Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (4) four, the first three threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna gave the boy at her side a sympathetic look as he told her he understood plenty. But it was then that Mrs. Montgomery's voice ran through the air, reminding Ferris that he had to be changing. Vianna gave a small, slightly amused smile before the boy at her side took her hand and led her over to the room he was staying at, then beginning to search through his bag and change while he spoke. Vianna sat down on the edge of Jack's bed and watched the boy before her quietly, listening as he spoke. "Aw, Professor... Just... you'll see, I'm sure that after tonight things will have cleared up, you just... have to go through with it. And listen to what your parents have to say, give 'em a chance to explain."

Ferris began to button up his shirt as he listened to Vianna explain that he just needed to listen to what his parents had to say, to give them a chance, and she was sure things would clear up. He let out a sigh, "I don't know if I want to listen to them," he admitted rather bitterly, though his brown eyes didn't seem annoyed but rather concerned, even freaked out a little. He continued to button his white dress shirt, though only got halfway up before he was distracted by his thoughts once more. "I dunno, I just don't want my mum going back to a guy that screwed her over like that, you know?"

Vianna sighed but gave a faintly amused smile as Ferris mentioned he wasn't sure if he wanted to listen to his parents, somewhat amused by the boy's stubbornness though for the most part it worried her. She listened as he went on to add that he didn't want his mother going back to a guy that screwed her over, and she nodded her head understandingly. "I know, Professor," she said, getting up to her feet and walking over to the boy, then beginning to button up the rest of his shirt. "I also understand you really don't want to do this, but I know your mother would appreciate it if you got ready some time today," she added a little more playfully, raising her eyebrows at the boy once she was finished. "C'mon, Professor. It won't be that bad."

Ferris let out a small sigh as Vianna came over to him and buttoned the rest of his shirt for him, explaining that she understood that he didn't want to do this, but that his mother would've liked him to be ready some time that day. He gave a weak smile at the way she raised her eyebrows at him, listening as she added that it wouldn't be that bad. "How do you know Vi?" he asked, his brown eyes softening slightly as he slipped his arms around her waist, keeping her snug to him. "Just because you've got those big blue eyes and those pretty lips of yours doesn't mean that I'm going to believe you."

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris told her he wasn't going to believe her, despite her big blue eyes and pretty lips. "And just because you have that soft curly hair and those adorable dimples on your cheeks doesn't mean that I'm going to look at the situation the way you do, Mr. Negativity," she replied, her tones playful as a smile adorned her lips for a moment before it faded and she turned a little more serious. "I don't know for a fact that it won't be that bad, but I don't know for a fact that it will be horrible. So I'm going to hope that it will better rather than worse," she explained to him.

Ferris's smile widened as Vianna mentioned that she wasn't going to think negatively just because of his soft curly hair and adorable dimples, a comment which, of course, got his dimples to appear once more. It was then that she spoke a little more seriously, reminding him that she didn't know for a fact that it wouldn't be that bad, but she didn't know for a fact that it would be horrible either, so she decided to hope that it'd be better rather than worse. He watched her with slight disbelief in his brown eyes, a warm smile on his face, "And this is why I love you. You keep me sane," he reminded her, pecking Vianna's lips softly.

Vianna's smile returned as Ferris spoke, sharing with her that this was why he loved her; because she kept him sane. Her blue eyes sparkled at this, flattered and endeared before his lips met her own in a peck kiss the young girl returned for the brief second it lasted. She watched the boy before her quietly for a moment and sighed. She didn't want him to go; she knew it wasn't fair, but she really didn't want to share him, especially now that they only had a few hours together. With these thoughts in mind, she wrapped her arms around him in a gentle hug, her head resting on his chest. "I'm going to miss you," she said, as if it was now that he was leaving for a week, rather than a couple hours.

Ferris watched as the girl before him let out a small, sweet sigh before suddenly embracing him in a very gentle, warm hug. Though he was a little surprised by the gesture, the boy quickly returned the hug, keeping her close to himself as he heard her say that she was going to miss him. His smile fell at this and he remembered that in just a few hours he'd be gone for a whole week. "I'm going to miss you too, Vi," he promised, bringing up one hand to gently stroke her hair, placing a kiss on her forehead.

DING DONG. The loud doorbell rang through the large home, signalling his father's arrival and making the boy's stomach drop. "FERRIS! Get down here!" came his mother's voice sharply from the first level of the home.

"I-I don't want to leave you yet..." the boy murmured, pulling back just slightly so he could see the girl.

"FER! NOW!" came his mother's voice once more.

Vianna was momentarily lost in that little world she and Ferris kept, that world where it was just the two of them and no one else - until the doorbell rang throughout the house and Mrs. Montgomery's voice echoed through the air, startling the girl. Vianna gave a bit of a jump and looked up as Ferris spoke, sharing that he didn't want to leave her yet. "Me neither, Professor," she replied with a sigh, before Mrs. Montgomery's voice came again. Vianna's forehead creased slightly and, reluctantly, she let go of the boy before her. "I'll see you in a couple hours?"

Ferris gave a soft sigh as Vianna admitted that she didn't want him to leave either, watching her forehead crease as she then asked if she'd see him in a couple hours. "The second we're done I'll be back here," he promised, his brows slightly furrowed as he released her. "You and me, I promise, it'll just be us and no one else," he promised her, giving them both something to look forward to before pecking her lips gently and darting out of the room reluctantly. Down the stairs he went, out the front door, and on a two hour dinner date with his parents.

Vianna gave a faint smile as Ferris told her that the second dinner was over, he would be back here, that it would be just the two of them and no one else. She nodded her head and returned the peck kiss he placed on her lips before watching him go. She sighed as the boy disappeared from sight, and took a couple moments for herself before heading out of the room and downstairs where her brothers and their friends had gathered, in search of a distraction to help her pass time for the next couple hours.

Ferris and his mother returned home around 9:30 that night, his mother looking fairly pleased and the boy looking fairly irritated. They walked into the home, after being greeted by Costa of course, and found a good deal of the Vincenzi family and their friends all around the home still. Both gave a faint smile at the sight, though Ferris's was much smaller and mainly because he saw his girlfriend in the mix of all this. They came in unnoticed for the most part and his mother gave him a kiss on the forehead goodnight before heading upstairs. Ferris, however, recognized his girlfriend (who had most of her back to him) not too far away and snuck up behind her, slipping his lanky arms around her waist without really thinking about who else was around. "Hi there," the boy said to her ear with a warm smile, pulling her back a little bit out of the group.

The house was rather crowded that night; most of Vince's and Victor's friends were still hanging around, and Luca along with some other of the Vincenzi cousins had come over. The large group was gathered in the living room, speaking in hushed Italian voices, and every once in a while someone would exclaim something with amazement in their tone. There was something small and black with a brightly lit screen laying on the coffee table around which the group had gathered. Apparently, someone had found a cellphone; and the Vincenzis and their friends, being mostly purebloods who didn't know much about the muggle world, found this to be the most fascinating of treasures. And they giggled like little kids whenever a voice would come through the speakerphone saying, "Hello? Hello?!"

Vianna gave a bit of a startled jump as she felt someone's arms around her waist, and she was just about to shove whoever it was off when an all too familiar voice spoke in her ear. The young girl turned around sharply, blue eyes surprised and the warmest and most joyous of smiles beginning to light up her face. "Professor!" She wrapped her arms around him in a hug, as if she hadn't seen him in years, squeezing him tightly for a moment before pulling back and leaning on her toes to place a kiss on his lips. "You're back!" she announced, like the boy didn't know he was back. "I missed you... did everything go well?" she asked, now taking one of his hands into her own and leading him away from the living room and to the foyer.

Ferris gave a warm smile as Vianna turned around in his arms, giving him a tight hug and announcing that he was back, asking how it had gone and admitting that she'd miseed him. He let out a soft chuckle, "I missed you too, Vi," he said, returning the soft peck she'd placed on his lips and following her over to the foyer. "It went....Okay, I guess," he said with a shrug and a small sigh, obviously tired of the subject. "Let's not...Would it be okay if we didn't talk about my dad right now?" he asked softly, his expression a little tired. "It'll just get me all worked up and I just want to focus on you," he said, his expression changing to one of more admiration, his eyes scanning the girl as though he hadn't seen her in months.

Vianna nodded her head understandingly as Ferris asked her that they not speak about his father, as he only wanted to focus on her at the moment. She chuckled softly at this, but made no objections. "I'm glad you're back. I'm guessing you're probably not hungry, then?" she asked. "Too full to share a bag of marshmallows with me?" she added with a bit of a grin.

"No, I'm not really hungry," the boy admitted as she asked, listening as she then asked if he was too full to share a bag of marshmallows with her. He grinned at the question, "I'm never too full for that," Ferris responded, pecking her lips lovingly for a moment. "Where did you want to go to eat these marshmallows?" he asked with an amused smile. It was then that he caught the sound of giggling and peeked back into the living room to see all of the Vincenzis and their friends huddled around something. His brows furrowed, "What's going on in there?"

Vianna's grin widened as Ferris told her he was never too full to share marshmallows with her, before then asking where she wanted to go eat these marshmallows. The young girl shrugged, not really having thought about this. "Anywhere's fine. We can go head out to the beach, if you want, or we can go somewhere upstairs," she suggested with a shrug, beginning to lead the way over to the kitchen with Ferris's hand still in hers. She stopped, though, as the boy asked what was going on in the living room. Vianna glanced in the direction of the group and her eyebrows rose slightly. "Oh! Luca found something in town today, we think it's muggle-made. It works like the one you've got at home - a phone - but it's a lot smaller, and it doesn't have a cord!" she explained with a grin. "We were trying to figure out how it works, but so far we've only figured out what the green button does," she finished with brows slightly furrowed as she thought about this complex subject.

Ferris listened as Vianna explained that Luca had found something in town that day that they figured was muggle made, describing it to be a smaller phone-like thing with no chord that they just hadn't figured out yet. His eyebrows rose, very familiar with many muggle objects, and so the boy immediately knew what she was talking about. "You found a cell phone?" he asked with an amused smile, watching as Vianna's brow furrowed adorably.

"A what?" Vianna turned to Ferris and blinked. "I-- I guess. I wouldn't go as far as calling it a cell, but it's definitely a phone," she said, clearly not getting it that 'cellphone' was the actual name of the object her family and friends were currently so fascinated with. She was quiet for a moment before asking, "Do you wanna see it?"

Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna said she wouldn't go as far as to call it a cell but that it was definitely a phone. She was so cute. He watched her admiringly for a moment before she then asked if he wanted to see it. "Yeah sure," he said with a small smile. He followed her over to the object curiously, unsure if they were talking about the same thing but it sure sounded like a cell phone.

Smiling, Vianna led the boy at her side over to the large group gathered in the living room, bringing him over to the coffee table on which, as he had assumed, a cellphone lay. Vince was kneeling down by the table speaking to the phone in Italian, but it seemed whatever he was saying the person on the other line wasn't taking seriously as he kept getting hang-ups. After the last hang up, the phone began to ring and vibrate on the wooden surface of the table, causing the witches and wizards around it to jump, startled by the sudden noise. "Che cosa è che fa?!" asked Mrs. Vincenzi, her brows furrowed.

"Non so! Che cosa dovrebbe noi fa?!" said a confused Mr. Vincenzi, not really sure what to do now that this object was deafening them all with its loud sound.

"What the blo--" Vince took the phone into his hands and began to press any and all the buttons he could find, but nothing made the noise stop. Annoyed, he set it back on the table and placed a large and heavy pillow on top of it, muffling the sound. "There, problem solved."

Ferris gave a small smile at the sight of the cell phone, "Yeah, that--" he was cut off as it began to ring and everyone around him jumped. He watched with amusement in his dark brown eyes as Vince simply took the phone, pressed all the buttons, and then just threw it under a pillow. "It's a phone. A telephone," the boy said calmly, releasing Vianna's hand in order to reach under the pillow and grab the phone. Though he'd never owned such a contraption, many of his friends had had such devices and so he was fairly familiar with it. He picked it up and put it to his ear with a slightly amused smile. "Hello?" he spoke, and on the other line was lots of speaking, asking where an 'Elizabeth' was. "I'm afraid her phone's been lost and we've found it. I apologize sincerely and hopefully Elizabeth will get a new cell phone soon."

The group turned their gaze upon Ferris as he spoke, explaining that the object they were all freaking about was a telephone. "It doesn't look like one," said Vince, brows slightly furrowed as he watched Ferris take the phone into his hands. "Aren't phones supposed to be bigger? And have cords?" But before he could continued throwing more questions out there, Ferris began to talk to the person on the other line, and the rest of the group exchanged puzzled looks.

"Non capisco," muttered Luca, shaking his head slightly.

Vianna watched Ferris as he spoke into the phone and blinked, her expression as puzzled as everyone else's. "I don't get it. How does it work if there's no cord? And where does the sound come from?" she asked. "It's like magic!"

"Don't be ridiculous, Vi, it's a muggle object, it can't have magic," said Vince rolling his eyes.

Vianna threw him a glare. "I know that, twit!" she shot at him. Vince replied in Italian, and a second later the two siblings had gone at it as they usually did before Mrs. Vincenzi broke the argument off by scolding both kids at once.

Ferris hung up the cell phone and turned to Vianna as she asked a number of questions about the chord and where the sound came from. Before he could answer these questions, Vince had spoken and the Vianna snapped back and they fell into a bickering fight until Mrs. Vincenzi broke them up. "Uh..W-Well, I don't know everything about them," the boy said, suddenly feeling all eyes on him. "But I know a couple things...It doesn't need a chord because it gets a signal from certain companies and things like that...It runs on being charged...You plug it in, I believe." He gave a weak smile before continuing, "A-And the sound comes from the person you're talking to, on another phone..."

The group gathered in the living room listened as Ferris explained how the phone worked, though only a very small amount of the people there understood what he said, since not all of them were bilingual. "Told you it wasn't magic," Vince muttered once the boy had finished speaking. Vianna gave him a glare.

"Vince!" Mrs. Vincenzi shot her son a warning look.

"Ah, well... that's still quite fascinating," said Mr. Vincenzi, who looked like he was still clearly confused about how exactly this strange object worked. "Clever people, those Muggles." He paused for a moment, his gaze on the phone. "What do we do with it, then?"

"Sto tenendolo!" Luca replied, though he wasn't supposed to know English. But by the tone of Mr. Vincenzi's voice, he could understand what was being asked. He then took the cellphone from Ferris's hand and wandered off with it, quickly followed by some of the younger members of the group who wanted to keep the phone as well, as if it was some type of souvenir that was difficult to acquire.

Vianna watched them go and shook her head slightly before turning back to Ferris. "C'mon, let's go get those marshmallows," she said, leading the boy over to the kitchen.
