned on the frame of the door to watch his wife some more. Everything she did was with great care and precision. She was everything he had ever wanted and sometimes the best moments were when she was just doing something as simple as making lunch. Her air about her would just send sparks through the room.

She finally looked up and blushed under his gaze. He always did that, watched her with a soft smile on his lips. It was a habit he had adapted at Hogwarts and he refused to let it go when they began to date and then married.

"Why are you starring at me? You know it makes me self-concious."


"You think it's a crime I stare at my beautiful wife? Well then I don't mind being a criminal. Put me in chains warden." He joked moving toward his wife and wrapping his arms around her middle from behind.

"Stop it," She whined, "We have three little girls in the house."

"I know, I just carried ALL of Violet's luggage in the house. Speaking of those girls, the one who must be Elektra by process of elimination. I feel like I know her. Any thoughts as to why?" He asked kissing the top of his wife's head.

Sophie froze. She knew this question was coming, but this was fast. He had put the pieces together that took Sophie a while and an assistant by the name of Alex. What would she tell him? The truth of course. But how would he handle that truth? Not well she supposed. Connor Draven was always a sore spot with her husband. The scar he had on his lower back was proof of that. She thought that the scar was small being only a few centimeters big, but Jake saw it as a sign of weakness. Of course that day when that scar was made Jake returned back a larger one on Connor's calf, but still men hated signs of weakness.

Turning away from her husband she went back to her task. As nonchalant as she could muster she said, "Oh yeah, she's Connors kid."

"Connor Draven?" Jake spat. The name didn't even need to be answered because he knew it the moment she mentioned Connor's first name. That little slippery git produced spawn? Who would even want to reproduce with him? Not Sophie... he had won that battle a long time ago. But now with his daughter under Jake's roof he was bound to come poking around back in his life. That was NOT acceptable. He was going to have to stay out of his life like he had for over ten years now. The last time the pair of them had heard from Connor was when he came back looking for Sophie. Luckily that day she was not home and she still never knew about it, but Jake did. That day was one that would forever stay etched in his memory. Never forget...

"No, Sophie! The kid can stay, but he is not coming!"

"Be mature about this!"

"No! The kid has given me no cause to hate her so I;m fine with her. But her father? I HATE him. He cannot ever come here. Do you understand?"

"You will NOT talk to me like I am Selina. I am not your daughter. I am your wife. So check yourself Jake Skylar! And he is a grown man as are you. You will not let things that happened when you were teenagers define who you are as men!"

"We will talk about this later." Jake said. He did not want to upset Sophie anymore. But he was going to let it be known. This was his castle and his queen and princess were his. No knight was going to come in and mess that dynamic up!

As Elektra kept looking around she turned and saw Selina's father and she stood still. Her jaw dropped slightly and then quickly swallowed spit. "Uh...uh...thank you sir." She said softly and then ran off to the pink door that she saw. She was not surprised to see a pink door for Violet. "Umm Selina I didn't- I didn't know your father was home too. He told to find the pink door and- Oh, bloody hell." She stopped by the door and then slowly walked inside the room with hesitation. AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!! ALL OF THIS PINK!!!!!!! Don't faint Elektra! Don't faint!!! Elektra was speechless as she looked around the room. Wow Selina really went all out for Violet. It did match Violet's bubbly charm and her bubbly everything basically. Elektra chuckled and rubbed her arm.

Selina looked over at Elektra who was just joining them in Violet's new room. Suddenly Elektra seemed to shake with fear in the very pink room. It was then that Selina went over and rubbed her friends forearm. "You alright?" Then Elektra screamed and Selina jumped back, "BLOODY HELL!"

After things calmed down Selina said, "Wait, you mentioned my Dad. Is everything alright with him?"

After Elektra had calmed down she exhaled out softly and she nodded. "Yeah, your father seemed alright. He stared at me though. Like in a creepy old man type way. I don't know, but-" Elektra looked around the room and she nearly cringed at the pink in the room. "Gaaah all of this pink!"

Selina was confused as to Elektra's explanation of her father. In all of her life her Dad had never been creepy or at least creepy to strangers. He was generally a nice guy, but why Elektra didn't find her nice was beyond her. Then she remembered the look on Elektra's face when she first came in the room, "Ewwwww! Do you think my Dad's cute or something?"

Trying to avoid her answer Selina said, "Come on. I'll show you your quarters."

Elektra's eyes widened and she raised her eyebrow. "What the bloody hell are you talking about? Ewww no!" She said grimacing at what Selina just said and then she looked at Violet and shook her head. "Can you believe that nonsense she just said? Oi yi yi yi yi." As Selina changed the subjext Elektra shook her head and walked out of the room. "You make me laugh Selina."

Violet had eventually calmed herself down from the excitement of how PERFECT her room was. Then she listened to Selina and Elektra's comments, which led up to Selina asked if Elektra thought her father was cute. Violet heard Elektra deny it...of course, but then Violet decided to cut in when Elektra asked her the nonsense Selina had just asked,"Actually Elektra, I can tell that you're not telling us the truth, because I know that face you make when you see something you like..Because you did the SAME EXACT thing when you saw MY father at Platform 9 3/4!" Violet then pointed her finger and placed it on Elektra's nose saying,"So don't try to deny it Miss Draven....We both know you very well..." She then whispered a bit aggressively,"Especially me...." Her eyes narrowed as she stared into Elektra's eyes.

Selina looked between the two girls. Things had just become very tense. Violet was the most beautiful person she knew. Her eyes just echoed the very windows to her soul. But in Violet's famous stare downs her beauty always became contorted and almost bird like. Her eyes were staring at Elektra through slits and she seemed to be on a mission for the truth. The little Veela was not known to back down.

Trying to defuse some tension Selina said, "Violet... maybe you should calm down. You know before you get to... that point."

Elektra raised her eyebrow and slowly started backing away from both of them. "Ok, I'm just...going to curl up into a ball and hide in a corner because Violet wants to kill me so..." Elektra runs to a corner and curls up into a ball. "Leave me be!"

Selina began to see the upcoming battle arising. Between the two ladies they both were vicious warriors. Both, when in battle, kept their colors high- pink billowing in the wind and black dancing through the air. Yet, in her home Selina wanted to keep the confrontations between the two best friends at a minimum. It was summer holiday. They were there to have fun and her father would not start an argument that would start the summer in bad taste.

"Right, well, Elektra. Let's go see your room, shall we ladies?"

Dragging a modest trunk behind her, Kurumi made her way to the doors of Selina's home and stopped at the door. Why was it that all of her friends seemed to be so wealthy? Looking down at herself in her lose jeans and white long sleeved shirt. Perhaps she should have dressed more formally? Not to mention that she probably looked like something Walnut had dragged in. She really needed to figure out a way for her to be able to sneak out of the house and go places by means of wizarding transportation. Ryunosuke said he would think of something, and then there was the news that her father would be working in Diagon Alley...so there was hope that this would be her final long flight on an airplane for a long time.

Selina was dragging herself back from the Pitch after a long day of practice on the Pitch. With her Dad off at summer training for the season and her mother at the Ministry for the day Selina figured to get in a good solid work out. Of course now her red hair that was fashioned up in her usual high pony tail for Quidditch was adorned with sweat and dirt. Her clothes were dirty and obviously worked in. But somehow she loved it. Nothing was better than a nice quiet day on the Pitch. Selina swore it was the best investment her father had ever made.

Taking a sip of her water canister Selina walked back to her house. While she reached the outside of her house she saw Kurumi standing still outside her front door. It was quite an odd sight. The girl had just stopped still outside the house. No knock, no call, no nothing. Raising her eyebrows Selina walked up behind Kurumi and touched her shoulder, "Hey Kurumi. What are you doing just standing outside?"

Kurumi's cheeks flushed as she turned on her heels and looked at Selina. "I was just...um...I just...." she looked back at the door. "Waiting to see if you would See me?"

She knew it was a lame excuse, but it was the best she could come up with.

Selina smiled at her friend and said, "It's good to see you Kurumi!" With that Selina hugged her friend that she had not seen the entire summer. It seemed like she saw everyone else but Kurumi. Even her mother had seen Kurumi's father who apparently had a fascination with photography.

Realizing she was drenched in sweat Selina pulled out of the hug, "Sorry. Sweaty."

Elektra stood up quickly and nodded. "We shall. Let's go see mey room." She said and looked at Violet and Selina and then walked out of Violet's room. Elektra ran her fingers through her hair and looked around the place still in awe at how huge this place looked. She only imagined what Violet's place looked like. She probably owned her own island.

Selina looked at the black door that sat right beside Violet's pink room. She hoped, with beaded breath, that Elektra liked her room. To be honest, decorating her room for the stay was the hardest. Elektra had an element of mystery about her that Selina could never unravel. Something was always alluding about Elektra like there were so many secrets around her that she just closed up under questioning.

Taking a deep breath she opened the door and said, "Your room..."

Elektra looked right at the black door and slowly a smile began to form on her lips. She nodded and then exhaled out slowly. "Ah, now that is a color that I love Selina." Elektra was in love with the door. She could only imagine what her room would look like.. If Violet's was all decked out like that then that must mean Elektra's room may be decked out just like that.

Selina held her breath as her small fingers laced around the knob of the door. This room was particularly tricky with investing the correct amount of care into it. She could not make it overly pretty for fear of Elektra feeling claustrophobic. On the flip side it could not be a boy's room because Elektra would take offense to anyone seeing her as a boy. So this room was quite tricky for Selina and she had put a great amount of effort into it's decoration.

Pulling open the door she said, "Here you are Elektra. Home for the next month."

When Selina opened the door Elektra walked through the black door and her jaw dropped. Looking around the room she was in awe. Oh, bloody hell. Elektra was speechless. She couldn't say a word. The room...was...PERFECT!!! Elektra looked at the bed and ran right to it and flopped down. "Oh, my God Selina this is amazing! This is...this is perfect!!"

Selina bit down on her thumb nervously, "Really? You like it?" She hoped her friend did. She had done so much in preparation for her two friends staying. It was an event that she had been dreaming about, having the pair over her home, since the two had agreed to come. So much had happened between the three and the chance to get to spend more time with them was always a plus.

"So, um, you two wanna go play some Quidditch?"

Selina stared at Violet's fumble for the correct word choice until she finally settled on intense. It was anticlimactic to a fault although she would never tell her friend that, "Right...."

What else could she say? So she settled on her words carefully, "Come on you two. I'll take you to the broom shed and just grab a broom from there. Dad has a ton from all of his years on the Falcons. Broom makers always try to get him to fly their brooms for endorsement." She did not assume that they would have brought their own brooms so they were more than welcome to grab a shed broom.

Elektra put her hands behind her bed smiling feeling like she was right at home. "Oh, I could sleep here all day and party all night!" Elektra said jokingly and then sits up. "I could...be like a...a..." Elektra jumped up and faked growled. "vampire! RAWR!" Elektra laughed at her own joke and she sat back down and sighs. "Oh, it's the little things that make me happy." When Selina mentioned Quidditch, Elektra made a little noise as in a noise to show how much she...DISLIKED Quidditch and Elektra laughs. "You two can go right ahead and play all the Quidditch you want. I'm staying here and sleeping because Merlin knows I need it."

When Elektra offered to stay behind when they went flying Selina shook her head no, "Oh no. You're going to come flying with us. Trust me, by the time I'm done with you lot you'll be flying around like pros. Okay well maybe not that good, bit a least you'll be able to fly. And come on, wouldn't you two like to be on the Quidditch team at one point? The team, the uniforms, the cheering crowds...."

Selina tried to advertize to her audience but she could tell Elektra was uninterested, "Come on. My house, my rules. So both you get dressed and meet me on the Pitch."

Elektra just raised her eyebrow at Selina sounding like those advertising people that would come to the doors and try to sell their products to you. She huffed and put her hands behind her head as she looked up at the ceiling and she then closed her eyes until she heard Selina talk about getting dressed and going to the Pitch. Elektra groaned then spoke sarcastically, "Yeah, like I carry Quidditch clothes around with me like you Skylar."

Selina replied with a snark, "Well lucky for you, you just got to my house and have all of your luggage with you right now. And I know for a fact that you packed Quidditch clothes because you sent me an owl that asked me what you would wear and I quote- on the world's ruddiest invention of a game. So Elektra, please get changed and met me down on the Pitch."

The little redhead shot her friend her broadest smile. Oh yes, it was broad.

Elektra raised her eyebrow and she huffed. "bloody hell..." Elektra sluggishly pulled herself up off the bed and walked over to her luggage and she sneered at Selina. "You know you're lucky that I can handle you as my friend."

Selina chucked one more grin at her friend before she scampered off to her bedroom to change. On her way out the door she tapped the side of the frame and said, "See you down on the Pitch in ten minutes. Remember to smile."

It was then that Selina finally exited the dark room and went down the hallway into her own, lighter bedroom. She opened up her closet and went to her Quidditch stuff. There she grabbed her usual get up for a practice and put it on. She then went to her mirror in her room and threw her red hair up in a high pony tail. Once she tied her sneakers she went down the stairs and passed her mother who was making lunch, "Hi Mom, bye Mom."

Sophie looked up from her task with Connor still on her mind and saw Selina all in her athletic gear. Sticking her knife in the cutting board Sophie said, "Selina Arden Skylar! Your friends just got here and you already have them clocking in hours on the Pitch? I thought I raised you better than that. Did you even ask them if they wanted to play?"

"'Course I did, Mum. Wouldn't dream of forcing anyone to play Quidditch. They both love it. When they come down this way send them to the Pitch, alright thanks."

Selina ducked out of that conversation fast and finally, after several minutes of walking, ended up on the Pitch in her gear ready to fly.

Elektra rummaged through her luggage trying to something to wear. She didn't exactly have the gear for this so she dound the next best thing. She changed her outfit and walked out of her room.She huffed to herself really not in the mood for getting on a broom but she knew this was going to happen eventually. "I can't believe I'm bloody doing this."

As Sophie continued to make lunch the first little girl made her way through the kitchen all of the while muttering to herself. Without even looking up Sophie pointed in the direction of the Pitch. While she chopped she said, "Go through the garden, past the lake, and you can't miss it. Selina should be there."

Before Selina could even finish trying to convince Elektra to change for Quidditch Violet was already back in her pink room going through her luggage. Within a few minutes Violet was changed pulled her blonde hair into a ponytail held up by her cute ducky and strawberry hair band. She then eagerly made her way passed Elektra's room calling into it as she ran passed it saying,"Come on Elektra! Time to have some fun!" Violet squealed excitedly as she ran down the stairs eventually made her way into the kitchen seeing Miss Skylar preparing their lunch. She waved excitedly to her saying,"Hello Mrs. Skylar, I'm sure Sely's already out at the Pitch, so I'll just be on my way! See you later Mrs. Skylar!" Violet then excitedly ran out of the house and began sprinting towards the Pitch while clapping and cheering repeatedly,"I'm going to play Quidditch! I'm going to fly! I'm going to have lots of fun! And I'm going to look absolutely adorable while doing it! Yay!"

Selina was in the broom shed pulling out two spare brooms for Elektra and Violet when she a loud cheer coming from the house. As she brought the two brooms out to the Pitch, which was slightly smaller than the Hogwarts Pitch, she saw Violet entering the Pitch grounds. Selina smiled at her friend and threw the two extra brooms on the ground beside her firebolt. The two brooms she had brought out were older Nimbus brooms that worked like a charm.

While Violet still ran toward the Pitch Selina dragged out the trunk that held the snitch, the quaffle, and the two bludgers. She then called out to Violet, "Violet, I'm over here! Down at the end of the Pitch!"

Violet became more and more excited as she neared closer and closer to the Pitch. She couldn't believe that she was actually going to learn to play Quidditch! She then saw sight of Selina pulling out the necessary stuff needed for playing Quidditch. Violet then waved at Selina eagerly after she heard her and then made her way towards the readhead. When had stepped onto the Pitch Violet was in awe and took a look around at the enormous space around her. Her violet eyes scanned everywhere around her and a few more moments went by until Violet finally came out of her amazement and continued making her way towards Selina smiling once again.

Selina opened up the trunk and started to check all of the necessary equipment for Quidditch was in working order. The Quaffle was in good shape and she tossed it around a little to make sure that the give and grip were still good. She then kicked the two Bludgers that were still under the chains to make sure that they reacted to stimulus still. They did as always, then again she could have guessed that from the rattling they did in the trunk. The last thing she checked was the snitch. She popped the small gold ball out of the holder and held it in her hand. Selina turned it over in her hands to check for anything wrong, but it was fine. Then she remembered her gloves in panic. The flesh memory of the snitch! But looking down she was wearing dragon hide gloves, thank Merlin.

Finally Violet arrived and Selina asked, "Okay while we're waiting for Elektra... how much do you know about Quidditch?"

Violet looked at all of the equipment and then she clapped her hand eagerly. She then looked at Selina when she asked what she knew about Quidditch and Violet then took a moment. "Umm....I do know that umm..That there are people who fly around and chase a very blunt ball, I know you were one of them, what were they called, OH Chasers! And then there are others who carry a medium-sized blunt object and hit a flying ball that growls at you...And then there's the other player who often sits on their broom above the top of the game doing nothing but taking in the sun's rays! In fact I rather like that last.." She smiled to herself and then looked at Selina eagerly saying,"Right?!"

Selina tried to be nice when Violet was explaining Quidditch to her but she could not contain her look of confusion. Everything Violet was saying would start in the general correct direction and then take a left turn. It was like she understood what the game looked like, but she had been too busy worrying about her clothes to understand how the game really worked. "Okay..." Selina said slowly, "No, that isn't how it works but close Violet."

Where should she begin? Violet expressed some interest in the snitch so she went in the trunk with her gloves on making sure not to activate the flesh memory and pulled out the snitch. She held it up in front of Violet's face, "Those people sitting on the brooms doing nothing are looking for this. It's called the snitch. Now imagine you're on the field and you have to find this tiny thing which moves very fast among two whole teams of flyers trying to score points. You have to be fast and have a good eye. If not... you lose. You see whatever team catches the snitch ends the game and also wins 150 points. This usual helps the team win the game."

She nods to Sophie and walks outside as she starts to hum softly to herself some rock music as she walked through the garden then going past the lake as she saw the Pitch and she froze in her tracks looking at it. It looked just like the one from Hogwarts. Elektra huffed and walked towards her two friends not looking happy at all that she was about to get on a broom and fly around chasing a little gold ball. "I can't believe I'm doing this."

"Nice of you to join us," Selina joked to Elektra, "Smile the world loves you!"

After her remark she went back to her lecture about Quidditch, "Okay so that covers the seeker. Next are the beaters. Now these are the guys you have to watch out for Violet. You're too dainty to be a Chaser or Beater so you would be the Seeker. That means you need to watch out for these Beaters. Their job is to make sure the bludger, the ball that is programmed to attack and hurt you, don't reach you or knock you out. So what they do is carry around these bats and smack around the bludgers away from the players. People who play this position usually have anger issues," Selina paused for a moment, "Here you go Elektra," she said handing her the bat, "you'd be a good Beater."

When Violet found out she was wrong she did frown a little bit but then it quickly changed. She gasped and jumped when Selina placed the snitch in front of her. Oh that little ball would make such a cute earring or a really cute necklace-no no focus.. After she had explained everything about the Seeker Violet said,"Oooooooh!" When she heard Elektra she gasped and hugged her tightly,"Yay! Elektra's here!" As Selina went on to explain everything Violet nodded her head every now and then. When Selina said that she would be the Seeker Violet cheered and clapped jumping up and down eagerly,"Oh Yay!" When Selina said Elektra would be a beater Violet covered her mouth with her hand trying to hide a little giggle she had.

Selina smirked at Violet who was trying not to giggle. "Right, well, the last position is the Chaser. That's what I am. Our job is to take this red ball here, the Quaffle, and get it through one of the three hops of the opposing team. If we do that then we get ten points. The point of the game is to get more points than the other team. I mean what we do is slightly more complicated, but that's the gist. So whose ready to get on a broom."

Elektra just gives a look to Selina and then to Violet then looked back at Selina seeing her handing a bat to Selina. Oh, bad move Selina. Elektra grabbed the bat and gripped onto it and she smirk. "Now why did I have this when I was around Vindictus or Gervik huh? I would have loved to bash thier-" she stopped herself and then cleared her throat. "Nevermind."

"Elektra...?" Selina inquired slightly worried. She knew that Elektra was a Slytherin by nature and as much as she did that part of her would always be there, but beating someone's head in with a Bludger bat was a bit much. Carefully Selina walked up to Elektra and put her hand on her friend's shoulder. "Are you okay? Maybe we should take the bat away from you and give-"

Elektra looked at the bat with a crazy look in her eyes. Oh, the things she was thinking of would make the pope himself go crazy. Her grip on the bat got tighter and she gave a cute, but somewhat evil smile as she glared at the bat. When she felt Selina's hand touch her shoulder Elektra looked right at Selina not saying a word, but just stared at her blankly.

Violet watched everything going on very awkwardly. The crazed look in Elektra's eye when she was looking at the bludger bat. Violet's violet eyes darted back and forth from Selina and Elektra repeatedly not sure who to watch. When nothing was being said from either one of them Violet paused before saying,"Soo...How cute is my outfit?! Huh?" She smiled brightly putting her hands on her hips looking at her best friends, trying to loosen the awkward tension.

Selina felt Elektra chipping away at the inside of her soul with her stare. She wanted to say something back, but found her lips were dry and she could not produce sound. It was times like this that Selina remembered who Elektra's family was. The evil stare only rose up every once in a blue moon, but it was enough to freeze hell over if she wanted when she gave her stare.

She was glad when Violet spoke up because she could almost feel her body be released from it's trance by the presence of another person. Clearing her throat she responded, "Oh yeah Vi, looks great on you."
