I came up with this idea and I hope people join in. Basically what it is is mainly made ups, although people might want to double up as Harry, Ron, Hermione and co later.

The RP opens in their fourth year (so everyone who's in the same year is 14/15) at Durmstrang Academny. This RP runs as GoF through Durmstrang students eyes. Later on in the RP, those playing Durmstrang students will be going to Hogwarts for the Tournament and so it goes from there.

We can have a different outcome for GoF or the same, we could have the same Durmstrang champion, or we can have a different one. It's really up to you lot. If someone wants to play Krum, they can, but it isn't essential to the RP. Preferably made-ups please.

I will be playing as Voldemort's daughter, Marcella, who in my scheme of things, spends her time at Durmstrang from years 1 to 4 and then when Dumbledore is reminded of her in GoF, he decides to move her. But that is not relevant for this.

So all who want to join please express an interest and we'll go from there. Advanced RPers only, post minimum is one paragraphs preferably no shorter the 5/6 lines.

"Well," Gavin said to Anna after the gamekeeper had addressed them. "Looks like there's more flying today. The hippogriffs shouldn't pose much of a problem since we encountered them in class last term but, I'm not too sure about the dragons. There are a lot of different kinds. I wonder which they picked for this trial?"

"Probably something really dangerous., kind of dragon... one with talons and claws all over..." Anna said, considering just full-out skipping this trial. "Do you think I'd get introuble if I didn't do this? I've never fancied dragons too much.

Marcella's eyes flew open wide as she laid sight on a Welsh Green and Flaming Romanian. Both dragons looked equally fiercesome. Thinking perhaps the dragons might be harder and definitely scarier, she considered going for that task first, as obviously alot of people might dodge it until later and therefore she`d have as little an audience as possible.

Deeply inhaling shuddering breaths, she stepped forward and nodded her head to the teacher running the dragon task and nodded her head intensely as she focused on the instructions being given to her.

After a few long moments of walking back and forth and doing some breathing exercises, Nik felt his lungs relax a touch - enough to allow for his panic to subside enough so he could concentrate on the instructions. Out of earshot from everyone else, he murmured a heartfelt thank you to Jesse for her companionship and help. He didn't know what would have happened if she hadn't been there to help him return to his senses as it were.

He and animals and creatures normally got along well enough, but between the hippogryffs and dragons, he got the distinct impression that no amount of analysis would help get him through this. Both creatures were regal and majestic and awe-inspiring, but the dragons all seemed to have a sense of barely-contained ferocity in them and they seemed to be more unpredictable. He could at least sense from the hippogryffs their energy, whether it be positive or negative, but he also knew that hippogryffs were notoriously unpredictable.

Experience with handling other animals told him that smelling like another animal - especially a prey animal or a predator animal - was not going to help him, so he shook out his wand and quietly performed a simple cleaning spell on himself which would clean off any other odors or smells or traces that might affect the animals' sense of smell.

With these thoughts, he knew he would just have to trust his own instinct and common sense to guide himself through this task.

Using a speed charm on her legs, she circulated a protective shield around her magically and tried to hold it will running toward the dragon, dodging the flame shooting from it's mouth. She was greatful to see the beast was tied down but didn't stop it from swinging its almighty claws, flapping its huge wings and hurling flames of fire at her.

Ducking between its legs, she slid toward the nest where the stone star rested. Pocketing it rapidly, she skidded past the dragon once more, scrapping her knee badly, her cheek getting caught by the end of a flame and burning. Out of breath, she stood and handed the star to the teacher who looked both impressed, concerned and gobsmacked.

Despite her exhausted state, she approached the Hippogriff pen, determined to get it over and done with before her injuries started to make themselves really known to her body.

Jesse had been too worried with Nik, to really worry about herself, but when Riddle stood up to take her turn, the reality of it all sunk in. Glancing back to Nik, she had to marvel at his cool composure, for Jesse herself was about two seconds from panic. Jesse wasn't like the rest of them..she didn't care learning charms and knowing how to get past dragons..When would she ever need that? She now knew when she'd need it...she thought to herself as the dragon lashed at Riddle.

But, until recent events, Jesse hadn't been one to show fear. Even though she was sure Nik could feel her trembling beside her, she didn't falter. She had to think up something quick..and logical. Jesse could do logic..

Alexander watched Jesse gather her wits, and he decided to give her a some additional time. He put his hand on her arm and approached the dragon, giving him the eye as he walked up. The dragon was large, but not the largest he'd seen, as Alexander had visited the Dragon Reserve a few years ago. He watched the beast for a few moments, noting that for all its attempt at intense concentration on the students wandering around, the calls of the hippogryff and other small things were distracting it. It was kind of like a large dog in that way, and Alexander had an idea.

Using a charm he'd only read about, a flock of birds appeared from Alexander's wand and flew about the dragon's head. The dragon began to snap at them, unable to catch one. While its head was in the air, Alexander raced around its flinging tail and grabbed one of the stone figures behind it. Just as he was about to clear the pen, the dragon realized he was there and made a swipe at him. Alexander was too busy thinking about running to even notice the dragon until he felt the burning pain in his shoulder. He dropped the stone at the supervising professor's feet and made his way over to the nurse.

Jesse could of kissed Al ten times for going ahead of her and giving her more time. He had done the task brilliantly, and Jesse watched as he passed by the hippogriffs to see the nurse..

Then inspiration hit Jesse full on. She could of laughed out loud at how easy this was going to be. Jesse took off around the edges of the marked off area and circled around to the hippogriffs. Jesse bowed to her hippogriff, a large spotted one with a wild feather on top of its head. He was funny looking, but Jesse knew better than to comment on it. He bowed back to her and Jesse hopped on and took off.

Flying on the hippogriff was so much fun, that Jesse regreted having to come down, but she other business to attend to. She circled the dragon's head, using the hippogriff as bait. It lashed at her and the hippogriff, but she made sure to stay just out of reach.

All to amused, Jesse landed her hippogriff and tied him down. Again, he was just out of reach of the dragon, but the dragon was wailing and lashing and really wanting some hippogriff for supper. It was so consumed with the hippogriff that Jesse was able to not only get the stone, but able to rub the side of the dragon before coming back. But, Jesse heard a loud pop and the hippogriff rope had snapped...

It obvisously wasn't the brightest bird in the flock, because the next sound to Jesse's ears were the crunching of bones and squish from the hippogriff in the dragon's mouth.

"I think we may need to see about getting another hippogriff..,"Jesse said, her voice full of innocence as she looked up at the judges. THey all seemed to not hear her as their faces were in shock and stilll looking at bits of hippogriff left...

Jesse retreated over to where Al was, her hands down deep in her pockets..

Anna decided that she really did not want to do this task, and it was completely pointless, seeing as she had no chance of winning anyway. She walked away from the paddock, and found a nice tree that was perfectly climbable with a nice little branch that was just the perfect for sitting on. Anna put her foot in a hole in the trunk and pulled herself up to sit on a branch and watched her classmates from afar.

She watched Jesse do her task and laughed, seeing how it ended up. She looked a little embarassed and the judges didn't look too happy as the wrote on their papers. That was so classic Jesse.

She saw Gavin laugh, and he looked like he forgot about yesterday.... What Gavin hd done was terrible, but, now that Anna thought about it, it could have been her own fault. She was drunk too, and could have easily done the same thing. The affects of alcohol were many... each one as bad as the next.

She caught herself thinking about how she should just forgive Gavin, talk to Jesse and tell her to forgive him and maybe things could be like they used to and they could all have a great time for the rest of the year.

But, then, she decided that was not real and despite how much she wanted it to, something like this could not be resolved in a day. She made a mental note to be a little nicer to Gavin and maybe even talk to him about what happened and how she kind of understood.

Gavin burst out laughing at what Jesse had just done. "Nice one, Jess," he shouted, forgetting all about what had happened the day before and the fact that Jesse was still afraid of him. Watching her back at her old tricks had pushed all those memories away as his old friend reemerged from the broken mess he'd managed to make her in his druken stupidity.

Anna noticed that the tree in which she was sitting was, in fact, a fruit tree. An apple tree, to be more precise. Apples were so... aerodynamic. Perfect for tossing at drunks' heads. She grinned as she grabbed an apple, observed it and chucked it straight at Gavin, who was standing about twenty feet away.

Gavin was about to take his turn with the dragon while it was still preoccupied, cleaning its teeth from its hippogriff when he suddenly felt something hard crash into the back of his head. "Ouch," he yelled, rubbing the back of his head as he turned around to see what had hit him.

He didn't see anything at first but, as his gaze wandered upward, he found Anna laughing in a tree. "Just you wait!" he shouted to her before heading into the paddock. The professors were discussing what to do about the hippogriff since a few students still had to tackle that part of the task but, they nodded at him and Gavin took that as a sign to move forward.

The dragon swatted its tail half-heartedly as he ran past but, luckily, was still preoccupied with its meal so Gavin had no trouble at all retrieving the stone and getting back to the teachers with it. After depositting the stone with them, he ran back to the tree Anna was in and started to climb up.

Holding her bloody knee, she winced from the pain in her burnt cheek as she laughed. Realising she wasn't fit to fly a Hippogriff in her state, she stumbled near to where Anna and Gavin were messing around on the grass.

The hippogriff having been eaten, the teachers who seemed caught between baffled and amused, dismissed the students still waiting for that task, telling them they'd take that and injuries into account when judging who would be fit to go into the final four.

OK - so am I right in thinking ALL characters are going to Hogwarts.

Those who want to be in the four, say so or forever hold your peace.

After it is 'announced' in the RP, they'll be leaving for Hogwarts quite rapidly so we need to double up and decide whose playing Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna, Draco and that.

Anna laughed, glad that her aim was dead on; she had hit him right on the back of the head. She watched him complete his task and walk over to her tree. He started to climb up and Anna pulled down another apple and dropped it on his head. She grinned and scooted over on her branch, patting the spot next to her with her hand.

ooc: Gavin would like to be one of the four though, I'm not sure which person I'd like to play at Hogwarts... Maybe a girl to balance me off...

Gavin slid down the tree, rubbing the top of his head before looking back up at her. Anna had moved over and was now smiling and patting the branch next to her. Gavin grinned, and with one last look at the judges who were dismissing everyone, he climbed up next to her. "So... what's up? Aside from us, of course," he smiled.

"Clever, you are," Anna said, slightly amused by Gavin's pun. "Good job with your task... I decided not to do it. I'm having much more fun up in this tree, really. It's interesting to see the world from a different point of view. Even if it's only a few feet."

"I don't really care about getting in right now, I have no chance anyway, and it doesn't really matter," Anna said, looking down and picking some bark off the branch they were sitting on. "I guess I will come. If everyone else is going. If you don't get in, you're still going, right?"

Gavin shrugged. "I guess. I mean, I don't want to be the only one left behind and if you're going... Yeah, I'll probably go even if I don't get in. I wonder what it will be like," he replied, his hand unconciously straying toward Anna.

"Yeah, it is supposed to be pretty big although, they have four houses just like us. I wonder if they are similar to ours. It could be interesting, though, I don't see why they can't just come here," Gavin responded a bit arrogantly, his hand stopping just before it touched Anna's hand.

"Well, it IS a bigger school, so there's more room. There's always the third school, too. And they have to have it at one of the schools, I guess Hogwarts was just picked first," Anna shrugged and slipped her hand into Gavin's and smiled.

Gavin opened his mouth to respond again when he suddenly though he felt something he knew he couldn't have felt. First, he looked over at Anna who was smiling and then, he looked down. Sure enough, her hand was in his. What should have been a happy moment, only seemed to have confused him. Did this mean she forgave him completely and they were okay? Or, was she forgetting herself? Or maybe this was some sort of test... He gulped down the lump in the back of his throat, his breathing getting a bit more rapid as he looked back up into Anna's eyes. "Um..." Gavin had completely forgotten what he was going to say and suddenly swayed a bit on the branch, almost losing his balance.

Anna reached herother hand out to steady Gavin who seemed to have been taken aback by the hand-holding. "If I knew you were going to get all uptight about this, I would have done it..." She said, though she didn't remove her hand. When Gavin was nice and still, Anna spoke, "Listen, Gavin... yesterday was just a big mistake in itself. Neither of us should have drank that much... we were both under its influences, you just happened to get the worst of it. So, I'm not saying what you did what justified because you were drunk, but I understand a little more. I just want things to go back to normal."

Gavin managed a grin at Anna's statement of understanding. "Yeah, me too. I'm really really sorry, Anna but, I'm glad you are at least willing to give me another chance," he said, a mischeiveous grin forming on his face. He quickly took out his wand and pointed it at the ground before leaning backwards and pulling Anna off the branch with him, onto the softened ground below.
