Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor

Ferris watched as Vianna's blue eyes met his brown ones through the reflection in the mirror, still gently holding her hair even though she was now past the actual sickness. He watched with sympathy behind his gaze, brows furrowed as a slight frown fell onto his pale features, watching her expression with a bit of worry. Luckily for the couple, Ferris, having been brought up in a small town with lots of children and everyone knowing each other, had seen a few pregnancies develop due to the fact that his mother hung around with lots of the other women in town. He'd grown up with them all practically in his house nearly all day, he'd wake up and at least one of his mother's friends was in his kitchen, talking with the redheaded woman. The young man had mainly seen Nathan's mother's pregnancy develop, as she was over a lot of the time and he was able to hear lots of their talks about the different stages of pregnancy. Though at the time this seemed like the last thing he would ever want to hear, he was now appreciative of whatever he could recall.

Ferris's heart seemed to shatter right then and there as Vianna almost pleaded, asking that he assure her that it wouldn't be like this for the next nine months. He hated this more than he'd realized he would. He hated the fact that she was obviously so upset with the idea of continuing on with this nausea, and the mere sound of her pleading tone nearly made him melt with heaviness from her comments. "Aw, gem," he murmured in a soft sigh, gently slipping his lanky arms around her from behind, gently pulling her into his chest, still watching her in the mirror. Though he didn't remember every little detail about his mother's talks with some of the women of the town, he did remember vaguely the talks about morning sickness, how technically it wasn't supposed to last forever. "I'm pretty sure that the nausea isn't supposed to last that long," he promised her softly, keeping her close to himself as he kissed her cheek very gently, wanting to keep her right there with him as though this would prevent any nausea from making its way back to him. "We can ask my mum, or yours, but if I remember correctly it's all something about your body getting used to the different hormones," he mumbled softly to her ear, brows still permanently furrowed. "I-I'm not sure though, we should probably look it up," he suggested after, not wanting to tell her somethign that might not happen.
