Something strange is going on in Hogwarts. The magical staircases have malfunctioned. Whenever a student steps off the stairs, they end up somewhere in the future! Because of this, Dumbledore has decided to close the school until he can rectify the situation.

Rose, Lily, Hugo, James, and Albus end up staying behind, because their parents are away working and can’t come back. A few other students are in the same predicament. Dumbledore has told them to stay on the lower levels of the castle, and to avoid the stairs at all costs. However, the students get bored and decide to go on a little adventure.

This RP follows their adventures through the future, but what happens if they can’t get back, or if they even want to go back?

Personality: Stefan is the type of guy that everyone wants to get to know. He just has that dark and mysterious feel to him. But unlike most other people, he is not looking for attention. He actually would just rather be left alone and keep to himself. All he wants is to make it through school. Maybe all that he needs is for the right friend or girl..... to let him feel like he can let his guard down. BUt that isn't going to happen easily. He is extremely secretive, but hey thats just part of his charm.

Rose Weasley curled her feet up under herself, propping Hogwarts: A History on the arm of her chair. She knew the book inside out, but it was always a safe bet when there wasn't anything else to read. She sighed when she thought about how there was a serious lack of books in their make-shift common room. She couldn't access the library because of the stupid staircases.

Rose could remember the speech McGonagall gave explaining the closure of the school because four students had somehow ended up in Ancient Egypt trying to get to their Transfiguration classes. She also remembered sitting in her office being told her parents were in Africa, and herself and her brother would have to stay in the dungeons until they returned.

Thinking of her brother, she looked around the common room hoping to see him, to ask if he had written to their parents recently. She kept meaning to.

Stefan walked into the dungeons. This was pretty much his normal setting so it wasn't anything too out of the ordinary. He looked around and the only person that he saw in there was one girl. What was her name again??? Ruth, Ruby, no Rose. Yes that was it. But what difference did it make to him anyways what her name was. It would be of no use to him.

He walked over to one of the empty chairs on the other side of the room and sat down. That was typical for him. He normally didn't associate with everyone else around here. He liked being alone more than anything. Thats what he was known for, the unsocial one, and the was used to it.

McGonagall had called him into her office right before they sent everyone else out saying that he would be staying there for know. He didn't get it, sure his parents were dead but every summer he had been on his own why couldn't it just be like that now. Apparently the Rose girl had probably had the same conversation with her. Once again not like it really made a difference to him.

Albus made his way down to the dungeon, just the place he wanted to be, yeah right. HA atleast knew he would have the company of his older brother and younger sister. Was that really a comfort, who knew? As he entered the dungeon he saw Rose and Stefan were there. He understood why Rose was there, likely the same reason he was because there parents made the trip to Afrika together and now both the Weasley and Potter family would be stuck here till there return, great. But why was Stefan here? Stefan was never to social and a question of 'Why are you here?', probably would not help things much there. Since Rose was there he thought he might as well say something and said, "Hey Rose, I guess we're in for the long hull eh?", Albus said smirking a little.

Lily stomped her way to the dungeons, she was definitely not happy at these arrangements. Hogwarts was the one place where she had freedom but now even there she was confined! At least if she'd got to go home she'd be able to go where she wanted within the building. Not being able to use the staircases was making doing anything at Hogwarts extremely difficult. She sighed and looked up as she entered the dungeons, upon seeing her older brother and cousin she smiled slightly, at least she wasn't stuck here with a bunch of people she didn't know. She bounded over to her relatives. "What ya doing?" She asked her from behind Albus, hoping to make him jump.

James walked into his make-shift common room, grinning, despite everything. Spotting Lily, Albus and Rose, he came over to them. "Hey guys," he said. He didn't actually mind being her all that much. He was just going along with it, though he did want to do something... Adventurous, perhaps.

Floresca, meanwhile, was sitting on a chair, her sketchpad on her lap, drawing. She wasn't anti-social, but sometimes she just liked doing things by herself. She wouldn't have minded company at the moment, she was just too distracted in drawing to notice the others.

Isabella hadnt been up long, so her world was a little crazy right about now.She had a bit of headache from last night,they'd been up all night in her dorm talking and giggling about everything. So today, wasnt a good day so far.It was going to be long and tiring.

But then those familiar voices started to become apparent.They made her smile.These were the voices she didnt mind in the morning.Belle turned a corner and there they were."Hey guys..whats going on?"she asked walking up to them in a smooth fashion

"Isabella," James flashed her a charming smile. "I don't know, I just got here." He replied to her question. He had just been flying on his broom, really. "What have you been doing?" He said, lying down lazily on a couch, and still looking at Isabella. She looked sort of tired, too, but yeah. He rested his hands behind his head, tilting his head to the side.

Leena walked down the usual path she would take to get to her common room. However she turned a corner early and walked into a large room already filled with people. From the looks of it only one other Syltherin. Not even a house mate i would talk to! Leena thought. She walked past a small group of people. She glanced only for a second at them, Then took a seat next to Stefan
"Can you believe how uncomfortable they all look?" She said the him A small smile playing on Leenas lips while her eyebrows arched. She looked again at the group, this time longer. "I swear. its not like they've never been down here before"

Stefan watched as people from all of the other houses came in. most of them were the children of the infamous Harry Potter and his friends. They probably thought that they were all big and bad because of that. Well this would be an interesting stay down in the dungeons. He saw one girl come in. What was her name something with a F. That was all he knew, he never really made an effort to know anyone's names. There was no need. She was drawing. that intrigued him. But just as he was debating if he wanted to get up and inconspiscuisly go and look at what she was drawing someone came and sat down next to him.

Wow she had nerve. That was all he could say. No one ever really came up to him and started a conversation. "Yea, I guess so" He told her. His voice dark and mysterious. That was all that he said. He had been raised to speak when you've been spoken to, but that didn't mean he had to go and have a full conversation with the girl.

Then he watched as someone else walked in and join the mini Potter Gang. That was how he thought of them. She seemed rather bubbly. Especially for having to stay down here in the dungeons when she clearly wasn't in slytherin. he listened in on the conversation hoping to catch her name Isabella. He kept watching the girl. He didn't know why but she just seemed interesting to him. He could already tell that things were going to be strange aroud here.

Leena had heard Stefan was lik this, short with anyone he didnt like or just thought shouldnt bother him, but she had hoped the rumors were wrong. guess not she thought. "Why are you staring at Isabella?" Leena's eyes moved to look at him but her head stayed facing forward "If you want to say something just get up and go talk her. I hear the potters don't bite."

Jack did NOT like this new common room. He gave a small scowl as he entered and took a seat forcing his hand hard down onto his palm. He wasnt in a good mood, he liked the moving stairs. He liked them alot. He assessed who was in there, he knew the Potters and Weasleys. And he knew the other girl with them. Or did he? He had seen her around, that was it. He just never spoke to her. He gave her a smile and caught the conversation in which her name was mentioned. It was a pretty name. Very pretty name.

Stefan realized that the girl had expected him to be more social. Well she shouldn't get her hopes up. Thats just not how he was. Surely she had heard, he just didnt socalize. Most people steared clear of him. He had to give her credit though she hadn't left. Most people would have. that didn't change anything though.

He was still watching Isabella when he heard what the girl had said. "I would rather not" Short and sweet. Well not excactly sweet. His eyes never left the other girl though. He didn't know why but she was entriguing him. He wasn't used to this.

She heard two others enter,two boys.She smiled at them both."Hi.."she said,sweetly and sofly.She didnt really know them,but not knowing someone never usually stopped her from talking to them.She walked over to them both."I dont think Ive met you before..weird..but then again,Hogwarts is a big place.."she said,"Im Isabella..by Belle or Issy will do.."she said,and then turned to the girl."Hi Lee...."she said to her,"I was meant to come to find you..I have one of your books.."she said,shrugging."No idea how.."she said

Reed watched as the girl who he found very interesting come towards him. Strange...... Maybe she had seen him looking at her. Well she had even more nerve than the other slytherin girl who had tried talking to him before. Instead of just coming and saying something short like the other one had she came and was really trying to strike up a conversation. He was tempted to actually talk to this girl, but then again that went against his usual appearance. "Well Issy, It doesn't really surprise me that we have met" he told her his eyes not leaving her for one moment. "Stefan Gilbert" Was all he said that was as much of in introduction that she was going to get out of him.

Hugo wandered into their makeshift Common Room nodding here and there at the other people in the room. Hugo felt odd, and it wasn't just to do with the fact that they were in a room he wasn't used to, the school was empty and dangerous, or that everyone except himself and a few others had gone home. No, a little bit was to do with the fact that his parents were in AFRICA, and hadn't even bothered to tell him! Well, thay'd probably told Rose, and she had forgotten to pass the message on. The fifteen year old rolled his blue eyes.

By this time, Hugo had noticed his sister on the other side of the room, curled up in one of the chairs, and he made his way over too her. Standing by the arm of the chair, Hugo realised that Rose was reading. AGAIN. Leaning over and grabbing the book from beneath her eyes, he flicked it over and read the front cover. "Hogwarts: A History? Pssh! Anyone would say you were just like mum!" Hugos voice was laced with a light layer of sarcasm, but anyone could see, from his laughing eyes and cheeky grin, that he was joking.

Lily flopped onto a seat and looked around her, bored. She rolled her eyes at her older brother James, he was such a show-off with his Quidditch some times. She looked around the common room for someone who was her age that she could talk to, most of the people here seemed to be a year or two older than her. The role of annoying little sister got boring, very fast. She noticed her cousin Hugo come in and start talking to Rose, Hugo was the same age as her but Lily had a funny feeling he wouldn't want to sit and gossip with her!
The green-eyed girl impatiently tapped her foot, being stuck in the makeshift common room was going to drive her crazy. She didn't understand why they couldn't just not use the moving staircases and go about their business as normal. Lily was tempted to go to the staircases, she was intrigued by what might happen, but she knew she couldn't go on her own otherwise who knew what would happen to her!

This girl was forward. Stefan liked that, he liked that very much. "not excactly" The truth that if he got confortable enough around someone that he probably would talk, maybe even alot. But he didn't let his guard down easily. Trust was hard to gain with him, but it could be done. "Your blunt" He told the girl with a mischievious smile. "Thats a good quality to have" He added. He didn't say anything else when she said that it was nice to meet him. He had already said quiet a bit to her in the past few seconds and wasn't going to push it. Then his reputation might change to a softy and he couldn't have that happen now could he.
