This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, the other thread reached posting limit. From the previous thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

A sheepish smile slowly grew more and more on Ferris's face as Vianna started reminding him of the few times he had distracted her; when she tried to read or eat breakfast...The boy grinned as though remembering a particularly good memory, and let out a soft chuckle before returning to reality and giving her an innocent smile. "See...But you like it when I distract you," he reminded her softly, gently swaying with her in the water as he spoke. "I never shove you into pond water."

Vianna chuckled softly at Ferris's thoughtful expression before he snapped back to reality and reminded her that she liked it when he distracted her, that he didn't shove her into pond water. The girl listened quietly and her smile faded, that look of pure mischief and amusement quickly replaced by worry and a creased forehead. Now that he mentioned it like that, shoving people into water wasn't exactly the kindest most gentle way to distract someone, whereas distracting them from breakfast or from reading a book was really completely harmless. "I'm sorry," she muttered, her gaze leaving his to look guiltily at the water instead, suddenly feeling rather ashamed.

Ferris's own smile slowly started fading as Vianna's did, analyzing her expression with slightly furrowed eyebrows. Uh oh...Had he made her feel guilty? His question was answered when she muttered an apology before turning her eyes to the water. He watched her for a moment before responding, "Don't be," he said before ducking a bit so he could reach her lips which were facing the pond, and brought her face back up gently as he gave her a sweet kiss. He broke apart a moment later, "I like it," he confessed, half because he wanted to make her feel better, but also because he had to admit that her mischievous antics always amused him.

Okay, Ruthers!

Vianna's crystal blue eyes went from guilty to surprised as Ferris's lips suddenly met hers, just after the boy had told her not to be sorry. Her eyes closed for the short but sweet moment that their kiss lasted, and fluttered back open when he pulled away, telling her that he actually liked her mischief. The girl smiled at this, beaming in that childlike way she so often did. "I'm glad," she told him. Her sparkling eyes watched the boy admiringly for a moment before slipping away from his grip and taking a couple of steps back. "I guess this means it's okay for me to continue causing mischief, then!" she said with a mischievous smile before splashing the boy and quickly turning away, disappearing under the water.

Ferris grinned down at her, once more at his normal height, as the girl before him seemed to be pleased knowing that her tauntings didn't upset him as much as he pretended they did. But just as he was getting back into his relaxed mode, Vianna stepped away from him and mentioned that she would now be able to cause more mischief knowing that he didn't mind it. Before he could stop her, she had splashed him and disappeared under the water. He scowled playfully before diving under the water and swimming after her.

Vianna resurfaced a few yards away, wiping the water off her face and pulling her long brown hair back. She looked around the pond but saw no sign of Ferris, so her eyes immediately moved to the water, searching for a pale fish beneath. She soon caught sight of him and grinned, moving as quickly as water would allow in the opposite direction from him, nearing the shore.

Ferris watched from beneath the water as Vianna got to her feet before starting off in another direction, and popped his head up from the water for a quick breath of air before starting after her. Just a few strokes behind her, the boy was able to grab one of her ankles and pull her back as gently as he could towards him. Though still, it was a little rough as his intention was to get the allstar swimmer to stop swimming which required a bit of strength. He pulled her back to him and latched onto her waist beneath the water, holding her to himself as he placed a kiss to her cheek with a laugh that made bubbles rise to the surface of the water. He could see the girl very clearly, stopping for a moment to watch her long brown hair drift in the water, a slight smile on his face.

Vianna usually swam with her eyes closed, only opening them every now and then to check that her path was clear (especially in salty water), but as something got a hold of her ankle, the girl's eyes opened large and wide, immediately assuming the worst. Some giant, evil octopus had caught her (she was too horrified to realize there were no octopi in ponds). But as she was pulled back and Ferris's pale skin came to sight, Vianna's heart took a break from trying to break through her chest, and instead relief washed over her. As he placed a kiss on her cheek, Vianna giggled, which caused her to lose the bit of air she was still holding. She quickly returned the boy's kiss, placing one on his own cheek, before making her way back up to the surface and catching her breath.

Ferris beamed as she giggled from his kiss before placing one on his own cheek, and he followed after her to the surface as his own supply of air was beginning to run short. He let out a light gasp as he reached open air, a smile still on his face as he looked over to Vianna. He let out a soft chuckle, running a hand through his curls which weren't as curly now as they had been straightened a tad by the water exposure. "You're a very mischievous girl, my gem," he told her as he took her hands beneath the water.

Vianna turned to Ferris as he resurfaced and she chuckled softly as he stated the fact that she was very mischievous girl. "Thank you, I do try," she replied jokingly, as if this was a great effort she was making. But the chuckles soon died down and there was only a smile left on her face as she looked up at the boy before her, examining his features with almost sparkling eyes for a few moments before abruptly snapping out of her trance. She shook her head very slightly to herself and asked, "Would you like to head out for a bit?"

Ferris let out a light laugh as Vianna jokingly informed him that she tried very hard to keep up her mischievous ways. "I don't believe that. You're a natural talent at being mischievous," he contradicted with a grin. It was then that they fell into a small comfortable silence, his brown eyes inspecting her features for a moment before she spoke, asking if he wanted to head out of the water. "Yeah, sure. Maybe we'll get a couple marshmallows before Fluffy eats them all." He let out a laugh before holding onto one of her hands and heading out of the pond over to the grassy area.

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris suggested they get some marshmallows before her precious squirrel ate them all, and she nodded her head in agreement, then following the boy's lead out of the water and over to the green grass. Fluffy was laying down beside the bag of marshmallows Vianna had given him, his large, round belly facing up and his tiny arms stretched out. Apparently, devouring half the bag of marshmallows had worn him out. Vianna's jaw dropped and she sat down near the squirrel, looking at it with wide eyes for a moment before speaking in a tone that almost sounded like she was conducting a funeral. "This is bad, Professor... I'm really starting to worry about Fluffy. He eats so much and he barely exercises! My squirrel... my precious squirrel is suffering from obesity!" she went on dramatically, her forehead creasing.

Ferris had just caught sight of a baby squirrel with a large stomach laying down by a marshmallow bag when Vianna had already dashed to Fluffy's side. The boy's eyes widened at the look of poor Fluffy who had probably just eaten twice his weight in marshmallows. That couldn't be good. He turned his eyes to his girlfriend who was obviously horrified by this, listening as she told him she was starting to worry about her pet as he ate so much and exercised so little. His eyebrows rose as she then added that her little pet was suffering from obesity. Could squirrels even be obese? Well...looking at Fluffy it wasn't that hard to believe. "It's okay Vi," he reassured her on instinct, quietly taking a seat in front of her and Fluffy, "We'll just have to take him to the park more...With less marshmallows. Have him run around more, y'know?"

Vianna listened to as Ferris told her they would have to take Fluffy to the park more often and feed him less marshmallows, her eyes still glued on the fat little squirrel. She nodded her head slightly. "You're right," she said quietly. But how was she supposed to deny Fluffy the marshmallows he wanted? He was a great little squirrel, he deserved everything and anything he wanted (or at least that's the way Vianna saw it, she didn't realize that her squirrel was actually a spoiled little brat). She remained silent for a few moments, merely staring at Fluffy before her eyes widened slightly and she looked up at Ferris. "I've got an idea - we'll replace Fluffy's addiction to marshmallows for something more... appropriate. For squirrel food! Like nuts and things like that. I don't think Fluffy's ever even eaten anything like that," she said, feeling a little more positive now that she had an idea of how to control Fluffy's diet.

Ferris's eyebrows rose as the girl before him suddenly came up with the idea of switching Fluffy's marshmallow intake with something more like squirrel food, like nuts. Apprehensive but still wanting to make Vianna feel better he gave a small shrug, "Do you think he's really going to be happy to trade sugary marshmallows for nuts?" he asked tentatively. Though, the squirrel had never really tried a nut that they knew of...But then again, he had been living in Ferris's backyard for a while before he was captured...Who knows what he had tried?

Vianna's brows furrowed slightly as Ferris spoke and she turned thoughtful for a moment, her gaze returning to her fat little squirrel who was trying to sit up now, but his belly was too large and he was forced to return to laying on his back. "Well, it should be in his nature to like nuts, I mean... he's a squirrel," she muttered thoughtfully. "Either way, I'm going to give it a try and see how it goes. I really don't want Fluffy to be an unhealthy squirrel... and eating like this can't possibly be good for his scar," she added, a bit more worriedly now.

Ferris gave a brief nod as Vianna mentioned that Fluffy should like nuts, since it was a squirrel's nature, but Fluffy had always seemed a little more special to Ferris. Most squirrels didn't eat marshmallows, Fluffy wasn't most squirrels. But he wasn't going to mention this to the girl as she told him she would have to just try it out, mentioning how eating like this couldn't be good for his scar. The boy looked up from the grass his eyes had wandered to at this, as he had nearly forgotten about the slightly faded scar that resided on the creature's expanding little belly. Ferris reached out a finger and gently stroked the faded line, rubbing the little squirrel's tummy in an almost soothing manner, "Poor little guy."

Vianna remained silent for the next minute, merely watching her squirrel close its dark eyes as Ferris rubbed his fat little belly. "You know what else might help encourage Fluffy to exercise more?" she asked suddenly, her mind obviously still on this issue about Fluffy's health. "A friend squirrel!" she went on with a grin. "I should get another squirrel! And then Fluffy can have a little friend to chase around and play with!" she added, almost bouncing at the idea of having another little squirrel to spoil and take care of.

Ferris looked up as Vianna spoke, listening as she shared the idea of getting another squirrel to befriend Fluffy and encourage him to exercise. The brown eyes widened at this idea, not exactly sure how he felt about this. Vianna would love another squirrel, he knew that, but....having two squirrels was just the path to getting eight squirrels. "Vianna, I don't know if that's the best idea..." he said, not wanting to disagree with her but not wanting to start a collection of squirrels. One was quite the handful already.

Vianna's forehead creased slightly at Ferris's response, it was obviously not what she was hoping to hear. "But why not?" she asked, almost pouting as her eyes left his to look down at Fluffy who gave sitting up another try and succeeded at it, his belly so large he could almost just lean his head over and use it as a pillow. "It will make Fluffy happy, I bet he gets lonely being the only squirrel around, always surrounded by a bunch of humans who don't understand him and he doesn't understand," she went on dramatically, as if her precious squirrel had suffered a terrible life.

Ferris was thinking for a moment, over all of the reasons exactly why not as she asked, when she started trying to persuade him; telling him that Fluffy must've been lonely being the only squirrel and not being able to understand people. "Okay, first of all Vi," he started with slightly raised eyebrows, "That squirrel is very much already happy. I mean, he's being handfed marshmallows nearly everyday, he gets full run of anything you'll let him get at, you give him anything he wants," he said, trying to keep his gentle tone, but not entirely succeeding. "He's spoiled enough."

Vianna's brows furrowed slightly as Ferris began listing all the many reasons why Fluffy didn't need another little squirrel friend. She couldn't disagree with the listed reasons, as she was very well aware that Fluffy always got what he wanted and she rarely ever denied him anything. However, to her, this didn't mean Fluffy was necessarily happy with his lifestyle, but it was Ferris's last words - 'he's spoiled enough' - that caused Vianna to look away from the squirrel and up at him. "Fluffy's not spoiled!" she said immediately. "I give him all the things he wants because he deserves them, he works hard for them and earns them," she added in her squirrel's defense, not really realizing that the only hard work Fluffy ever did to earn her admiration was to be born a squirrel.

Ferris tensed up just slightly as Vianna immediately turned her eyes to him, denying that her squirrel was spoiled. His brows rose even further at this, sure that she couldn't ever be denying that statement as it was practically the definition of Fluffy. The boy couldn't help but let out a soft humorless chuckle as she told him that Fluffy had earned all of the things she gave him, that he worked hard for them and deserved his spoiling. "Oh really Vi?" he said, "And how does he work for anything?"

Vianna's eyes turned a bit unfriendly, but as Ferris asked her what Fluffy had done to deserve being so spoiled, she looked away and down at the squirrel. She was silent for a moment, trying to think of some heroic feat Fluffy had performed, but nothing came to mind. But then her eyebrows rose slightly as she thought of something she believed made Fluffy deserving of all the spoiling he received. "He's smart! He-- he's really clever! Like that time he tried to tell us he wanted roasted marshmallows, remember?" said the girl. "I think being smart deserves recognition, you should know, Professor."

Ferris waited with a bit of a stone look as Vianna searched her mind for something Fluffy had done that made him deserving of all of her spoiling. Finally, she proceeded to tell him how smart Fluffy was and clever too. "Did he work hard to be smart? Did he earn the right to be clever?" he contradicted, his eyebrows raised still as his gentle undertone slipped away slightly. He listened as she added that Fluffy had told them that he wanted roasted marshmallows that one time, "Yeah. Alright, Vi, he's clever," he said in a slightly bored tone, "You spoil him like he's a wonder-pet, showering him with anything he wants, and then you wonder why he gets so bloated and acts out?" After this statement, Ferris closed his mouth, his brown eyes a little more hesitant - that one was a bit harsh.
