Charlotte: The piece of paper is an official document with a seal at the top that reads Wizengamot Administration Services, Council of Magical Law.' It reads such: Quote:
And, no, Jeffrey. That is not a flamethrower. Actually, it's an air freshener, as you find out when you squeeze it. |
Charlotte sighed. And then looked at the paper. It was... a letter? Her eyes scanned the paper and her heart's pace quickened. Murder? She felt scared, could this be addressed to Iggy? Had he killed the girl? Her hands were trembling now, due to the fact that she was stuck in a room with a murderer. Then what did her stupid stick had to do with it. There was it in the television... right? And Council of Magical Law? Magic didn't exist... The signature was illegible, but it didn't matter, she was in the same room as a murderer. |
Point of interest: Everyone who knows what a TV is, doesn't believe in magic. ;) Except Lisette. She's a special case. |

Now to answer the question. Oh yeah, what was a muggle? she thought for a minute. Then she remembered. Aha! The people that can't preform magic.. she thought. She turned around to them. "A muggle is a person that does not have magical abilities and was not born into the magical world" she explained. Wow, how did she just say that? Then a boy appeared in the screen. Why was he in there? |
Eventually Sydney wandered away from her post by the bathroom door, much to impatient to wait for answers. She slipped carefully around the corner, and proceeded to lean against a different wall, not saying a word as she watched the other... well, she didn't really not what they all were... captives?... interact with each other. They all seemed innocent enough, really. Did that mean they were left unattended by their captor? Could she just leave? She was distracted by her thoughts when a television appeared on the wall she was up against. The girl stumbled away, standing back and staring at the monstrosity of a... Window? Blackhole? Err. She watched, fascinated, as someone turned the machine on, staring with wide eyes as one of the occupants of the room appeared. She looked at the boy and then back at the screen, doing a double take. Did he have a twin? "They trapped his brother in a blackhole..." she said solemnly to herself when the video finished playing, looking rather sad for his sake. Poor thing. She couldn't remember whether she had a brother or not. Sydney sighed, sticking her hands in her pockets and staring at the screen. Then she took a few steps away, not wanting to get sucked in. |

The boy listened as Lisette explained what a muggle was. Her explanation made perfect sense, actually - to him, anyway. He wasn't sure why or how, but the idea of there existing a magical world and a non-magical world didn't surprise him, it was… normal to him. He gave a soft chuckle as a girl guessed that the muggles had trapped Iggy's twin brother in a blackhole, doubting her theory though finding himself a bit amused by it. But this was still a frustrating situation; the others seemed to know so much already, at least they were sure of their own names; but him? He couldn't be sure. The only clue he had was the T.D.C. initials on the back of Lisette's photograph and that Tristan name on the back of her envelope. But he didn't want to be Tristan… so he refused to assume that was him. He'd rather be someone else; someone who wasn't receiving an envelope with a ring inside of it and a note reading 'I'm sorry'. It didn't seem like the most pleasant scenario. Tired from just sitting around, the boy got up to his feet and paced around the room absentmindedly, drowned in his own thoughts, in his own hopes of getting out of this dreaded room. He wasn't necessarily enjoying being stuck with a bunch of people he didn't know, and would much rather get out there to the real world, to the place where people knew who they were and could probably help him find his way back home. |

"Is there food here?" she asked the older girl offhandedly, suddenly not intimidated at all by the other kids. Sydney was starving... The fact that she'd already puked out the little food she'd had in her stomach wasn't helping either. Her tummy let out a little growl of protest at her words. |

He opted best to ignore her and disappeared into the kitchen just as another girl started arguing with the loony one. He'd rather stay out of that and find himself a snack or something, growing rather hungry over these past couple hours. ooc: Fridge still there? |
He took a deep breath before opening his eyes to see the Embroidery that had been stitched in his collar..He opened his eyes and the first thing he saw that he has a tattoo on his right shoulder..'I've a tattoo??WICKED..!!' but unfortunately he couldn't see what kind a tattoo that has been attached on his right shoulder because it's located a little behind his shoulder..He decided to turned around and saw it from the mirror image but before he turned around he saw the Embroidery 'Almost forget about this' he looked at it and he saw Augie stitched into the collar of his shirt with mom-stitch.'It's Augie my name?' he thought.. |
Oh good, a fridge. Growing a little more enthusiastic now, he quickly made his way over to it, hoping to find in it some sweet frozen treats or something of the sort. Eagerly, he opened the door, a smile beginning to creep on his face just at the thought of foo-- Merlin's beard, what the bloody hell is that?! He froze, brown eyes wide as he stared at the containers filled with what he assumed at first to be just raw meat. Then it turned out to be human body parts. With a look of disgust, he shut the door to the fridge, his features twisted in a way that showed how clearly not amused he was. But who the hell would put body parts in a fridge?! What kind of sicko was doing that?! Were they going to be the next meal to end up in that damned, haunted fridge or something!? Completely disturbed by this, he swiftly left the kitchen. Suddenly he felt the need to brush his teeth, as if doing so would get that disgusting sight to leave his mind. He disappeared into the hall then, and walked into the bathroom - only to find some shirtless guy standing there admiring his reflection in the mirror. Uhhhh. Okay, that wasn't awkward at all. Blank-faced, he closed the door and walked right back out to the hallway. He was starting to seriously hate this room; there was no privacy. Or at least a nice bed to take a nap on. |

She decided to stand up and walked over to a wall. She leaned against it and looked up at the ceiling. She wished that she could remember what had happened and what she was like. She sighed and decided to walk to the bathroom. |
*pets her crazy character* Quote:
"Sorry!" Sydney yelled, stomping her foot. This was frustrating. "It was theoretical. And you were not pointing out that my theory made no sense. You were teasing me." Yes. She was the victim here! "I don't want to talk to you anymore." So, she let out a big humpf and turned her back on the girl. During mid-pout she spotted the guy over by... Gasp!... a fridge! Quote:

Sydney approached the fridge cautiously, as if she was afraid something was going to jump out at her, and swung the door open. The girl stared and stared and stared some more, a look horror on her face. SOMEONE HERE IS A CANNIBAL?! She almost puked again. |

"Because he murdered someone..." Charlotte said quietly. Because he had murdered a girl who was defenseless with that stupid stick that she held in her hand right now. It wasn't hers and magic didn't exist! It didn't exist and she was sure of it! |

He looked at her she seemed a bit confused, "Sorry, call me Frenchie," he said with a nod as he began pacing again, he turned to Logic, "That makes sense.....I think they are showing us what we have become by wiping our memories they show us who we were by showing us our lives they show us what we turn into." |
OOC: Bathroom is occupied by Augie. Two things happen, the first of which is that a door appears right next to the bathroom door. Then, without being prodded this time, the TV crackles back into life. This time, you see: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Memories/6.png My friend and yours, Sylvestre. This time there is sound. Sylvestre is standing in a long corridor and a tall, bearded man is approaching him. Sylvestre looks maybe a couple years younger. The bearded man is wearing funny clothes--robes and a pointed hat. He hands Sylvestre an envelope and says, "I'm sorry, Sylvestre, but there's been an accident." Sylvestre, you don't really remember this happening to you, but as you watch it on the TV, your heart feels like his breaking. The scene changes and Sylvestre is standing in front of an open coffin, looking down at a woman with his same eyes and nose. The screen goes blank again. |

Just as he was making his way out of the bathroom, still completely blank-faced from bumping into that shirtless guy, he caught sight of something. A door. Huh? That wasn't there before! He glanced around the empty hallway for a moment, as if to check if someone else had seen this. But everyone seemed a little distracted by the television screen. Curiously, his hand reached the doorknob and paused for a moment, a little hesitant, before turning it and opening the new, mysterious door. If this turned out to be a closet, he was going to be... ticked. |
