Ad nodded a little bit, biting her lip gently. She was getting more frightened as time went by. ""I love you, Justin..." she managed weakly. More tears rolled down her cheeks as she shifted a little and made herself comfortable, even if that meant leaning all her weight against Justin.

Justin smiled a little. "I love you too"

Ad smiled, but it faltered and she coughed a little. "I know you do" she managed to get out.She felt like she was about to faint. She looked up at Justin sadly. "I know I've asked this more than enough Justin but...what's gonna happen to me?" she asked quietly.

Justin sighed looking at the floor. "You're gonna get through this"

Ad coughed slightly again. "I...I hope so..." she whispered.

Justin sighed. "You will do.."

Ad rested her weight against Justin slightly. "I love you..." she whispered.

Finally she was too drained to even stand up properly. She stumbled over to the bed and sat down shakily.

Ginny always seemed to be the one to break the silence between the both of them. "What's up with you?", she asked Court.

Court glanced up at Ginny and shrugged. "Just thinking.."

She caught eye contact with Court. "You don't need to tell me anything?", she asked weakly.

Courtney shook her head. "Nope, nothing" she replied. She wasn't just going to sit and spill her heart out to someone she hadn't really known that long.

"I love you too" replied Justin taking a few steps so he was beside the bed looking down at Ad. He crouched down in front of her taking hold of her hands. "If it's the last thing I do, I'll make sure you get through this somehow. I promise" he told her.

Ad's lips flickered in a smile. She looked up weakly, her eyes filling with tears. "J-J-Justin..." she stammered. "I...I don't know what to say...." she managed, wincing. The only thing she knew was that the potions were starting to wear off.

Justin put his hands on Ad's shoulders. "I promise.. Just keep thinking positive and you'll help yourself through at least a little bit.."

Ad nodded weakly. "I just...I wanna get this scan done before I change my mind too much" she whimpered, biting her lip.

Justin nodded in understanding. "Then he better hurry up then.."

Ad nodded and pulled on Justin's sleeve weakly, an attempt to pull him down next to her. Her head was throbbing and the sharp pain had come back. She sniffled and a stray tear rolled down her cheek.

Justin put his arms around Ad gently in an attempt to comfort her.

Ad snuggled herself into Justin's arms. She looked up at Justin weakly and a ghost of a smile flickered over her lips. "I just....I wanna go home, Justin..." she started crying again.

Ginny just knew Court like Bradin. She was close to her, a very close friend. Court could tell her anything but sometimes Ginny didn't know what to say or day.

Court glanced over at Ginny smiling a little at the good memories that came flooding to her mind. "Ya know, when I was kid I used to beg Bradin to bring me down here. He'd take me swimming in the lake, horse riding through the hills and streams.." she explained.

Memories of Bradin came straight to Ginny. Every time his name was mentioned; sometimes her heart would sink because he wasn't there anymore with her or she'd just have to listen to say what other people had to say about him. "I can just picture you guys have so much fun together", said Ginny half-grinning.

Courtney glanced at Ginny nodding. "We did. The memories are rewarding. Knowing that we were part of his life is one of the biggest privileges I've ever had" she replied. And she was positive Ginny had some amazing memories of Bradin too. But she'd never really given her the chance to embark on sharing them. "So what sort of things did you get up to with him?" she asked.

Ginny was really happy to hear Courtney talking like this. She seemed happier now than she had before. Ginny was smiling now, more than ever. "I'm glad I was in his life", she said to Court. Ginny felt like she had swallowed something down her throat. "Well... around here we both used to splash water around at each other in the river. We kept each other's company on this hill here, that we're sitting on. I just miss talking to him", she told her. She took a breath. "At times I feel like Bradin is following me and listening to what I'm saying. I even think he talks to me at times", she added to a mouthful.

Courtney listened as Ginny spoke of her cousin. But her final few sentences were what got her intruiged. "I'd say he is. His body may not be alive but his spirit always will be" she replied in a slight whisper.

Ginny listened carefully and closely to what Court was saying. Her words were so important. "He'll always be down in out hearts. We'll never forget him", she said quietly more to herself.
