"Professor!" Vianna grinned as the boy came to view, standing at her side. She gave him a brief smile before returning her gaze to the crowds, searching for her two brothers. Victor came to view only a moment later, asking about their missing sibling.

The ride had made Vince rather dizzy, and when he stepped out of the fireplace, it seemed every person in the room had duplicated themselves to two. He closed his eyes shut tightly and opened them again, seeing a bit clearer now. It wasn't long until he was able to spot the two faces he knew so well. "You!" he said accusingly, turning his attention from his siblings and to Ferris. "You knew!"

"Knew what?" said Victor, but he didn't wait for a response as he began making his way out of the floo hub. "Let's get going, you guys want to rest, don't you?" he said before disappearing into the crowd. Vianna grinned at this, her mood brightening at the thought of finally seeing a bed as she followed her oldest brother.

emmafan123 09-26-2009 10:15 PM

Ferris gave Vince an amused guilty smile as he was accused of 'knowing'. He had a feeling Vince must have been talking about Ferris's knowledge of French pronunciation. "A couple years of French," he said with a shrug before following after Vianna, his mood having brightened just slightly with the mention of resting and Vince's amusing dizziness. He gazed around at the small French town, his brown eyes scanning the different people and enjoying the bright sunlight warming his pale skin.

Gryffindoll 09-26-2009 10:18 PM

Vince shot Ferris a glare but said no more, merely following the others out onto the brightly lit streets that rather blinded him at first, but his eyes soon adjusted. He and Vianna examined the small town as they followed their oldest brother; it looked a lot like any other old and small European town, but the feel to it was different. And not just because everyone else seemed to be speaking in French.

emmafan123 09-26-2009 10:25 PM

Ferris followed after Vianna, his hands in his pockets once more as he looked ahead of them, wondering where Victor would find them a place to sleep. His mind wandered to why Ned had told them to go here, which brought his mind back to Ned, which made the guilty feeling in his stomach return. He just wanted to go to bed and forget about everything for a few hours. He needed sleep more than anything, and just thinking about it made his eyes droop.

Winter Dreams 09-26-2009 10:27 PM

Jamie who had come beside Kayla upon getting there, followed after Victor happily. He wasn't exhausted, but sleeping would be nice, especially in a nice warm bed. Kayla walked behind Jamie silently, but not in a melancholy way, although she was thinking about a lot, you could still see that she was happy to be where she was. She wasn't bothered about the food like the boys very much, and it was so nice and sunny, and warm. She was still somewhat guarded, though, because they were still on the run.

Gryffindoll 09-26-2009 10:34 PM

"We've got no idea where we're going, do we?" said Vince after a moment's silence, his blue eyes squinting under the bright morning sunlight. As far as he knew, neither Vianna or Victor spoke a word of French, so he couldn't figure out how they were going to find a place to sleep or book a night somewhere.

"No idea," replied Victor with a sigh, looking around at the old buildings for anything that seemed inviting.

"Well, luckily for us, Ferris Wheel turned out to be even more French than the people living in this place," said Vince, turning his gaze upon Ferris, his eyes still accusing and his voice rather sarcastic. "Isn't that right, Wheel? Or are you just going to leave us to our own luck like before? Make yourself useful and find us somewhere to sleep - somewhere where they don't serve snails, too, please."

Winter Dreams 09-26-2009 10:41 PM

Kayla rolled her eyes at Vince. It was rather typical, really. She hoped Ferris could do that though, because although quite smart, Kayla didn't know French, and she was hungry. "Just because they do eat snails, doesn't mean that's all they eat. There's some really good food around France, too." She pointed out, smiling at the thought.

Gryffindoll 09-26-2009 10:43 PM

Vince turned his attention from Ferris to Kayla as the young girl spoke. "Oh yeah, like what?" he said, giving her an expectant look. "All I know about the french is that they don't shower and eat those slimy things," he admitted, making a face.

emmafan123 09-26-2009 10:45 PM

Ferris looked up as they admitted that they didn't know where they were going. His brows furrowed as Vince turned to him, saying it was lucky Ferris was even more French than most people in the town. "I'm only a little French," he defended quietly, his shoulders slumping as he realized he needed to be the lead for once. He had to refrain from scowling at Vince as he used sarcasm to express his distaste for when Ferris 'left them to their own luck before'. "Fine," he said, stopping and looking around the streets. His eyes narrowed in on the signs of a few buildings. "Follow me," he said, walking ahead of the group and heading down the street, looking around at the buildings. Coffee shops, restaurants, stores of various themes, but no hotel as he could see it. It was then that his eyes locked on a tall building up the block, reading the sign and nearly smiling in relief. "There," he said, pointing before heading towards the large building that had 'Hôtel' in fancy script with some French name in front of it.

Gryffindoll 09-26-2009 10:50 PM

Victor's jaw dropped - Montgomery was French all along and no one told him (clearly he hadn't read the sarcasm in his brother's voice)?! Vianna gave Vince a look and yawned, too exhausted to really scold the boy. Instead, she followed Ferris's lead to the tall building up ahead, her oldest brother at her side. "Yes! A warm, cozy bed is only a few steps away!" she cheered, following the others into the place.

Victor got a hold of Ferris's shoulder and rather brusquely shoved him ahead to the front desk. "Translate. Tell them we need a place for..." he trailed off, his brows furrowing slightly. How long could they stay in one place? "Two nights," he finished, deciding that would be the longest they could stay before moving on.

Winter Dreams 09-26-2009 10:53 PM

"Pastries, for instance. You know, croissants, éclairs, crêpes." Kayla answered, smirking slightly at the fact that the extent of Vince's knowledge on France was that they eat snails. She looked as Ferris found a hotel. She entered inside happily. Glad to almost be able to have a bed, and nice food.

Gryffindoll 09-26-2009 10:55 PM

Vince's eyebrows rose slightly as Kayla shared a list of some French pastries he was not aware of. "Those things are French?!" he said, amazement widening his crystal blue eyes. Maybe the French did have good taste in food, after all... But he still believed the people didn't shower; at least not as often as others did. The boy made a face at this thought.

emmafan123 09-26-2009 10:59 PM

Ferris stumbled slightly as he was shoved towards the front desk, unwillingly now the translator for the oldest Vincenzi. He had to keep himself from rolling his eyes as Victor instructed him on what to say before turning to the woman at the front desk, and saying, "Nous avons besoin de quelques chambres pour deux nuits, s'il vous plaît. Supprimer mon ami rude, il est grognon car il n'a pas eu beaucoup de sommeil." Which meant: We need a few rooms for two nights please. Ignore my rude friend, he's grouchy seeing as he hasn't had much sleep. The woman at the front desk gave a small giggle to which Ferris gave a weak smile, and then she responded. Ferris turned to Victor, "She says it's going to be 200 francs."

Winter Dreams 09-26-2009 11:01 PM

Kayla smirked slightly. "Yep, they're the best at making food like that." She said. Jamie who was by her now had a dreamy look thinking about such nice food. There was a slight crease in Kayla's forehead, though. "Why do you think that French don't shower, though?"

Gryffindoll 09-26-2009 11:05 PM

Victor shot Ferris a look as the woman behind the desk began giggling, but quickly dismissed it as the boy translated the cost for their stay. Victor sighed in relief, as it was exactly what he had exchanged earlier at the floo hub just before the others arrived; he wondered vaguely how much longer he could go on without visiting a bank, as his parents were tracking the siblings' accounts to find them. He handed the woman the money and waited for her to announce which would be their rooms.

"Because everyone says so," said Vince simply as Kayla asked why he thought the French didn't shower. "I mean - it makes perfect sense!" he continued, more animatedly now. "Why do you think they make so many perfumes and stuff, eh?"

Vianna furrowed her brows slightly. "Vince, you can't just go around believing everything people say!" she said, before realizing how ironic this really was. "And then you all accuse me of being the gullible one..." she muttered, crossing her arms.

emmafan123 09-26-2009 11:11 PM

The woman handed Ferris the room keys, telling him the room numbers. He thanked her before pocketing one key and shoving the others into Victor's hand. He stalked off up the stairs the woman had pointed to, sure the others were right behind him. But it didn't matter, he just needed sleep more than anything, and he wanted to see a nice warm bed waiting for him. He slipped the key into the door, swinging it open to see a nice open area with a couch, fireplace, and a couple armchairs, with three bedrooms connected to the main room by separate small hallways, each had their own bathroom. He let the door hang open for whoever was to be his roommates, not worrying about strangers or kidnappers, just that bed. Ferris chose his room, the nearest to himself, and found the bed, falling onto it and kicking his shoes off. Moments later, he found himself falling asleep.

Winter Dreams 09-26-2009 11:11 PM

Kayla raised her eyebrows at Vince, and then giggled when Vianna spoke. "Yes, Vince, that is pretty gullible, you know." She said shaking her head with an amused smile. "Because I wouldn't say that's true. Besides, French make wine, but they're not always drunk." Said Kayla, walking after the direction Ferris had to go to her room.

Gryffindoll 09-26-2009 11:20 PM

Vince rolled his eyes at the girls as they accused of being gullible. "Whatever. Wine isn't enough to make you drunk anyway," he said, ignoring his sister's looks that demanded to know just how he knew that information. But the siblings were quickly distracted from the conversation as Victor called them over, sharing that they finally had a room.

Vince and Vianna grinned, following him up the stairs and to the neighboring rooms. Vianna was just about to enter the first room, but found her path blocked by her older brother. "Sorry, Vi. Girls with girls, guys with guys," said Vince, taking a couple of steps back into the room but not letting his sister through. "Trust me, I don't like it any more than you do, but you know how Victor is."

Vianna's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. She tried her best to keep herself from kicking her brother as he spoke and headed over to the next room. "Fine!" she said before entering the new room. But her mood brightened at the sight of it; she opened Fluffy's cage and let the little squirrel out before nearly sprinting to the nearest bedroom and letting herself collapse on to the bed. It was only a matter of seconds before she was deep asleep.

Winter Dreams 09-26-2009 11:26 PM

Kayla walked in behind Vianna with a slight smirk. "You can handle being away from Ferris for a few hours, can't you?" She teased the girl, lying down casually on a couch. She frowned though, without Ferris, she'd probably have a bit of trouble getting food.

Jamie walked into the boys' room, and looked around. It was a nice room, and he went to sit down on a chair.

emmafan123 09-26-2009 11:36 PM

OOC: Should we skip to when they wake up? If not, let me know and I'll edit this to Ferris rolling over or something. lol.

Ferris managed to crawl under the covers, rather cold, and slept on for a number of hours. Instead of twelve hours as he predicted, he woke up about five hours later from a dreamless sleep due to his exhaustion. He yawned, climbing from his bed and running a hand through his curls. He wanted some food, and some coffee preferably. First, he wanted to find everyone else though, now in a bit of a better mood. He walked out into the hallway of the hotel, knocking on the door next to him, not sure if it was Vianna's or one of her brothers'. He hoped it was the first.

Gryffindoll 09-26-2009 11:50 PM

ooc: xD Skipping's good.

Vince was still snoring his life away in a different bedroom, completely oblivious to the rest of the world as he enjoyed a rather pleasant sleep. Vianna, meanwhile, had been brought back to consciousness by a hungry Fluffy who was tickling her nose with his long, fluffy tail. The young girl awoke with a sneeze, sitting up from the bed sharply as she did so. She turned to the squirrel beside her with a rather drowsy look, eyes still half-closed as she yawned. "Sorry, Fluffy... I forgot..." she muttered, not fully awake as she got off the bed and to her feet, taking the little squirrel into her hands. And just as she stepped out of the bedroom, only to find Kayla asleep on the couch, a knock came to the door. Vianna headed over to the door and opened it with another yawn, but all signs of drowsiness and sleepiness were quickly wiped off her features as her eyes met the newcomer. "Professor!" she said, grinning. An annoyed Fluffy glared up at Ferris from the girl's hands.

emmafan123 09-26-2009 11:56 PM

Ferris smiled at the sight of Vianna opening the door, turning into a larger smile as the girl grinned up at him. "Hey Vi," he said warmly, his brown eyes happier than they had been all day. "What do you say we go find some food?" he suggested before his eyes wandered to the squirrel in Vianna's hands, his brows furrowing as they stared down at the little creature's glare. "What's wrong with him?" he asked, his eyes finding Vianna once more.

Winter Dreams 09-27-2009 12:00 AM

Kayla hadn't been up for long, but she was dressed now, lying on the couch. Her hunger came back to her now, and she glanced up as the door knocked. "Hey," she said nodding in Ferris' direction. At least she might be able to get some food now. She stood up, straitening her jeans. "Morning guys."

Jamie meanwhile was still sleeping drowsily.

Gryffindoll 09-27-2009 12:01 AM

"Sounds good," Vianna replied with a smile, nodding her head. But her eyes widened slightly as Ferris mentioned her pet squirrel. "Oh, right! He's hungry," she said, petting Fluffy's little head lovingly. How could she have forgotten to feed her poor little pet, all just to take a nap... how selfish. Or at least that's what she and Fluffy thought - especially Fluffy. "Let's hope he likes French food, I have a feeling they don't serve pancakes as a meal around here," she said half-jokingly, her hand still petting the furry little creature. "Hey, Kay," greeted Vianna turning to the girl with a warm smile.

emmafan123 09-27-2009 12:04 AM

"Hey Kayla," Ferris said politely with a small nod. He let out a chuckle, "Actually, I'm afraid it's not morning yet." He took a look at his watch, "It's about six o'clock in the afternoon," he corrected before turning to look at Vianna as she explained that Fluffy was hungry. He let out a small laugh as she expressed her hope that her little pet would like French food, "I'm sure he will." He took Vianna's hand and headed out the door, giving a wave to Kayla before closing the door behind them. He walked down the hall with the girl, intwining their fingers and starting down the stairs.
