Merlin, I know my titles are lame.

But I promise, the plot isn't as bad as the title makes it sound.

The Plot

It's the holiday season at Hogwarts and the castle is virtually empty during this time of year. Except for a group of students who decide to stay at the castle and relax with their friends there.

But soon, it gets boring. There's not much to do in the empty castle so they do the only thing there is left to do and decide to explore the dungeons. Many students tend to avoid the dingy underground of Hogwarts but it'll keep them busy for a while until something better and more fun comes along.

And while they're down in the dungeons, the students make a rather interesting discovery. There's a mysterious ghost down there. But it's not a normal ghost. It's the spirit of a young lady. She's actually a beautiful, young ghost and in time the students soon learn more about her.

She's a cursed spirit. Her soul was cursed by a warlock centuries ago and she's been doomed to roam the earth for all eternity. Though, there are quirks. Unlike ghosts, she can actually possess the bodies of living beings (she's a spirit rather than a ghost after all). Turns out though, she's been lonely and now that students have crossed her path, she's going to have some fun of her own.

The mischievous spirit is now out to cause mayhem around Hogwarts. She's possessing students and teachers and causing trouble. The group of students that found her have now decided though that she has to go. They have to find someway to break the curse so that her spirit will be free and move on to rest. Until they figure something out though, they're going to have to try and keep her under control.

The Rules

There's only a couple of rules, really:
1. If you join please stay active! Or if you're going to drop out, let us know so we don't think your character is still in play.
2. Don't control other people's characters. Stick to your own, please.

There's no limit on the amount of characters you can have. Just have fun!

As far as characters go, we'll obviously need students and of course the mayhem-causing spirit. As mentioned in the plot, she has the ability to possess others. You don't have to possess any of the main characters, you can just have random teachers and students possessed. Though if you would like her to temporarily possess another person's character, make sure it's okay with that person. PM them and ask before doing anything. But not long term. Only for a few posts or so (in which case, you might want to have two charries so if you do let the spirit possess one of your charries, you still have the other you can control).

And if you do decide to play the spirit, you can just have fun with her. Make up her looks, background, personality, etc. Just keep to any personality traits mentioned in the plot (such as the fact that she is mischievous).

Oliver looked down at the snow. "I'm not good at riding a broom," he admitted. "I fall off practically everytime I get on," he said, looking back up at her. "But other than that, I'm not picky either. I'm happy just walking. But it can get boring, I'm sure. I don't want you to be bored."

Raquel rolled her eyes and smiled. "Have you ever even seen me with any boyfriends? Let alone a new boyfriend?" She did hang out with a lot of guys but she had never really had a boyfriend.

"Now, I can't see why you haven't," Oliver smiled. "I just figured you had so many guy friends. It was normal to date one or something," he grinned. "I'm really surprised, though. No boyfriend? Wow," he said with another smile. He always seemed to smile around her for some reason.

She shrugged. "I guess I'm just not the dateable sort or something," she replied. It had never really bothered her. Not that she would mind a boyfriend but she was happy whether or not she had one. "What about you? Any girlfriends?"

"Pssht, no," Oliver laughed. "I haven't had one since that girl last summer...and it wasn't that serious anyways," he shrugged. "And no one really likes me here. But who cares? If I get one, I'll get one," he said, winking at her. He bit his lip.

"You and Maddie are really the only girls that I talk to. And the only ones that talk to me. Maddie flatly denies liking me, and I'm not really sure about you. So you two are the only ones that fully know me. If anyone else likes me it's that weird celebrity-type crush that you don't know much about them, but you still like them," he said with a smile. He shrugged. "And what about you? Boys love you, I'm sure."

She laughed. "Sure, right," she replied with a chortle. "I'm aggressive and defensive and guys just don't seem attracted to that." she shook her head. "I doubt many guys like me. I mean there's you and Shane and I don't know. I'm not likeable in a 'I-would-date-her' sort of way."

Oliver looked at her, his blue eyes wide. "Uhh...I can't disclose that at the moment. Told him I wouldn't tell. But you'll find out soon enough," he said quickly. "Promise."

She still looked at him skeptically but didn't say anything on the matter. Instead she said, "Alright, fine. Just as long as you keep that promise to tell me later." She paused. "And how much later are we talking? A few days? Weeks? Months?" She didn't think her curiosity could wait for more than just a few days.

"I won't tell you, he will," Oliver said. He shrugged. "Whenever he's comfortable to tell you, you'll know. But I have a feeling it'll be really soon," he said with a smile. "If not, I'll make him," he added. Hopefully that was original enough.

"Okay," said Raquel looking rather puzzled by this but she didn't pursue the subject. It seemed he really wasn't going to say who this guy was. "I respect that," she nodded. "Keeping a secret for a friend." She smiled at him.

Oliver almost snorted. "Yep. A bro never gives his friends secrets up," he said with a wide smile. "Now, anything you want to ask me? Besides the girlfriend question, of course," he said.

Shane nodded as she gave her own opinion. "Yes, that's perfectly plausible," he replied. "He might just be waiting for the right girl. But he would like to snog her regardless. That's my point." Laylee then offered him something. "Oh yeah!" he said with a grin. He never turned down food. "Make ma anything. A sandwich or something."

Laylee nodded having to finally agree with him. Laylee did chuckle at his last answer though, "sure. A sandwich it is." She said with a smile and put her no finished sandwich down on the bench and started making one for Shane. Soon it was ready and she passed it over to him hoping it tasted okay.

"Thanks," he said hungrily and took the sandwich from her. He then took a bite and chewed it looking like a young child once more. He smiled and took another bite. It was really good.
