"Oh im not adventurous enough for ya?" Tay laughed and smiled at him, "Yeah so murderous." She jokingly rolled her eyes and smirked at him.

Tay was laying awake in bed when she heard a knock at the door. She got up and open it. "Hey Maxwell." Taylor smiled and kissed him.

Maxwell laughed. "You're almost there." He said in a sarcastic voice. "Hey, it gave me this!" He said pointing to the scar on his chin.

Maxwell smiled and kissed her in return. "Good Morning! Are you hungry?" He asked her.

"ALmost there? Great...." Tay laughed and smiled at him, "Well that scar looks cute on you." Taylor teased him and smirked.

Tay thought for a few moments, "A little." She laughed and smiled at MAxwell, "Give me a few minutes to change out of my pjs and to do my hair, ok?"

Ariana Watched while being grossed out eww get a room you two!" She Yawned "Im BOREDDD!"

Maxwell laughed a little. "Well, i didn't feel very cute when i got slapped in the face by a tree." He laughed at Ariana. "What would you like to do then?" he asked her.

"Yeah, I'll be in the Kitchen. What would you like to eat? I'll ask some of the house elves to make it for us." He said smiling.

"How can you feel cute? I mean is that a feeling?" Tay laughed and then to Ariana, "Sorry." She blushed slightly.

"Hmmm would an egg and toast be okay?" She smiled at him and leaned against the door frame.

"ohh i dunno maybe not watch you two be all gushy!" Ariana said with a slight bubble in her throat thinking about Joseph, She grabbed her bracelet and instantly felt relaxed though her heart still hurt

Maxwell laughed a little "I don't know if cute is a feeling." Then he realized why Ariana was being so odd about him and Taylor, She still missed Joseph. It had been more than a year since he or Josephine had contacted either of them and he had moved on, obviously. But is seems she hadn't. "So what do we do... We could explore the part of the house that the house elves used to live in? I haven't seen it yet." He said changing the subject.

Maxwell smiled. "We can have whatever you like." He said and kissed her cheek.

Tay giggled, "I dont think it is but you will defintely be feeling it a lot since you are cute." She smiled then to the what to do part she said, "That sounds fun." Taylor nodded.

"Ok." She smiled and shooed him out away so she can change. Tay closed the door.

Maxwell smiled and blushed just a little bit. Normally his eyes would have changed to pink but he had them under control. "Ariana, what do you think?" he asked her.

Maxwell smiled a little and went down to the kitchen to speak with the house Elves. He asked them to make Eggs, toast, orange and pumpkin juice and bacon and sausage. He thanked them for making breakfast and went to sit at the table.

Joan walked into the kitchen to see Maxwell sitting there waiting for breakfast. "Good morning, Maxie." He said and kissed his cheek. "How did Taylor like her room?" he asked him.

Maxwell smiled at his mother. "I think she loved it." He said with a smile. "She's getting dressed now. She'll be down any moment." He said giving his mother a look saying 'please don't burst out the baby pictures.'

Joan smiled. "You must really like this girl?" She said,

His eyes changed instantly pink "I really do, Mum." He said smiling.

Joan looked as if she'd seen a ghost. "Your eyes, they're just- just like your fathers... Have they been changing like that for a while?"

Maxwell smiled knowing what color they were. "Yeah they have." and he got them to change to the color of wheat.

Tay giggled at his blush then looked at Ariana, waiting to see what she would say about MAxwell's idea

Five minutes after MAxwell lefted for the kitchen, Taylor arrived in the kitchen in a dress with her hair in a braid, "Morning MAxwell, Ms. Joan." TAylor smiled at both of them.

Maxwell smiled when he heard Taylor's voice but when she saw him his mouth hung open. "Wow, You look beautiful." He said smiling. He stood up at the table and pulled out a chair for her. He was now wishing he'd gotten dressed for the day already.

Joan smiled sweetly as Taylor came down the stairs. "Hello, Dear. That's a Lovely dress." She thought for a moment and wondered if Taylor knew of Maxwell's eyes and out of curiosity how they made Taylor feel, she remembered the first time she saw Jack's eyes do the same. "Taylor, can i ask you a question? Simply out of curiosity." 'Damn my curiosity, i hope this doesn't embarrass them. She thought, but she was constantly on a quest for further knowledge even on simple things such as this.

Tay giggled at MAxwell when his mouth hung open then blushed at his compliment, "Thank you." Taylor smiled at him and then sat down lady-like in the chair he pulled out for you, "Thank you. You are very gentleman-like." Tay teased him. To his mother she said, "Thank you, Ms. Joan." She smiled, "Yeah, go right ahead and ask." Taylor was a little afarid of what the question was.

Ariana Shrugged"whatever i dont care."

Joan hesitated for a moment. "I'm sure you've noticed Maxie's eyes, This morning is the first time i've seen them. But his father's did the same thing. I was just wondering if it scared you a little the way it did me when i first saw it?" Joan asked, she had a follow-up response that wasn't so odd.

Maxwell shot his mother a look, his eyes a pale red.

Tay then glanced at MAxwell while still looking at Ariana, "Ok."

Taylor glanced down without moving her head and twirled her family crest ring. "To be honest, yes it did.... the first time i saw them was when they were red....." She trailed off.

Maxwell smiled looking at the two of them. "Shall we be off then?" He asked gesturing towards the stairs.

Joan smiled a little. "That's how Jack's were the first time i saw them, He was arguing with a teacher." She said laughing with memories of Jack fresh in her mind. "But in the end they were what won me over." She said dreamily. "He looked at me from across the Great Hall and his eyes were pink, pink for affection." She said smiling. "Like Maxie's are when he talks about you. It was a while before his eyes turned white, White is there because there is no color for love." She said with a dreamy smile.

Maxwell smiled a little about what his mother had said. He was also a little relieved that pink didn't mean Love, he knew neither of them as ready for that yet. But he felt like he loved her, in fact he had finally accepted it.

Tay nodded, "Yeah im ready." She glanced at Ariana to see what her answer was.

"I believe MAxwell's was due to something with Logan... i might be mistaken though." Tay casually shrugged. She blushed when she mentioned MAxwell talking about her and almost sighed in relief when his mother said that pink was only for affection and white is the true 'color' of love. Taylor smiled, happy that MAxwell's eyes havent turned white only pink. She had no clue what she would do if they would have turned white.

"yeah sure i guess."

Maxwell smiled. "Let's go." He began climbing the stairs toward the old House elf quarters.

Joan smiled seeing the relief in their eyes but said nothing. "It as nice, because Jack liked to pretend to be ok when he wasn't so he didn't worry me but his eyes always told me." She said smiling. "It might seem odd now, But it may make you fall for him one day." He said with a wink and left the room."Have a good day, Children." She said smiling.

Maxwell laughed a little. "That was... Awkward." He said knowing she was as relieved as he was. And with that the house elves delivered their Breakfast. Eggs, Toast, Bacon, Sausage, Orange Juice, Pumpkin Juice, Milk and fruits of all kinds. Maxwell thanked them and they vanished back to their new quarters.

Tay smiled, "Okay." She started to climb the stairs.

Taylor didnt say anything even after his mother left. She just sat mute not even looking at where the elves delievered the food but at the door that Joan left by.

"So, I'm not really sure what will be there. No one's been to that part of the house since before my Mum was born."

Maxwell sat there for a moment realizing how awkward things had become thanks to his mother. "Are you all right?" He asked feeling concerned for Taylor.

"Wow really? It will be interesting to explore then." She smiled at Maxwell.

Tay glanced back over at Maxwell, "Yeah.... I'm fine." She looked at the door where his mother left then back at him. Taylor forced a smile and twirled her family crest ring again.

Ariana followed behind Tay still thinking of joseph

Maxwell smiled. "It'll probably be dusty." He said laughing.
