Tay smiled. "You recall a lot of things." She laughed then nodded, "Yeah we have a winner." Taylor kissed him. "You go change out of it so i can pay for it, okay?"

Maxwell kissed her back. "I like to listen when you talk." He said smiling. "And you're not paying for anything, It wouldn't be very gentlemanly of me to let you." He said smiling and then went into his dressing room to change.

Tay blushed at the like to listen part then to the paying part, "Then forget to be a gentleman this once, because it isnt very polite of me to not pay for the outfit since i did invite you on very short notice."

Maxwell laughed a little from inside the fitting room. "I can't just forget being a Gentleman, it's who i am. Would you like me to forget who i am?" he asked in a joking tone.

Tay giggled, "No. I guess i dont want you to forget who you are." She smiled.

Maxwell as if on queue came out of the fitting room. "Then it's settled." He kissed her cheek and smiled, clothing in hand. "I'll pay for these and he made his way to the counter.

Tay sighed, "Fine." She pretended to hug him but slipped the money in his pocket. Taylor pulled away with a smile on her face as she went to the counter a little ahead of him.

Maxwell laughed a little seeing her take his money. "I'm from New York, you don't think i know when i'm being pick-pocketed? but if it means that much i'll let you win." He said with a smile.

Tay laughed and smiled at him. She looked at him with fake innocent, "I thought my looks would of let me win." Taylor giggled at him and smiled, slightly smirking.

Maxwell laughed. "Well, they certainty didn't hurt your chances." He said with a crooked grin.

Tay smirked and laughed, "Hmmm i think i might use them to win more then." She giggled and smiled at him.

Maxwell laughed a little. "Are you hungry yet?" He asked and checked his watch. "It's about noon." He said.

Tay thought for a moment and nodded, "Yeah a little actually." She laughed and smiled.

Maxwell smiled as the cashier rang up the outfit. "What are you in the mood for? we could get pretty much anything." He said smiling. "We could head back to the Alley if you want something more familiar?." He said.

"You pick." She smiled at him and slipped the cashier the amount of money that the outfit cost.

Maxwell smiled. "I'm thinking either Chinese or there's a place a few blocks from here that serves American food." Maxwell said with a grin, he didn't care which place they went.

"Either one is fine by me." She smiled. Tay didnt care where they went or what they ate.

Maxwell smiled. "We'll have you try some American food then." He said a little excitedly. "Although if you don't see anything you like there let me know and we can go somewhere else." He said grabbing the bag and her hand and heading for the door.

Tay smiled, "Sounds like a plan." She nodded and walked to the door with him.

Maxwell opened up the door with the hand he held the bag in. "Some of the foods on the menu are a little fatty, but they remind me of being little. Before i knew of Magic and i lived in the Muggle world. Everything was so simple and the Muggle treated me like a person. Life was something back then." He spoke quietly. "But then the whole thing with Helios happened and nothing was ever the same. Don't get me wrong, i wouldn't change a thing but it doesn't hurt to remember." he said with a smile on his face. "But i think the present is a bit more... perfect." He said and when he said perfect he smiled at her and kissed her cheek.

Tay tried to hold back a grimace when he said the menu is a little fatty. She blush and smiled at the present is a bit more perfect part and the kiss on the cheek. "I think the present is a bit more perfect too." Taylor smiled at him and lowered her eyes as she stepped outside.

Maxwell noticed Taylor lowering her eyes from the sun. "Here." He held out his sunglasses for her to wear, he wasn't using them anyway. "I mean they do have things like salads and stuff." He said noticing her grimace at the mention of fatty foods and then thinking back to her comment about sweets when they were still at Hogwarts. "And i don't know what i'd do if i wasn't here with you right now." he said smiling.

She wave away the sunglasses. Tay smiled at the salad bit. Taylor blushed at the last part. "Oh Maxwell...." Her blush deepened, "I dont know what i would do either." Taylor tried to hide her blush which was impossible because of her crown braid.

Maxwell Offered the sunglasses again "Are you sure? I'm not using them?" He said smiling a little seeing her blush.

Tay nodded, "Yeah im sure." She laughed and smiled, "Thanks anyways." Taylor kissed his cheek. "It is beautiful out."
