Merlin, I know my titles are lame.

But I promise, the plot isn't as bad as the title makes it sound.

The Plot

It's the holiday season at Hogwarts and the castle is virtually empty during this time of year. Except for a group of students who decide to stay at the castle and relax with their friends there.

But soon, it gets boring. There's not much to do in the empty castle so they do the only thing there is left to do and decide to explore the dungeons. Many students tend to avoid the dingy underground of Hogwarts but it'll keep them busy for a while until something better and more fun comes along.

And while they're down in the dungeons, the students make a rather interesting discovery. There's a mysterious ghost down there. But it's not a normal ghost. It's the spirit of a young lady. She's actually a beautiful, young ghost and in time the students soon learn more about her.

She's a cursed spirit. Her soul was cursed by a warlock centuries ago and she's been doomed to roam the earth for all eternity. Though, there are quirks. Unlike ghosts, she can actually possess the bodies of living beings (she's a spirit rather than a ghost after all). Turns out though, she's been lonely and now that students have crossed her path, she's going to have some fun of her own.

The mischievous spirit is now out to cause mayhem around Hogwarts. She's possessing students and teachers and causing trouble. The group of students that found her have now decided though that she has to go. They have to find someway to break the curse so that her spirit will be free and move on to rest. Until they figure something out though, they're going to have to try and keep her under control.

The Rules

There's only a couple of rules, really:
1. If you join please stay active! Or if you're going to drop out, let us know so we don't think your character is still in play.
2. Don't control other people's characters. Stick to your own, please.

There's no limit on the amount of characters you can have. Just have fun!

As far as characters go, we'll obviously need students and of course the mayhem-causing spirit. As mentioned in the plot, she has the ability to possess others. You don't have to possess any of the main characters, you can just have random teachers and students possessed. Though if you would like her to temporarily possess another person's character, make sure it's okay with that person. PM them and ask before doing anything. But not long term. Only for a few posts or so (in which case, you might want to have two charries so if you do let the spirit possess one of your charries, you still have the other you can control).

And if you do decide to play the spirit, you can just have fun with her. Make up her looks, background, personality, etc. Just keep to any personality traits mentioned in the plot (such as the fact that she is mischievous).

"Absolutely," Nosferatu said smiling. She couldn't wait to go down to the dungeons, she knew every nook and cranny like the back of her hand. "I know the dungeons like the back of my hand," she added.

She always liked those kind of things.
"This is much better than my idea!" she said happily.
SHe twirled then walked off.
It was more like dancing off because her every move seemed like dancing.

Cindy wondered what they were talking about, until she realized that Shane had spoken and she too busy watching Steve out of the corner of her eyes hadn't noticed. "Oh Shane, I'm so sorry!" She said sounding really sorry, "I didn't mean to ignore you or something, I was .. " She trailed off, she hoped Shane wasn't offended. "I agree with you, let's explore the dungeons" She added trying to make up for her short hearing range.

Looking back at Cindy, "Does staring Steven makes you think you're the only two individuals here in the world?" she whispered only for Cindy to hear. She beamed at her and giggled.

Steven noticed her twin giggling, "Chin, why?" he asked, "Didn't even know the dungeons would make you giggle."

ANd Chinnie rolled her eyes on him, "cut it out, Steve," she snapped.

Steven greeted Nosferatu with a smile, "Hi Nosferatu," he said, "It's Steven." He extended his hand for her to shake.

"Sorry..." Chinnie apologised. BAck in the dungeons thing, "ALright, so whoever who really knows the dungeons will lead us there." It wasn't her real attitude to wander around especially roaming the dungeons.

"Hey what's wrong with you two?" Steven asked as he put his hand down.

"That is not true!" said Shane to Laylee. "I'm okay with not being the center of attention. I just don't think people should ignore me when I'm trying to catch their attention. That's all there is to it."

"Seems like it," said Raquel to Maddie as she followed Shane down to the dungeons. "I mean I'm following so I can't be positive, but since we're almost at the dungeons, that's where it seems we're headed."

Nosferatu smiled and said, "Hello," to the twins. She even shook Steven's hand, not something she likes doing, being touched. Especially with what she has to deal with at home. "Where in the dungeons do you all want to go first?" she asked aloud.

Allitrya skipped behind the rest to the ever longed dungeons.
She was buzzing to see it.
She just couldn't wait.
SHe laughed along with them (even if it wasn't funny)

"Good to know," grinned Shane at Cindy. He then stop as they reached the dungeons. This was always the hardest part--choosing which path to go on. The dungeons were such a maze. "So, where should we go?" he asked the group. "Left or right?"

"Left?" suggested Raquel as she peeked from behind Shane. "Definitely left. The Slytherin common room is to the right. Don't want to run into any of them."

Oliver nodded in agreement. "Left, definatly," he said. He was being quiet, like always, but he felt the need to speak up.

Maddie nodded and smiled lightly, wondering what was left. She shivvered and wrapped her robe tightly around her; it was getting colder and colder as they walked.

Laylee happily walked along with the group but she too was starting to feel a chill. She did look around interested though as she didn't usually wonder around this area.

Nosferatu went left with the others, although she would actually rather go right. She wasn't used to this part of the dungeons, it was very different to what she was used to, usually more people is a big difference. "Hope we don't get lost," she muttered.

"We won't get lost," said Shane as he turned left and led everyone down this corridor. "I mean, you just have to remember where we came from and go backwards. Don't you lot worry about a thing. Besides, we're here to explore, aren't we?"

Chinnie was walking beside his twin and Cindy. "It's always creepy down here," she said. "Even though we've had had our potions down her before. But never deeper into it. I wonder what we will run into if not Slytherins." She had said all of that in a hushed voice.

Steven nodded at Cindy as they walked and followed Shane down to the Dungeons. Taking the left, as he knew the right leads to the Slytherin common room. He had been there trying to sneak inside so many times and that ended with a lot of detentions. He, just like his sister was wondering what was lying in there.
