Something strange is going on in Hogwarts. The magical staircases have malfunctioned. Whenever a student steps off the stairs, they end up somewhere in the future! Because of this, Dumbledore has decided to close the school until he can rectify the situation.

Rose, Lily, Hugo, James, and Albus end up staying behind, because their parents are away working and can’t come back. A few other students are in the same predicament. Dumbledore has told them to stay on the lower levels of the castle, and to avoid the stairs at all costs. However, the students get bored and decide to go on a little adventure.

This RP follows their adventures through the future, but what happens if they can’t get back, or if they even want to go back?

Rose glared at Leena. She was going to wind her up more than Hugo. "If he's going to disappear, I'd rather be there than sat 'cowering in the common room' worrying myself silly about where he could end up." She spat back.

Standing up as Leena pulled her from her seat, Rose rolled her eyes. "Who cares which step, just as long as there isn't anything there that is likely to kill us, or worse." She whipped her head around. "I'm not scared Hugo, just cautious."

"Hey! now theres some emotion behind that hard, perfect exterior of yours!" Leena said with sarcasm dripping from her voice. She wasnt trying to be mean, she had just never liked Rose Weasley and the way she pranced around the castle like she owned the place. It irked Leena to no end. That was one of the reasons why she had never made friends with the potter/weasley clan before.

Jack gave her a weak sympathetic smile and stood up with a nod, "Guess we should get going, theres some weird feeling around here." He gazed over at Stefan, with a little sigh he approached him slowly. "C'mon youu." He chirped but instantly realised it wasnt the right place, right time or right atmosphere to be thinking about being that chirpy. Sigh.

Stefan had given up trying to avoid her. He was watching Issy. He couln't help it. He could see that she was still upset, and so was he. That was a given. BUt at least she had Jack to lean on. In the end he had done the right thing.

But then she said something to him. He nodded and got up. THen he actually gave Jack somewhat of a smile. He was trying to make things better. He had to give him credit for that. "There has to be a way out" There was no emotion in his voice. The wall had gone back up.

Hugh whistled, went back and forth on the balls of his feet, looked around, put his hands in his pockets, until finally he said something. "Umm HELLO? Are we going or not? Lets just pick a step and get it over with! If there is something going on with the steps, I want to see whats on the other side!" He said this last sentence with a grin and a 4-year-old look in his eyes.

Issy heard Stefen speaking behind her but she tried to drown him out by mentally humming to herself.She couldnt listen to him,or she might just cry or do something totally girly.She couldnt do that. She needed something to take her mind of him,even though it seemed impossible.

She looked around to a darker corner of the corridor."Maybe this is a stair well or something..there not lite because no-ones using them.."she said,wondering to the end of the corridor.And sure enough,it was a staircase."Bingo.."she said,smiling a little.She turned back to the boys."Here.."she said,not looking at Stefen properly

Stefan followed as Issy said that she had found stairs. He didn't meet her eyes as she turned to both him and Jack. How could he? He coudln't that was the answer.

He nodded and followed behind Jack. They didn't need to be beside each other. He actually should just stay and let them go on without them. He would find his own way back. BUt that was not going to happen. The best he could do is not interact with her at all. For both of their sakes.

ooc: Hugh, Leena and Rose are all about to jump onto a stair and see if they disappear. Stefan, Isabelle and Jack are still in the common room. as is albus and james. I think Hugo is next to Hugh Leena and Rose, however he hasnt joined in on jumping onto the step.

Hugo looked at Leena and Hugh, both of whom had shouted numbers and where about to jump onto the third step. Watching Leena glance at Rose for the final number, he quickly jumped in. "THREE!" he screamed, grabbing both Leena and Roses hands and taking a big leap onto the step.

Hugh heard Leena and Hugo shout the last 2 numbers, closed his eyes, and jumped on the stair with the other 3. He felt like he was being squished under a steamroller. He could barely breathe or sense anything around him, but he knew Hugo, Rose, and Leena were there. The squishing seemed to go on forever, and when Hugh thought he was about to pass out, it all stopped and he, Leena, Rose, and Hugo were all there. But where was there?

OOC: Where should the 4 of them land up? Paris? Egypt? The Bermuda Triangle?

Leena jumped, when Hugo shouted three, on to the thrid step. She left as if all the air had been vacuumed out of the where she was. Down and down she went, searching for air. She couldnt breath, she was gasping but no sound came out and she couldnt even see the others faces as she was momentarily blind. Finally the air was back as was her vision. She looked at Hugh, he didnt look as well either. Leena looked around and recognized the style of the place immediately.

ooc: How about Dominican republic? or is it not a known enough place.

Rose slammed her eyes shut as they made the jump. She knew she should regret doing this, but at least they were all going together. Before she knew it, Rose hit the ground beneath her and stumbled slightly before falling to the floor. "That was graceful." She muttered to herself, before jumping up. It took a few seconds for her eyes to adjust to so much daylight after being in the castle. "Where are we? When are we?" She mused aloud, turning around to take in her surroundings.

OOC: Dominican Republic is fine by me.

Hugh looked around and took everything in. It was beautiful, but also terrifying. Then he heard a small pop! and Rose was there. He smiled and said, "I don't know! But it's beautiful, isn't it?" He added, looking at the surroundings and her. Man, she was pretty.

Leena looked at Rose and Hugh "The Dominican Republic of course!" She had traveled to the Dominican Republic many times with her parents. Although she had never been to this exact spot, there had to be a place she knew somewhere around here. "My parents and I travel all over the muggle world during the holidays. They love this place." Leena was happy she had been taken to semi familiar place.

Hugh nodded at Leena and said, "The Dominican Republic? I've never heard of it." He said, just noticing Hugo wasn't there. "Hey guys, did Hugo come with us?" He asked then turning to Rose asked, "And Rose, have you ever been to the Domincan Republic? I haven't." He said, grinning and looking for someone who could tell them exactly where they were.

OOC: Hey guys! I just wanted to let you know that this week and next week I will not be on SS at all!

(Stupid vacations to faraway places) And both places I'm going have NO internet connection! *sobs* So, yeah! If anyone wants to take over Hugh for me, that would be great! Thanks luvvies! Your the bestest!

Lily ran up to her cousins and friends as they jumped onto the step. "You've got to be kidding me." She muttered as they disappeared. Now she was stuck in Hogwarts on her own. She wondered if she would reach the same place as them if she jumped onto the step but was unsure if she could face an adventure on her own if she didn't end up where they were.

OOC: Do you think if she jumps she can end up with the people that already have?

Hugo fell down...down, down. And this time he knew it wasn't his shoelaces. Looking around at the unfamiliar landscape, his head felt groggy. "Erm, guys? Guys? Where are we? Any chance of getting my head on a vase..." Was all he managed to get out, befor his head hit the floor with a dull thud.

ooc: After tonight, I'm gonna be of SS for a week. If Hugo is needed, feel free to take over from me!

Issy had no idea where she was going.She felt a wave of panic wash over her completely.She didnt recognise where she was,probably because she'd never been down this corridor before.She felt the thick air,it was thick with awkwardness, it was getting hard to breathe.She couldnt stand this.

In the end she turned to both boys and sighed.Jack seemed to be away in the clouds but Stefen,he looked like something had changed him,and he wasnt the arrogant self-centered abnoxious boy he had been five minutes prior.She looked at him for a moment,wanting him to meet her gaze.He hadnt,she'd noticed.

He was bugging her alot.

Stefan followed them down the corridor. He avoided the gaze of others. It was too much to look at Issy and Jack, well he could tell that there was tention between the two. He needed to put that wall back, and he sure was trying. But at the same time he couldn't. THe only thing that he wanted now was for them to get back. So he could go seclude himself down in the dungeons. It would save everyone alot of trouble.

But then he had that feeling. The one where you know that someone is looking at you. Please be Jack. THat was all that he could think as he looked up. Of course it wasn't, and part of him had known that it wouldn't be. His eyes met with Issys. He didn't say anything. BUt he didnt' look away. He couldn't.
