Stefan had given up trying to avoid her. He was watching Issy. He couln't help it. He could see that she was still upset, and so was he. That was a given. BUt at least she had Jack to lean on. In the end he had done the right thing.
But then she said something to him. He nodded and got up. THen he actually gave Jack somewhat of a smile. He was trying to make things better. He had to give him credit for that. "There has to be a way out" There was no emotion in his voice. The wall had gone back up. |
