As Vianna asked if his mother would be alright if she walked in to find her in here, "I think she'd understand...as long as I'm getting ready," he said, still unable to muster up more than a weak smile. He grabbed his wand off the bedside table and quickly made his girlfriend visible once more, so happy to see those blue eyes staring back at him. "I missed you," he admitted, leaning forward and pecking her lips softly just because he really wanted to.

Vianna nodded her head as Ferris explained his mother would understand, as long as he was getting ready. She gave the boy a small, warm smile once she was visible again and returned the kiss he placed on her lips, somewhat amused as he told her he missed her, as if she hadn't been there all along. She let out a sigh as they pulled away and took a couple seconds to examine the boy before her before speaking again, "I'll be back in fifteen seconds," she told him, leaning on her toes to place a quick kiss on his cheek.

Ferris gave a nod and a small smile as Vianna told him she'd be back in fifteen seconds, and let out a small sigh as he watched her leave. He stood up from the bed, running a hand through his hair as he wandered over to his bag in the corner of the room. He pulled out a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, and turned to the bathroom which was a good few feet away. Moments later, he decided it wasn't worth it to walk those few steps, his mind clouded with thoughts of the upcoming day and decided to change right there by his bed. He took off his shirt and pajama pants to reveal green, argyle boxers as he began to change into his bright yellow t-shirt and jeans, completely forgetting about Vianna's return as his mind focused on other things.

Luckily for Vianna, even though most of her family seemed to be awake already, obviously waiting to give the Montgomerys a proper goodbye, all of them were downstairs and no one saw her walking out of the boys' guest room. She quickly made her way over to her room and searched through drawers until she found the one handheld mirror she had been looking for. She actually took double the time she had originally planned - thirty seconds instead of fifteen, but that was still a pretty short amount of time. She very quietly made her way down the hall in light, feathery steps and then snuck back into Ferris's room. "I'm ba--aaah-- ohhh, I'm sorry!" Well, now! No one had warned her she was about to walk into this scene! Flustered beyond repair, Vianna's face turned the brightest shade of pink as she turned, not sure what to do with herself. She turned right, in the direction Jack's bed, then turned left, not really sure what she was trying to do or where she was trying to go. "Should I wait for you in the bathroom?" she asked after a moment of pretty much walking in circles, addressing the wall beside her rather than the boy a number of feet away.

Kayla woke up a bit later then usual, because usually she awoke sooner. She lay in her bed for a little bit, but soon decided to just get up. She got ready quickly - quickly for her, anyway. It still took a while. She had a shower and she put on a some skinny jeans and a pink shirt. She preferred dresses, but it was still girly. Eventually she was ready and she left her room, walking downstairs.

Most of the Vincenzis were gathered in the kitchen, chit-chatting and having quick breakfast snacks. It was then that Mrs. Vincenzi caught sight of Kayla walking down to the foyer, and a smile lit up her face. "Kayla, dear! Come, come, you must be starving!" she said, gesturing for the girl to join them in the kitchen.

"Well, well, well, look what the cat coughed up," said a rather sleepy-looking Vince as Kayla appeared in the scene, always the one to say something. Never trust Vince to keep his mouth shut for a second.

Mrs. Vincenzi slapped her younger son's arm disapprovingly. "That is no way to greet our guests, Vincent!" she snapped at him before the little house-elf Costa came up to the young blonde girl and muttered a 'good morning' in Italian as she handed her a plate with a sandwich on it.

Ferris, who was more concentrated on his thoughts of leaving than the upcoming day, was completely startled as he heard the door open, jumping with a soft, "Oh!" It was then that he remembered that his girlfriend was returning to his room, and he mentally smacked his forehead for completely blanking out and not realizing this. He watched with wide brown eyes as she walked in circles basically, apologizing and asking if she should wait in the bathroom for him. "N-No, it's okay," he said with a weak chuckle, his heart rate coming back to normal as he took in the situation. He was wearing boxers, he was covered! It's not like he was naked or anything, then they'd have a traumatizing case on their hands...."You've seen me in swim trunks before, there's no difference, I swear," he said with a soft chuckle, amusement now filling his features. He paused for a moment, simply standing there in his argyle boxers, and he gave another weak smile. "You don't have to look at the wall, Vi..." he said, starting to put on his jeans.

Vianna nodded her head slightly as Ferris told her it was okay, she didn't have to go to the bathroom. Her gaze was now on the mirror she was holding in her hands, using it as a distraction; her blue eyes widened, though, at the sight of her tomato-red face. Oh great! Now she'd never hear the end of it. The young girl tried to think of happier thoughts to get the blush off her face when Ferris spoke again, reminding her that she'd seen him in swimming trunks before and there was no difference. "You've seen me in a bikini before, it doesn't mean I should be walking around in my underwear!" Vianna replied, brows furrowed slightly. She was still reluctant to turn until the boy told her she didn't have to look at the wall, and she waited for a few seconds until she was sure he had his jeans on before turning to face him, though her face was still pink. "Any more surprises you'd like to warn me about, Professor?" she asked before taking a seat on Jack's bed as she waited for the boy to finish dressing.

Kayla looked at Mrs. Vincenzi and she gave her a warm smile as she said that she should eat because she must be starving. She was beginning to get hungry. It was then that she heard Vince and she was about to reply, but his mother did first. "Yes Vince, manners." She said, smirking at him. Costa came over to Kayla with a sandwich and she smiled. "Thanks," she said politely, taking the sandwich.

Vince merely rolled his eyes; Victor was somewhere in the background chuckling softly at the scene. "So I hear there's a big match today," started the boy casually as he took a sip from his warm coffee. "Is that true?" he asked, raising a dark eyebrow slightly at Kayla. He couldn't help but find this childish rivalry between Vince and Kayla rather amusing, and the sound of a no-rules Quidditch match definitely sounded like something he planned to be a part of. Though which team he'd join, he didn't know yet.

Ferris was slightly taken aback as he heard Vianna mention that he'd seen her in a bikini before but that didn't mean she should start walking around in her underwear. His eyebrows rose, catching traces of bitterness in her tone. But it was when she finally turned around, cheeks pink (which he found adorable, momentarily) to ask if there were anymore surprises that he wanted to warn her about, that he had to wonder if she was angry with him. "I-I...No," he said with a weak, unsure smile. Was she really mad at him? "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to just...be undressed when you walked in, I promise...I just...I wasn't thinking I guess...." he murmured, quickly doing up his belt with slightly furrowed brows. Did she think that he meant to be half naked when she came back in!? Oh no, what if she did?! It was an accident! Oh how dumb could one guy get?....He couldn't help but think all of these things as his own cheeks filled with warmth, turning pink as he quickly threw on his shirt. And now he had to leave in just a few minutes and the last memory she'd have of her boyfriend for a whole week was what a weirdo, half-dressed creep he was!

Kayla chuckled when Victor mentioned her and Vince's match. "Yes, it's true." She said. "Who's team are you on, as I assume you're playing." Kayla said, looking at him curiously. "I mean, I know Vince is your brother and everything, but if you want to win.." She smirked.

Vianna listened as Ferris began to stutter out his explanations, telling the girl that he hadn't meant to be undressed when she walked in, that he just hadn't been thinking. A faint smile curved the corners of her lips slightly as she shook her head. "No, it's not your fault. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have gone off on you like that," she said with a sigh; the very last thing she wanted to do during her last minutes with the boy was to be upset over something as silly as this. "I guess I just... I got flustered, I didn't know how to act," she said with a sigh, getting up to her bare feet. She looked up at the boy before her quietly for a moment, examining the light pink shade that began to creep its way over his cheeks, and she couldn't help her smile from widening at the sight of it. "I love you. Dressed or undressed," she said, chuckling softly to herself at how bad that sounded before she leaned on her toes and placed a kiss on the boy's lips, that melancholy feeling from earlier returning unwelcomed.

Victor rose both eyebrows this time. "Oh, so if I want to win I should join your team, is that what you're saying, Chosen?" he asked, amusement in his crystal blue eyes. "I don't know, Kay, blood is a very important thing in this family, I think..." He trailed off and glanced over at his younger brother who had a triumphant grin on his face. "I think I'm going to make an exception this time and join your team. Sorry, Vince."

Vince's grin faded and his jaw dropped. "What?!"

Ferris turned his brown eyes back to the girl sitting on the bed as she told him it wasn't his fault, apologizing and mentioning that she shouldn't have gone off on him like that. He gave a weak, understanding smile at this, listening as she explained that she'd just gotten flustered and didn't know how to act. "It's okay...I was kind of flustered too..That's probably the most natural reaction to have in a situation like that," he said with a small smile, his anxiety lessening as their atmosphere returned to its normal state. Okay, good, she didn't think he was a major creep trying to show off his argyle underpants. He watched as she stood up, telling him that she loved him, dressed or undressed. The boy let out a chuckle at the word choice, also amused by how strange that sounded, and gave a warm smile as she stood on her toes to kiss him. Completely endeared by the height difference, he returned the kiss gently and lovingly as he slipped his arms around her, though he too was feeling the melancholy tone to this kiss.

"That's exactly what I'm saying, Vincenzi." She replied with a smile. "Yes, I suppose. It's your choice." Kayla said, and then Victor said he'd make any exception and join her team. She flashed him a grin. "I knew you'd make the right decision." Kayla gave Vince a not-so-innocent smile.

With mirror still in hand, Vianna wrapped her arms around the tall boy's waist in a hug as she kissed him, suddenly feeling more reluctant than ever to let him go. She didn't like this, she didn't like it at all, and she felt like the melancholy and the whole sadness of the situation overall only got worse with each passing second. She knew she'd still be able to see his face, hear his voice, but it wasn't the same. And she knew it would only be seven days, and they'd be back together soon enough, but again, it simply wasn't the same. She didn't know what to do with her time anymore, she had become so used to having his presence around all the time, to hearing his sweet compliments and feeling his curly hair. And the more she thought about these things, the worse it got. It wasn't fair that he had to go now, it wasn't fair that he'd have to go ever. After a couple long moments, the young girl pulled away from the kiss and her saddened blue eyes fluttered open, no longer cheery and sparkling as they usually were after a kiss. They seemed tortured, and horribly desperate to keep the unavoidable future from happening.

Vince's jaw was practically on the floor now. "Traitor!" he accused of his older brother. What kind of family was this, that siblings chose the enemy over their own family members?! Or at least that's the way the overdramatic Vince saw it. He was quiet for a couple moments before then crossing his arms stubbornly. "Fine. Alright. Whatever, you two be on the same little team, I don't care. You're losing and you're going to regret ever agreeing to this match," he decided confidently, stubbornly.

Ferris couldn't deny that these same thoughts were crossing his own mind. This was all becoming far too real for him, this idea of leaving. He became increasingly aware that in just a few minutes he'd be out the door, on his way to travel thousands of miles away from the only person that he wanted to see day after day. His everything, his girlfriend, his beautiful gem would be hours away. He wouldn't be able to touch her or kiss her; he'd only be able to talk with her and hear her voice but that was hardly the same. It didn't count, it didn't work, it wasn't what he wanted. How was he supposed to live seven whole days without holding her hand or kissing those lips?

As they broke apart, his brown eyes fluttered open to see what could've been the most heartbreaking sight his gaze had ever rested on before. "Oh..." the boy let out in a weak, almost wounded breath, as though this expression on his girlfriend's face had stabed him in the stomach. But his brown eyes were just the same, tortured, saddened, completely unprepared to leave her.

"FERRIS! You have five minutes!" came his mother's voice, but he didn't move a muscle, his brown eyes still locked on Vianna.

Kayla couldn't help but let out a small laugh first at Vince's expression, then when he called Victor a traitor. It was amusing to her. "Fine," she agreed, but unlike Vince, she said it cheerfully. "I think you'll regret it when you lose."

Vianna seemed not to have heard Mrs. Montgomery's voice somewhere outside warning the boy that he only had five minutes left to get ready. Her mind wasn't on that, it wasn't even on the present; it was on the future, on the upcoming Ferris-less week. She really didn't want to go through this, she hated the idea of it, and it took her a couple long moments to snap out of it, to return to reality. "I... All you have to do is say my name into it," said Vianna, pulling her arms back from around the boy's waist and handing him the mirror she had brought. "I have another one exactly like it, I'll keep it with me every second of the day; so... if you ever want to talk, I'll be there," she told him, trying to give the boy a small smile but failing miserably at it. She simply didn't have the strength for it, but she gave it another try, well-aware that she couldn't have Ferris's last memory of her for the next seven days be a sad-looking emo Vianna. Her lips curved slightly into a smile, though it was vacant and dull, not the type of cheery smile that usually graced the girl's features.


"'Lose'?" Vince repeated, raising his eyebrows at Kayla. "'Lose'?! Don't be absurd, Kay. I couldn't lose even if I tried. And you can definitely count on me not trying during this match. My team's going to make dog's meat out of yours," the boy said confidently, not a doubt in his mind that he would win this match.

Victor merely rolled his eyes; he was used to this kind of talk from his brother. "Yeah, sure, Vince," he said dully before busying himself with refilling his cup of coffee.

Ferris watched as Vianna pulled her arms back to reveal a mirror, explaining that he just had to say her name into it in order to reach her; that she'd have the other on her at all times of the day so she'd be there if he ever wanted to talk. It was then that she attempted a smile, only managing to get it into a dull, lifeless smile on her pretty face. His heart broke all over again at the sight. "I'll have it on me at every second, whenever you want to talk to me, I'll be there," he promised Vianna, trying to give her a weak smile and put on a brave face. But he couldn't do that, couldn't handle it or manage it. Finally he just set the mirror down on the bed and wrapped his arms around the girl, pulling her into his chest in a warm hug. "Seven days. You'll be on my mind every second," he promised softly to her ear.

Vianna nodded her head slightly, understandingly, as Ferris assured her that he would have the mirror on him at every second, and that whnever she wanted to talk to him, he'd be there. She sighed softly as the boy tried to give her a smile, her saddened gaze turning a little more sympathetic before he set the mirror on the bed and pulled the girl into a hug. Vianna was quick to return the gesture, wrapping her own arms around him tightly as he promised she'd be on his mind every second. "And you'll be on mine, Professor," she replied softly, blue eyes shutting tight for a couple moments as the hug lasted, before fluttering open again. If she didn't let go now, she might just let her emotions get the best of her, and the last thing she wanted was for Ferris to see her looking even more depressed or worse yet, crying. "C'mon, your mum's waiting, and I heard my parents somewhere downstairs, so they're probably waiting to wish you guys a safe trip too," she said as she pulled back, her voice a bit weak as she tried to sound, perhaps not cheery, but at least normal.

Ferris pulled away from the hug with a weak smile, the only thing he could muster at the moment, and listened as she suggested they go downstairs as their parents were waiting. He watched her for a moment before nodding, "Yeah, alright..." he said, trying to give her another smile but it came out more like a grimace. He grabbed his bag, which he'd magically packed the night before and put the mirror in there before taking Vianna's hand with his free one. He led her out of the room, through the hallway, and down the stairs with saddened silence upon them. His mother was waiting with the others, standing on the outskirts of the crowd as she waited for her son. "There you are! The ministry's already outside, are you ready?" she asked as the couple descended the stairs.

"Uh...Yeah, could you just give us a couple minutes, please?" he requested softly, and his mother nodded and turned away.

There was a bit of chaos in the kitchen as the couple walked down the stairs and the group of loud, boisterous Italians caught sight of them. They were just about to stampede out to the foyer where the Montgomerys were before Ferris requested a couple minutes. Abruptly, the other Vincenzis turned quiet and took a couple slow steps back. Vianna turned away from the crowd and to the boy at her side, her gaze a mix of curiosity, melancholy, and loving as it fell upon the boy.

Ferris gave a weak attempt at a smile as Vianna's family and friends stopped dead in their tracks when he asked for a couple minutes. He wanted to say goodbye to her without any rush; he wanted at least that. He turned to Vianna with a small, not really happy, smile and studied her expression with a soft sigh. "I guess this is goodbye," he murmured softly to her, now taking both of her hands into his own as he faced her with saddened brown eyes. No, he didn't like this. He didn't like this one bit.

Vianna returned Ferris's small smile, rather vacant but it was the best she could do in a situation like this. As he spoke, mentioning this was goodbye, the girl nodded her head slightly, reluctantly, and let out a sigh. "It's... see you later," she corrected with another small, weak smile. "In just seven days," she added, the grip of her small hands around his tightening a bit on instinct, but almost encouragingly as well.
