It's the year 2065,
Of course, Emmylyne still had an agreement set with her mother over having part-guardianship of one of her many younger sister's. This one, being her teenage sister: Savannah Mae. There was nothing wrong with their family in the least, the younger girl merely didn't want live in Paris and move from the school she had started at; That, and Emmy's little sister seemed to be quite similar to her, in afew ways. The main, being she and their mother butted-heads too much. That, was another story in it's own though.

And Axel, had full-guardianship of both Valencia, and Dustin Phoenix. His teenage brother, and nearly of-age sister. That, was also an even longer story, but shortly put; Axel's father and grandfather, and maybe even further back had been sucessful auror's (Which there was no doubt, he was following in their footsteps). Of course, along with the job came the chance of dangers to yourself and your family. Some year's prior an attack had been made on the Phoenix family. Most unfortunately taking both Missus and Mister Phoenix's lives, Axel kidnapped and severely hurt, and both children in the care of the Ministry until they had been able to find a relative to hand them over to.

They had all had their fair share of hard times, and of good too. Since then, everything seemed to be going their way (for the most part); it was all actually really lovely. Emmylyne and Axel, had met many, many, many year's ago. As kids, only afew years older then toddler's even. Along with three others: Elissa, Benjamin and Finnegan.
Since her grandmother had introduced them at the age of five, for a playdate, each had become unbelieveably close unbelieveably fast. Spending each day of summer together if possible, and whenever they could during the rest of the year. It had gotten harder as they started different wizarding academy's. The two girl's going to Beauxbatons, and the three boy's to Durmstrang. But still the five managed this.

Now, to the present, Emmylyne had a gorgeous daughter; a toddler. Very intelligent for her age, and knew on her own that Axel, her Mommy's husband, was not her 'real' Daddy. Although much too little to remember anything from those times she did spend with Benjamin before his heroic death (By putting a colleague before himself) Lainie loved both men, alot. Both, she felt were her Fathers and that's all that mattered to her.

Back to Axel and Emmy..They had married, exactily nine months from this day. December 8th had been the day, in her favorite season. Thankfully..There had been very few mentions or awkwardness about 'them' from Family and Friends. Emmy had been more so concerned over Benji's side of the family..and his friends, but really all that mattered was Faith Lawley; Lainie's Grandmother, was absolutely fine with it. Knowing her son would have been too, as if it had been arranged incase of his death - Ax had been family, in Faith's eyes. She had one son, and two daughter's, one more son wasn't anything to her and it gave her that comfort knowing her past daughter-in-law and mother to her first and only grandbaby was in good hands. Even better, Jodie; Ben's sister, was completely understanding as well. Both Lawley women were very involved in the toddlers life, and Ems.

She, Emmy, was greatful. Over all of it. Everything had always been incredibly complicated, it always had and she was still uncertain if that would go away. But that was okay. She- No, they, had a growing family. She had Axel, the love of her live. And her little angel, Lainie..plus, three wonderful teenager siblings, that the women couldn't help but treat as her and Axel's own. But that was a given, really.

The past was behind them, of course never forgotten..but also never mourned. Only celebrated, to the fullest it had been whether it be a lost-loved one or a bittersweet memory. Whatever it be, they tried keeping thing's positive. And around the house..everything was nothing more then cheerful, and happy. Though, with their only being the couple at home at the moment, one could say that didn't mean much. They; Ax and Ems, would disagree though.

It was rather early in the morning, on August 8th in Valencia, Spain. Today, each of the four 'children' were- As far as Emmylyne knew- suppose to be on their way home from visiting others on break.

Literally speaking, It's doubtful Axel and Emmy could handle more then their teenager's ~~Especially with Vee just turned of-age! XD~~ and toddler. Family bonding time right now.

The day was August 8th, 2065 and Axel Phoenix had just fallen out of bed. Checking the clock while rubbing the back of his sore neck, he inclined his head to make sure that Emmylyne was still sleeping. Heaving a sigh of relief, the young man stood up and grabbed a pair of his green, plaid pajama pants from off the chair in their master bedroom. He pulled them over his boxers so now he was dressed in his pants and a wife beater.

Running to the side table on his side of the bed, he pulled one of the drawers open and took out a small velvet box. The box was aged and it was definitely noticeable. Gently opening it, he gently took the golden chain that was in side. Hanging off the chain was a gold locket. It was empty, but he had it that way on purpose.

After placing the box back in the drawer, Axel held the locket tight in his hand as he examined his wife, in search of some where to place it. Sea green eyes landed on an open hand that was resting gently on a pillow. Perfect. Tip-toeing over to her side of the bed, the young man placed the locket in her hand and closed it. She seemed to grab it. Yes! It worked. Well done!

With a satisfied smile on his face, Axel made his way to the kitchen. He stood in the middle of the room, unable to concentrate. He was far to excited to see the look on Emmy's face when she saw her present. Another thought came to him suddenly. Moving quick as a cat, he went into their backyard and picked a bouquet of roses and placed them in a vase in the middle of the counter where the bar stools were.

Finally happy with his accomplishments, he sat at one of the stools and grabbed the Daily Prophet off the counter to read. Glancing up from his reading, he flicked his wand. Pancakes were making themselves along with fresh coffee. He smiled triumphantly and waited as patiently as possible for the love of his life to wake up.

Slowly, Brownish green hazel eyes came into view as her eyelids fluttered open. Yawning, she turned on to her other side. Her gaze fixed blankly- or tiredly, rather, on the creamy wall far across from her.

After afew moments the young woman pulled herself into a sitting position, only then noticing a small weight in her closed left hand. What in the wor- She began to think, while raising her hand and opened it, revealing a beautiful oval-shaped golden locket. "Axel.." She mumbled, a smile appeared at his name. That man..young man. Oh goodness. Sometimes he was just TOO sweet, but she loved him. There was no doubt.

Climbing out of bed, Emmylyne kept the locket in her hand and used the other to grab her mahogany wooded wand from the handsome, and rather unique looking endtable. Using the wand to make the bed with ease, as she went to put her bathrobe on, covering her PJ shorts and tanktop. It was slightly silly, after leaving the warm covers.

Tying her messy brownish blonde curls back, She soon found herself downstairs and walking towards the kitchen.

"Good morning hun," Emmy said, softly. Soon reaching her husband and wrapped her arms around his neck from behind (Thankfully, she was only a mere few inches shorter) and slipped between two barstools to his side. "Sneaky little bugger, aren't you?" She asked, teasingly and raising the locket into view, letting out a small giggle.

It didn't take as long for her to catch sight of the freshly picked roses, causing her to giggle more. "What is this all about, Mister?" Em asked, the slightlest bit of curiousity sparkled in both her expression, and eyes.

After hearing footsteps coming into the kitchen, Axel fixated his sea green eyes on the Daily Prophet. That's right, he was going to act totally oblivious of what he had just done. He was extremely proud of himself for waking up before Emmy. That was actually an accomplishment for him seeing as she was the one who usually woke before him.

Feeling her arms around his neck, he took her hands in his and gave her a good morning kiss. Putting his plan into play, a confused expression crossed his face. "Whatever are you talking about my love?" he asked, unable to stop the smile that was slowly creeping its way across his lips.

Alright, time to give up the act. He couldn't take it anymore."Sneaky? I'm quite proud of myself actually," he chuckled with a triumphant look. "Let me put it on. Here." He took the locket from her hand and gently placed it around her neck, clasping it firmly in the back. He then looked her up and down, taking in how she looked with the locket on and not to mention how beautiful he thought she looked in her bathrobe.

"It's a perfect fit." He ran his fingers over the locket that now dangled on her neck and smiled. "It was my mother's. One of the few things I was able to save from the fire," he explained. "Vee has the other locket." Before their parents were killed, Axel was given a box full of a few things from their mother. This locket being one of them. He also had given Emmylyne his mother's wedding ring as well. Yes, his parents knew they were going to their death. "Oh and I thought you'd like to put the pictures of your choice in it, that's why I left it blank," he added, motioning to it.

After she noticed the roses, his smile grew even bigger. "Please, you don't remember? Or are you the one playing dumb now?" he chuckled. "Today is our nine month anniversary and I wanted to do something special for my wife. Seeing as the last few months on this day we've been bombarded by our wards," he laughed, referring to the children they lived with on the day of their marriage.

"Now," he clapped his hands together and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Can I get you some pancakes and coffee?" He stood up and busied himself with making a plate and cup full of the steaming drink.

She nodded lightly, as he put the locket on for her and started to explain. Truth be told, Emmylyne thought she had seen it before but didn't say this. It made it all more precious and special, knowing it had been his mothers. "It does," She agreed quietly, refering to when he said it fit perfectly.

Em gave another small nod, figuring it would be best not to say what she was thinking about putting inside..it would be a long while anyways, and better left for later. For now, it was still just perfect empty.

"I knew what day it was, silly. Just normally anniversary's are yearly," She responded, smiling and brushed her lips softly against his very briefly. Taking a seat on a barstood she stood by, Emmylyne watched Axel go around and busy himself with the kitchen. "Uhm..I suppose that would be alright," Normally she really didn't eat breakfast, unless it was a work day. But, it was probably a good idea to eat something instead of going by her normal schedule. "Love you Axel.."

Axel chuckled lightly as he placed two pancakes on a plate and poured a cup of coffee. "Well, I wanted to give my wife something nice for our 'month'iversary. This is the first one we're having alone," he reminded her. He levitated her plate and cup of coffee onto the counter in front of her, then busied himself with his own food.

Sitting down next to her, he wrapped his arms around her middle and buried his face in her hair. "I love you too Emmylyne," he whispered. "I always have." Could you say that his life was perfect? Why yes you could. It was a messed up life, but it was his cup of tea.

"So, how long do we have until the children arrive?" Of course he was referring to his cousin, who happened to be the same exact age as him, as one of the children as well. He and Elissa would be stopping by to spend a week or so with them. He was quite excited, seeing as he had gotten to take off of work for a while in order to tend to their guests.

"Can't imagine what Finn has had those kids doing," he laughed. Finnegan was always one to surprise him with different activities that he came up with. "Oh! I wonder how he coped with Vee! She's just turned seventeen on the third!" he suddenly remembered. "I bought her some new art supplies. Can't wait to give them to her."

After finishing his breakfast, he levitated it into the sink and turned back to Emmy. "Anything in particular you want to do before our company comes home?" he wondered, taking both of her hands in his. "God, you're beautiful." Yes, he was one to just say anything random.

He had a point. This was the first time they had been left alone this long, from the ones they cared for. Not that they didn't love all four kids, but..They weren't so old themselves. Valencia was only five years younger, Dusty and Savina - six to seven years younger. It was nice to have just abit of alone time, to themselves.

Still. Emmylyne was begining to really miss her daugher, sister, brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Closing her eyes momentarily, She found herself leanning into her dear husband ever so slightly. Then, at the question, her earth toned eyes turned towards the wall, glancing at the clock then at Ax. "Well..It's 10:48 right now. I'd think we have about an hour atleast," Laughing, She quickly realized he had meant Finn as one of those kids. It was still a wonder to her, that she was now related to both Finnegan and Elissa; by marriage.

"I hope the kids are behaving themselves," Emmy added. "I'm sure she'll absolutely love that."

Not so long later of receiving her breakfast, she had finished. Taking one last sip of her coffee and took her wand from her pocket to clear the mess, then set it down on the counter. "Nothing that comes to mind, I don't believe. Other then getting ready for the day."

Even though they were very much together, for quite sometime now, His compliments still had a way of making her cheeks fill with that rosy color. "Your too adorable," She informed, giggling lightly and shook her head with amusement.

Finally, there lives were on track again. Today enough, everything was set up. The house was nice and clean, the kids would be coming one soon, three with Finn and Eli, and Lainie with her grandmother or aunt; Em assumed.

Axel nodded, biting his bottom lip slightly. "I guess we should really get dressed then, huh?" He took her hand and led her back upstairs into their master bedroom. Throwing open his closet, he crossed his arms over his chest, letting a small 'umph' come from the back of his throat.

Finally coming to the conclusion to wear a light green t-shirt along with cargo shorts, always wearing a gold chain around his neck; it had been his father's. After he got dressed, he collapsed backwards onto their bed and sighed. "Oh yes, I think Vee will love her present." He was extremely confident about that.

"I'm too adorable?" he suddenly said after she had spoken those words in the kitchen. "No, no my love. You're the one whose adorable. I'm just...." he propped himself up on one of his elbows to face her. "I'm just Axel," he laughed, running long fingers through shaggy brown hair. There was no other way to describe the way he felt about her. She was absolutely perfect in every way. He still couldn't believe that he was actually with him, that she was actually his wife.

"Any idea what we're gonna make for lunch for them all?" Axel wondered. Everyone had their own likes and dislikes, it was hard to keep track. One thing he did know was that Dusty and Finn would eat anything, and when he says anything he means anything. Sometimes it's actually quite gross as to what those two will eat.

He fell onto his back once more and stared up at the ceiling. He seriously couldn't believe that he owned this house. Well, that he and his wife owned this house. It was perfect. it was not that far away from his old home, the home that he had grown up in, the home that he and his siblings had spent their lives in. It was absolutely perfect in every way.

Opening the door to her own closet, Emmylyne snatched up the clothes infront she had set there the night before and went to their bathroom. Still listening, of course.

A laugh was heard, and following quickly after, around the corner and back into the room came the young woman. Now fully dressed in an Olive-colored Pleated Silk Camisole and Demin capri pants. Her hair though, was still not properly managed.

"'Just Axel' Well now, isn't that. . .Something." Emmy said, amusedly. Smiling down at Ax as she kneeled beside him, afew stray curls fell infront of her face, grazing his cheek lightly from her leanning over him.

Letting the two strands go from one end to the other of his scarred but still handsome face, She giggled abit at her own silliness. "I was thinking a mixed platter of sandwiches. Freshly cut up fruit, and maybe afew different kind's of chips or crackers." Emmy suggested.

She was definitely excited. About the kid's coming back and about Eli and Finn staying for awhile. Not that she didn't love having time to just Axel, because she did. But..This would be good. The twenty-two year old couldn't remember the last time she had properly visited with either of the old friends.

"It is something and you know it. You married me by the way, so you must be 'just Emmy'," Axel chuckled, making the air quotes when necessary. As she kneeled beside her, his arm instinctively went around her waist and pulled her into him. He swatted at her loose curls as they grazed his face and chuckled.

"Are you trying to make me sneeze love?" he laughed, placing the few curls behind her ears. His hand lingered on her face for a few seconds, grazing her cheek then running his finger lightly from her jaw down to her chin, letting his hand fall onto her lap.

He thought about her lunch suggestions and gave a slight nod. "Sounds perfect to me." He was no picky eater and he always liked whatever Emmy prepared. "Would you like me to pick some fruit from the garden?" he asked, motioning to the outdoors. Axel had really enjoyed the fact that they had fresh fruit all the time.

"You know what else we should do?" the young man asked excitedly. "We should have a bonfire in the backyard!" He always loved bonfires. He and his wife had had a few the past couple of days and he knew that everyone would enjoy them.

He was extremely excited about everyone coming to visit, but he was even more excited that he and Emmy had spent a good amount of their 'monthiversary' alone.

"I did?! I knew there was some reason I lived here.." Emmy responded in mock sarcasm, then added while fighting back laughter: "Ax! Now we sound like some cheesy cartoon family from TV!"

Her gaze never left him. She shrugged innocently at his question, as if to silently say she had no idea what he was talking about.

It took a moment, but she gave a small nod. "I think we have most of it inside. .but I'm not sure if we have any pear's." Pear's were Laih's absolute favorite fruit. The child would eat any fruit, and nearly any vegetable, Surprisingly. "Would you be suuuuch a sweetheart and possibly grab one or two for me?" Emmylyne asked, after having entwined their fingers together she continued to unconsciously play with Axel's hands in her own.

"Hmm?" Emmy tilted her head to the side abit, noting her husband's excitement, she smiled. "Oh! Ax, that's an absolute brilliant idea!" It was, too. A bonefire in the backyard on a summers night, on the first night with everyone back.

Axel chuckled lightly and nodded in agreement. "Let's give it a rest before we start talking like claymation," he laughed, sitting up slightly but leaning on a few of the many pillows that occupied their bed. Of course, his hands never left her. He was definitely the touchy-feely sort of guy and Emmy knew that. He was raised in a family that always was hugging and he had picked up that trait.

A small smile erupted on his face as he looked into her earth toned eyes. "Of course. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for you and you know that." He paused. "And you use that to your advantage," he snickered. His sea green eyes watched as she played with his hands. It comforted him. Then again, anything she did always made him feel at ease.

"I knew you'd like it," the young man said with a cheeky grin. "I'll have to chop some wood." He then laughed. "Or I could just make my wand do it for me, but then again it is good exercise after all." He bit his lip in thought. This definitely was a strange thing to be thinking over.

Leaning over slightly, he planted his lips onto his wife's as his hand subconsciously ran through her hair. "Perfect." Yes, she was absolutely wonderful. How many times could he really say that without it getting old? According to him, he couldn't say it enough. "How is it that I got so lucky as to have you as my wife?" He loved asking silly questions like these, but he loved the answers even more.

Emmy free'd one of his hands, and smacked his shoulder playfully. Giving a clearly fake hurt look, that quickly after turned into a pouting frown. "What are you trying to say, Mister Phoenix..?" She asked, eying him slightly and slipped her hand back into his.

"Since you know either way you'd get it, here comes my oppinion. I think you should save your energy and just use magic..For one, because I'm sure there will be alot of excitement once everyone arrives." She paused briefly, shifting abit. "And for two, I haven't finished my full four years of Healer training yet, which means I haven't learned how to re-attach limbs. Let's not take a trip to my work today, please hun?" Of course, there was atleast the smallest hint of teasing in her tone. Emmy knew there was a very slim to none chance that Axel would get hurt, but still she wanted to tease, and honestly it did worry her abit seeing as it would save all the trouble by just flicking a wand.

Though only moments before she had become the tiniest bit tense, the young women relaxed at his gentle touch. Somehow, Axel was always able to make her feel that everything would be okay, in the least. "Goofball." She then whispered, "Because, it was meant to happen. Darling, or we wouldn't have been here today."

Axel looked at her playfully and chuckled. "Oh you know full well what I'm trying to say, Missus Phoenix." Oh yes, he loved calling her that. He did wish they had their father's real name, kudos to Valencia, but he knew it would just turn into something nasty with the Ministry and that's the last thing he wanted. The only contact he wanted, and had, with them was for them to tell him what his mission was that day. That's it. And he had what he wanted. Why would he screw it up?

Laughing lightly, the young man nodded. "You're right. There's absolutely no way I'm going to the hospital today. Hmmm..maybe tomorrow," he teased, nudging her slightly. "Alrighty, let's get to work." He stood up, heaving a sigh and pulling her with him. He began walking down the stairs, his hand never leaving hers.

"Wait," he turned around to face her on the fourth stair. "Did you call me a goofball?" He couldn't help but laugh at the ridiculous nickname. "You're very clever, you know?" he chuckled, giving her a small peck on the cheek.

Walking into the kitchen, Axel grabbed a basket from the counter then went to the back door. "I'm off." He smiled at her once more before he disappeared into their backyard to pick fruit and chop some wood. "Holy potatoes! It's hot out!"

Emmy halted on the step, as Axel did. Looking at him in disbelief, she giggled lightly. Had he really just taken notice to her choice in words? "Nope, I didn't." She denied.

Pausing at the counterbar, She shook her head. An expression showing her amusement as the dear young man just realized it was hot outside. Alriiight, now what was I suppose to do first?

Letting out a small weary sigh, Emmylyne headed quietly back up the light grey-colored carpet of the wooden staircase. Once back inside the master bedroom she went to their bathroom, to brush her hair out. With abit of help from some kind of hairspray, and water, she managed to get the curls down to a lovely wave in a ponytail.

On her way out of the room completely, She grabbed her forrest green flipflops in one hand and then continued back in the direction of downstairs.

Tossing the thongs lightly by the back-door so she wouldn't have to go back upstairs for those too. And went to the sink, washing her hands thoroughly. Waving her wand gently, the twenty-two year old had used a non-verbal spell afterward to help her abit around the kitchen, and placed her wand out of the way. Enchanting large chip bowls to fly from the top cabinet onto the countertop and a box of mixed chips and crackers both; a party mix if she were correct. The fridge door opened as well, allowing apples, small grape vines, oranges, bananas, plums, and apricots to land on the counterspace next to the sink, ready to be washed and put into another large bowl for everyone to pick out of.

Emmylyne had taken to non-verbal magic easiest probably, She had learned quicker and done better on that, then the others..Apparating for example. Thankfully, she had never caused herself a trip to whatever was the nearest hospital then though, it had just taken longer to actually apparate rather then only getting half of her wherever she wanted to go.

Magic, obviously, was something they did use often in the house. Though, normally She tried being more like a muggle at home, with cooking and cleaning, things like that. Sometimes it was just easier this way. Some moments later, Ems started neatly putting five different kinds of sandwiches around on the oval-shaped platter plate. Again using abit of 'invisible' help to carefully dump the mixed snacks into it's bowl, and hovered it over onto the table followed closely by the sandwiches so she didn't have to leave her area, allowing her to hand-wash the fruits to make sure they had all been cleaned then only dried them the slightest bit with a hand towel, before they reached their next destination: Being chopped up into a big bowl of fruit salad.

Earth toned eyes glancing up from her job, to the clock, Emmy couldn't stop herself from wondering when the kids, Eli and Finn would arrive. Mostily Laih because Faith had told her not to pick the child up, that she would be dropped off.

As her task was finally finished, (All since she had gotten into the kitchen only taking twenty minutes to complete at the most; for she was quite quick in that environment from all her past experience with helping mum abit) Emmy went around and set this bowl down herself, though instead of on the table were the chips and sandwiches went, she placed this one on the counter with the barstools. A large scooping spoon found it's way to the bowl, as did plates and cups to the dining room table.

After the young man was turned to the ghastly heat outside he decided he needed no shirt for his task. Now, he stood with shorts and a dego-tee on as he moved to the rear of the backyard near the fence to collect some firewood for the bonfire they were to have later in the evening.

With a flick of his wand, the wood began chopping itself on a large stump he had found just in the woods near his old house. He had really liked the location of this house because it was only a few blocks away from his old house. Instead of building on it, the Ministry had kept it as a monument for his parents who were so well regarded in the wizarding world. He like that exceptionally much, especially when he found himself wandering aimlessly amongst the rubble.

Taking the basket he had brought outside off the porch, he moved quietly to their many fruit trees and bushes in the right corner of their yard. He kept the yard perfect. In his mind, this was his 'baby'. He began picking a few ripe pears off the branches and placing them gently in the basket he held. Of course, these delicious fruits were for Lainie and he couldn't be happier that she enjoyed such healthy food.

Finally finishing his tasks about a half hour later, Axel had made sure the wood was chopped and placed beside the fire pit. He walked into the house, through the glass doors that led to the kitchen, with basket in hand along with his green t-shirt that was now wiping the sweat from his brow and the top of his chest.

"Alright, I think I need a shower before everyone comes over," he laughed as he stood in front of his wife. He handed her the fruit then pointed to the sweaty mess he had become. "What d'you reckon?" There was no doubt about it, he needed a shower and he needed it bad. Especially since everyone would be over soon. He barely had enough time.

Gracefully placing the basket on the nearest countertop, Emmy gazed back to Axel. Putting her fingertips lightly on his shoulders, to keep a well amount of balance while standing on her toes to give him a peck on the lips. "Thankyou," She said, refuring to the pears.

As she nodded, her ponytail of brownish blonde hair moved side to side. "I think that would be a good idea," Emmylyne agreed. Still, rather surprised it seemed to be that hot outside.

"Of course my love," Axel said sweetly, returning the kiss. He actually liked the fact that she had to stand on tip-toe to reach his lips. He thought it was quite adorable. He flicked her ponytail as it moved then gave her a silly grin while running out of the kitchen and upstairs.

After his shower, the young man slid down the banister and landed on the floor almost catlike. "They're here!" he shouted as he glanced out the window.

"Alrigh', let's go." Finnegan O'Callaghan stepped out of the new muggle car he had bought and opened the trunk. It clearly was a hot summer's day, seeing as he began to sweat as soon as he stepped out into it. He took everyone's bags out of the trunk and handed them out then snapped the trunk closed.

"Axel!" the young man said happily. The two cousins embraced as everyone filed into the house and into the air conditioning. "'Ow've ya been mate?" He dropped his bag at the bottom of the stairs, glancing back out of the window for any signs of his very pregnant wife.

"Finn!" Axel returned the long hug from his cousin with a very happy smile upon his face. He hadn't seen him in quite sometime, seeing as Finn always had a Gaelic Football game to attend to. Thankfully, he was able to take a small vacation to visit him at his new home.

Next, a very mature Valencia walked through the door along side Savannah, dropping her tweed bag on the ground and giving Emmy a tight hug. She had definitely grown up some, seeing as now she was seventeen and allowed to use magic. Yes, she was now a young woman.

She had acquired a pair of clear, black framed glasses that she now wore on her nose. She was quite into art lately and her brother couldn't be happier. The last thing he wanted her to be a an auror. She planned to still follow through with that, but she would be taking art classes in Madrid. She was also the middle child of the Phoenix family, taking the looks of their father just like Axel. She had creamy skin, slightly tanned, and the very same sea green eyes along with long, dark brown hair that curled at the bottom.

"What's for lunch? I'm starving," she said with a nod as she was swept into a tight hug by her brother. "Yes, I love you too Ax," she giggled as he spun her around.

"You're beautiful," Axel said kindly to her as he held her face in his hands. "You're looking more and more like mum everyday...minus the skin color," he chuckled. He received one of her light laughs and an eye roll. Realizing that someone was missing, he furrowed his brow and was about to speak when that person stalked in. "There you are."

"Yes, here I am." Dustin, the youngest of the Phoenix children was the last person to walk in, closely followed by his sister's cat who immediately ran to her side. He was now fifteen years old and he knew that he was 'hot'. He looked nothing like his two siblings except for the facial features. He had their mother's russet colored skin while the other two shared the Irish look, along with chocolate brown eyes. He also had neck-length, curly, black hair which was also a trait of their mother's. Go figure.

He had a guitar case on his back and was clearly agitated that it was so warm out. "It's definitely not this hot out in Ireland," he chuckled. His mood was lightened once he was inside and not in the heat. His stomach growled and he furrowed his brow. He placed his stuff on the ground and leaned each elbow against his sister and sister-in-law, Savannah, who had also arrived with them.

"Someone's hungry," Finn chuckled, patting Dusty on the shoulder. He ran a hand through his own black, curly hair then leaned on the wall. Of course, his intention was to wait for Elissa before he did anything. He gave Emmy a hug and kissed her forehead, exchanging thanks and whatnot for allowing them to stay for a while.

A bright smile graced Emmylyne's face, coming toward the entrance of the fairly large home to greet the the kids, and two dear friends. Though, she was half-surprised not to see with them Elissa.

"Aw, your growning too quickly for me, Valencia." She informed her, rather quietly with a small laugh and returned the warm hug. She was very pleased to have the her sister, sister-in-law and brother-in-law back. It felt like time was going so quickly, and it would only be so long till Vee would want to be on her own, and Dusty and Savannah would be close to it as well.

Savannah smiled a soft, kind smile as they headed inside. She had been just turned thirteen when Em had insisted her coming to stay with her, and Lainie, and now she was standing maybe two to three inches taller from that time, at fifteen years old. She was no longer a young girl but also not quite a young woman, Vannah was a young lady. Only two year's off from graduating. And for that, in someways she was ready, She knew what kind of career she wanted. But in others she still wasn't ready; Like leaving most of her friends behind..leaving the Professor's that had taught her nearly everything she knew, and leaving Hogwarts itself.

To anyone who didn't know her or Emmy, it wasn't obvious in the least that they were sisters. They looked nothing alike, really. She had dark brown (waved at the moment) hair, and bangs that oftenly fell into her ocean blue eyes. And for it being summer, her skintone clearly didn't tan much. It was still quite fair, as if untouched by the sunlight which was not it at all; though still she was definitely not pale.

Leaving her trunk by the door, Savannah kept her messanger bag hanging from her shoulder. Sighing softly in relief as the humidity seemed to vanish once inside. She gave a small nod to agree with Dusty, It was much cooler then this at Finn and Elissa's.

"Thankyou for letting them visit," She said, Hugging her old time friend back, happily, Emmylyne was curious to know of Eli but decided it wouldn't kill her to wait abit longer..the woman was bound to show up soon. "They were good for you two, right?" She asked, refuring to the kids' few week visit with them and then pulled both Dusty and Vanna into a hug.

When you were around someone all the time, until you were seperated for afew days few noticed how much the other person had really grown, this was something Emmylyne was going through. After the three teenagers being gone for about two months, it finally hit her how grown-up each Valencia, Dustin and Savannah were becoming.

"Vina, you've grown into such a pretty young lady. You know who you really remind me of?" She said, stepping back from the two fifteen year olds to let them breath. Her earth toned eyes traveled onto the boy, "And Dustin, you've grown so much too, so handsome. You best be the gentlemen we know you as, and be careful when all those young ladies start falling for you." Em added the last part teasingly, giving him a wink.

Eyebrows raising in a curious manner, Savannah nearly hesitated to ask. "Who?" Then, glanced sideways at Dusty and supressed a giggle. Not that she disagreed, Em was right. But, still, it amused her knowing he knew he was quite fine too.

"Out of me, you, Regina, Madison and the three youngest girls, you definitely look most like Mum." Taking note in Savina's scowl, Emmy continued. "I mean at that age, missy. Take it as a compliment." Finally, after so many moments had passed, she remembered lunch- and how hungry everyone was. Oops.

"Oh! Right, sorry. Everyone into the kitchen for lunch," The young women instructed, leading (Whether they were following or not) the large group down the hall, and to the left inthrough the kitchen archway. They could put the laugage away abit later, let everyone settle now.

With a loud 'Crack' A lovely naturally tanned young woman apparated on the path that led to The Phoenix's front door. Holding a little tiny girl's hand firmly in hers, her other hand made to smooth the back of her grey dress-like V-neck shirt, that nearly covered even her shorts but definitely didn't hide her very large, very round stomach.
Thankfully, Elissa was indeed sure of herself that she would get no bigger before the baby was born. If she did, it would be very little since 'it' was due in afew days over a month.

"Are you sure this is your house, Lainie?" Eli asked, Amber eyes turning to look down at the child whose head could reach no higher then the bottom of her stomach. It was far too hot out here, there was a seen of 'I'm meeeeeelting! Meeeelltttting!' in her head, from some ridiculous muggle movie when, ironically, a witch melted from whatever it was.

Eagerly, the three year old nodded her curly blonde haired head. Responding with obvious excitement to be home, "It is it." And as she got an 'okay' sign of her godmother letting her hand go, The toddler twirled around, the bottom of her grey and pink striped long-sleeved dress spun with her.

"Go on ahead, I'm coming..Eli physically can't run sweetie, your little friend is preventing me." Elissa said, a kind smile playing on her lips as she motioned to her tummy and slowly followed after as the ecstatic little girl ran up to the big white double doors and pushed one open after difficultly playing with the knob, not caring for the patients to wait for the adult.

Flying down from one of the nearest tree's, a gorgeous multi-colored (Mainly light green, turning yellow in the wings, to darker green and blue feathers) parakeet landed carefully on his owner's shoulder as if he had been waiting for her arrivel. "Ello Tookie," Eli cooed, the bird nipped affectionately at a lose strand of brown hair sticking out from her (purposely) messy bun.

After that cat of Savina's, the creamy white and orange dwarf one ran inside from his hiding spot, She turned and closed the door quietly.

Moving speedily down the hall, her brownish green hazel eyes that nearly matched her mother's perfectly, gazed around each thing she past. It only took seconds before she found what she was trying to. Her family. Letting out a rather loud squeal, Lainie took off running not firstly to her mum, but to Axel, tackling him as well as an overly hyper three year old could. "A DADA!" Laih greeted, her tone going abit high-pitched for moments before the tranquilness started to set in. She had, of course, attached herself to his leg; the one thing she could reach with ease.

"Es bebe!" The little one added, bouncing up and down. One hand moved from his knee to grabbing and tugging lightly at his hand, and her other gestured frantically to Elissa's abnormally large stomach.

Valencia giggled lightly, blushing a bit. She wasn't used to all this attention over how old she was getting. She was definitely excited about it, especially because she could now do magic, much to the dismay of Dusty. "I don't feel any older, so that's a plus," she laughed. She had only turned seventeen a few days ago and she hardly felt that it had changed much.

Finn nodded then glared playfully at the three standing there. "They were great," he said with a nod. "Came with me to a few of me games. I 'ad me own cheerin' section!" he laughed. That had been a good day. The three of them, including his wife and little cousin Lainie, had all worn green to cheer on his team. And even better, they had won. Perfect.

Dusty laughed after Emmy pulled him and Savannah into a hug. "Gentleman? I'll see what I can do." He ran his hand through his black curls very dramatically then began laughing as he placed his guitar case gently on the ground. Obviously, he was one for jokes. Anyone who knew him knew that. He was also very into music. He couldn't wait to get upstairs and begin playing his guitar.

As everyone began to file into the kitchen for lunch, Dusty in the lead, Axel hung back and grabbed Valencia's arm as he held fast to Emmy's hand. "If I were you, I'd go upstairs and look in your room. Someone's...left something there," he whispered. She gave him and Emmy a puzzled look, but then bounded up the stairs happily. Axel was extremely proud of her birthday gift that he found in the village. He remembered one of his parent's friends had a small shop full of art supplies and they had helped him pick out the perfect thing. "She's gonna love it!" he said excitedly to his wife.

Throwing the door open to her room that she shared with Savannah, her sea green eyes immediately landed on the thin tan suitcase that was neatly placed on her bed. Her eyebrows furrowed as she moved closer to the case, perching gently on the end of her bed. Her fingers traced the lock on it, then she snapped it open. Inside was watercolors, paint brushes, charcoal pencils, colored pencils, chalk, and many other things she was well capable of drawing with, including a sketchbook that was the same size as the suitcase.

"Oh my goodness..." she breathed, picking up one of the brushes and holding it in her hands as if it would break. She squealed with delight then, snapping it back shut, she ran out of her room, slid down the banister, and threw herself at her brother. "Oh Ax, Ems, they're perfect!" She then threw her arms around Emmy and rocked her back and forth with excitement.

"I'm glad you like them," the young man said with a smile. Before he could get his next words out, Lainie burst through the door, followed by Elissa, and was now clinging to his leg and pulling on his hand. "Hey Eli!" he greeted as he picked up his step-daughter. He threw her into the air then caught her and began tickling her small stomach. He had grown quite fond of her, treating her like his own flesh and blood.

On hearing the arrival of the little one, Finnegan raced out of the kitchen to meet his wife at the front door. He smiled widely then wrapped his arms around her, as best as he could, and gave her a kiss. "'Ow're you feelin'?" he asked as he rubbed her very large belly. Finn could hardly wait until she had the baby. He was going to be a father and he couldn't be happier. Whatever 'it' was, he planned on teaching the Gaelic Soccer. Obviously he was hoping for a boy, but he'd always have a soft spot for a girl.

Seeing as he was the only one left in the kitchen, Dusty followed everyone back to the foyer. "Whoah, Elissa you got big," he joked, seeing as he had only seen her a few hours ago. Elissa was always one of his favorite people because of her sense of humor. He could always joke around with her and he'd get a sassy remark in return. He smiled and went to hug her then sat at the bottom of the stairs.

Valencia rolled her eyes at her brother then went to greet Elissa after Axel let her go after a tight hug. For a pregnant woman, she looked wonderful and that wasn't a lie. Vee could hardly wait for them to have a baby. She looked over to Lainie who was still in her brother's arms and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

It was hard for Emmy not to 'awww' because, that did sound utterly adorable. "That's wonderful. I'm very pleased they all behaved, not that they normally don't.." Just like their group in their kid and teenage years, these teenagers had their mischivious moments too. Though not half as bad as the three boy's had been, Eli would have pointed out Em was along with those plots and plans..and Eli had, of course, been dragged into each and everyone of them too.

Admittedly, the young women was relieved that in any kind of relationship related things, Axel would be more . . . 'There' with Dusty. And she, with Vee and Vina, though that part came naturally to her. Being a girl and all, when they needed advice or just to talk that's what she was there for.

Smiling, rather happily to see the puzzled look, a soft laugh escaped from Emmylyne's lips. "Yes, no doubt there." And no too many minutes later her offically of-age sister-in-law practically tackled Axel, and then her. Possibly even topping Lainie's level of excitement.

"I'm happy," She responded, hugging her back not as tightly. It put a huge smile on her face to see Vee that happy..and to see everyone in the same room, at the same time after quite awhile. It brought that warm feeling, which was quite a comfort right now.

Lainie had bursted into a fit of giggles because of the tickling. Squirming abit in his arms, She chilled out abit after a moment and her thumb magically found it's way into her mouth. Still at three years old, she had a habit of sucking on things and Em was trying to break that habit before the little one got any older.

Pulling her hand away from her face, Lainie wiped her fingers against the dress she wore, de-slobbering them. "Aun Veeee." Waving a small hand around, to say hello, the little one set her head against her step-father's shoulder peacefully and her thumb again slipped through her closed lips.

"Heyloo Ax," Elissa responded in greeting, only then tuning from her state of thought. Giving them all a small wave of her hand, and let it come to rest against her stomach automatically. "As well as one women feeling like a beached-wale could, Finnegan." She said, smiling as her amber eyes met his twilight blue ones.

Returning the hugs she was receiving, carefully, Eli let a small smirk play on her face. "Quite observant, aren't you?" She asked with a raise of her eyebrows to Dustin. Actually very amused by her husbands cousin.

Catching Emmylyne's gaze, Elissa gave another wave of her hand, and a small 'Hi!' Then added, "Oh, as you can see..We had taken Lainie for about a week or two as well, after talking to Faith she agreed we could." Brushing it off as if it had been planned or something.

Eli said her suspicions, and she casted a sideways glance at Lainie, in Axel's arms. It hadn't bugged her in the least, if anything she took notice that they might have tired her out. "You look lovely, by the way El," She added while walking over to give her a gentle hug.

Watching everyone around her, Savannah stood more straight instead of leanning against the wall she had been. "That had been fun, by the way." She said, refuring to Finn's games. She had actually loved them very much, soccor was her life, and Gaelic soccor wasn't so different.

Feeling that nagging hunger again, The girl shook darn bangs from her view, saying rather sheepishly: "Erm..Could we pleeease get lunch now? Maybe?" She was hungry, but didn't want to interrupt..

Having had linked her arm with Finn's, Eli subconsciously stroked her fingers over his hand she held. Shaking her head to one of her childhood friends, now Cousin-in-law too. "Your crazy.." Not that she wasn't always.

Finn chuckled lightly. "Of course, we 'ad some trouble. Nothin' unusual though, of course." His twilight blue eyes moved to Dusty as he spoke. That little bugger was always getting himself into sticky situations. But what boggled Finn even more was how he could get out of them just as easily. He had never known anyone like that, except for the boy's father, his uncle. It made perfect sense where he had gotten that from now.

"What're ya looking at me for?" Dusty accused as he leaned back on the stairs. Well, there had been a girl in Ireland that had fancied him, but he had shown no interest. Maybe it was because she was, in his opinion, a bit 'stalkerish'. He received an eye roll from Finn, along with a ruffling of his hair by his sister. Hey, that was just him and they knew he wouldn't change.

Vee's smile was contagious as she thought about her new art supplies. She already had an easel and was eagerly awaiting for the sun to go down a bit so she could paint by the firelight. Axel had gotten into bonfires lately and she knew he'd have one planned very soon.

She then turned her attention to Lainie in her brother's arms. "Hey babycakes, how're you?" she cooed, playing with her blond curls. She absolutely loved having Lainie in the house. She made everything quite exciting.

Axel kissed his step-daughter's cheek and patted her back as her small head rested against his shoulder. This had been his true test at fatherhood and he thought he was doing quite well. In fact, he and Emmy had been trying for children of their own. He was so excited to share a child with her he absolutely couldn't wait until she said she was pregnant.

"Of course," Finnegan chuckled at his wife's humor. His hand absently rubbed her belly, as if that would make the baby come faster. She was due any day now and he couldn't wait. "Glad ya enjoyed 'em," he said to Savannah. It had been nice to have his own cheering section, especially because he was the mvp.

Dusty narrowed his eyes at Elissa then laughed. "You know me too well Eli," he chuckled. She was so much fun to joke around with. Yeah, he could joke with other people, but it wasn't as much fun as it was with her.

On hearing the word 'lunch' come out of Savannah's mouth, the fifteen year old hopped up. "Yes please!" He grabbed her hand and dragged her into the kitchen with him. Sitting on one of the bar stools, he grabbed a random sandwich off the counter and bit into it. Finally.

Valencia rolled her sea green eyes to the ceiling then followed her brother and sister-in-law into the kitchen where she perched herself neatly on the stool beside Savannah. She picked up a piece of an apple and bit into it, looking completely satisfied. "Nice food spread Ems," she said with a nod. Yeah, there was no way Axel had done all of this.

Walking into the kitchen with Lainie, who was now sitting atop his shoulders as her held her small hands to prevent her from falling, Axel stood on the other side of the counter and watched as his three wards tore into the food. "Vee, you don't have to be so proper. No one here's judging you," he teased, taking note at how perfect she was acting. Then again, she was becoming a young lady and acting that way always helped when looking for a job.

Vee glared at him slightly, then took another small bite of her apple. "Don't be jealous Ax," she chuckled, taking a half of a sandwich and setting it onto her plate.

"Never said I was," Axel teased, giving her a slight nudge. She was definitely becoming a lovely young woman. He actually had to thank their mother for that. Then again, he'd have to thank Emmy too, for talking to her about 'girly' things that he was incapable of doing.

Finn guided his wife into the kitchen and held out one of the chairs for her to sit upon. Yeah, he was pretty much her servant boy now. He would do absolutely anything for her, especially since he was carrying their child. Then again, she could also use magic, but he thought she was doing this out of pure fun.

At the mention of some trouble, in Ireland, then Dusty automatically asked why he was being stared at, Savannah clapped a hand over her mouth to stop from laughing, or atleast muffle it. Oh, she remembered that well. It had been.. truthfully? Hilarious, really.

Seeing the puzzled look Emmy sent her, because it was obvious she knew what Finn was talking about, The fifteen year old shrugged as if to say she didn't know and tilted her head to the side abit, "Awww. Ninnie's tired?"

"I should know you that well Dust. I remember you as a little tiny thing in diapers, running around the house after Vee. Who, admittedly wasn't that much older then you." Elissa said, matter-of-factly. When Dusty had been born, she had known each Emmy, Finn and Axel for abit over two years, so by the time the kid could walk and run around it had been three to four years. The young women really loved having that advantage sometimes, being older and all she remembered all the teenager's now as babies.

Allowing her dear husband to guide her towards the kitchen, She raised an eyebrow again. "You know..You don't need to do that for me, I am capable of most thing's right now." Eli spoke, eying the chair in debate over if she should sit or not. It would be hard to get back up..and she wasn't very sure if that was a wise choice. Finally after a moment, her feet screamed at her to sit, and very carefully she did. They hurt too, from the weight they had never had to carry before the past few months.
Though she hadn't said this, Elissa was actually okay with being as big as she was..it was for the baby, the baby she definitely wanted more then life itself. But, the fact that her boss at The Quibbler had absolutely insisted, then forced a sub to take over for her work as a writer until either it was a month after the baby was born or until she was ready to start back up again after that month, either way, she had atleast a month- actually two if you counted the time it had been, before she could get back to her jounalism, It bugged her, only because someone was filling in on her position. But, in life, you had to make sacrifices. This, was one of them. For the better, even with her and Finnegan's busy lifestyle.

"Geeeze," Savannah mumbled, more so out of surprise at Dustin's sudden movement, dragging her along after. Thankfully she hadn't lost her balance in the least, like she normally did.

Climbing easily into one of the barstools, between both her friends, and siblings by law. Vanna set her feet against the bar-thing on the lower part of her chair and took one of the many different kinds of halved-sandwiches, this one being cheese and ham. "I would agree, we're all family here after all. But, I can see Valencia's matured so much! So, I won't."

Probably not setting the best example, Emmylyne hopped up on the clear counterspace, across from the bar. Watching Valencia in amusement almost as Axel reminded her she didn't have to be so very proper. Since she had known Axel, and the rest of their 'group' as kids, the young woman had probably seen Vee atleast once out of each year, and now to see her standing practically as tall as herself, and so grown up. It was like a slide-show was playing in her mind.

And the other part of her mind, that was trying to solve what she didn't know. What Dustin had clearly gotten into. Just out of curiousity, she wanted to know.

"So..Dust, what's her name?" Emmy asked, cooly. Assuming she had hit it on the nail, since that was one thing her brother's had normally gotten into. Something involving girls, whether it was on their own behalf or because of the girl.

As her earth toned eyes turned slightly, briefly, from the teenage boy, She stared momentarily at Axel, with Lainie. He was such a good father to her, even though she wasn't his own. That put her at abit more ease, knowing he infact cared for the toddler too..and would be just as happy with what she had to tell him although she couldn't deny, it was making her nervous.

The young women stayed rather quiet, enjoying the chattering around her, and couldn't help but take notice when Ems eyes fixed on her daughter and husband. Curiousity coursed through her, slowly and lightly. But a kick from the baby brought her attention back on command. "Hmmh. He, or she, I reassure you all, will be like 'It's' daddy." Eli said, shifting abit in her chair at the table. She was and felt restless, but wasn't going to even attempt getting up because that would do no better. "You've no idea how many times I've felt that this month alone,"

"I is goowd." Lainie said, again removing her thumb and this time after wiping it off, kept it out of her mouth. With difficulty, of course.

Gazing around, The little girl's hazel eyes caught sight of the fruit bowl, and she realized that bit of room still left over in her tummy, for just that. "Ehhehh," Moving one of her hands abit, to get her step-daddies attention, Lainie was able to reach his face still though, and kissed his cheek. "Dow pees," She asked, sweetly.

Dustin glared at Savannah for a moment before nudging her lightly. Ok, maybe the girl wasn't a stalker, but she had shown quite a lot of interest in him while he was visiting. "Diapers?" he said suddenly as he was snapped back into reality by Elissa. "Well then Vee was probably in them as well. We're only two years apart after all," he teased.

Valencia stuck her tongue out at her brother then turned to chuckle with Savannah. He was only two years younger, but that could have been the difference between diapers and underwear. She had always been a bit more advanced when she was little, at least in comparison to her two brothers.

Finn gave his with a small smile before settling into the chair next to her. "I know, I just can't 'elp meself." He placed an arm around his wife and kissed her forehead. To this day he still couldn't believe that she was his. After so many fights they had as kids, which had been a lot, he had finally broken her down enough to show her how much he loved her.

"Sorry!" Dusty laughed after he had pulled Savannah into the kitchen. Was he happy that she was now his sister-in-law? Of course! Especially because they were the same age. It made everything else all that more exciting.

"Thank you Savs," Vee said sweetly, giving her sister a swift kiss on the cheek. She took a bite of her sandwich then, with a flourish, flicked her wand and three liters of soda floated gracefully to the table, dropping down with smalls 'thumps'. She couldn't help but be happy with herself for being able to use magic, without being threatened to be expelled from school.

"Impressive," Axel chuckled as he watched the bottles. He had to admit, she was extremely good with magic. Again, this was another thing she had gotten from their mother. Their father had been exceptional with it as well, but he was nothing compared to his wife. The only thing Vee was lacking from their mother was her skin color. She had had deep russet colored skin, while their father was creamy white. Axel had gotten the white along with Valencia, but Dusty was lucky enough to receive the dark brown skin.

Dusty rolled his chocolate brown eyes towards the ceiling then rested then on Emmylyne, his sister-in-law. "Elizabeth. She lives down the street from Finn and Lis. One night I was sitting in their backyard playing my guitar and she heard me. That's when the...love affair, if you will, started." He sounded completely annoyed the whole time he spoke, but a soft smile crept across his face after he saw the looks on everyone's faces.

"But that's nothing compared to the way that boy looks at my sister!" he growled, jumping up from his stool. What he meant was, the boy down the street from them, Cisco Vega. And apparently Dusty wasn't too happy about that. He was extremely protective of his sister, even though he didn't show it very well.

"Hey now!" Vee squealed, turning on her brother as her golden brown locks whipped around her face. "Cisco is a gentleman!" She began to turn pink after the attention was now turned on her. Cisco was in fact a very nice young man. He had gone to Durmstrang, but had graduated last year so he was a year older than Vee. And Vee really liked this boy. He had dark skin, much like her brother, and was one hundred percent Spanish. Her mother would probably be ecstatic about this relationship. She then looked to Emmy, a 'please-help-me' look in her sea green eyes.

Axel glared slightly, looking at his sister and placing a hand on Dusty's shoulder to calm him down. He was able to push him back into his seat, but he was still fuming. Yeah, he was proud of the young woman she was becoming, but that just meat more attention from boys. He did like this Cisco character, but he was still a boy. And he knew that hormones were coursing through his body, and probably even faster, when he was with her.

Finnegan chuckled lightly. "It was definitely hilarious seeing tha' girl all ova' our Dust," he said with a nod, placing a hand on Axel's shoulder to 'leave it alone'. All in all, it had been quite an eventful time at his house.

"Excellent!" Finn exclaimed as he felt the baby kick. "'It's' got a hard kick, just like 'is dad," he said with a smile. He absolutely couldn't wait until the baby was born and able to learn the basics of Gaelic Football. His team was actually had higher expectations for his baby than he had.

Turning his attention back to his step-daughter, Axel smiled warmly at her and placed her gently on the ground. "I picked some pears for you," he whispered to her, knowing full well that those were her favorite. He then turned back to his wife who was sitting on the counter. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her lightly on the lips. Even though the two had been married for nine months, he was still unbelievably lovestruck.

To her luck, Savannah had finished her sandwich and listened intently, to Dusty explain. Her straight face turned into an amused expression, and then into laughter all in the matter of moments. She couldn't help it, just remembering that night had put her in a fit. "Was She even-" As he suddenly jumped up, growling something darkly about Cisco, She fell silent. Immediantly.

Lis' amber eyes turned towards Finn as he settled next to her. She let her head rest against his shoulder as much as she could, without leanning or shifting too much. It was a wonders they were here today, after all that had happened in their pasts. It was a real wonder how amazing everything had become too, and most of all, that they were after seventeen years still all their for eachother, as the group they had started in at five years old.

Of course, Emmy was quicker to her feet to the situation, but Eli was quicker to speak. "Oy!" She said, sharply. Her spanish-sounding accent sounding slightly stronger then normal, "There will be no attacking of the girl's personal life right now. Enough of that," Although it didn't sound it, she definitely had more bark then bite. But that also didn't mean she didn't have both, cause if you got her going, she did.

Thankfully, Finnegan had stayed out of that one, or rather on the women's point of view instead of going all hot-headed and on impulse, protective. She understood Axel and Dustin, and if the boy had done something further then stare at her or was actually here, that would be another thing. But, he wasn't. And poor Valencia looked like a ripe tomato.

"Really, Finnie, I'd prefer 'it' waited to start practicing for another afew weeks..when I shouldn't feel it," Elissa added, going back to the other topic. She was so quick to become firy, and just as quick to become calm again.

Slipping from her seat on the smooth surface, Emmylyne went forward, and around the counter. Her very best girl friend had gotten a word in before she had, though, this didn't surprise her at all. "Dustin, there is no need to worry about that..You just worry about being stalked, Kay love?" She said, not half as jokingly as that normally would have been when she uttered those words, because this time she wasn't kidding for the most part. He said love affair, and this was only the first..at fifteen. Maybe getting him more concerned with steering clear of 'fangirls' would give Vee the tiniest bit more room to breath, on relationship matters of her own. Axel, she would handle as well.

"We'll talk about that later kiddo," She whispered just loud enough for Valencia to hear, while giving her a comforting hug after the sudden embarassment accured. Pulling back, standing inbetween both of her sisters (in some form) She then continued in no higher of a whisper: "If Vee doesn't mind, you'll be coming along for that chittychat, Vina." It was best to kill two mocking birds with one stone, in these circumstances when you had overly-protective men around acting like hawks.

Lainie was nearly beaming, "Vankoo!" She squealed, her sandels making a clippity-clop sort of sound as she ran from the tile floor to the carpet, passing her mother whom went to resume her spot in the kitchen while she went around the stools that stood far much taller then her. "Aun Vina, fwui pes!" The little one asked, politely, pointing uptowards the fruit bowl she could barely see from where she stood on the ground.

Leanning abit into his arms, Emmy returned the soft peck, "Thankyou." For what she thanked him for, was not said. Whether he knew what she was meaning, or not, she was uncertain and left it at that. For now.

"Okay..How about we all head to the backyard? Swim..and well in Lissie's case, relax." BBQ would be a good idea, for dinner. She thought, casting a glance at her little angel whom waited patiently as Savina got a cup and filled it with fruit for Lainie to take with her. "Laihlaih, do you have your swimsuit on under that?" She asked, and was rather glad to receive the nod she did.

"Yes Em." The brunette nodded lightly, giving the girl she considered a sister, a sympathetic smile then noticed Lainie, "Oh, yep. One sec," Grabbing one of the plastic cups, she filled it using the large spoon, and put the bigger pieces of pear on top before carefully handing it down, and made another after Emmy suggested they go outside. "Okay, sound's good to me." It was probably the best way to clear all tention that ever appeared, Savannah thought.

Moving from her seat, she grabbed the fruit cup with one of those spork spoon fork things, and set it gently down on the table next to the soon-to-be-mum. "You should snack on that,"
