"Rowan wanted us to let you know that he and Millie wouldn't be joining us tonight." Damon gave his father a nervous smile, "But I actually have some news."

'ohh here it comes here it comes' Ariana closed her eyes and simply braced herself

Damon was waiting for his father to ask what when he picked up on Ari's nervousness, "Actually, before I do tell you what I need to I need to talk to Ari." He lightly took her hand and led her up the stairs and into his room, "What's wrong?"

Ariana had her eyes closed when before she knew it someone had her haid and she was whisked away and up the stairs she opened her eyes as she went up the stairs but didnt realize it was damon till they were in a room with the door shut she looked at him "I.. i i dont know i just got all nervous and freaked out, your dad scares me enough as it is." she admitted to him

Damon couldn't fight a chuckle, "My father scares you?" He smiled at her, "There's no need to be Ari. Dad's not a scary guy, he's only protective when it comes to some things... But he's nice to his family, and he actually was to Taylor as well." He hugged her, "Believe me, he'll be a better experience then the last two times... Or one time for you actually."

ariana sighed and let out a chuckle with him I, just i know it's silly but i cant help it." she slouched her shoulders and looked down "some things.. like you?" she questioned him as she hugged him back laying her head on his chest. she pulled away and looked him in the eyes her arms still around his back "i just dont want anyone else to tell us we cant happen."

"If you want to be minor, then yes, me... But his family in general." Damon nodded, "I know, and I don't want them to either... But sometimes you have to fight to be happy, and I mean, on the bright side, in the family, after we tell Puck, it'll spread to Chelle and Elizabeth... So we only have to tell him and Min now." He kissed her forehead lightly.

Puck was about to say okay when Damon whisked Ariana away. He shrugged it off and went to grab Midsummer's night dream to read it despite knowing it by heart.

Ariana nodded he was right and she knew that he kissed her forehead and she blushed again, it was nice that h was so much taller then her cause she just turned her face down a bit till it went away "ok, your right." she looked up at him and smiled before going on her tiptoes (cause she was short) and kissing him on the cheek, since they hadnt had their first kiss yet this would be an awkward time and place to do that and she didnt want to make him uncomfortable soo.. the cheek it is

Damon smiled at her, "So are you ready, or do you need a few more moments?" He looked down at her.

she took in a few deep breaths before fixing her hir back behind her shoulders " ok, now im ready."

Damon nodded and opened his bedroom door, "Alright Puck," He sighed as he started down the steps, "Now I can tell you," He smiled back at Ariana, offering his hand to her, just in case she lost her nerve again.

Ariana headed down the stairs and when Damon offered his hand to her she didnt hesitate in taking it. she put her smile back on and took unobvious deep breaths while repeating ' you have to fight to be happy' in her head

"Dad?" Damon looked at him with a sigh, "And he's blocked us out... He does it all the time when he's reading his script..." He shook his head, "Well, we'll just have to wait for him to snap out of it, I suppose..." His head shot to the door as someone knocked, "Anna can't seriously be here already," He sighed and answered it, surprised to see who was standing in the doorway.
"Damon!" Harmony smiled at him, "I didn't think you'd be home, seeing how Hogwarts had started, but how've you been?" She hugged him tightly, ignoring him trying to flinch away from her, "I've missed you!" She smiled up at him again, "And I heard what happened with Taylor. Horrible, but maybe it's time to move on," The fifteen year old's smile widened, meaning herself of course not knowing or noticing his hand was still wrapped in Ariana's.

Arian sighed and braced for jugement from his father but then when damon said we'd have to wait she was relieved untill.. some one knocked on the door. When damon said Anna she knew that was his grandmother, millie wrote her about their first meeting and knew this just wasnt good.. at all
But it was a younger girl around there age and damon didnt see too keen on seeing her. See eyes the girl like she had gone and lost her mind when she mentioned him "moving on" she obviously didnt notice ari had a firm grip on his hand when she decided to just be a bit rude herself "Hi, I'm Ariana damon's girlfriend." she said to the strange girl as she pulled Damon back to her lightly and putting her arms around him

Damon couldn't help the sigh of relief as Ariana got him away from Harmony, "And I already have moved on." He wrapped his arms around Ariana as well.
Harmony looked at the two of them, "Ariana... We met a Damon's birthday party a few years back," She said remembering the girl, then they said they were dating, "But... I thought you two hated each other?..." She asked confused.

Ahh yes the dreaded party, that was an awkward time for all of them, she smiled up at damon as he put his arms around her "people change, time can do that to you." she was still glaring at the girl who she honestly didnt remember but she probably forgot her for a reason

Harmony frowned, "I thought Slytherin's were supposed to hate everyone," She said plainly.
"Well, Ariana isn't exactly a normal Slytherin," Damon smiled at Ari, "And that's why I like her,"

"well if thats no stereo typed then i dont know what is, slytherins actually like SOME people. and i like him, though im not to fond of you at the moment to be honest." she looked up at damon when he said that was why he liked her and the butterflies were off again in her stomach

Puck looked up from the play, "No one is too fond of her." He rubbed his head, "Sorry, did I zone out again, Damon?" Robin grimaced.

"Every house has one, but the most idiotic one is the one put against them." Damon pulled Ariana slightly closer, "Ari's actually really sweet. Not all Slytherin's are evil, not all puffs are sweet, not all claws are smart, and not all Gryffindors are brave and heroic." He smiled at Ariana.
Harmony's frowned deepened, "I can't believe you're actually standing up for her..." She shook her head and walked out the door again.
As Harmony left Damon turned to face his Dad, "Yeah, you did... But what I... What we," He motioned to Ariana, "Wanted to tell you is that we're together."

Ariana rolled her eyes as harmony walked out the door but then Puck began to speak she froze up again and turned around slowly with an obvious "im terrified" kind of smile on her face

Damon looked down at Ariana, taking her hand in his again, giving it a light squeeze.

Puck glanced at them, "Congrats?" He raised an eyebrow, "Thought you two hate each other, but oh well... I guess she is better than Taylor. Taylor is just a brat and didnt deserve you though I did wish you would of picked outside the family..." Robin shrugged. "But oh well."

Ariana rolled her eyes just a bit ' and there we go with the family hoorah once again.' she thought to herself. she moved closer to damon an put her arm around his back when she noticed puck hadnt said anything else.. that was it.. no lecturing o yelling or shame on you o.0
