OOC: Byyyeeeeee Deeee Debbieee Deruperrssss!

From the small exchange, the observant boy at Vianna's side could very easily sense how much her brothers' presence meant to his fiancee. And as she asked if he wanted to tell the guests or help set up the campfire he immediately said, "I'll go tell everyone, you can set up the campfire with everyone here." And by everyone here, he obviously meant her brothers. Ferris leaned foward and kissed Vianna's cheek lovingly before releasing her hand with a soft smile and heading up back towards the house in order to inform everyone of the campfire outside, assuring them that they could come join if they wanted to.

Vianna smiled and nodded her head slightly as Ferris decided he would go tell their guests about the campfire while she helped set it up with the others already out here. And once the boy was gone, the group got to that, taking only a few minutes to set up a very large, roaring fire strong enough to warm up a fairly large group. They sat a short way away from the flames warming up the chilly English night, conversing as they waited for the others to arrive. And it wasn't long after Ferris had announced the campfire, that Margaret and Elliot were almost basically running out the back door, soon joining the other small group outside, and soon after them, other people began to leave the house and move over to the shore instead.

Ferris returned about ten minutes later, following the rest of the crowd down towards the shoreline with an absentminded smile on his pale face at the sight of the campfire. As he neared it, his brown eyes scanned the various logs set up for seating to see where Vianna and the others had wandered off to. And it wasn't much longer until he spotted his fiancee sitting a short way from the flames with the others, and his smile widened slightly as he neared her. "Room for another?" he asked, his smile slightly lopsided, as it always was, as he stood before her with his hands in his pockets.

Vianna looked up as Ferris came to stand before her, asking if there was room for another. Instinctually, she beamed up at the sight of him, and she nodded her head in response. "Of course, Professor," she replied softly, scooting over a bit so the boy could have the spot next to her. Once he was seated beside her, she leaned over and greeted him with a kiss on the cheek, then pulling back with the brightest of smiles. "Do we have marshmallows, Professor?" she asked, her brows beginning to furrow just very slightly.

Ferris gave a bit of a grin as Vianna assured him that there was room for him, scooting over as he took the seat at her side, and planting a sweet kiss to his cheek. He admired her for a moment, taking in her soft features, before she asked if they had any marshmallows. "Oh, yeah, Mum got some this morning," he assured her, and as if on cue his mother was running down the shoreline carrying about five bags of marshmallows, grin on her freckled face.

"I have marshmallows!" she yelled to the large group as she arrived, tossing them out to the crowd. One left over, she passed by Fervi and tossed it into Ferris's lap with a teasing grin before walking to the other side of the fire and taking a seat next to her husband. In the next moment, Ferris's parents were all sparkly-eyed and before anyone could see it coming, they were exchanging kisses. Right there!

"OH-KAY!" Ferris immediately said, a disturbed grimace on his face as he quickly opened the bag of marshmallows and threw one over the fire at his parents, successfully getting their lips away from the each other. "That's quite enough! We don't need any of that!"

Vianna grinned as Mrs. Montgomery arrived with the marshmallows, handing out bags to everyone in the group. She was just about to open the bag when she caught sight of -- Mr. and Mrs. M kissing?! The Vincenzi and Giordano kids nearly fell over at the sight, all looking rather flustered and uneasy, but it wasn't everyday they got front row seats to watch someone else's parents kiss. "Aw man... I'll never be able to look at Mrs. M the same way again," muttered Vince, looking like a little kid who'd just walked in on his parents, even though Mr. and Mrs. M were quite obviously not his parents.

Beside him, Giuliana tried her best not to laugh. She didn't seem as disturbed as she seemed amused. "Vi, you didn't mention anything about this on the letter," she said, turning to Vianna with raised eyebrows, as if this was part of the evening's plans and Vianna should've warned them about it; though obviously the girl was just teasing.

"Wha'... I didn't know!" said Vianna, not catching the teasing tone on her cousin's voice before Ferris began to scold his parents, which got an amused smile to curve her lips, though she remained focused on the bag of marshmallows in her hands. It suddenly seemed like the most interesting thing in the planet to her.

"It's your mother's fault," Mr. Montgomery immediately defended to his son from across the fire, his eyebrows raised slightly as though to say 'It happened without my knowledge'. Mrs. Montgomery's jaw dropped and she gave her husband a slap on the arm, though there was obvious amusement in her expression.

"I don't care whose fault it is, we're definitely not having that!" Ferris replied, his expression looking as though he'd just been mentally scarred for the rest of his young life. "I think a few lives have been marred by the sight of you two being irresponsible," he grumbled, sounding very much like a parent rather than the child of the two who seemed oblivious to others. But they really hadn't been that bad, it was just a couple peck kisses, the Montgomerys weren't too keen on scarring any young lives. But still. They were old. And it was weird.

Vianna and the other Vincenzis were quiet as Ferris and his parents exchanged words, obviously still a little flustered and weirded out by this. Instead, they distracted themselves sending marshmallows over to the fire and roasting them. "It's really okay, Professor, don't worry about it," Vianna muttered quietly, turning to the boy at her side who'd just finished scolding his parents. "I think we'll all survive that," she said jokingly, giving a soft chuckle in a small attempt to lighten up the mood.

OOC: Wha'?! *looks around like a crazy lady* Ehh!? *glances up at my join date* OH! Ohhhh......OHH! I guess I am!

Ferris gave a soft sigh and a shake of his head, his brown eyes scanning the large crowd that had now gathered around the campfire; it would've appeared that nearly everyone from the house had come out to join them. He was distracted from this as Vianna assured him that he shouldn't worry about his parents' behaviour, that they'd all survive it. "You might, but I don't think I will," he grumbled, seeming to remember that Vianna was at his side as he'd been a bit distracted. He gently slipped his arm around her waist, pulling her into him as he buried his face into her neck with a soft chuckle.

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris mentioned that he might not be able to survive what they had just witnessed, smiling faintly as he pulled her closer and buried his face into her neck, the breath from his chuckles tickling her neck slightly. "I know something that'll cheer you up," said Vianna suddenly, "Something we haven't had in months!" she added, summoning back the marshmallow she'd been roasting in the fire. "C'mon, Professor, if you look up I can give you this large, tasty, golden marshmallow!" she added, giving a light amused giggle.

Ferris smiled to himself as Vianna mentioned something that would cheer him up, listening as she explained it was something they hadn't had in months. Slightly curious, he finally looked up just after her description of a large, tasty marshmallow, something he couldn't resist as he rested his gaze on it. "Why thank you gem," he said with a grin, gently taking the marshmallow from her and popping it into his mouth. Wow. He hadn't tasted that in a while...Far too long! Why hadn't they gotten any marshmallows for an entire year?! He loved them! They both did...They must've gone crazy. "Mmmm...I missed these," he admitted, finishing off his first. The taste itself just brought back a number of memories from their first weeks together, the number of bags they'd gone through in such a small amount of time. The campfire, the marshmallows...the girl at his side. It just all brought back a warm feeling and he gently pulled Vianna closer, pressing a loving kiss to her cheek.

"You're welcome, Professor," Vianna replied, watching as the boy at her side took the marshmallow she was offering him. She smiled warmly at the sight of him, and her smile widened as he pulled her closer and awarded her a kiss on the cheek. "I guess that must mean you liked it," said the girl with a soft chuckle before taking out a couple more marshmallows from the bag she'd set on her lap and sending them off to hover in the flames of the fire before them with a wave of her wand.

"I love it," the boy confirmed with a soft chuckle, his brown eyes admiring the girl as she sent a couple more marshmallows off to the fire. He then let his gaze fall to the crowd around them, listening to the buzz of everyone talking, meeting, getting to know one another. It was rather strange to see his home town's populations getting to meet some of the Vincenzis...but it was nice. It was almost rather amusing as well; they were all so different. Ferris let out a soft sigh, keeping Vianna close to himself as his gaze fell back to her, admiring her. "Are you happy, gem?" he asked her softly, after a few long moments of analyzing her.

Vianna grinned as the boy at her side confirmed that he'd liked the marshmallow she just made for him. She returned her attention to the fire and the marshmallows she was roasting then, her mind wandering off for a bit as she turned to her brothers and cousins for a moment before Ferris spoke, asking her if she was happy. Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly at the question, but she nodded her head. "Very," she replied, and the smile lighting up her features showed just how happy she truly was. "What about you, Professor?" she asked him.

Ferris couldn't help but give a warm smile as Vianna immediately let a bright smile fill her tan features as she told him she was very happy, asking if he was. He thought for a moment, his warm smile widening just slightly, "Yeah, I really am," he admitted softly, his hand on her waist absentmindedly stroking her side as he admired the sight of her. "We've got a pretty good set up here," he added with a soft chuckle, referring to both the people they'd surrounded themselves with and the house that they'd just acquired.

Vianna beamed as Ferris confirmed to her that he was happy too, before then going on to mention that they had a good set up here. The young girl chuckled softly and nodded her head, her blue-eyed gaze wandering back over to the small house in the distance before turning back to the boy at her side. "I really can't wait until april fifteenth," she informed him after a moment's silence, her blue eyes sparkling just at the thought of it. But she was soon startled by a very bright flash of light hitting her right in the face, causing her to go blind for a couple seconds there. She turned to the culprit then, only to find her cousin Alessandro standing there with a large camera in his hands, apparently just having taken a picture of them. "Wha'... what're you doing?" asked the girl, blinking as her blue eyes were still seeing lights from that blinding flash.

"Sorry, Vi. Aunt Veronica and Uncle Vittorio told me to take pictures of you guys," explained the boy, flashing his younger cousin an apologetic smile. "Do you think after you're done with your marshmallows you could go and pose by the house? Aunt Ver was very specific of how she wanted these shots; y'know, to put them up back at the house," he said.

Vianna sighed, why did her parents find it necessary to fill up every single empty space in the house with pictures of her and her brothers?! Her gaze wandered off to her parents, who were sitting on the other side of the fire conversing with a couple of other people who had come from Ferris's hometown, all adults around their same age. "Fine..." muttered Vianna. "If you don't mind, that is," she added, turning to Ferris then. But she didn't want to make him do anything he didn't want.

Ferris's dark brown eyes were just beginning to sparkle as Vianna informed him that she couldn't wait for April fifteenth, something that got his smile to widen much more. "Me eit--" he cut off as a blinding light suddenly filled his line of sight and he grimaced slightly, not having prepared himself for it, and turned with a bit of a confused expression only to see Alessandro standing there with a large camera in his hands. Brows slightly furrowed, though he attempted to keep a polite smile on his face, Ferris listened as the girl at his side asked the boy of his intentions only to find that her parents wanted pictures of them. His eyebrows rose slightly at this, and he gave a faint smile as Vianna sighed and finally agreed before turning to him to make sure he was alright with it. "Yeah, sure," he immediately agreed with a friendly smile to Alessandro. "I don't mind." Not that he was exactly thrilled with the idea of getting pictures taken (as he always turned out looking fairly awkward and pale), he wouldn't deny her parents that if they really wanted it. Besides, Vianna would probably liven up any picture enough that people wouldn't even have to look at him. Which was what the boy preferred.

Alessandro grinned as the couple agreed to getting their pictures taken once they were done with their marshmallows, rather relieved by it. But the boy couldn't really deny his aunt and uncle a favour when they asked him for one, so he was glad he wasn't making anyone uncomfortable with it. And luckily for Fervi, Giuliana and Luca called the boy over then, demanding to have their pictures taken as well. Vianna watched her cousin go and give the other two a short session of pictures before turning back to Ferris with a soft chuckle, shaking her head slightly. "Anyway..." she smiled at him. "Are you excited for the fifteenth too, Prof--" Another flash. Vianna blinked, completely blind for a couple long seconds. "Wha'... Alessandro! I thought you said after we were done with our marshmallows!" said the girl, turning to her cousin, who had returned, with furrowed brows and a disapproving gaze.

"Sorry Vi, Giuliana wanted to take a picture with you guys," said the boy. Vianna raised an eyebrow slightly, momentarily confused before turning, only to find Giuliana knelt down behind the couple, apparently having been there posing and smiling for a while there waiting to get her picture taken with Fervi.

"Oh I'm sorry! You don't mind, do you?" said Giuliana.

"Hey, hey! Wait a minute!" said Vince suddenly, turning to the small group taking pictures. "What do you lot think you're doing, taking pictures without me?!" he asked, as if this was the most offensive thing anyone could ever do to him. But Vince was a conceited one, and he quite loved having his picture taken and showing off his pearly whites; and just a moment later, he had come to sit right in front of Fervi, smiling bright and waiting for his picture to be taken.

"Vince, I can't see the others with you in front," said Alessandro. Giuliana's jaw dropped as her cousin came out of nowhere and blocked them all out of the picture with his presence, and she climbed over the log Fervi were sitting on, pushing Vince aside and taking his place. "Gi, now you're blocking them..." said Alessandro with a sigh.

Ferris was just getting back into his conversation with Vianna, convinced that Alessandro had gone off to take pictures of someone else, until there was another sudden flash of bright light, signifying yet another picture directed to Fervi. Ow. Blinking a couple times with a bit of a grimace, the boy looked up to find Alessandro in front of them yet again with a camera pointed at them, giving the excuse that Giuliana wanted a picture with them. He turned to see that Giuliana was right behind them, all ready and posing for the picture they'd just taken. And before he could fully register this, Vince was complaining about his absence in the picture, and immediately took the seat right in front of them. Ferris gave a soft chuckle at this, and before he knew what happened, Giuliana had switched places with him, now blocking everyone else. The boy looked over at Vianna through this chaos, exchanging a small amused smile with her before turning back to the camera with a brief sigh. He'd go wherever they put him. But since his arm had been pulled away from Vianna in the midst, he gently snuck his hand over to her and intwined their fingers.

Vianna gave an 'ow!' as Vince was shoved over to her when Giuliana pushed the boy out of the way, before her brother indignantly decided to move aside a bit so he wasn't completely blocking his little sister out of the picture. Vianna turned to Ferris as she felt his hand meet her own, and she gave the boy a small warm smile, mouthing a 'sorry!' before there was another flash, her older cousin taking more pictures of the small group that had gathered. But even though the pictures were supposed to be mostly of Fervi, Vince and Giuliana were the ones to pose and smile the most, Fervi were usually caught off-guard. And after a few more photos, it wasn't long until more people decided they wanted their pictures taken as well, and Fervi found themselves surrounded by more crazy Italian cousins and other family friends. After a few more shots, Alessandro suddenly announced, "Oh, no... looks like the camera died," he announced. "I think we've used up all the film," he said, only to create a wave of 'awww's to erupt from the disappointed crowd as they began to disperse and return to their seats. Once they were all gone and Ferris and Vianna were left alone again, Alessadro returned his attention to them, "Let's wait a bit until everyone's distracted and then we'll take those pictures by the house, alright?" said the boy, flashing them a smile and a wink before disappearing from sight.

Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly and she chuckled softly, just then realizing that her cousin had lied and they hadn't really used up all the film, that'd just said that to get the crowd to calm down and let the couple be. After all, Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi had asked for pictures of the couple, not everyone attending the campfire.

Ferris gave a bit of a shrug as Vianna mouthed a 'sorry' across the two people in their way, a small smile still on his face. But for the next few minutes of picture-taking, the young man was hardly prepared for the number of flashes that came his way. He attempted to smile, but was mostly caught off guard and was barely aware of the number of other people getting into all of the pictures. And he couldn't help but be grateful as Alessandro announced the end to this photoshoot, informing them all that they'd run out of film. Letting out a sigh as everyone dispersed, Ferris looked over to see that Vianna was now a good two or three feet away from him and he gave a soft chuckle. Before he could say anything to the girl, Alessandro had explained that they'd do their own little photoshoot when the rest had quieted down and forgotten about the pictures. He let out a hearty chuckle at this, far too amused that Alessandro would make something like that up, but it was genius. "Alright, that sounds good," he said with a brief nod before turning to Vianna. "Get over here," he grumbled with an amused smile.

Vianna turned to Ferris as the boy asked her to come over to him, and she gave him a small smile before scooting over back to his side, the bag of marshmallows she'd been trying to save from being crushed these past few minutes held tightly in her hands. "Looks like we're finally back to normal," she said with a soft chuckle, summoning back the marshmallows she'd left roasting in the fire, handing one of them to Ferris as she took a bite from the other.

Ferris's smile widened as Vianna scooted over to him, exposing the bag of marshmallows she'd guarded so carefully throughout the chaos. "Look at you, little miss marshmallow-protector," the boy joked with a warm smile as she came closer and summoned back the marshmallows over the fire with the comment that all appeared to be back to normal. "Looks like it to me," he agreed with a soft chuckle, his lanky arm slipping around the girl's waist as he took the roasted marshmallow with his free hand. "Thanks gem," he said with a warm smile, quickly popping it into his mouth and finishing it off just moments later. It was then that he relaxed back into the log, gently pulling Vianna even closer to himself, into his chest with a soft smile on his features. But he had been all comfortable with her before other people had gotten between them, and he wanted that back.

Vianna let out a long string of amused giggles as the boy at her side referred to her a 'miss marshmallow-protector', finishing off the rest of her marshmallow before sending another pair off to the fire. She let out a sleepy yawn then, smiling warmly as the boy pulled her into his chest, her blue eyes roaming over their surroundings, over all of the people sitting around them chatting, eating marshmallows, and having a good time. It felt so great, so wonderful to have them all here, in the same place, at the same time, after a whole year of separation. And after talking with them, the girl had come to realize just how much had changed over this past year, how much she'd missed out, though she was glad to be updated now.

Ferris couldn't help but smile as Vianna let out a sleepy yawn as he pulled her closer, finding the act to be rather contagious as he too let out a yawn just moments later. But it'd been a long day. He let his brown eyes roam over the crowd as well, though they always returned to rest on Vianna, admiring her blue eyes as she leaned against him. He was really lucky to have her. It was almost surreal to think back to that time when he was fighting with her brothers just to be her boyfriend and now they were engaged to be married. He leaned forward and let his lips rest on her forehead, planting a sweet kiss there for a moment.
