Merlin, I know my titles are lame.

But I promise, the plot isn't as bad as the title makes it sound.

The Plot

It's the holiday season at Hogwarts and the castle is virtually empty during this time of year. Except for a group of students who decide to stay at the castle and relax with their friends there.

But soon, it gets boring. There's not much to do in the empty castle so they do the only thing there is left to do and decide to explore the dungeons. Many students tend to avoid the dingy underground of Hogwarts but it'll keep them busy for a while until something better and more fun comes along.

And while they're down in the dungeons, the students make a rather interesting discovery. There's a mysterious ghost down there. But it's not a normal ghost. It's the spirit of a young lady. She's actually a beautiful, young ghost and in time the students soon learn more about her.

She's a cursed spirit. Her soul was cursed by a warlock centuries ago and she's been doomed to roam the earth for all eternity. Though, there are quirks. Unlike ghosts, she can actually possess the bodies of living beings (she's a spirit rather than a ghost after all). Turns out though, she's been lonely and now that students have crossed her path, she's going to have some fun of her own.

The mischievous spirit is now out to cause mayhem around Hogwarts. She's possessing students and teachers and causing trouble. The group of students that found her have now decided though that she has to go. They have to find someway to break the curse so that her spirit will be free and move on to rest. Until they figure something out though, they're going to have to try and keep her under control.

The Rules

There's only a couple of rules, really:
1. If you join please stay active! Or if you're going to drop out, let us know so we don't think your character is still in play.
2. Don't control other people's characters. Stick to your own, please.

There's no limit on the amount of characters you can have. Just have fun!

As far as characters go, we'll obviously need students and of course the mayhem-causing spirit. As mentioned in the plot, she has the ability to possess others. You don't have to possess any of the main characters, you can just have random teachers and students possessed. Though if you would like her to temporarily possess another person's character, make sure it's okay with that person. PM them and ask before doing anything. But not long term. Only for a few posts or so (in which case, you might want to have two charries so if you do let the spirit possess one of your charries, you still have the other you can control).

And if you do decide to play the spirit, you can just have fun with her. Make up her looks, background, personality, etc. Just keep to any personality traits mentioned in the plot (such as the fact that she is mischievous).

Jake shrugged, and gave her a knowing smile. "Very well...Jaden?"

Jaden grinned excitedly, and snatched both chocolate frogs off his brother, before stuffing them in his pocket. "Thanks, Jacki-boy," he said with a wink, punching him gently on the shoulder. "Alli? Do you want one?" he asked with a grin.

Jake sighed, "Your welcome, Jay," he said, pulling a face.

"We could always buy another pack at the HOgsmeade trip," Chin said. Apart from Steven who makes her laugh, Jake and JAden's another reason. "Why don't you guys eat breakfast now?"

Jake frowned slightly, as he picked up a piece of toast, "That may be a good idea," he said with a small laugh. He got some peanut butter and jelly, and quickly spread it onto his toast, taking a bite out of it as soon as humanly possible. He'd forgotten how hungry he was.

Jaden on the otherhand loved the idea of breakfast, and poured a whole load of stuff onto his toast including: the fillings of a pumpkin pasty, peanut butter, his chocolate frog, some lettuce, and a little bit of chocolate sauce. He looked at it hungrily, and hastily ate it up in record time, unlike his brother who ate it at normal speed.

Jake watched his brother curiously, an amused expression on his face. He'd come to a conclusion: Jaden was 100% crazy! (But in a good way)!

"Yeah," said Raquel agreeing with Maddie. "It's freezing! It's amazing if you think this weather is 'alright.'" She looked at Oliver like he was mad but didn't say anything and shook her head lightly.

Maddie nodded and picked a handful of snow, throwing it at the both of them, laughing as she did so.

"Hey," said Raquel as the snow hit the back of her head. She didn't hesitate in bending down and scooping up a handful of snow and forming a crude ball. She then threw it at Maddie. "Gotcha!" she laughed triumphantly.

It somewhat made her feel better.
The whole Ministry issue had taken over the school.
Students would have the daily prophet propped up behind the couldrons just to read it again.
Allitrya strolled out to the Quidditch pitch and looked up into the blank sky.
Her grin slowly faded away as the beautiful, clear sky reminded her of her parents. She sat down on the grass and tucked her knees into her hands feeling melancholy.

As Allirtya watched to people having a conference of some sort, she decided she had to get up sooner or later. She strolled of dragging her school bag over. She was thinking about bunking off Transfiguration when...she felt a cold hand tapping at her back...

"I've ruined everything?" repeated Shane. He hadn't seemed to hear her last words. Her first words had puzzled him to no end. "What is it mean by everything?" he asked. "I had no idea there was anything to ruin in the first place."

"I do care about you," sighed Shane. He was horrible and comforting girls. Maybe he should look for Raquel and leave her with the hysterical Laylee. "If I didn't give a damn about you, I wouldn't be here bothering you about what was wrong." And it was true. Shane could have left her be, but at least he was trying. He had to get some credit for that at least.

"It's really fun," Steven said as he gazed at the lake. he remembered someone. Someone he usually spends the time with aside from his twin Chinnie. Chinnie knew who that person is, and she might have thought it would be better for Steven to get preoccupied with things than to think about that person.

Hearing Cindy say they should go back to the castle, she's feeling cold now. He took off hi jacket and wrapped it on Cindy's. And for a moment Steven stood there faced to faced with her. He looked into her eyes, no, he thought. "We should go," Steven snapped as he turned to the other direction.

Chinnie on the other hand watched Jake eat his food back at the great hall. Instead of reading he had just distracted her from doing so. She'll go back reading afterwards.

Laylee couldn't help herself, a grin spread across her face and she pulled Shane into an unexpected hug. "Sorry Shane," She said letting go and pulling him towards the kitchens.

Shane now looked even more surprised. One moment she was upset with him and the next she was perfectly fine and dragging him off to the kitchens. What was with girls? She was definitely having a mood swing, a though he would keep to himself. "I, er, forgive you," said Shane blinking several times still trying to absorb what had just happened. It was all too much for his little, boy brain.

"That's good, I'm sorry for freaking out... Can we just try and forget this?" She asked thinking that she would never, ever be able to forget something this big. She looked at him with a smirk. "First one to the kitchens." She said now running.
