Something strange is going on in Hogwarts. The magical staircases have malfunctioned. Whenever a student steps off the stairs, they end up somewhere in the future! Because of this, Dumbledore has decided to close the school until he can rectify the situation.

Rose, Lily, Hugo, James, and Albus end up staying behind, because their parents are away working and can’t come back. A few other students are in the same predicament. Dumbledore has told them to stay on the lower levels of the castle, and to avoid the stairs at all costs. However, the students get bored and decide to go on a little adventure.

This RP follows their adventures through the future, but what happens if they can’t get back, or if they even want to go back?

Stefan didn't say anything to her, but merely listened. Did she really think that he was just playing a game for her. Well soon she would get a wake up call. he wasn't. But she was right about one thing. He hadn't always been like this. It was a front that he had put up back when he was twelve.

Then he watched as she came over and sat next to him. Well it sure didn't seem like he was chasing her off. "Well we wouldn't want to bore her royal highness now would we" He said, no laughter in his voice. But he wasn't one to deprive someone of what they wanted. Well actually he was but he was in a gernerous mood at the moment. "My parents both died when I was a second year. Hows that for something about me" THat was actually a pretty big something, but it was the first thing that he didn't show out on the surface.

Issy could see he was thinking,and that little shine had gone out of his eyes.She smiled a little and then looked down.She wondered if she'd hit a nerve or something,and clearly she had.She didnt really want to say anything else,so she just smiled.

She looked at him with a smile,"I wouldnt say Royal Hignness"she said to him,shrugging,"But I dont really know much about you.."she said to him.She looked at him,waiting for the answer.When he answered it was like someone had punched her in the stomach.Issys smile faded into a look of shock."I-"she said,"Im sorry.."she said,shaking her head,"I know you dont want to hear it, because someones pitty doesnt make the slighest of differences.."she said to him,shrugging.

Lily smiled at Leena. "Of course I'll give you a hand if you want, I wouldn't say I'm that great at Potions though." She said modestly. She was good at Potions but she didn't have any flare to her potion making because she didn't love the subject. It was a shame really but she just didn't enjoy the subject too much. "Can you believe we're stuck in the dungeons of all places!" Lily complained to Hugh, Leena and Floresca with a pout on her face. She needed someone to vent her frustration to.

Jack moved away from Issy and Stefan and walked back over to his chair as he traced the laces on his shoes lolling his head side to side. The laces went inside the shoes? Now that was just amazing.

That must not have been what she was expecting him to say. He had known that even before he said it. But she had irritated him, so he had told her one of the most depressing things about his life. He was actually surprised that she hadn't realized that that was the reason he had put up the front so many years before.

But now that he could see he truely had her upset it was not the reaction that he had been expecting. Normally making people upset didn't effect him at all. Actually he rather enjoyed it. But this time, he felt guilty. well that was an emotion he hadn't felt in ages.

He bent down so that she could see him even with her head down. "Hey its fine, they are dead and I got over it" He said to her with a genuine smile this time. But then he sat back up. The smile left his face but there was a look in his eyes that said that he wasn't as tough as everyone thought. But his eyes were te only thing that showed that.

He was only teasing her, but he was somewhat serious. Him? Write a letter?! HA! He could barely do his homework without his sisters help.

"And anyway," Hugo pressed. "They didn't even bother to write to me to tell me they were going to Africa, so why should I write to them?" Pausing, and inwardly fuming, Hugo followed his sisters gaze. Eyes landing on his cousin Lily, Hugos grin was back, and he bounded over to her, pulling his sisters hair lightly on the way.

"Lily!" he cried, before covering his mouth dramaticly. "I know," he continued, in the loudest stage whisper possible. "Lets be bad little children. Lets defy the wishes of our older, more annoying, swottier big siblings and go EXPLORE THE EMPTY CASTLE!" Hugo ended in a shout, and looked around the room, winking at the couple of girls Lily had been talking to.

Lily looked up with a grin as she heard Hugo calling to her. "Hugo!" She called back enthusiastically. She giggled at his stage whisper and her eyes lit up with excitement at the thought of going and exploring the castle. She glanced around the room, wondering if any of the others would join them and who would try to stop them. "That sounds like a plan to me Hugo." She replied loudly, a mischevious smirk on her pretty face. She looked down at her clothes, a pair of skinny jeans, boots and an old Quidditch jersey, perfect for exploring the castle. Lily was glad she had decided on wearing jeans in the cold dungeons rather than her usual attire of skirts. She looked at Floresca, Hugh and Leena. "Any of you guys wanna join us?" She asked, excitement obvious in her voice as she stood up and crossed to stand beside her cousin.

"Ofcourse!" Leena said, a wide smile now on her face, "I went out earlier without any trouble. we should be able to not be noticed" She walked over to Hugo, completely forget her and Lily's conversation on the different dormitories.
"Leena Becker" Leena said to the boy Lily was standing next to. "Your Hugo, i'm assuming?"

Jack heard somebody shout and instantly lifted his head up. "Explore? But were not allowed, we were told that." He pointed out moving his fingers from his laces and to the arm on the armchiar he was residing on at that moment. It looked as if the others wanted to though.

"Do you honestly think their gonna notice or care if we go." Leena said turning her head so she saw jack out of the corner of her eye. She had never liked him very much. She thought he was way to immature for his age.

Lily rolled her eyes at the guy who was telling them they weren't allowed to leave the dungeons. That was all part of the fun! A little rule-breaking never did anyone any harm..not any serious permenant harm anyway. "We're not going to be stupid about it, we're just going to look around a bit. Seeing the same four walls all the time is enough to bore anyone to tears!" She explained to the boy, she didn't want to have to worry about teachers looking for them if someone told on them. If people wanted to stay here then fine but Lily didn't think it was fair that they mess up other people's fun!

Hugh saw that Leena and Lily were talking about NOT following the rules. These 2 girls and him were going to become VERY good friends, rule-breaking was his favorite hobby. "So, are we breaking out of this dump or not?" He asked them, impatiently. Although the Dungeon's were where Hugh was most during the year, they still looked shabby and dirty, but still modern.

Lily smiled broadly at her and Hugo's newly acquired partners in mischeif. The youngest of the Weasley and Potter's clans were known for teaming up and causing chaos, they were favourites of their Uncle George! "So glad you guys are up for it, let's go!" She said cheerfully.

Lily tilted her head to the side slightly as she thought. "Hmm..well lets just get out where we can actually see the outside world!" She said, glancing around at the high, cold stone walls of the dungeons. She was so used to the sun streaming through the curtains when she woke up in the morning, or being able to walk to the other side of the castle and watch the sunset before curfew, or sometimes after. Lily really hoped they wouldn't be stuck in the dungeons for long.

Lily turned her head to Hugh. "Find out ourselves? Now that sounds like a plan!" She said, giggling excitedly. She always wanted to have adventures like her parents and aunties and uncles. The tales of Harry Potter and his friends had been fantasied a bit so that they seemed less dangerous for children.
