Merlin, I know my titles are lame.

But I promise, the plot isn't as bad as the title makes it sound.

The Plot

It's the holiday season at Hogwarts and the castle is virtually empty during this time of year. Except for a group of students who decide to stay at the castle and relax with their friends there.

But soon, it gets boring. There's not much to do in the empty castle so they do the only thing there is left to do and decide to explore the dungeons. Many students tend to avoid the dingy underground of Hogwarts but it'll keep them busy for a while until something better and more fun comes along.

And while they're down in the dungeons, the students make a rather interesting discovery. There's a mysterious ghost down there. But it's not a normal ghost. It's the spirit of a young lady. She's actually a beautiful, young ghost and in time the students soon learn more about her.

She's a cursed spirit. Her soul was cursed by a warlock centuries ago and she's been doomed to roam the earth for all eternity. Though, there are quirks. Unlike ghosts, she can actually possess the bodies of living beings (she's a spirit rather than a ghost after all). Turns out though, she's been lonely and now that students have crossed her path, she's going to have some fun of her own.

The mischievous spirit is now out to cause mayhem around Hogwarts. She's possessing students and teachers and causing trouble. The group of students that found her have now decided though that she has to go. They have to find someway to break the curse so that her spirit will be free and move on to rest. Until they figure something out though, they're going to have to try and keep her under control.

The Rules

There's only a couple of rules, really:
1. If you join please stay active! Or if you're going to drop out, let us know so we don't think your character is still in play.
2. Don't control other people's characters. Stick to your own, please.

There's no limit on the amount of characters you can have. Just have fun!

As far as characters go, we'll obviously need students and of course the mayhem-causing spirit. As mentioned in the plot, she has the ability to possess others. You don't have to possess any of the main characters, you can just have random teachers and students possessed. Though if you would like her to temporarily possess another person's character, make sure it's okay with that person. PM them and ask before doing anything. But not long term. Only for a few posts or so (in which case, you might want to have two charries so if you do let the spirit possess one of your charries, you still have the other you can control).

And if you do decide to play the spirit, you can just have fun with her. Make up her looks, background, personality, etc. Just keep to any personality traits mentioned in the plot (such as the fact that she is mischievous).

Oliver nodded and shut the door quietly. "I had a nice time tonight. Maybe we can make it better next time and I won't be so awkward," he smiled at her, taking his shoes off.

"Of course," she nodded. Raquel took off all her winter clothes and placed them to one side. She then kissed Oliver on the cheek and smiled. "Well, good night," she said before heading over to her bed and settling down.

Oliver smiled. "Good night," he whispered, laying on his bed he had taken a nap on earlier in the day. He was fast asleep in the next minute.

Maddie looked up at the two as they had came in. She was just reading one of the books in the corner, not paying attention to anything. She yawned and put the book down, crawling to an empty bed and covering up. Soon she was asleep, but it took her a few minutes. The day's events were rushing in her head.

And the next morning came rather quickly or so it seemed to Raquel who was the first one awake. She was an early riser. She sat up in her bed and yawned, stretching herself out. It took her a moment or two but she suddenly remembered where she was. She thought things were looking a bit odd when she realized she was not in her dormitory.

Raquel finally got out of bed and went to clean herself up and shower. She was done rather quickly though and felt refreshed. Heading over to the kitchen, she started looking for something to eat.

Oliver woke with the sound of water running in the bathroom. He stretched and laid there, looking at the door and waiting on to see who it was. He smiled at Raquel as she walked out and to the kitchen. He stretched and got up. "Good morning," he said after yawning, scratching his head.

"Morning," said Raquel as she turned around to have a look at Oliver. She had a bowl in one hand and a box of cereal in the other. "Want something for breakfast?" she offered him. "We've got cereal and fruit. Eggs too if you want to try your hand at cooking."

Oliver traveled to the kitchen. "No, I'd burn them," he laughed. "I'll just have some fruit," he said, grabbing a pear. "Nothing's as good as fruit in the morning," he laughed.

"Right you are," she said. "Best to stack up on vitamin C and other source of good nutrients in the morning." She picked up an orange herself and then sat down at the counter so she could eat. "So, how'd you sleep last night?"

"Rather well," Oliver said, leaning against the counter in front of her. "Not as good as I usually do, but you know. And you?" he asked, taking a bite out of his pear.

Oliver laughed. 'Yes, we can do that as well. Is it that soon until the holidays?" he asked, sighing. "I didn't realize," he laughed. "Looks like I'll be doing the same thing as well."

Oliver laughed. "Oh. I haven't even went shopping for anyone," he said. "Christmas has completely flew out of my mind," he admitted. "Are you good at getting gifts?" he asked. "Because I may need help..." he smiled.

"Oh, well, if I know the person I'm not too bad," she replied with a nod. "I mean, you kind of learn what kind of gifts to get after years of having to shop for ten siblings, your mum and dad and three aunts and two uncles. It's a skill that you develop." She laughed.

"Whoa that's a lot," Oliver laughed. "I only have my grandparents and my parents..." he trailed off. Was he going to get her something this year, too? He smiled. "And I have a tough enough time with them. My grandparents are old and I barely know my parents...so it's hard."

"Yeah, I've got a pretty big family," said Rauqel with a shrug. "And it's even bigger than that, what with my two oldest brothers now married and with kids, I also have sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews to shop for. Though they're kids so they're a lot easier. Get them candy and they're happy."

"Woah that's a big family," Oliver smiled. "But they seem interesting. I wish I had a bigger family. My parents never had anymore children besides me," he smiled. "I guess it can be a hassle, though, keeping up with everyone?"

She shrugged. "Well, I'm the third youngest so I've never known a smaller family. It's not bad, really. You get used to it and in my case it's all I've ever known so I had to get used to it." She laughed. "It does get crowded sometimes but it's great for when we play sports. We have enough people to make two decent sized teams."

Oliver laughed. "Oh, I see. I bet I'd be a lot different if my parents didn't drop me off on my grandparents and instead had other children," he smiled. "I love my parents and all...don't get me wrong. I just don't see them much," he sighed, rolling his eyes. He looked at his watch. "Well, at least we have something to look forward to," he laughed.
