Se7en But what of the good? What is it to be virtuous? Does anyone really know what the countering seven virtues feel like? Caute, Temperantia, Animi, Lustitia, Amare, Spes and Fidem are things so rarely seen as genuine. They are special indeed, but how does anyone know if it is real or not? The people who embody these vices and virtues are magical beings. Witches and wizards growing up in the same world as any other one. The only difference is that they can make people feel they way they do all the time. They can influence people to do good...and bad. All of these people are 17. It is their last year at Hogwarts. It is also the last year that they get a free ride before they have to put their talents into effect in the real world. This is going to be a very wild year. Boys Avaritia (Greed)- DaniDiNardo Animi (Courage)- Luna Midnight Ira (Wrath)- Wisher Desiderium (Lust)- Rosa Chispa Princessa Temperantia (Temperence)- iceblossom Inertia (Sloth)- vanillasweetheart Superbia (Pride)- Lilly Moonstone Girls Invidiam (Envy)- DaniDiNardo Gula (Gluttony)- vanillasweetheart Caute (Prudence)- iceblossom22 Lustitia (Justice)- Jezebel Black Amare (Love)- Luna Midnight Spes (Hope)- Lilly Moonstone Fidem (Faith)- Wisher There isn't going to be anyone from the HP series. It WILL be based completely at Hogwarts. I need everyone who will participate in this rp to take one boy and one girl. That way we cut down on the amount of people in the rp. Less people hopefully equals more activity. :) SPOILER!!: Relationships Please do not ask for a character. Just post a bio. Faster that way. :) I will edit this and put my bios up later. Thanks. :) Lilly SPOILER!!: Hope SPOILER!!: Superbia Quote:

Yeah. We can. I shall edit this post with the beginning. We will start with the feast with everyone at the appropriate tables. :) Haupe stood at the edge of the grounds, looking out at the muggle world on the other side. It was hard for her to believe that in just a few short months she would be out there, in the muggle world. It wasn't her choice, but in May, she and her sister would graduate and be forced to take over their parent's jobs as emotions in the worlds. She wasn't sure if she was completely ready for it. Yet there she stood, about to start her seventh year in Gryffindor house. She sighed as her platinum blonde hair blew in the wind. She knew here in a bit she would have to sit with the rest of the Gryffindors and pretend like she was friends with them, when in reality most of them didn't appreciate her super sunny disposition towards most everything. Oh well. She thought as she swept her hair to the side and turned towards the castle. Walking to the gates, she saw some of her fellow seventh years. One in particular she really wanted to avoid. Desiderium. He was so incredibly gorgeous, but had such a bad rap. And as much as she wanted to avoid him, she seemed to have almost every class with him over the past 7 years. It was very hard to ignore him and his incomparable charm. Even still, she kept her head down and tried to avoid eye contact with him. She walked briskly into the main doors and turned toward the Great Hall. Coming into it always took her breath away. All the reds, golds, blues and yes, even greens look so beautiful hanging from the ceiling. She smiled to herself and took her seat in the middle of the Gryffindor table and waited for the ceremony to take place. Superbia walked confidently through the gates towards the castle. He had always had a sort of air about him that made him think highly of himself. He loved to make sure he looked amazing, and today was no different. His black hair was hung straight around his chiseled face. His ice blue eyes stood out against the dark eyeliner surrounding them. There was no doubt he was beautiful, and he knew he was. He walked with his back straight as an arrow. He was the kind of guy that girls fawned over. They were no different today. He winked at them and nodded his head towards the pretty girls that acknowledged his presence. All of them hoped one day he would pick one of them. He knew different. He loved being at Hogwarts. Especially with his brother there as well. It was always fun to tease him. Superbia knew Animi hated it, but it didn't bother him in the slightest. He liked knowing he could be an influence over other's emotions. That's what his dad said would make him so good in the muggle world; that he could make muggles feel just good about themselves or more proud than they should feel. He was VERY persuasive. He was another boy in school who had a bad rap, but he didn't care. He wasn't at school to make friends or find the woman of his dreams. He was there to perfect his craft. And that he would do. This was Superbia's seventh year in Hufflepuff, even though he didn't want that house. Either way he was going to show his house pride. After all, that's what he is best at. He walked through the entry hall with his head held high. He was a king of the school and nothing was going to bring him down. No matter what, he had always been enthralled with the hundreds of paintings and staircases in the entry hall. It was his favorite place in the castle. Sometimes when he had to think, he would sit at one of the highest staircases and just think as it swung back and forth. Tonight though, there was no time for that. He walked into the Great Hall and noticed a few people were already at his table. He took a seat a ways away from them and waited for the ceremony. |
Inertia strolled around the Hogwarts grounds for a long time, contemplating and trying to clear his head. The holidays had been long and boring, and he hadn't really come out of his room at all. He didn't like being with people much, and neither did people like to have him around. They would try to talk to him as normally as they could, but his arrogance and his constant snapping would eventually drive them away. The only person he could stand was his sister, Fi. She was the closest thing he had to a best friend, and she meant a lot to him. As Inertia realised that this would be his last year at Hogwarts and in his silly house, Hufflepuff, a funny feeling settled in the pit of his stomach. He had never enjoyed school that much, mainly because it seemed to full of people. And Hogwarts was too huge, he had to walk a lot to get to the classes. But he always seemed to enjoy the attention of girls. That was something he was used to, and he knew he was good looking. But what he couldn't figure out that night was whether he was looking forward to the end of school life, or if he was actually sad that the end was coming closer. Taking a deep breath, he made his way to the gates and hesitated a little before pushing them open. Then he walked into the magnificent Great Hall and took a seat at the Hufflepuff House Table. This would be the last time he would ever get to enjoy the Welcoming Feast and the Sorting. Suddenly, his heart felt heavier than usual. As Gula entered the Great Hall as a student of the Seventh Year at Hogwarts, she felt many different things; excited about being the senior most, happy about being back to the Castle, curious about the night's Sorting ceremony and worried about it being her final year. As she made her way to the Ravenclaw House table, she spotted a few familiar faces, and waved back to a few younger students who admired her greatly. She liked being popular, and she loved being looked up to. Taking a seat at the table, she looked around the Hall at the Gryffindor table, trying to spot her sister, Haupe. Her sister was the perfect student and an ideal daughter; she was good at everything. Gula couldn't have been more different from her.. yet, somehow, they were really close to each other. Gula trusted Haupe the most. And she knew that both of them were worried about the end of the school year, and taking up their parents' jobs the next year. Pushing these thoughts away, Gula decided to concentrate on the ceremony. She needed it to get over as soon as possible. She couldn't wait for the feast to start. There were two things in the world that she loved the most: one was fashion, and the other was food. She was really hungry, and she instinctively knew that she would end up overeating that night, too. |
Desi entered the Great Hall with a supreme air of confidence about him. He knew without even trying he was irrisistable to most young ladies. But there was one that he had yet to woo by his looks or charm. A certain blonde (Haupe) who was nice to everyone but falls for no one. He saw her beautiful face radiate from the center of the Gryffindor table. He walked over and took a seat next to her and gazed upon her staring for a moment and then snapped out of it, "Hey Haupe, hows it going.". He knew things were about to get awkward and he hoped the opening speech would come sooner rather than later. |
Caute's lips were curved into a rare smile as she stepped off the carriages that brought them to the school gates. It was her last year at school, and whether or not she believed it, they would graduate that May and she'd have to be sent into the Muggle world to carry out her duties as a virtue. Black cloak hugging her slim figure and Ravenclaw tie proudly stating her loyalties, red hair trailed behind her as she entered the Great Hall. The hall itself barely full, she smiled at those she knew at other tables before seating herself at the Ravenclaw table. Putting her bag down on the floor beside her seat, she looked around for someone to talk to. |
Vi walked up the stairs with a new strut that she had picked up over the summer. What could she say? She liked having things go her way and had spent her summer spreading a bit of envy among her neighbours--everyone wanted to be like her. That was how she liked it and she wouldn't have had it any other way. People were suppose to want to be like her; they were suppose to be willing to sell there souls for a lock of her hair. She was special after all. Glancing to the side she could see a group of young Hufflepuffs, most likely first years eagerly looking about. A crooked smirk crawled unto her face. This was her last year and she planned to have a bit of fun. Where better to start than with the easily manipulated. In a few minutes she would be seated among the other Slytherins and she couldn't wait. On the way there she had thought of many things she could have done to win their attention and she had something planned especially for anyone who tried to show her up. Attention belonged to her; all of it and there was no arguing that point. Oh...Superbia...he was always very fun to mess with...Pride went very well when it was tainted with envy. Invidiam's smile grew wider. In her last year she would have some fun with him as well. Or perhaps they could create fun together. No. That wouldn't work, he would share her spotlight, people would applaud him as well. Couldn't have that now. She didn't have to. Glancing across the room she saw him heading to the great hall. Yellow. How did such a Prideful young man get placed with silly puffs, something she had always made a sport of teasing him about. It was obvious that he belong with the snakes. They would speak later. Another year at Hogwarts! But not just any year; his last year. The last time Hogwarts would get sight of Avaritia. Of course he wouldn't simply fade into the society after he left. There was a lot to do. So much to have in his possession that sitting back and being 'regular' just never seemed to appeal to him. Maybe he would start small; take over a town, then he would have a country and before long the world would be his. His and his alone. The only thing he would share would be his emotion. The world needed to be consumed with greed or they would all become complacent. Someone bumped into him before hurrying on ahead. He sighed. Why did people enjoy taking him from his thoughts? Many times they were hard to re-trace. For the first time since he arrived here started looking around. The same sight as last year and the years before that. Excited students rushing towrards a feast. He looked forward to it. That was when he could sit among the Slytherins and indulge in all the happenings he missed over the summer. Vi would no doubt have a long tale to spin in an attempt to keep everyone's attention on her. He rolled his eyes at the thought; that girl had problems. Entering the hall he tried spotting his sister. He had lost her when they were back in the train but the crowds were thinning as students took their seats so maybe he would have at least caught a glimpse of her before he headed to his own table. Had he always wanted to be a Slytherin--from the moment he heard about Hogwarts. It was the perfect house to help him fulfil his dreams and sort out his ambitions and it had some pretty good people in it...depending on who you asked. Giving up he took a seat at his own table and waited for the festivities to begin. |

"Had a good holiday, Cate?" Gula asked, facing the girl's slim back. Caute had not turned to see her yet. |
Last year at Hogwarts! Lustita Hodges wasn't exactly joyful that her schooling years were drawing to a close, but rather eagerly anticipating a new adventure in her life - of being free! She had already been offered a place at the Ministry of Magic as a YATI, which was extremely exciting for her. She'd always wanted to be part of law enforcement, ever since she was young, just like she'd always had a thing with justice. But that didn't mean she was a good girl all the time. In first year she'd broken a boy's fingers for dipping the end of her plait in an ink pot. Lus resurfaced from the happy memories of her first year at Hogwarts to find herself at the Ravenclaw table, but instead of sitting down, she looked over to the Slytherin table. She located her twin easily as he sat down, and quickly made her way over to him. "Guess who, Av?" she teased, clapping her palms over his eyes from behind him. She knew he'd know immediately, if not by her voice then by the fact that she'd called him Av. Lus had always completely ignored the fact that her brother didn't like nicknames. |
