Default That Summer - V.5!

This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.

This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

ooc: NoName...

Vianna gave a soft amused chuckle as Ferris admitted that he couldn't yet believe that it wasn't just going to be the two of them anymore, then going on to add that he wouldn't really come to believe this idea until they brought the baby home. And these words seemed to amaze the young girl almost as much as they amazed the boy beside her as a more thoughtful, far-away kind of look took over her blue eyes. But in just around nine months, they were going to be bringing a baby home. And this baby was going to stay at home with them for many, many years to come. It was completely surreal. Vianna was soon snapped from these thoughts, though, as the boy at her side commented that he was going to have to share his gem as well, and that that would be a greater loss than her having to share him, something which got the young girl to chuckle softly with amusement. She said nothing, though, and instead listened as he went on to add that he was sure the future baby was going to be hanging on their mommy's every word, not his, something which got her to chuckle softly once more. "I don't know, Professor, I wouldn't be so sure…. I don't seem to posses that natural talent you have with kids," said the young girl with a warm smile, blue eyes sparkling at the boy beside her as she remembered all the many times he'd proven his skill with children, how easily each child that came into his life was always so willing to trust him right away. Mrs. Montgomery had been right; she was a lucky girl.

Vianna was distracted from this, though, as Ferris wondered aloud if their child would be a boy or a girl. The young girl's light eyebrows rose then; she hadn't even really thought about this yet. What would their child be? "I think I have no preference..." she admitted softly, thoughtfully, her brows furrowing slightly as her crystal blue eyes fell upon their hands once more. She tried to imagine what their baby girl would like, or what their baby boy would look like, but the only conclusion she could come to was that either one seemed perfect for them, that she didn't mind holding a little boy or a little girl in her arms, that she would love that child just as much. And either way, the idea of dressing up a little girl in cute dresses and colourful bows sounded just as appealing as the idea of teaching a little boy how to ride a broom and kick a ball. "Professor…" Vianna started softly, her blue eyes still on their hands, after a few long moments of comfortable silence in which they both thought about the gender of their child. "Would you like to know the gender before it's born or would you like it to be a surprise?" she asked curiously.

But Vianna had no idea what decisions they were going to be making, they hadn't been planning this and hadn't talked about it in ages! Would they want to know the gender of the baby before it was born? What name would it have? Were they going to stay in the same house? Etc. There were many other questions that hadn't even occurred to the girl yet, but that would be popping up as time passed and they got further into this pregnancy, trying to sort things out, to figure out what they wanted to do with their child. And it was just the slightest bit scary for the girl to be so clueless, so unknowing of what would be happening from now on, so unsure of whether it was too early to start planning or if it was time already, but she wasn't worrying too much about it right this second. For now, she just wanted to enjoy the news, the idea of making a small family with her favourite person on the planet.

OOC: Baheehee! That one made me laugh too...

Ferris gave a faint smile as Vianna mentioned that she didn't seem to have the natural talent he had with kids, something that he couldn't help but grow amused with. "They love you," he contradicted, remembering the many children they'd met in Greece, how easily they'd warmed up to the both of them. But he liked that children seemed to like him, to trust him as they so often did; he liked that he already sort of had a head start in the idea that he'd been around children so much for all of his life. With Nathan and all of the other children always around Crossfield, he'd always talked and played with them, read them books. He was distracted from these thoughts as the girl at his side admitted that she had no preference for the gender of their baby, something that, upon thinking about, he couldn't help but agree with. Yes, either one sounded quite nice, didn't it? Ferris's smile widened slightly at this thought, his brown eyes a bit distant as he thoughtfully wondered about their child, what it would turn out to be, how sweet it would be just to have a child, either way. It was a nice thought. And he knew from the second that he brought up gender that he didn't mind which their baby happened to be. Because it would be their baby. Theirs. And nothing mattered past that.

Ferris was brought back to earth, his brown eyes snapping back to reality, as Vianna then asked if he wanted to know the gender of the baby before it was born or if he would rather it be a surprise, and he thought on this for a long moment. A faint smile crossed his features, his brown eyes roaming back to her blue ones. "I think I might like to know the gender before he or she is born," he admitted softly, flashing her a warm smile. "I mean, that's what I'm thinking now... I don't know if maybe suddenly I'll realize I want it to be completely surprise in a month or two," he continued with a soft chuckle, his pale expression graced with a lopsided smile, quirkiness shining through each of his features. "But for right now..." the young man continued softly, brown eyes still locked to her blue ones. "I think I like the idea of knowing as soon as we can. Just so...we can officially name him or her before they arrive," he paused, thinking momentarily. "So we...can call the baby by their name, refer to it as its name, and not just be stuck calling it...'it'." He let out a soft chuckle a this, amused with how they'd resorted to calling their baby-to-be 'it'. But what else could they call NoName? Oh. Maybe NoName would work... Hmmm. "Until then, I think I'm going to start calling it NoName," he admitted with a broad grin, letting out a hearty chuckle at the thought. "It just sounds better than... 'it'."

ooc: Ohmygoodness now they're srsly going to start calling the poor creature "NoName"!
Better than what Ruthless calls it, though, "the thing"....

Vianna listened as Ferris shared with her that he wanted to know the gender of their baby before it was born, something to which she smiled warmly at and nodded her head, listening as he went on to explain that this was what he thought now, that he might change his mind as time passed. Vianna chuckled softly, nodding her head once again. "I understand, Professor," she said softly, honestly feeling the same way herself. They had things they had to do before the baby arrived, after all, like preparing a room and getting clothes and all that sort of thing, but they couldn't really get much of that done without knowing if the child would be a boy or a girl.
The young girl listened attentively as he continued, explaining how by knowing the gender before the baby arrived, they could also try to figure out a name for it and start addressing it by their name rather than just 'it'. Vianna laughed lightly then, also amused by how they were referring to their future child as 'it', as a genderless object. But the girl's laughter only grew as Ferris then decided that they would name their child 'NoName' for the time being. "Professor!" the young girl gasped almost accusingly once her laughter had died out. "How could you possibly baptize our child with that name?!" she asked, completely amused. Though she saw his logic, it's not like they could call it Mary or Gary just yet. "Don't you think that's a bit... well... I don't know!"

OOC: Hey! I thought it was cute, ok?! LOL I didn't mean to call it "the thing"! It just sort of fell out of my keyboard...

Ferris let out a hearty chuckle as Vianna let out his favourite nickname accusingly, obviously amazed that he would come up with the idea to name their child (for the time being) NoName. "What!?" he complained playfully through his fit of laughter, obviously amused with this as well. He listened as she tried to explain her side, asking if he too thought it was a bit...'I don't know'. His eyebrows rose playfully at this, teasing her sweetly with a look that said, 'That's your counterargument?', though he was obviously just joking with her. "What? You want to keep calling our child-to-be, 'it'?" he prompted with amusement clear on his pale features, his eyebrows raising slightly with a grin. He chuckled softly at the prospect, "C'mon Vi...NoName is so much nicer than 'it'," he tried to convince her playfully, pulling her closer as he planted a couple kisses to her cheek.

But honestly, he didn't care what they decided to call their baby until they had a name (though he honestly didn't really like the sound of 'it', it'd be like talking about their baby-in-development as just a thing), whether it be NoName or something else. He had to admit that NoName in particular was a bit funny. "Alright, fine, not NoName," he gave in with an amused smile, face just mere inches from her own, brown eyes sparkling at her with clear amusement behind them. "But what are we going to call him or her until we know what the gender is?" the young man asked, planting a couple more sweet kisses to her skin, on her temple and cheek, loving the way her warm skin felt beneath his lips.

OOC: I'm off for now Dee Deruperssss! I'll be back on tomorrow night, though, and like I said, things should get easier from here! If you just sent me a PM, check your inbox, I'll reply to that one and then reply to the VM (if you left me one) when I return! Wish I didn't have to leave, but bye for now!

ooc: BAHAHHA. & It just... "fell out of your keyboard"??
Lol okay Ruthless, I'll check and stuff! I don't think I've replied to the PM, but I did to the VM. Byeeeeeeeee!

"Well… no!" Vianna immediately replied as Ferris asked if she wanted to continue calling their child 'it'. "But…" she trailed off then, unable to really provide a good counterargument, or at least a better substitution for 'NoName', so she said nothing and instead listened as he continued, trying to convince her that NoName was so much nicer than 'it'. The young girl chuckled softly, smiling as he awarded her cheek with kisses before her hand wandered off to his soft brown hair, playing with his bouncy curls the way she so often did. "It sounds like a longer version of 'it' to me," she admitted with a soft chuckle, her crystal blue eyes admiring his features as he went on to decide that they wouldn't go for 'NoName' after all, then going on to ask what they would be calling him or her until they knew the gender. Vianna sighed softly, honestly not having an answer for this. "I don't really know, Professor…" she said softly. "I suppose NoName will have to do for now," she added, opting that was probably best for the time being, as funny as it sounded.

But whatever name they used for their child, their little 'NoName' was going to be the most loved baby in the planet, despite its funny names, the young girl was sure of it. She knew she would love him or her more than anything else, and she knew Ferris would feel the same way. She really couldn't wait. She couldn't wait to have this little person to shower with care and love. "I really, really, can't wait to have… 'NoName'" - she gave an amused smile - "in my arms." She smiled brightly then, more warmly, and her gaze fell to their hands once more, admiring this sight for the next few moments before speaking softly once again, "How long do you think it'll be until I start getting bi--" but before the young girl could finish that thought, a most horrible feeling took over. It was that terrible nausea again, and she could just feel her breakfast making its way up from her stomach back to her throat, giving her the most horrible sensation as she quickly sat up in a flash with widened blue eyes, running over to the small guest bathroom that was right there on the first floor and closing the door shut behind her.
Alright, maybe this whole being pregnant thing wasn't going to be as sweet and nice as she was starting to believe....

OOC: It diiiidddddd!

Ferris listened with amused brown eyes, his lips still very softly coating her tan skin with kisses, as Vianna explained that she didn't know what else they could possibly call their child-to-be. He let out a soft chuckle at this, knowing that it would be hard to figure out anything else to call their future baby until they knew the gender, and flashed her a bit of a grin. "NoName it is," the young man agreed with a soft laugh, rather amused that this was the best they could come up with for the time being. He admired the sight of her, loving the feel of her fingers in his dark curls immediately as he listened to her mention that she really couldn't wait for little NoName to be in her arms. His eyes, which had since closed momentarily when her fingers met his hair, opened at this statement, searching her lightly tanned expression with a faint smile. "I can't wait either," he murmured after a couple moments of sharing a glance, his smile widening just slightly as he thought about this.

Ferris was just listening to Vianna ask how long he thought it would be before she started getting big, when she very suddenly sat up with a look of horror and disgust in her expression. His smile fell immediately as she slipped from her spot next to him, and in the blink of an eye she was already in the guest bathroom, the door closed. It took him a moment, trying to register what had just happened before he started to hear a horrible retching sort of sound from their bathroom.

Oh. His wife was nauseous still. Because she was pregnant. And she probably wasn't feeling all that well at the moment...

Ferris was up in a flash, quickly taking long strides to the bathroom door, cringing slightly as he realized that his poor Vianna was in there, throwing up her breakfast. He opened his mouth to ask for permission to enter when he realized that now wasn't much time for a chat and he opened the door slowly. "Vi..." he murmured softly, giving a sympathetic half smile as he caught the sight of her. He was immediately at her side, gently pulling all of her beautiful long brown hair behind her back, holding it gently and absentmindedly stroking her back with a bit of a frown, obviously not that happy that his favourite person was now suffering from attacks of nausea.

ooc:

Bleh.
Vianna really disliked this being-sick-all-the-time part of pregnancy. Would it always be this horrible?! If it was, then perhaps she'd just stick to having one child. But the poor girl knew absolutely nothing of this process, so she didn't know if it was going to get better or worse or stay the same, she didn't know what was going to be happening to her from now on (besides getting bigger and hungrier). It was still all so new, so fresh, that it was completely horrifying. And rather disgusting. The young girl could not possibly remember a time she'd felt like this, always so sick, so nauseous, so delicate to anything she ate. It was the worst possible feeling.

She was just getting to her feet and washing her face as Ferris entered the bathroom, his hand meeting her long brown hair as he pulled it back to rest behind her shoulder rather than over it. The young girl sighed softly to herself, her blue-eyed gaze meeting his own from the reflection on the mirror. "Please tell me it's not going to be like this for the next nine months, Professor," she asked softly, the slightest hint of a plead in her voice, in her eyes. But she hated this feeling; absolutely despised it. How was she supposed to get anything done, to be productive at work if she'd be running to the bathroom every five minutes and randomly growing light-headed if she made the slightest move that her body considered 'too fast'? It frightened and completely horrified her to think that it would honestly be like this for nine months, and she hoped dearly that wouldn't really be the case, that things would get better rather than worse.

Ferris watched as Vianna's blue eyes met his brown ones through the reflection in the mirror, still gently holding her hair even though she was now past the actual sickness. He watched with sympathy behind his gaze, brows furrowed as a slight frown fell onto his pale features, watching her expression with a bit of worry. Luckily for the couple, Ferris, having been brought up in a small town with lots of children and everyone knowing each other, had seen a few pregnancies develop due to the fact that his mother hung around with lots of the other women in town. He'd grown up with them all practically in his house nearly all day, he'd wake up and at least one of his mother's friends was in his kitchen, talking with the redheaded woman. The young man had mainly seen Nathan's mother's pregnancy develop, as she was over a lot of the time and he was able to hear lots of their talks about the different stages of pregnancy. Though at the time this seemed like the last thing he would ever want to hear, he was now appreciative of whatever he could recall.

Ferris's heart seemed to shatter right then and there as Vianna almost pleaded, asking that he assure her that it wouldn't be like this for the next nine months. He hated this more than he'd realized he would. He hated the fact that she was obviously so upset with the idea of continuing on with this nausea, and the mere sound of her pleading tone nearly made him melt with heaviness from her comments. "Aw, gem," he murmured in a soft sigh, gently slipping his lanky arms around her from behind, gently pulling her into his chest, still watching her in the mirror. Though he didn't remember every little detail about his mother's talks with some of the women of the town, he did remember vaguely the talks about morning sickness, how technically it wasn't supposed to last forever. "I'm pretty sure that the nausea isn't supposed to last that long," he promised her softly, keeping her close to himself as he kissed her cheek very gently, wanting to keep her right there with him as though this would prevent any nausea from making its way back to him. "We can ask my mum, or yours, but if I remember correctly it's all something about your body getting used to the different hormones," he mumbled softly to her ear, brows still permanently furrowed. "I-I'm not sure though, we should probably look it up," he suggested after, not wanting to tell her somethign that might not happen.

Vianna could read the sympathy on her husband's expression as he gave a soft 'Aw, gem' before his arms wrapped around her in a way that was rather comforting for the girl, that actually made her feel a lot better than she had expected to. But that was just the way it usually worked; whenever his arms were around her she always felt a thousand times better, it was something that never failed. The girl was quiet, though, and listened quietly and attentively as the boy now standing behind her spoke, explaining to her that this nausea wasn't supposed to last forever, that he believed it was just her body getting used to the different hormones, that they should probably look it up. "That's probably wise..." the young girl muttered softly, though at the moment she wasn't really feeling up to doing much reading and research. She felt strangely and unusually tired, just worn out from this illness that only seemed to get worse rather than better. "I think maybe I'll go back to the doctor tomorrow... he'll tell me what's going to be happening from now on," the young girl decided softly, her brows then furrowing slightly as she seemed to realize something. "That is, if you don't mind watching over the bookstore by yourself again... I'm sorry, Professor. If you'd rather I go with you, I'll just make an appointment for another day," said the young girl, suddenly a little worried that she was neglecting her job like this (even if it was just a family job and it's not like she was letting down a boss or something).

Ferris gave a brief nod as Vianna mentioned that she might go back to the doctor the next day as he would be able to tell her what was going to be happening from then on. "Yeah, that's probably best," he agreed, nearly forgetting that they still had to work at the store until she mentioned that this would only happen as long as he was alright watching the bookstore by himself. Oh, right. They had a bookstore to look after. One that he'd left closed for the rest of the day, but he didn't care, not in the slightest. He wanted to be home with her. He didn't mind watching the store the next day, of course not, but...he hadn't really been thinking about that. He was distracted from his own thoughts as Vianna continued, apologizing and assuring him that she could set this appointment for a different day if he'd rather that. "N-No of course not, gem," he immediately replied with a shake of his head, watching her bright blue eyes in the mirror with a weak smile. "It's just..." he trailed off for a moment, thinking about this. Was he crazy for wanting to go with her? But he really wanted to be there with her, to hear for himself what the doctor had to say so he could...help. He felt so helpless just standing here, watching his wife get sick and dizzy whenever she took the wrong step. He didn't like it in the slightest. "I...I was kind of hoping that I could maybe...go with you," he murmured very softly, his brown eyes falling away from her slightly as he absentmindedly pulled her closer.

Vianna didn't seem too reassured as Ferris immediately assured her that it was alright, that he didn't mind, as she could see there was clear thoughtfulness on his pale features. She assumed it to have been about this, that perhaps he was actually upset that she was just throwing her work away like that, missing two days straight (which made no sense, since he obviously cared about her and their child more than that, but Vianna was just easily paranoid at times), and just as she was about to speak, to suggest that she would just go another day and work as normal the following morning, the boy gave a soft, thoughtful 'it's just....' Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly then, crystal blue eyes growing curious. "Yes, Professor?" she asked softly, before he then went on to explain that he was kind of hoping he could maybe go with her. At this, the girl's eyebrows rose further with surprise. She hadn't expected this at all.
However, just a moment later, the warmest of smiles was adorning her lightly tanned face, her crystal blue eyes sparkling at the reflection of her husband in the mirror for another moment before she turned around to face him, still in his arms. "I would love that, Professor," the young girl confessed softly. But the idea of Ferris being there with her made her feel a lot better about this, made her feel... less alone. "I want you... to be there every step of the way," she admitted, her voice still soft, almost a whisper. "I don't want to be alone in this..." she muttered a little more quietly, just about to lean on her toes and place a kiss to his cheek when she realized... "I should probably go brush my teeth." She gave a soft sheepish chuckle then, unable to help feeling a little embarrassed about this before she slipped out of his arms, making her way out of the guest bathroom and over to the stairs, to head over to the second floor and use their own bathroom, where their toothbrushes were.

ooc: Gahh I know I said in my VM that I'd just go whenever you did, but I'm sooooo sleepy, Ruthless!
I'll be back tomorrow, though!! So I'll see you then! Byeeeeeeeeeee Ruthie Rutherssss!

OOC: DEEEEE! We are soooo in sync!!!! If you look at my VM when you get back, I said that I'd be getting off after my next post!!! We are so awersome with timing... But byyyeeeee Deee Deruperssss! Oh, and I'll reply to the VM tomorrow!

Ferris was still hesitantly staring at the sink until Vianna turned around in his arms, forcing his gaze to turn up to see a warm smile on her lightly tanned expression. This, in turn, immediately brought a warm smile onto his own expression, his brown eyes watching her a she confessed that she would love his company the next day. His smile widened at this, turning slightly lopsided on his face as he admired the sight of her, loving that she liked this idea. He remained quiet though, listening as she mentioned that she wanted him there every step of the way, a statement that got his heart to jump slightly in his chest. She wanted him there. Throughout all of the pregnancy, that's what she wanted. And he loved that! He probably wouldn't be able to stand it if he had to stay on the sidelines, not hearing all of the details, all that they were in for; and he wanted to be there for her.

It was then that she continued, more softly adding that she didn't want to be in this thing alone. His smile turned a bit more sympathetic, reassuring, a hand coming up to frame her jaw, "You're never ever gonna be alone," he reminded her with slightly raised eyebrows. "Especially with this. There's no way I would ever let my gem go through a pregnancy by herself," he assured her softly, smiling slightly as he felt her lean onto her toes, realizing that she was going to give him a kiss on the cheek. But before her lips could get there she sheepishly mentioned the need to brush her teeth, and he gave a hearty chuckle, nearly forgetting. "Yeah, that wouldn't be a bad idea," the young man agreed with an amused smile, gently releasing her so she could go upstairs. He let out a soft sigh, turning off the bathroom lights before heading into the kitchen to get her a glass of water.

ooc: Yeah I saw! But yeah, we're totally awersome!

Vianna definitely felt a lot, lot better after Ferris assured her that he wasn't ever going to leave her alone, that there was no way he would ever let her go through a pregnancy by herself. It was exactly what the young girl needed to hear, what she had hoped to hear. This whole pregnancy thing, as sweet and beautiful as it was, was also the scariest thing she had even gone through, and to have her husband beside her, helping her, made the young girl feel a thousand times better than she normally would have; it was a huge relief to know she wasn't in this alone.

Once in the upstairs bathroom, the young girl proceeded to brush her teeth thoroughly for the next few minutes, much longer than usual or necessary. She then washed her face one more time, just to refresh herself a little before heading back downstairs, checking her watch only to realize that it was around four in the afternoon and neither she or Ferris had had any lunch yet. At this, her eyebrows rose with surprise, and she headed over to the kitchen only to find the boy was there already. "Oh, hey," she greeted him with a soft chuckle. "How about..." she started with a warm smile on her face, "I make us a snack, and we go out and eat by a campfire? I did promise, after all," said the young girl, remembering the promise she'd made to the boy before leaving to visit his mother, where she'd assured him that they would have a campfire when she got back.

OOC:

Ferris, who had been filling up a couple glasses with ice and water, turned as Vianna entered the kitchen and greeting him. He gave an instant smile at the sight of her, his brown eyes admiring the sight of her on instinct, taking in her expression as she neared him. She was glowing and it was only now he realized that this was probably due to the pregnancy. He'd always heard that women gave off a sort of glow when they were pregnant, but he'd never truly believed it. Not until he saw his own wife's expession (that had always been bright), which was now glowing with twice the normal shine, a beautiful sort of illumination to her sweet smile that he hadn't expected the impact of. It sort of blew him away on the spot.

And so it took a few extra seconds for him to recognize what she'd asked, his brown eyes set on her expression, admiring it shamelessly as an almost goofy grin fell onto his face. Finally, he realized that she'd suggested they make a snack and head out to the campfire with it, and he gave a sheepish chuckle, flashing her a bit of a grin. "That sounds...amazing," he replied softly, shaking his head slightly with a bit of a disbelieving look as he realized that he'd actually zoned out for a second there. Of course he remembered that Vianna had promised him a campfire, but he hadn't been sure if his wife was still up to it, knowing that it must've been quite a long day for her. But he still wanted one, of course he did, he loved campfires. He loved being able to sit out on their little beach with his wife, just watching the flames and the waves. It was nice, and unexpectedly relaxing.

Vianna's light eyebrows rose slightly and her warm smile turned rather amused as Ferris merely stared at her with an adorable goofy sort of grin on his face, something which could never cease to amuse the girl. She couldn't help wondering, though, what exactly had brought this on, why her husband suddenly seemed so dazed. She waited patiently, though, for him to reply to her suggestion, something which was taking him unusually wrong. She was just about to speak again, to inquire what was wrong, before he finally spoke, sharing with her that the idea of a campfire sounded amazing.

The young girl chuckled softly with amusement at the daze in his tone, watching with amusement as he shook his head slightly to himself, apparently just realizing that he had been kind of out of it for a moment there. "Very well, then," said Vianna, pulling out a couple plates. "What does my Professor wish to snack on this lovely afternoon?" she asked with playful formality, then chuckling softly to herself.

Ferris's smile only seemed to be growing more sheepish as he took note of Vianna's chuckles, knowing that they were most likely because of his moment of zoning out. But he was quickly distracted, setting their glasses of water down, as his wife began to gather the plates and asked what her Professor wanted to snack on. He turned thoughtful, thinking about what he was in the mood for before he seemed to remember that the girl at his side hadn't been exactly taking well to just any food they ate these days. His smile fell at this, brown eyes studying her expression momentarily before he gave a weak smile, "Whatever you want is fine with me. I don't want it to upset your stomach," he replied softly with a brief nod, turning towards her before deciding to slip his arms around her from behind, his arms snug around her slender waist as he pulled her into himself.

After a few moments of simply watching her absentmindedly, he let one hand come up to move her hair away from her shoulder, pushing it all over to one side and leaving open her neck for the kissing. "My poor gem..." he grumbled to her softly, almost playfully though it was obvious that there was slight sympathy in his tone. He very gently began to plant loving kisses to the side of her neck, taking in the feel of her smooth skin beneath his lips. "Getting ill..." he continued with slightly furrowed brows, suddenly overcome with a need to make her feel better, to shower her with a feeling that would push all of the others away. But he didn't like his favourite person getting sick, and he'd suddenly found himself with the need to make her feel better, to almost counteract the sickness she'd been feeling lately. And he'd decided to do this through loving kisses, his lips sweetly finding her neck very gently as he kept her close to himself.

Vianna watched as Ferris turned thoughtful for a couple quiet moments, apparently deciding what he wanted to eat before his smile seemed to fall, only to return a moment later but much weaker. This, in turn, made Vianna's own smile fade, wondering what had gotten that handsome smile to disappear from her husband's face, immediately not liking this. It was then that he spoke, explaining that whatever she wanted to eat was fine with him, that he didn't want it to upset her stomach. The young girl sighed softly then, realization dawning on her features. He didn't want to pick any foods that would send her running to the bathroom again. "I guess I'll just…" she trailed off for a moment, crystal blue eyes falling to the plates she'd left resting on the countertop, trying to decide what she would be having. But this was a problem; she didn't know what specifically it was that upset her stomach - was it anything she ate or just specific foods? After a couple long moments of silence, the young girl seemed to make up her mind, "I'll have soup," she decided, which was a rather odd meal for Vianna who wasn't caught eating soup that often, but it seemed like the safest bet at the moment. "And I'll make you some sandwiches," she decided for him, vaguely aware of his presence right behind her now, of his arms around her not-to-be-so-slender-for-much-longer frame.

The young girl got to work on the boy's sandwiches first, making them by hand rather than the use of magic. She'd use magic for her soup, as doing it by hand would probably take an hour or so and she didn't want to wait that long. It was then that the boy behind her spoke, softly murmuring the sympathy he felt for her though with the slightest hint of playfulness to it. The young girl chuckled just softly at this, squirming just very slightly as she always did out of instinct when his lips came in contact with her skin. She continued working on the sandwiches absentmindedly, quickly getting some bread and ham and cheese and other things she knew the boy liked in his sandwiches, though she seemed to lose a bit of concentration as his lips continued playing with her neck, kissing the girl in a way that was making it difficult for her to ignore, to concentrate on the sandwiches she was supposed to be making. "Professorrr…" she complained softly the way she often did when he was distracting her, though she didn't seem bothered by his loving gestures, and a couple amused giggles escaped her lips. "I'm not going to get anything done at this rate, and just so you know - it's going to be your fault, Professor," she accused playfully, an amused smile still curving her rosy lips.

Ferris was vaguely aware that Vianna was now doing something with her hands, assuming that she was making a couple little sandwiches for him as she'd announced moments before along with the idea that she could have soup. But his main concentration was on making her feel loved, on washing away any unpleasant feeling that she may have felt throughout that day. His lips continued to find her neck gently, sweetly, giving a couple soft chuckles as Vianna let out a couple giggles which she often did whenever his lips found her nicely tanned skin.

It was then, after a few sweet moments of this, that Vianna gave out a complaint of 'Professorrr', something that only got his amusement to heighten and his kisses to continue unphased. "Yes?" he replied innocently as though he was just standing there rather than planting kisses to her skin softly. He listened as she informed him that she wasn't going to get anything done at that rate, and that it was going to be all his fault. But he could tell that she wasn't honestly angry with him, or upset by his distraction, could tell by the way her lips turned up into a smile that she was more amused than anything. "Who says you have to get anything done?" he grumbled playfully, flashing a bit of a grin as he let the arms around her waist slip down the sides of her own slightly smaller arms. He made his way down them until his hands were over her own and he'd allowed her to gently drop whatever she was holding onto at that moment. "Maybe..." he suggested softly to her ear, the slightest bit of amusement to his playful tone. "You should just let go of the thought of a sandwich for a second and instead...concentrate on your Professor..." he suggested with a bit of a grin, starting to place warm kisses to her neck once more, as he'd stopped for just a moment as his arms slipped over her own, stopping her sandwich-making.

Vianna gave a soft chuckle to herself as Ferris asked who said she had to get anything done, as if the idea of it was ridiculous. "I do," the young girl replied, "because I would like us to have something to take with us outside when we set up our campfire," she explained, almost as if talking to a child, though she knew all the explanations in the world weren't going to get her husband to stop his teasing kisses, that this battle was lost the second his lips met her skin. It was then that he stopped, though, and his hands came to meet her own, making the girl let go of the slice of bread she was holding on her right hand and the knife she'd been holding with her left, which she'd been using to spread butter over the bread. At this, the girl's brows furrowed slightly. Now she really wasn't going to get anything done! The girl said nothing yet, though, and instead listened as the boy spoke once more, suggesting that perhaps she should let go of the thought of a sandwich for a second and concentrate on her Professor instead. At this, Vianna gave a soft chuckle. "Oh, really? Well, my Prof--" she stopped abruptly as his lips suddenly met her neck once again, causing her to squirm on instinct once more, growing a little distracted by this wonderful sensation, by how loving his kisses were, and how they made her feel almost like she could float, like she was on a cloud, on top of the world. And it was extraordinarily difficult to think straight now, or to make a coherent thought. How could she, when his lips were treating her skin so lovingly and wonderfully?
And when the girl couldn't really take his teases and warm kisses anymore, she slipped her hands from his own and turned around, unexpectedly and rather eagerly placing her lips upon the boy's, as he'd lost her neck when she'd turned around. But she couldn't just let him kiss her like that without returning the gesture! He was addicting, and she found it incredibly difficult to hold her urges whenever he treated her like that, kissed her like that on her neck.

Ferris's amusement only seemed to grow as Vianna attempted to speak but only found herself cut off at the feel of his lips on her neck, something that he couldn't help but love. He took this as the okay to continue, his lips showing little mercy as he took the opportunity to lovingly wash away any bad feeling she might've had throughout the day. But this was his Vianna, his favourite person on the planet, and he hated to see her upset about anything, let alone feeling ill about something she couldn't help nor stop. He was just catching stride when she very suddenly let her hands slip away from his own as she turned around in her spot within his arms. His brows furrowed at this, hardly registering what had happened until her lips were placed onto his own in a manner that immediately inspired a sort of passion from the young man.

Ferris let his hands, which had been resting on the counter, slip around her now-slender waist, pulling her into his broad chest as he returned the kiss as lovingly as he could. But this wasn't only about making her feel loved, making her feel better; not anymore. Yes, that was definitely still a part of it, but there was also a huge portion of the young man that was fueled by the mere feel of her lips on his own, loving her so close to himself. But it'd felt like ages since he'd last been able to kiss her like this, last been able to let himself let go in the way that always ended up happening when their lips met.

Vianna was pleased with her husband's response, her own lips treating his own eagerly, but still very, very lovingly and sweetly. There was passion in this kiss, yes, but for the most part the girl just filled it with love and endearment, the love she felt for him, the endearment he caused in her. He was perfect, amazing, and everything she could have ever asked for in a husband. He cared for her, took care of her, worried about her, and never for a second was ever anything less than loving to her; and for this, the girl was extremely grateful. She felt incredibly lucky at that moment, luckier than she had felt in a very, very long time. But as much as Fervi loved each other, they could grow distracted at times; they grew busy with work and their families and the bookstore and though they were always happy to be together, they could sometimes forget just how much they truly valued having the other person in their lives, and this was one of those special times that reminded the girl just how lucky she was to be with him, how happy and grateful she had felt on their wedding day three years ago.

Eventually, a few long moments later, the young girl pulled back. Her crystal blue eyes fluttered open and the warmest of smiles adorned her lightly tanned face, a bit of a daze on her expression. "Do you think, Mr. Montgomery, I could finish those sandwiches and that soup now?" she asked teasingly, giving a soft chuckle and pecking his lips gently, lovingly. She was just about to turn and get back to the food when she realized… well, she wanted to kiss him again. She couldn't help it, though, he had addicting lips! So she did just that, pecking his lips one more time, longer than necessary, before turning around and officially getting back to the sandwiches she'd been making.

Ferris too was feeling a sort of sweetness to this kiss that he hadn't expected, a sort of realization that brought him back to an extraordinarily happy feeling. But sometimes, with all of their crazy work schedules and their many commitments, he sort of lost sight of just how much he loved and needed Vianna's presence at his side. Of course, he never forgot it, but he didn't always fully realize just how great he had it to have a girl like Vianna. She was beautiful in any way you could look at the word; she literally was gorgeous, with her blue eyes and her tan skin, so soft to the touch that he sometimes couldn't find the strength to pull himself away from her. But she was beautiful on the inside too; this bright little gem no matter what happened, no matter what was going on, so sweet and funny and smart, always making him laugh. It was revelations like this that only intensified their kiss, making it even harder for him to ever let her go.

But finally after a few long moments, she broke apart from him, asking if he thought that she could finish making their snacks, a question that didn't seem to register to him. He was completely dazed, his lips craving her own shamelessly as he let his brown eyes fall to the source of his trance; those lips. Before he could even register that he needed to say something in return, she'd pecked his lips, only fueling the fire as he returned the gesture lovingly for the moment it lasted. He was left with a rather mind-fogging desire to kiss her once more as they broke apart, this need thankfully met as she pecked his lips once more, allowing his happiness to return momentarily.

Before he knew it, she was already turned back around, starting to make the food again, and he knew that they'd never get anywhere if he kept kissing her; plus, she probably wouldn't appreciate it very much. He let out a soft sigh, brows furrowed slightly as he tried his best to stay away from those addictive lips, looking as though this was a serious, physically straining effort. "I'm..." he started to her ear, his lips trying to refrain from going anywhere near that beautifully golden skin of hers. "...going to head outside...before I kiss you again...." he grumbled softly, almost defeatedly as he very reluctantly forced himself to release that waist and head outside for some much needed fresh air.

Vianna was unaware of how difficult a task it was for her husband not to distract her with kisses again as she continued working on his sandwiches, this time a little faster than before as she couldn't help feeling like they'd lost time with their kissing, even if they weren't following a schedule or anything. That was just the way Vianna was. The young girl was momentarily just very slightly distracted as the boy spoke again, speaking close to her ear as he announced that he was going to head outside before he kissed her again, something which got the young girl to chuckle softly, endearment in her crystal blue eyes as she turned her gaze to the boy who was now releasing her. "While you're at it, would you get the campfire started?" asked Vianna. "I'll join you in five minutes," she added, flashing the young man another one of those bright, warm smiles of hers before turning back to the plates before her and finishing up the boy's sandwiches, then taking a moment to scan her memory for that one spell Costa had given her long ago, the one that would result in the soup the girl would be having for a late lunch/early dinner that afternoon.

Ferris let out a soft groan as he heard Vianna ask if he would get the campfire started, informing him that she'd join him in five minutes before flashing him one of the smiles that seemed to make him melt right on the spot, right in the doorway of the kitchen. But it wasn't a reluctant groan, it wasn't as though he didn't want to start the fire. It was nothing like that. Rather, it was very clear that this groan was filled with a sort of longing, the sound someone made when they saw the thing they so desperately wanted but knew not to get. Her smile inspired that reaction with him, and that was why he let out that groan, his brown eyes watching her with a bit of longing behind them. "You're not making this any easier for me, gem," he grumbled to her as he trudged out of the room, starting outside and beginning to set up a pile of firewood on the beach.

OOC: I'm off for now Deeee Deruperssss! I'm super sleepy again! I hope that you are too and I'm not ditching you right when you're just getting started or anything like that! But I'll be back tomorrow night, of course! Byyyyeeeee Deeeeeeee!

ooc: Byeee Ruthers! It's okay don't worry about it.

Once she was all done preparing Ferris's sandwiches and conjuring up her warm soup, Vianna got the plate and the bowl to hover before her as she carried the glasses of cold water in her hands, making her way out of the house five minutes since she'd last seen her husband, just as promised. Fluffy and the bunnies followed the girl, though they stopped by the back porch once the girl made her way down to the ground covered in green grass, which slowly lessened as sand began to take over, and soon enough she was by the shore of the ocean decorating the view from their little house. It looked quite nice that afternoon, as it was nearing sunset and so the sun was lowered in the horizon, almost meeting the salty waters of the ocean. The girl greeted the boy standing by the fire with a kiss on the cheek before proceeding to sit beside him, the plates hovering into place as she did so. She took her bowl of soup and set it on her lap, furrowing her brows slightly, a little hesitant about eating this as she wasn't sure how her body would be reacting to it, but hunger overpowered that fear; she hadn't had anything since breakfast, after all, and NoName seemed to have kicked that out of her system anyway, so the girl was pretty much left running on empty.
