Charlotte's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Was she related to the little girl? Kasandra Alys Stephanos... the handwriting looked too neat to be hers. How did her handwriting look again? It didn't matter, her handwriting was probably messy compared to the writer of the name. But who wrote it? How did she acquire it? She was getting a bit frustrated. As she puzzled over it a bit more, she felt like throwing the keys across the room. It was annoying her. So many unanswered questions! |
SPOILER!!: Jeffrey OOC: *sigh* Such wonderful material to work with. :) As you poke yourself on the ice pick and draw blood, the end of the wooden extension sparks red and your finger instantly heals up. |
Jeffery took his finger out of his mouth. When he did, the wooden stick on the pocket knife emitted red sparks and his finger was instantly healed. Whoa... what the? "Hey, hey look what my pocket knife did!" He showed his now healed finger to anyone who was near him. "It healed my cut!" What was that stick thingy? How had it... sparked? Was it flint? No, it was definitely made of wood. How had it done that? He decided to look at the compass instead. Why didn't it have anything on it? He started tapping at it, seeing it it would move or show something to him. |
She sat up, scrubbing her eyes, everyone else seemed to be awake, she must be the last one, but this place was crowded, but where was this place? um, she muttered, pushing her hair back, she concentrated, trying to think, where was she? she didn't know, why was she here? she didn't know. Um she tried again, hi, I'm- what was her name? she didn't know, it made no sense, do you know where we are? |

Dee-Dee, you realize that you're wearing this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ries/beryl.jpg For whatever reason, you immediately know the stone is called beryl and that it belonged to your grandmother. |
He watched the people around him found some of their possessions. But really he didn't want to find out his name, he liked Iggy. "ICE CREAM, WHERE!" he exclaimed getting up and running over to the freezer |
She turned around as she heard a shout, um, what? she said, confused, wake up, wake up she muttered, pincing herself as hard as she could, she had to wake up, she stood up and walked around the room, looking at the kitchenette area, she felt her stomach rumble, and wandered over to the kitchenette, pulling open draws until she found an edible orange, she began to peel it as she leaned against the counter, looking around her as she began to pull the segments apart and chew |

As you're all standing around, trying to figure out exactly who you are, you all hear a very loud fluttering sound, sort of like a fluttering cape, only a thousand times loud. It's almost so loud, in fact, that it kind of hurts your ears. The room becomes very bright for an instant and, while you're all covering your eyes, you hear the thud of a body against the hard floor. In the next instant, the sound and the light are all gone at the same time and, on the ground in the middle of the room, lying face down is this girl: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...emories/13.png and this boy: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...emories/14.png To our new players: There is an acrid taste in your mouth like cotton and cough syrup. You have an intense headache just behind your left eye, and you find it very difficult to move any of your limbs. But you're conscious, and that's a good thing. Now... if only you could remember who you are... |
She screamed Ohmigod! she rushed over to the girl ohmigod are you alright? She asked trying to remember her first aid skils, and she couldn't it just seemed like this room was sapping any of her memory |
She was spared looking at her ring for a moment as a loud song threatened to puncture her eardrums. Covering her ears, she tried to look around but the next moment a bright light had appeared and she was forced to squint her eyes shut as well. When both had finally vacated the room, she stood up from her stooped position and looked down to find.... another girl, lying face down. And beside her was also another boy she didn't recognize. She groaned and went over to the boy, who was still unattended to. She gently tried to prod him awake. |
OOC: Sorry. Two additions. You have TWO new people. Not one. |
Jeffery looked up as a blinding light was covering his vision and he heard two loud thumps land on the floor. But then the light was gone, and there were two new arrivals lying face-down on the floor. Jeffery let his pocket-knife on the floor next to him, the knife still out. He walked over to the two kids, helping one of them up. It was a boy. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked him, helping him into a sitting position. It would be a while before the kid could speak, so he'd be patient. Even a head-nod would do. |
Darkness. Darkness was the first hing she could remember. All of her other memoried were gone. Who she was, who her family was and...who these other people were. She tried to sit up and see the people around her, but none of her limbs wouild nove. Not one inch. She also noiced that there was an acrid taste in her mouth. It tasted like...cotton candy and...syrup. Her first instinct was to spit it out, but nothing was in there. As her senses came back to her she noticed that there was a intense punding headache right behind her left eye. She tried to move her hand up to i to sheild it; not that it would work, but her hand barely moved. And it hurt when it did. She set it back on the hard, cold floor and tried to relx and make the pain go away. She was lucky to be conscious at all, but it was hard to look at the positive when your whole body hurt. She heard a voice abpve her and she opened her eyes again. The voice was very loud, and it did not help her headache at all. |
He turned quickly "WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT?!?!?!" he exclaimed after covering his eyes from the light... that had come out of no-where. AND NOW TO RANDOMS ... fantastic "I don't think this day can get any weirder" he commented before walking over to see if he could help out at all, the girl was unattended so he went over to her. Poking her first just in case she was a cannibal or something |
After a few seconds she found a few small paper cups in the medicine cabinet above the sink. Her fingers fumbling in a rush, she picked one up out of the stack and stuck it under the running tap. she brought it up to her lips, gulping down the liquid hastily and then filling up the cup again as she tried to get the taste of vomit out of her mouth. Eventually, she did. She tossed the cup aside in a trash can and turned the tap off. Maybe it would be best to just let the scarf soak. She didn't really know. Quote:
"Sydney D." she whispered quietly, almost like she was afraid of what would happen if she uttered the syllables aloud. She liked the way the letters rolled off her tongue and decided that would be her name by default... unless someone confirmed it was something else. She liked it. Sydney looked into the mirror for the first time, staring at the reflection like she was trying to see past it... into the mind of the girl looking back at her. She wanted to know who she was. She wanted to know everything about her. Quote:
It took her a few seconds to realize her fists were up like a boxer's. Only the slightest bit abashed, she let her hands drop to her side, staring at him blankly. He didn't look dangerous. She didn't know what to think of him. He was the only person she'd had contact with since she woke up... "You are forgiven. Go ahead and use the restroom. Don't you dare touch my scarf though." she ordered solemnly, slipping out of the restroom. She was rather attached to the scarf... it was the only think that gave her the faintest hint about who she was. Crossing her arms, she leaned against the wall across from the door, waiting for him to exit so she could interrogate him about this place. She had questions she needed answered and he certainly seemed safe enough to question. Quote:
It became clear those guesses were wrong as the noise progressively got louder. Her heart began to pound in the same rhythm, fluttering faster than a hummingbird's wings. She plugged her ears with her fingers and squatted down on the ground, trying to block the noise from her ears. A little later she was forced to close her eyes, rendering her nearly senseless. When the noise stopped Sydney hesitantly opened one eye and then the other. She slowly brought herself to her feet and peeked around the corner to see two people lying on the ground, surrounded by other people. they all looked young... perhaps a little younger or older than her. She wondered briefly if they were all in the same situation. It would explain their age. She was still wary to face all the other people though. They were loud. Especially the one (samthehpfreak's charrie). |
He looked around at himself, laying there on the floor. He tasted his mouth, it had this weird taste like acidic Syrup and Cotton? Where did that all come from? His head started to bang, as if hitting drums, right behind his left eye, what was going on?Trying to get up was impossible because it felt as if his arms and legs were strapped with 10 pounds of concrete.Almost staggering to his feet, nearly falling down again, he barely managed to get up. Everything was different. Nothing was what it seemed. What special force was making this happen? |
ooc: sorry this is late! I was babysitting for almost the whole day! XD Quote:
She gave him a small smile. "uh.. excuse me.. do you mind if I have a look at that?" she asked but before anything else was said she heard a loud fluttering sound, kind of like a cape, but much much louder. The kind of loud that makes your ears almost bleed. She covered her ears with her hands. What's happening?, she thought. Her heart raced faster and faster. Then room becomes very bright and a sound of someone hitting the ground. Actually two people. Then darkness absorbs the whole room and the sound stops. She can't see anything for a bit. Then her eyes start to adjust. She then sees the outline of two bodies. Who are they? Are they like us?, she wondered. |
Charlotte looked at the new people in surprise, still not saying much. She didn't know what to do, she felt pretty useless right now. Shy... that was the word. But maybe more afraid? Who were these people exactly and how did those two appear. Charlotte thrust the keys back into her pocket, not talking to anyone, but looking a bit mad at herself. Mad because she didn't know how she got here, when she got here and who she was. What was her past life like? |
What was going on here? He saw another girl, one that looked as confused as him. He went over to the girl."Know what happened? How we got here?" He asked. He wanted to introduce himself , but oddly didn't know or remember his name.Maybe on hi way to this place he had lost all sense of identication. What if some guards came up and asked for his name, what would he say, would he lie to a cop? |
He raised an eyebrow "they don't look like cannibals " he said, even ore confused than he was before. Which is near impossible but true, He sat cross legged and thought over things "Still think we've been brainwashed" he concluded |

He opened his mouth, he was just about to reply, when the most blinding of lights and loudest of sounds suddenly covered the whole room, leaving him completely blind and deaf for a long moment, an annoying ringing left in his ears. "Agh..." He squinted as he opened his eyes again, only to find two new people had just arrived - a boy and a girl. What?! What kind of sick cruel joke was this?! Were people just going to keep popping out of nowhere?! He had a bad feeling these newcomers would probably be just as lost as the rest of the group was, and his suspicions were confirmed as the boy got up and began to ask around how they'd all gotten to this strange place. He said nothing, though, his mind not really on these newcomers. Instead, he glanced down at the picture he was holding once again, finding his hand shaking just very slightly. Why was he feeling so... reluctant? This was a picture of this girl, yet he felt... he didn't want to give it to her. He wanted to keep it. But, as he read over the words on the back once more, he realized... he can't be that greedy. This had a name, and it had her face... put one and the other together, and chances are that name on the back of the photograph is her name. He couldn't be cruel enough not to tell her her name. But he really didn't want to give up this photograph. After a few long moments of indecision, he turned his brown eyes back to the blonde girl. "There... there's, um, something... I..." he trailed off. How was he going to explain this? 'Here, look at this picture of you I found. Now, can I have it back?' No, that wouldn't make sense. "Actually, never mind," he decided after another moment of indecision, giving the girl his best attempt at a small, polite smile before moving away, a short distance away from the group, over to the very entrance of the hallway. He glanced down at the picture again, then at the back - T.D.C.? What could that mean? And why on earth was he so reluctant to give that girl her picture? What was wrong with him?! The least he could've done was tell her her name! But... he didn't have any guarantee she'd believe him. Argh... decisions, decisions. |
