On a secluded hilltop, outside of a small town in Canada, stood a spacious, white, two-story house. The outside was surrounded by freshly cut, bright green grass. It was so green, it made the house stand out even more. In front of the vast porch, there were bushes with budding red roses. On the porch was a light blue porch swing. It slowly swayed with the light breeze, making a quiet creaking sound.

When entering through the burgundy colored door, the first thing noticeable is all the pictures that occupied the walls. They were all pictures of people. Some were of family and others held friends. But in most of them, the same blond haired woman with gray colored eyes, hiding behind a pair of glasses, stood in them, with a smile on her lips. A living room was at the end of the entrance hall. Baby blue carpet was soft underneath your feet as a fireplace stood in front of a beige couch. Two matching armchairs were also placed in the room, which looked comfortable and cozy. A bookcase was placed in the corner of the room, which held many books and more pictures. On one shelf held a small baby elephant figurine, sitting next to a friendly looking werewolf. On the wall were three different sized stars that were baby blue like the carpet. This room looked lived in and welcoming.

When turning to the left, a swinging door stood leading to the kitchen. To the right was a staircase that led upstairs. When going through the swinging door, a wonderful smell hit your nose. The kitchen held all basic necessities, like a refrigerator in the corner and a stove against the middle of the wall. The counter tops were a soft gray color and always had a bowl of fresh fruit sitting on its surface. A picture of kittens rolling around in a box, playing with each other, was placed just above the dinning room table. At the end of the kitchen stood a white door with a single window that led outside. An apple tree was seen out the little window. A wooden swing hung down from one of the branches. The house of Tina Jackson was a great place to be during the summer.

Plot: A group of friends have agreed to come and visit their friend Tina for the summer. She has also asked some family members to come and hang out also. What happens is up to all of you!

Ok age group is 17-19. Please make your character around this age Oh and also, you can make your character related to eachother or Whit's cahracter who is Tina, if you want to

Lauren looked up as Seamus walked in. "Hey Seamus long time no see." She said smiling and giving him a hug. And then she turned to Tony. "Maybe we can work somthing out to where we can go before the term starts that way you can come too." SHe said smiling. "Or we'll just send you a post card."

Seamus raised an eyebrow at Tina at her words. "Well, me brotha' is mvp. Do you think they were winnin'?" he laughed. "They were. It was about..seven to four when I left. Really good game. The otha' team is really puttin' up a fight, but they won't stand a chance," he said proudly. It made him wish that he hadn't of quit lacrosse. He was an amazing player and had been offered a place on Dublin's team, but he didn't take it so he could become an Unspeakable. He regretted his decision greatly.

"Hey Laur," he said, snapping out of his trance and giving her a hug. "I know, it's been a while." Seriously, he hadn't seen these people in a really long time. He smiled, happy to be amongst them again.

"Hey no worries Tina. You go out with your friends and have a good time. But I expect a post card or letter at least three times a week." Tony said winking at his cousin. He wished he could go with them, but he wanted what was best for his cousin. She was his favorite cousin and liked to see her happy.

"So is anybody hungry?" His mom had taught him how to cook last summer and he wanted to put his skills to the test.

"Ya we'll have to work out the details. But no matter what you will leave this house and you will go on that trip." Lauren said jokingly with a laugh. She then turned her attention back to Seamus. "SO what have you been doing since I last saw you?" She said smiling.

She was brought out of her thoughts by him asking if anyone was hungry. With all that was going on she ha forgotten to get the food for her guests! "I'm quite hungry now that I think about it. What could yo make for us tonight Tony?" Tina said. She knew that her cousin had taken cooking lessons last summer and would want to be in charge of the food.

Nefertari Nix Astra was sleeping soundly on a small cot in a small hut on the coast of Japan. The sun was low in the sky and a sundial in the garden informed no one in particular that it was eight in the morning. Nefertari rolled over and muttered something inarticulate in her sleep, before bolting upright, eyes wide and mouth agape.

"Oh, no!" she cried. "I'm late!" With that proclamation she jumped out of bed, pulling her wand from beneath her pillow and flicking it. Suddenly, all her belongings came flying from various places and landed in her satchel which closed itself. She took her clothes for the day, a towel, and bath supplies and Apparated to the nearest hot spring to bath.

An hour later she was kneeling before her sensei, who was lying in a bed looking quite peaky.

"Gomenasai, Fai-sensei, but I must leave now," she explained.

"Of course," he muttered feebly. "Go now, I will be fine."

"But Sensei!"

"Daijobu, Nefertari-san. Go."

She did not argue, but gave him a stern look that left him doubtless that he would see her as soon as she could get back. "I'll see you as soon as I can come back."

"Of course. Now go."

"Arigatogazaimas, Fai-sensei." And with that she Apparated to the nearest Floo-able location. Once there, she Flooed to a lovely home overseas in Canada.

She tumbled out of the fireplace in the large home and looked around. She could only guess that she was in the living room. "Konichi wa!" she called. "Hello! Anyone home?" she asked. She heard voices suddenly and quickly rushed into the next room, her satchel bouncing on her back.

"I'm sorry I'm late," she said. She spotted a group of people huddled together, talking and apparently catching up. She smiled, it had been only a short time since her Hogwarts days, but it felt like an eternity since she'd seen anyone from the magical school.

Eric woke up grumbling as his younger siblings entered through his bedroom door fighting and screaming. He opened his eyes and gave them all a long stare before sitting up in his bed asking "Morning! What's this racket all about?" Glancing at his watch Eric knew he was going to be late to Tina's house after settling his siblings dispute.

He didn't like being late seeing as he was known for being punctual. Eric got dressed and then said "Stop, screaming and fighting and sit down on the bed." He watched as Jasmine, Amanda and Kevin sat down grumply on the bed. "Now who would like to tell me what's going on?" Everyone started talking at the same time. Eric listened and tried to understand the different versions. It took him an half an hour to settle the dispute and when he was finally ready to leave he wasn't going to be fashionably late anymore, just very late.

Eric sighed and took some floo powder. In seconds he was zooming off to Tina's house. He landed in a sooty and dusty fireplace. Coughing he clambered out of it. After trying to make himslef at least a little presentable he called out in his clear voice "Hello! Is there anyone here?" Eric heard voices coming from the adjacen't room and guessed all his friends were there chatting and catching up.

He walked into the room, dragging his trunk behind him. Eric waited for a moment and then said smiling "Hey everyone! Sorry I'm late! What have i missed so far?"

"Jess! Wake up! Don't you have some kind of party on today?"

Jess' eyes shot open at the last sentence Rachel, one of her housemates, said. She glanced at her watch and as soon as she saw the time she jumped from her bed (her blonde hair swinging around wildly), grabbed some clothes, and shot out her door. She raced down the corridor of her house and into the bathroom.

Once she finished her shower and got ready for the party, she bade each of her housemates goodbye (including giving Rachel a huge hug to say thankyou for waking her up). She smiled, checked she had everything, then turned on the spot.

There was a loud crack as the eighteen-year-old appeared on top of a hill. Jess slowly made her way up the hill until she reached a house. She hurried inside and at once saw many of her friends, obviously having much fun at the party she was late for.

Why did she have to be late for everything? Sure, sleeping is one of the best joys in life, but she had never wanted to be late for any of her friends' get-togethers. Ah well, she thought optimiscally, better late than never. She was sure her friends would see it like that. After all, they were her friends and they loved her.

She made her way to Tina and said brightly, "Hey. Sorry I'm late. How are you?" She looked around at her friends that she hadn't seen in ages, taking note to say hello later.

Nefertari turned and smiled at the boy who had just arrived. She'd known him from Hogwarts, she was sure, but she couldn't remember his the name that went with his face. She couldn't even remember what house or year he had been in!

"Hello! Glad to see I'm no the only one late. You arrived probably two seconds after me," she explained, smiling. At that moment another person appeared and she definitely knew the girl had been a year under her, but Merlind, Nefertari was bad with names. She was surprised she still remembered Tina's name at all! She'd clearly spent too much time away from her school friends.

She perfectly knew that the fact that she wasn't always at the same spot was making it difficult but she always had the soul of a traveler.

Tony chuckled at Tina as she said she would write to him. He was glad. He always enjoyed her letters. After Tina said something about food, three more people arrived. He saw Eric, Jess, and Nix finally walk in and he waved a hello to them. He decided he would wait until things settled down before making something to eat. He didnt even know what to make!

Walking over to Jess, Anthony smiled and said, "How are you Jess? I havent seen you in forever!"

Seamus shrugged. "Workin' at the Ministry," he said not so excitedly. He seriously was considering leaving his job. He had gotten another offer since he started to be on a professional lacrosse team and was seriously considering taking it. He had put that offer on hold and right about now he wanted to take it.

He as the new faces appeared from the fireplace and from the front door, happily greeting them with warm smiles and curt waves. It had been so long since he'd seen these people. He oculd already tell that this was going to be an amazing vacation.

Lauren couldn't help but laugh as Cassie talked of flying here. "Sure Mis I can't go anywhere without a broomstick." She said smiling. She then looked over and saw Eric, Jess, and Nefertari walk in and walked over to them. "Hey long time no see." Lauren said smiling giving them all a hug. "Now why is it that your late?" She said with a tiny laugh.

After the conversation about traveling around Europe and learning new languages, Rohey had sort of dozed off into her own world just thinking about all the fun they would all have. she looked around and noticed three new arrivals. "Jess! its been forever, how are you?!"she said as she gave her a warm hug."and Nefertari hows Japan been? I havent seen you in ages either Eric!"she said, also giving the two warm embraces.

She looked around the room and noticed that it was getting pretty full now. "So Tina, who else needs to get here or are we all set?" She inquired.

Nefertari sat down around the group, which was so far ignoring her. Lovely, she thought, this is what I came here for. To sit around and be invisible. I forgot what Hogwarts was like... ah, the good old days, she continued sarcastically, her lip curling at her thoughts.

Yes, she had been a bit of a book worm and maybe she wasn't as 'stunning' as her mum seemed to believe, but she was never sure because she never analyzed the way she looked; there were more important things. She sighed and leaned back in the chair, trying to catch a bit of the conversation so she could join in.

Eric thought about her words smiling it would have been a lovely entrance scene if he had arrived at the same time and spot as Neferati. All of his friends would have had a good laugh. He was sure.

Not having time to scan the faces in the room he was given a welcoming hug from Lauren. Eric returned the hug saying "It's lovely to see you too, Lauren." He looked down at his feet and then up at her and said shrugging "Umm. Why was I late? Well I had to settle a dispute between my three siblings. It took like 10 minutes to even understand who had done what, and then come up with a solution. And their was some toothpaste involved too." Eric shifted his feet and then asked "So how have you been, Lauren?"

Eric waved at Seamus and Tony two of his best mates back at school. He definitley wanted to talk to them and also Kassie and Cassie who were also there in the room.

As conversation around the house started to burst, Kassidy a hand on her head, running it slightly through her hair as she tried to catch afew different subjects being discussed and or questions being asked. "Hi Seamus," She automatically replied before catching sight of the boy. She knew it was him, by his voice. They hadn't only been friends throughout school, they were bound to be related by marriage sooner or later.

As Cassie jumped down and wrapped her in a big hug, Kass giggled. Hugging her back happily, "Well, in Spain. Mostily at work then home really, And I feel the same way - But I'm definitally glad to be here! I missed everyone so," The girl always made her smile, she just did, Even when she didn't want to. Cassie was an awesome friend, as was everyone else too.

"What about you know, Miss Cass! Where have you been?"

Nefertari smiled. "It's actually Nefertari," she said, pronouncing her name slowly. She giggled. "Neferati is...an interesting twist on it though. You can call me Nix if my first name is too hard, of course. Hufflepuff, huh? Year bellow....?" she repetead slowly, thinking. "I know I know your name. Hang on, I'll get it, I'm sure...." She closed her eyes, thinking hard.

Her shoulders slumped. "Oh, I give up. I'm terrible with names! You'd think that I'd be good-- I mean, I can memorize whole text books, but names? Merlin, no!" she said with a laugh. "I think I've got no room left for names-- it's all taken up with all those old tomes and things, you know?" she asked. "Well, how have you been? What have you been doing since Hogwarts? I mean... it's not like you've been out that long, none of us have, but..." she let her sentence fall away.

Over hearring Nefertari, A slight innocent grin crossed her face. Turning her attention from Cassandra for a small moment, to another old friend. "Heyloo Tari," She greeted, as if it hadn't been afew years since they'd last spoken. Kassidy had to stop the smirk from grazing her face, as she wandered if the girl would remember her. Probably not, but she didn't mind; She would merely have fun with it for the moment - Letting Nefertari try to guess.

You can call me Nix if my first name is too hard, of course. Hufflepuff, huh? Year bellow....?" she repetead slowly, thinking. "I know I know your name. Hang on, I'll get it, I'm sure...." She closed her eyes, thinking hard.

Her shoulders slumped. "Oh, I give up. I'm terrible with names! You'd think that I'd be good-- I mean, I can memorize whole text books, but names? Merlin, no!" she said with a laugh. "I think I've got no room left for names-- it's all taken up with all those old tomes and things, you know?" she asked. "Well, how have you been? What have you been doing since Hogwarts? I mean... it's not like you've been out that long, none of us have, but..." she let her sentence fall away.

Eric scratched his head saying "Sorry Nefertari! I think i'll call you Nix if that's all right with you? Your name is beautiful, but quite hard to pronounce. Yes, i'm a former badger. Did you think i was in some other house?" Being in Hufflepuff had been a great experience and the best house for him. Eric remembered how dissapointed he had been at first, but looking back now he couldn't understand why.

He watched her struggle to remember his name and after a while when she had given up he said smiling warmly "I'm Eric. I know what you mean about having your head filled up with information.. A lot of history dates and events, spells, creatures and other stuff. Sometimes i wonder if i have enough room to learn new things. Hogwarts was definitley memorable and the professors very something extra.. Don't you agree?" Eric shifted his feet letting go of his heavy trunk with a small bang.

He turned his blue eyes back to Nix saying "I've been good. After Hogwarts i studied various subjects like COMC and Herbology. I also travelled around the world before deciding to apply for a job at the ministry. At the moment i am training for a job in the Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.So Nix what have you done since Hogwarts?"

Nerfertari smiled. "Thanks. I love my name, but sometimes I wonder what my mum was thinking, giving me such a hard name to pronounce. But of course, she has a whole story behind it. It means 'most beautiful' and then my middle name Nyx, means 'night' so... my name means 'most beautiful night'... I don't know. My mum tells it better than I do." She smiled.

"No, I didn't think you were in Gryffindor. I would have at least remembered if you had been-- well, maybe not since you were a year bellow me and as it was I hardly socialized with anyone-- even people in my own year. I socialized with the books," she said with a laugh. "So... Eric... I'll have to remember that. I do think the professors were... something else.

"Oh, sounds like you've been doing quite a bit since school-- and you've only been out a year! That's wonderful. I've been all over. Mostly continuing my studies. I travelled so much as a child, but I just can't get enough so I haven't really settled yet. My mum gets on my case all the time. 'You need to find yourself a nice wizard-- or muggle, I don't care-- and settle down. Get a job at the Ministry!'" she said, immitating her mother. She laughed. "She's crazy sometimes. I can't ever make her happy. She wants me to meet someone, but no one's good enough, she says..." She shook her head. "But no, I've been all over. I studied in Japan with a mentor for a while. I was just there actually. My mentor is rather sick so I was taking care of him. He taught me so much. Not just magic, you know, but physical combat and oh, the acient magic that he taught me!" she said, clapping her hands together. "It's so amazing. The old traditions-- they are just so beautiful," she said in a voice laced with awe and reverence. Her large green eyes went suddenly misty as she remenisced.

Although she hid the smirk well, she could not supress her excited squeal. As she hugged Tari back, "You remembered! It was that nickname, wasn't it?" Kassidy laughed, nodding in agreement. "It has been long, Too long! I'm great, now atleast. How are you?"
