A generation after the defeat of the Dark Lord, the Wizarding World is starting to feel safe once again. Life goes on, children are born, and several rounds of these children have come and gone from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The professors have prepared for another calm year, but little do they know that someone within their ranks is posed to upset everything.

The year is 2037, and it has been 40 years since Voldemort fell at the hands of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This RP will take place from the professors’ point of view, and I’d like to fill up as many roles as we want to before we start. After we’re set on who is playing who, we’ll fill the rest of the roles with names so we can all refer to the same people. References to canon characters are acceptable, although HP and co. would be almost 60 in this RP and Snape and co. would be over 80. Please provide as complete a history as possible for your characters, although the fact that this RP is for advanced players only means there is leeway for you knowing more about your character than you want to share at this time. Character secrets are great and encouraged.

Please PM me or MSN me if you are interested in joining, but a warning: all the RPers are advanced, mature members of this site who are prepared to devote time and enthusiasm to this RP. If you don’t feel you can post an adult character with good character development, post frequently daily and usually in the EST evening, or write involved posts that are grammatically correct and well-written, then please don’t sign up. We’re serious RPers and we get cranky easily. Some of us even bite.

Aria raised her eyebrow. "Mark's always been a good friend of mine and I know he won't ever hurt me. I trust him and I think its sweet of you to want to protect me." She said bringing her arms around his neck and pulling him into a kiss. "Did he say something to you?" She asked as she turned back to look at Mark.

Warrick wrapped his arms around Aria. "I understand that he's a friend, Aria. It wasn't just what he said to me, Aria. It was something he did, so someone I've thought as my sister. I can't say more because I promised her I wouldn't." He wanted to tell her, but he had given his word, and if a man couldn't stand by his word, he wasn't a man at all. "Please, Aria, just promise me to becareful around him."

"I promise" she told him. "What do you say you walk me to my room and I can get changed out of these wet clothes since Mr. Booger decided he was going to dunk me." she said with a chuckle. "granted I might have deserved it....but still" she said with a fake innocence. She wrung her hair out again and wiped the water on Rick's cheeks. "Hehe there we go Rick." she said as she took his hand and spun herself around it.

He laughed, he couldn't help it, she was just so adorable. "Yes, let's go to your room," He leaned in closer and whispered, "I've got a surprise for you in your room." He wrapped an arm around her waist and started inside the castle with her.

He was nervous as they approached her room. He only hoped she would like what he had done. The house elves trailed behind them, still not sure what to do.

"Oooooh a surprise! Is it chocolate?" she asked walking with him down the hall to her quarters. As she opened her door she stepped in and looked around. "Whoa...this is soooo much better then chocolate! And thats saying something." she said with a laugh. "You did this?! It looks great!" she told him as she walked and touched the walls looking at everything closely. There were flowers all over the place and pictures of animals and quidditch posters. She ran and jumped on his back and threw her arms around his neck and kissed the top of his head. "This is awesome. Thank you so much." and brought his face up to hers and kissed him deeply.

Bebe gave a sigh and for the first time looked up. Gasp. Other Professors staring at her as if she had a couple of flaming heads. "It.. was... a spider.. deathly afraid of spiders." She nodded politely and hurried off. Rose or no rose - she was never coming out of her room again. Period.

Warrick smiled and kissed her back. He wrapped his arms around her tightly and asked, "Does that mean you don't like it?" teasingly. He pulled her in for a tight hug and inhaled the smell of her hair. Even though she had been gone, she still smelled the same.

Aria laughed. "Yep thats exactly what it means. I don't like it so I feel like I have to butter you up to soften the blow." she said playfully smirking. She looked around the room again. "How did you manage to find time for all this and the cleaning of the castle?" she asked him incredulously. "I noticed the cleanliness of it and it looks great. You have been a busy man." she said poking him on the nose. "I guess that didn't leave you enough time to miss me eh?" she said with a wink.

Warrick laughed. "Of course I missed you, silly. But I had a little help." He looked down at the elves who were waiting for something to do. "Hmm, I had forgotten they were there. You guys can go, I'm sure they'll be needing you in the kitchens."

After the house elves had left, he shut the door and spun her around. "Without you here to distract me, it didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would. Although I had enough distractions as it was." He shook his head, "but let's not talk about that." He sat down and pulled her down next to him, he kissed her. "How's your father doing?"

A look of understanding passed over Aria's face when she noticed the elves. "Ahhhhhh, I see. So you cheated." she teased. As he dragged her beside him on the bed she pulled her legs up and rested them across his lap and leaned back on her arms. "Well dad's being a dorkbrain. But I love him." she said smiling. "I think he's realizing that he's not 23 anymore and can't just fly whenever he wants to and that the injuries do get in the way. He's still in St. Mungos and I told him I'd visit him when I would get the chance to make sure he's sticking to the mediwitches orders. I think he'll be fine though. It'll give him a chance to hit on the witches there which I know he secretly enjoyes." she told him with a smile.

He smiled and took off her shoes. "What else are dad's for? So, did you come back just to give your dad the chance to flirt, or did you think you'd have to do a lot of work here?" He looked around the room, he was pretty proud of himself, and the work he and the house elves had done. The window was still open, allowing a slight breeze to blow in every now and then. He tickled her foot.

"Hide? Who is Bebe hiding from? I admit she's a bit skittish, but there are only professors here at this time. I have yet to figure out how she manages not to be afraid of the students, but I hear she's quite effective."

Enora placed her traveling cloak on its hook and set down her packages on her bed. With a sigh she collapsed on the soft chair next to the window. "Yes?" she said, as she herad the voice of her late husband Porter from his portrait behind her. "No, dearest, everything went well, it's just my sister Elaina, she's not well." Enora got back up and began to get undressed feeling a warm bath might wash away the stress of the travel. She waved her wand and the water began running in the adjacent bathroom. As soon as steam was seen coming from the doorway she grabbed her dressing gown and walked into the room. As the warmth of the water ran over her tired bones, she relaxed and was lost in thought of the upcoming term.

As Nikita was about to move on unto the next large window.. a few feet away, she heard her name. Turning around, she noticed Cole rushing towards her. Surprised and confused, she nodded towards him. "Yes?", she asked politely and in a cordial tone.. even though anger was rushing through her veins.

Nicky is walking down the hall trying to find his office when he is almost knocked over by one of his fellow teachers. Gaining his composure he finds he has a young woman with long black hair and beautiful blue eyes in his arms. She is shaking like she's just seen a ghost. "It's okay. No one will hurt you as long as I'm around. Professor Frost isn't it?" It is obvious something had frightened her very much. Nicky just couldn't figure out what it could be.

"Hehe thats for sure. I guess I came back for both reasons. I didn't think he'd feel comfortable flirting with the nurses while I was there and I had to do work on the grounds etc. Oooh that reminds me.." she summoned a house elf and asked them to bring her luggage that she had left outside to the room. When they had brought it back she smiled and thanked them. She closed her eyes as the wind blew threw the open window but was cut short by Rick tickling her foot. She squirmed and grabbed the hand that was tickling her. "Not fair!" she said laughing at him and tickling his sides.

Warrick smiled as she began to tickle him. He grabbed her hand and pulled her up to him. "I missed you." He leant in and kissed her. He held her in his arms for a while.

He stared in amazement. "How did you manage to survive with only....." He counted..."six luggage bags? Surely that wasn't enough." He teased, amazed she would even need that many.

"I missed you too." She told him and kissed him back. She snuggled in as he held her. "What only six....they must have left the other four outside.." she said with a smirk. "Oh you know...four of them are of clothes, one is of actual clothes and the other one is.....actually, I don't remember what the other one is." Shrugging she started playing with his hair, running it threw her fingers. "You know, you have awesome hair." she said staring at it.

Warrick laughed, he knew she was teasing him................at least he hoped she was.

He nuzzled the top of her hair. "Did you want to get to work on the grounds today? or do you want to put it off until tomorrow?" he asked her.

"Hey..." Cole paused to catch his breath, reading quickly that she wasn't exactly thrilled to see him. "I wanted to apologize for my behavior earlier. I just didn't think it was appropriate to talk freely in front of Wei. Can we have a word?"

"She's just a bit shy," Ana hazarded a guess. She wasn't too concerned about Bebe's erratic behavior. "Now, I guess I ought to get back to setting up my classroom..."

"Well, I've done about half of the grounds...then I got dunked in the lake. Figure I'll either leave the rest of it the way it is or finish it up tomorrow. I'm to comfortable." She got up anyways and started jumping on the bed. "You know the animals eyes follow you when you go up and down?" she said as she stared at her walls. She got down and started pacing the room. "Ok, I'm hungry. I haven't done my running today so I have way to much energy." she told him.

Warrick looked down at his clothes. "You got me all wet, Aria! How can you have energy, you went for a swim, afterall."

He looked around the room, spying her punching bag. "Why don't you get into your excersize outfit and show me your moves on the bag?"

Why wouldn't her classroom be set up already? "Ah yes, you spent the summer with your sister so of course you wouldn't have had time to prepare, yet," he finished his thought out loud. "Well... Have a good day, then, Professor."

Aria considered it for a minute. "Hmmm yeah I guess I can do that..or, I can lend you another pair of gloves and you can spar with me. Cole and I sometimes to that but I haven't seen him today so I guess I'll just deal with you." she said winking at him.
