I came up with this idea and I hope people join in. Basically what it is is mainly made ups, although people might want to double up as Harry, Ron, Hermione and co later.

The RP opens in their fourth year (so everyone who's in the same year is 14/15) at Durmstrang Academny. This RP runs as GoF through Durmstrang students eyes. Later on in the RP, those playing Durmstrang students will be going to Hogwarts for the Tournament and so it goes from there.

We can have a different outcome for GoF or the same, we could have the same Durmstrang champion, or we can have a different one. It's really up to you lot. If someone wants to play Krum, they can, but it isn't essential to the RP. Preferably made-ups please.

I will be playing as Voldemort's daughter, Marcella, who in my scheme of things, spends her time at Durmstrang from years 1 to 4 and then when Dumbledore is reminded of her in GoF, he decides to move her. But that is not relevant for this.

So all who want to join please express an interest and we'll go from there. Advanced RPers only, post minimum is one paragraphs preferably no shorter the 5/6 lines.

Gavin stood up and pet Sobek's head, avoiding looking at Anna's face. "Okay... Well... good night," he said, downtroddenly.

He continued to pet Sobek for a few moments after speaking. This situation was hopeless. Maybe he could just sleep the whole thing off and talk to Nik about it in the morning, assuming Nik would speak with him after hearing the story from Jesse. But, Nik was always good at being objective. He'd be upset with Gavin for what he did but, he wouldn't hold it against him. At least... that's what Gavin hoped.

Nik looked up with a grin. Apparently a fellow Bundimun had also decided to stay in during the trip to the village. "Apples are absolutely scrumptious this time of the year." He nodded at his book briefly. "This is an anthology of Russian poetry. A very good read for a relaxing week -" He caught sight of Jesse running over and from the look of her face, he could tell it was something important. "End." He finished his sentence.

"I don't remember if you read or speak Russian, but you can have a look if you like." He rested the book down on the table and used the silken strip to mark the place.

"I'm sorry to be so abrupt, Fay, but could you please excuse me for a moment?" He gave her an apologetic smile and stood up and walked over to Jesse.

"Hey, J," He greeted her warmly, the flicker in his eyes betraying the suspicion that something wasn't quite right. He wanted to ruffle her hair like he usually did, but her hair was all nice and put up. She looked quite regal in the new clothes and robes and he smiled softly. "You make this outfit worth a million."

"Yeah... good night," Anna handed Gavin's cat to him, and turned around to him. "Sleep on it and maybe you'll get some ideas..."

Gavin accepted Sobek and began walking to the stairs. "Sorry," he whispered when he reached the bottom of the steps before heading up.

He sat down on his bed, allowing Sobek out of his arms to curl up in his favorite spot on the bed. Gavin reached under his matress and took out two photographs. The first was of Nik, Jesse, and himself a couple summers ago. The second was of Anna and him. They had it taken during their first trip to the Village last year. He looked down at them for a few moments, trying to figure out what in the world he was going to do.

Finally, he got up and walked around to the foot of his bed where he took out his transfiguration book. Then, he took out several quills and laid them on the floor. He took a deep breath and pointed his wand. The quills were transfigured into 4 white roses which he tied to gether with a black ribbon his mother had used to wrap a special present she sent him. He took a step back from his work and thought to himself, "This will never work. I don't know why I'm even bothering to try."

But, it was worth a shot at any rate. So, he picked up the flowers and moved toward the door but, just before he got there, he turned around and went back to his bed. Picking up the photo of him and Anna in the Village the previous year, he poked a hole in the corner and attached it to the flowers with the ribbon. Confident that was the best he could do, Gavin walked back down the stairs and floated the flowers over to Anna who was still sitting in the same chair. He stayed to watch her reaction, as he had with the bag of chocolate.

Fay took the book from Nik, "Thanks...oh no its no problem!" She said as he got up and walked off to a girl Fay knew as Jesse. Sighing Faylinn opened up the book and flipped threw it, it was beautiful written work. She didn't know perfect Russian but she knew enough to know what the poems were saying. Looking at the book and then closing it she looked around. Fay had come her to talk, and her she was reading. Sighing at herself she closed up the beautifully worded book of Russian Poetry and looked at Nik with his friend.

Suddenly Fay noticed a figure trying to hide and was lingering near the great hall doors. It was Alexander! She hadn't seen him in such a long time. Fay tried to catch his eye as she waved at him, maybe he would come over for a chat.

Anna was still sitting in the same place and had closed her eyes when she felt somehting land on her lap. She opened her eyes and was surprised to find four white roses and a photo. She picked up the picture and looked at it. It was she and Gavin the year before, in the village. It was an adorable picture, really...

She picked up the roses and felt their petals and couldn't help but smile. This was Gavin's attempt at apologizing. It made her feel a bit better, but he still had a long way to go. She turned around so she could see him standing at the bottom of the stairs. She smiled at him and turned back around, looking at the picture.

"And that's about what Al paid for it, too." Jesse said nodding and taking a piece of it and tunning her fingers over the smooth material. Finally, raising her eyes to Nik's, she could tell that he already knew something was up. Sighing, she rested her head on her hand and her elbow on the table, "Something happend today in Hogsmeade that shouldn't." Jesse grabbed Nik's hands and pulled him further away from the rest of the table.

It was embarassing enough having it happen to her, but it was just as bad having to retell it. "Well, Al and I went to a pub, and I was the Queen there. But, Gavin had too much to drink....and he grabbed me....and.."Jesse took her voice down to a barely audible whisper, "he kissed me. Like, really kissed me...I had to bite him to get away..."Jesse could feel her cheeks burning red, and she found it impossible to look at Nik's eyes. "He's ok though..I'm pretty sure he made it back ok.."

Well, it was an improvement. At least she hadn't incinerated anything this time and, he was awarded with a smile. Maybe he was moving in the right direction after all... Gavin stared at the back of Anna's head for a bit before heading back up the stairs. He was at least on the path to forgiveness with Anna but, she had only been a witness to what he had done. Not only did he clearly recall insulting Jesse but, he had attempted to make out with her in the middle of the street, in front of Oblansk.

Nik listened quietly and he felt his stomach sink when he heard what had happened. His hand curled into a fist momentarily as he fought an urge to march himself over to Gavin and sock him in the nose, but relaxed again and shook his head. Instead, he pulled Jesse into his arms and hugged her tight.

"Gavin's a big boy. He'll be all right, but he can take responsibility for his own actions, too and he WILL. I can't believe him sometimes. He knows better than to go drinking." He glowered for a moment then continued. "I'm glad you bit him because he deserved it and it'll teach him a lesson or two for sure." He muttered something in Russian and sighed quietly.

"How about YOU? How are YOU doing, hmm? That was good that you stood up for yourself." His voice was low and soothing, and his Russian accent was more pronounced from all the reading aloud he had done earlier. His hands squeezed her shoulders gently.

Gavin had done a few not-so-honorable things before when they had been kids, but this one topped the list. He'd have to have a talk with his childhood friend afterwards...

Jesse already felt better, and felt a like a dirty weight lift off of her heart, telling Nik what happend. She would never have to tell another soul what happend earlier that day, either. Jesse laid her head on Nik's chest, like she'd done so many times before and said, "I'm fine....I'm always fine. Gav, just really hurt my feelings. He insulted Al more than once, and Al's great. He ....did what he did to me...right in front of Anna. It was awful Nik...but I'm sure he's paying for it. Al punched him good, he got bit by me, he got kicked by Anna, then Al let him cool off in the fountain. I hate myself for wanting to know if he's ok. "

Jesse, thoroughly glad that she had not cried in front of Nik like she had with Al, met Nik's eyes again. "We're not going to ever tell anyone what he did, Ok?"

Nik lightly petted her hair as he listened and found himself being once again amazed by Jesse's good heart. Even though Jesse had been at the brunt of Gavin's foolishness, she was still quick to forgive and to put their friendship first.

"He's your good friend and despite him being a world class idiot, he's still your friend and you care about him." He soothed. "I'm glad to know he got put in his place. He needed a lesson and I think he got it. Good to know 'Xander's good in a pinch, too." He glanced over at 'Xander and nodded with a grin.

"I'm glad to know you're all right and I don't plan on telling anyone about this, nor would I have a reason to." He promised and held out his hand to seal his promise.

Alexander stood uncomfortably for several long minutes, considering what he should do. He spotted Fay waving at him, and he was going to go sit by her when Nik looked right at him and nodded. Alexander assumed that meant Jesse had told him about Alexander punching Ormand, and Alexander nodded back stiffly. The whole interchange threw him off, and he stood a moment longer before grabbing a roll and an apple of the Phoenix table to his left and exiting back out of the Great Hall.

Nik saw 'Xander's reaction and his eyebrow winged upwards in response. The stiffness in the nod, the sudden retreat...

His mind immediately went into overdrive as he tried to piece the puzzle together.

Did 'Xander think... that he was mad that 'Xander had punched Gavin? No... that wasn't right... He HAD grinned at his housemate after all...

Was he... jealous maybe?

Nik's heart beat a little faster at this thought. The twinge that he had felt earlier in the morning returned. That morning, he had made himself promise that he wouldn't stand between them should they happen to like each other in that way, despite how he himself might feel. Seeing how 'Xander treated Jesse, there was really no way in the world he could find fault in his friend to justify his own surge of jealousy.

Jealousy... that was what that twinge had been.

When he and Jesse and Gavin had been younger, he had the childish notion of marrying Jesse someday so they could have their house in the trees away from adults who wanted them to act more civilized. It had been a childish thought, but in some ways, he had hoped it might have some truth in the future because after all this time, no one accepted him better than Gavin and Jesse - Jesse in particular. But time had changed them all a bit and now was now and the past was the past.

'Xander was a nice guy. He was a great guy and a great friend and he'd have to thank him for bringing Gavin back to his senses and for standing with Jesse.

He'd deal with his own bout of jealousy on his own terms and quietly. Without anyone telling him, he knew jealousy was a powerful force and it could kill friendships and sour love. The last thing he needed was to have such a thing come between him and his friends.

He swallowed, hard, and steeled his emotions, swearing that he wouldn't mention this to anyone.

Fay looked off at Alex as he left and sighed. She turned back at the table and stared at the Niks book. "You know Grandma, sometimes I really hate it when your right." Faylinn then finished her apple and decided she'd just might as well go make friends with her books again because the year seemed to be going that way anyway. Getting up she passed by Nik and his friend Jesse, sighing she walked out of the great hall and made her way...somewhere,anywhere. Fay decided she'd want some fresh air but she really didn't want to go all the way outside so she made her way to a little place she knew.

It was a corner by a window sill, Fay had found this quiet little spot in her first year when she decided to find everything and know everything for future years. It had come to be a place she visited on times when lonely or just tired of school work. Fay sat on the window sill and looked out, it was a beautiful day. Faylinn wanted to bang her head on the wall, "Why do you always to this Faylinn Shea!" She whispered to herself as she leaned against the wall and just sat there...looking...searching...

She watched with narrowed eyes as Jesse rushed straight over to Nik.

"Well, there's that idea out the window..." she sighed, musing over whether she should just leave the room.

The she saw Al, he seemed to hang back from the rest of the group. She considered trying to get his attention but instead settled for a smile in his direction. At least then it would be his choice whether he talked to her or not.

Jesse took Nik's hand to seal the deal, but his eyes were no longer looking down at her. He was looking off, obviously in one of his deep thinking moments. Jesse turned her head just in time to see the back of Al's new fance robes whisk out the door.

Jesse, like Nik, sat quietly thinking. Jesse wanted to run after him and guide him back to sit with them...but why hadn't he come over in the first place? Jesse wasn't able to come up with a reasonable answer as to why he wouldn't come over to sit at his own table with his friends,so she just laid her head back down on Nik's chest. Jesse was ready to go face Gavin now. Now that she had Nik to help her through it. He'd make sure things were put back together correctly...

Jesse looked back up to Nik's face, he was still in thought. Jesse tapped her finger on his chest.."Nik? When you're done thinking....I think we should go look for Gavin.." Jesse sat back to wait on Nik..

As he idly petted her hair, Jesse's voice brought him out of his deep thinking and his hazel eyes cleared and he grinned and nodded. "That sounds like a good idea to me, as long as you let me give him just a little trouble."

He lowered his voice. "Which reminds me... I finished restoring Gav's book. Think I should give it to him now or later?"

He was relieved that Jesse in fact seemed perfectly all right. If she wasn't then he wouldn't let her near Gavin just yet.

Jesse's eyes drifted to where Nik's had just come from. She loved the way he could just sit and think and let the world go on around him--something Jesse sure wasn't capable of doing.

"You have my permission to give him as much trouble as you'd like. Actually, I'd prefer it coming from you..." Jesse looked around and scooted closer to Nik. Lowering her voice to a whisper she said, "You may think this is dumb...but I'm sort of afraid of him right now... I'm not one to be afraid either...so, you can do the talking."

Jesse took the book from Nik's hands. He had done a spectacular job on it, and Gavin was just going love it when he saw it. Jesse smiled down at the book, "Let's see how he acts before we give him the book back.."

"That's perfectly understandeable, J." Nik nodded and squeezed her shoulder comfortingly. "I'd be a bit shaken up, too, if that had happened to me." He looked at her and smiled and lightly ruffled her hair. "You're very resilient Jesse and I'm proud of you and it's okay to feel however you feel about this. Don't feel like you have to be embarrassed about this or anything." His eyes were serious, but warm and he held her gaze for a moment.

His face broke into about as devious of a grin as it would ever get and he patted the book and made it momentarily disappear. "He'll have to earn this book back." He nodded in agreement. Seeing her slight hesitation, he added quietly and firmly, "We'll see him only when you're ready to."

Even though Jesse looked to be doing okay, he knew that she was still really shook up about what had happened. He made a mental note to keep an eye out of her and to stick close to her for the next few days to see how she was doing. He stuck his hand into his pocket to think and he came across a little package of delectable chocolates he had brought with him from home.

"Now you, J... deserve chocolate." He smiled and offered her the package of chocolates. "They're Russian chocolates." He grinned.

Jesse didn't feel perfectly normal. She was scared of one of her oldest best friends...she knew that wasn't really him...but still. Jesse took the chocolates from Nik's hands. She opened one up quickly and popped it in her mouth. "Sweet and Russian! Just like you!" she said with her mouth full and a big grin spread across her face.

"I'm ready to go if you are, Nik. I think I want to just get this over with why I have you with me...I don't want to wake up in the morning and be in the Common Room with him alone. We need to fix this..today. " Jesse finally moved back away from the security of Nik and got up from the bench.."I wish Al would of stayed around...he could of come with us to talk to Gavin..."Jesse said eyeing Nik again.

Gavin paced the boys' dorm, unable to rest. Now that Anna was at least talking to him, he was worried about Jesse. They'd been friends forever and now he'd violated her, in public, no less. He sighed and picked up Sobek. "Let's go for a walk, shall we?" he asked the feline who purred in his arms. "I'll take that for a yes."

He walked quietly back down the stairs, hoping not to disturb Anna as he walked out the door and began to head for the main entrance.

Feeling as if she were about as visible as thin air, she grabbed a fistful of peanuts and left the hall, bag slung over her shoulder.

As she walked through the entrance hall she saw Gavin looking deeply concentrated on some thought or other.

Sobek had obviously smelt the peanuts as he began pacing over to her. She dropped her bag at her side and held her hand open, smoothing him as he lapped them up, not bothering to look up at its owner.

Gavin followed Sobek over to Marcella. "I still have your cloak," he said. "I didn't know when I'd be seeing you again and I wasn't too keen on being seen carrying around a Phoenix cloak so, it's locked up in my trunk."

She nodded her head as Gavin spoke and stroked Sobek, still refusing to look up at him. "So, when will I be getting it back?" she asked, acting as if she were totally uninterested in having a normal conversation with when, on the inside, she was dying to talk to anyone.
