Izzy nodded and gave Spence a smile that told him that she would be by his side and that she agreed with him. "They are. Or maybe a charm could be on it??" said Izzy softly. It seemed to her that Spence wasn't too sure of Fred.

She smiled and almost laughed as Spence did a bow. She wondered what century he was trying to immitate. Her hair changed colour to a light brown as she waited for Spence to ask the questions. She was interested in what he would ask and how Fred would answer.

After you shout to the empty common room, you swear you see a bit of a shadow moving in the corner of your eye, but when you look up, it's gone. "You should really be careful what you wish for, you know," a dry voice says to you. Where is it coming from?



When Alenya is address by someone behind her, she sort of does a very slow spin in midair, her face trained upward as though she spent many years looking up at people. She was very short when she was alive, but now she hovers several inches off the ground and her sight is trained well above Adelinde's head. She looks confused for a moment, before looking down at the girl and saying, "I am, in fact." Her smile is a little cold as she turns back to Fiona and Blaire and said, "But I thought your name was Fiona. Oh, but there are two of you, aren't there? That's nice, dears."



Fred swings around slightly when someone behind him said his name and cracks a grin when he sees who it is. "Geni, darling!" he exclaims, jogging over to you. "How've you been, love?"



Fred turns from Geni to talk to Spence again and says, "Most boring books are immobile. I'm completely more fun than that." He grins at this notion. "I'm Fred. Fred Weasley. Lovely to meet, Spence. I was good friends with you great great something-or-other. Well, and I suppose I'm your great-something uncle, as well." He wiggles his eyebrows at Izzy, then claps his hands together and takes a deep breath.

"Okay! Attention to all Weasleys, Potters, Longbottoms, and Scamanders! For those of you who don't know me, I'm Fred Weasley. And I'm from the pa-a-a-st," he says, waving his hands and making his voice go up and down in a mock-spooky kind of way. "And, enough of that," he says, putting his hands down again. "I have information for all of you, but we need to round up EVERY one of you timorous beasties. And we need to meet somewhere privately, so that we can't be overheard. And we need to do it now. It's a matter of life and death, so leg it!"

OOC: Your next plot point is at the family meeting. So, everyone hoof it to the meeting. I think that everyone's in the library except for Elodie. So, we can all migrate to that common room. Please do so in the next few days. I'd like to drop the next plot point by Friday. Hopefully before than.

Izzy laughed. He was Fred Wealsey? Why didn't she guess that before? That explains a lot, thought Izzy smiling. Wow, she never thought that she would be meeting Fred Weasley. So in her dream, she must have met Molly Weasley. And he was her great something uncle? The only word that came to her mind was "Awesome." she quietly said. Her hair changed to a goldy colour. But.. still their HAD to be a charm on the book. She was thinking quite hard.

Izzy listened to what Fred was saying. They needed to be rounded up for a family meeting. She looked around the library to see if anyone else was there. "But where could we meet? The Room of Requirement?" asked Izzy, thinking of safe haven's to go to.

Gen smiled. She had only ever talked to Fred's portrait. She couldn't believe she was smiling though. It was the first real smile that she'd had since...well since you know. "Fred! What are you doing here?" She wanted to wrap him in a hug, but she didn't know if she could. Then he had to ask that question. "All right. I guess." She said in a whisper. She didn't really want to talk about what had happened recently.

Then he was addressing them as a group. Geni couldn't help but giggle as Fred acted like he always did in his portrait. He always made her laugh for some reason. She nodded her head as Fred explained what was going on. She smiled at Izzy who suggested the Room of Requirement. It sounded like the perfect place.

Monday had finally snapped back to reality. He still couldn't believe that this man who called himself Fred Weasley was here. It didn't make sense to him at all. He just nodded his head along as Fred explained. He was going to suggest somewhere when Izzy suggested the Room of Requirement. That sounds good.

Elodie spun around, what the heck? no don't be afraid, if this is all just a bad dream, nothing can hurt you. "who's there?" she asked out into the air with a quiver in her voice, pulling out her wand and looking in every possible direction "show yourself" she said more confidently but her eyes were still filled with fright

Fred claps his hands together. "Brilliant! Why didn't I think of that? The Room of Requirement is perfect. Now, if you all don't mind, we need to gether quickly."



In response, you hear a low laughter like someone who's enjoying your fright just a little too much. "Scared, little girl?" the voice asks.

"And rightly so," says another voice. From what you can tell, the first one is a man and the second one is a woman. They both sound raspy, though, and filtered like on the other side of a window. "Her family is going to bring her to ruin," the woman reminds the man.

Fiona smiled at her Great Grandmother. Blaire had yet to say anything but Fiona's attention was once again on Alenya. "Yes Grandma, we are twins. Remember I told you that when we were in the hallway a little while ago." She was itching to ask what had happened but didn't think now was a good time. The family meeting was supposed to be pretty soon but she couldn't quite remember where they were to meet. "Does anyone remember where the meeting is going to be?"

Ooc: We are all meeting in the library? Did i get that right?

Elodie took a deep breath in "I'm not scared, and I'm not little either!" she yelled into the space around her, but really she was terrified. her family is going to bring her to ruin? whats that mean she thought rather confused, but still terrified "what are talking about?" she yelled grasping her wand tighter.

OOC: That was the original plan. Now, we gathering everyone together to go to the Room of Requirement. Which doesn't look like it's going to happen between now and Friday. PLEASE, EVERYONE. Please RP going to the RoR as soon as you are able.

"That's nice, dear," is the only response you get out of Alenya. Now, even though you never really knew much about your family, you don't remember anyone saying that your great grandmother Alenya was as... um... absentminded as she seems to be and she was only forty when she died. You also don't remember anything about ghosts losing their ability to comprehend when the become ghosts. She acts kind of like... wow, it's really weird, but she acts kind of like Obliviate victims at St. Mungo's. Where was it she said she spent most of her time?



You hear the woman laugh again, but the man answers you. Their voices are too low for them to be students, and they can't possibly be professors. What's going on here??

"Your family are consorting without you," the man tells you. "They're plotting and planning and no one remembers poor Elodie. How dreadful."

For a moment, you feel a cold, tingling sensation form at the top of your head and move all the way down your neck and back. Then, almost like someone's turned the sound back on, you hear a couple of your Housemates enter the common room and go up to their dorm. The voices, and whoever they belonged to, seem to be gone.

Izzy nodded and looked around on the library. She saw almost all of her distant family here.. except for Elodie. Where could she be? "Hey Spence.. have you seen Elodie?" she asked him, worried. She stayed with Spence and his sister. "I think we should get going." she said.

Monday just nodded as the man said they should all go to the Room of Requirement. He grabbed his journal and slid it into his back pocket. He then made sure to summon all of the books he had out away. He headed up to the RoR without saying a word to anyone. This still didn't make sense to him.

Geni nodded to Fred. She pushed herself up from her chair and looked at Gem. She started to walk slowly up to the Room of Requirement. For some reason, she couldn't bring her feet to move that quickly. It was more than likely the exhaustion of the past day. It was starting to become unbearable. Gen just shook away the feelings and started to head up to the RoR.

ooc: does Elodie have to go to the RoR?

Elodie was silent, they were right, the creepy voices were right, she was always left out from family things. Then she felt a cold tingling sensation from her head to all the way down her back. What the heck, were they inside my mind or were they merely figments of my imagination? WHAT THE HECK WAS GOING ON! Still in shock Elodie stumbled over to a chair and thought over what these people had said.

Kelby didn't know why, but she'd completely zoned out during this whole exchange. Maybe it was the grief still fresh in her mind that was causing her mind to wander - she was usually pretty good with following conversations without daydreaming. She was jerked back to reality just as she heard Izzy's voice saying the word "going." Glancing in her direction, it looked like she was talking to Spence and Kelby. But Kel wasn't at all sure what she was talking about. "Going? Where?" she asked.

Izzy smiled at her cousin. Kelby looked really tired. "To the Room of Requirement for a private family meeting. Fred said we should find somewhere safe. And I suggested the Room of Requirement. It's a very safe place" she explained. Her hair turned to a dark brown almost the same colour's as Spence.

Spence smiled slightly at Fred's reply, amused. He didn't find immobile books boring in the least, but he had to admit Fred seemed a lot more interesting than any book he'd ever read before. "Nice to meet you as well." he answered, a look of pure curiosity on his face as Fred revealed his name and relations. Perhaps he'd seen his portrait at home and that was why the red head looked so familiar... It would make sense, after all.

It made him a little more confident in Fred's intentions, knowing that they were related. He was still wary of the him, though. How were they to know that he wasn't leading them into a trap? Half of his family had been killed recently and all they knew was that whomever the murders believed in what the Dark Mark stood for. If they held a grudge a against their family...

Well, Spence didn't trust anyone but his family right now. And, if Fred was part of his family, he didn't see why he would want to hurt them. Though he believed Fred was who he said he was (the red hair kinda stood for itself) Spence still didn't know what he was. Spence was really, really confused. His eyes flickered up from the spot he'd been staring at on the floor, to look at Izzy when she inquired about Elodie. "I don't think so." he frowned, wondering where she was. It would be strange for them all to have the impulse to go to the library anyway. "Izzy, I'm not so sure about this." he replied quietly as she said she thought it was time to get going. Uncertainty rang clear in his voice as he replied... Maybe a little worry. He glanced over at Kel when she asked where they were going to, nodding slightly when Izzy explained. He'd never been to the Room of Requirement before, but he'd heard stories about it.

Izzy turned back to Spence as he replied to her question She gave him a small smile. She looked at him, into his eyes. "What's the matter?" she asked him. "I know where the Room of Requirement is. I went there last year. It's safe." She said and gave his hand a squeeze.

Fred? Fred who? Kelby was about to ask what Izzy meant but then she saw the ghost-like person with red hair not so unlike her own. Fred...where had she heard that name before? Well that didn't really matter at the moment. They were having a family meeting? In the Room of Requirement? But...she still needed to talk to them about the dream and the letter and...ugh! Everything kept getting in the way, and the longer they were here talking the greater the chance that Hunter might... But no, he wouldn't be.

She glanced at Spence, waiting to see whether or not he would agree to go to this "family meeting". If he didn't go, Kelby wasn't going either.

OOC: *sigh* I thought leaving you guys alone for a couple of days would give everyone enough time to chime in, but I'm missing lots of players. All of the main characters are important to this plot, so I really need everyone to participate.

So, here's what we'll do. We'll time-condense so that everyone (except Elodie) has made it to the Room of Requirement. (Elodie can 'follow' them, if you want, but she doesn't know where everyone's going yet.)

Okay, here we go. I'll post Chase, as well, since I believe Nordic Witch is still on vacation.

As all of you meander toward the hallway where you can access the Room of Requirement, you begin to be more and more aware of the fact that the corridors are eerily quiet. You see the occasional student along the way, but they mostly skirt around you like you're cursed. You don't see a single teacher, though, and you remember that the teachers weren't at breakfast, either. And the librarian was missing, too. In fact, the only adults you've seen since last night are the Headmaster and the nurse.

As you go up a flight of stairs, however, you do notice someone walking past you. He doesn't avoid you, like the other students have been. Instead, he barrels through you almost like he doesn't see you, or really realize that you're there. it's Professor Hargreaves, the Divination teacher, and he's looking absolutely livid. Anyone who is particularly familiar with the layout of the castle will note that he seems to be coming from a remote part of the third floor corridor that doesn't get used for much of anything. Kelby and Spence will remember this part of the third floor from stories passed down from your parents' parents as the section of the third floor where a series of traps and enchantments once protected the Sorcerer's Stone. Probably just a coincidence, though, right?

Finally, you reach the Room of Requirement and Fred opens it by pacing in front of a blank expanse of wall three times. You step inside and you see a room large enough to seat all of your comfortably, decorated with several poufs that look like they've been kidnapped from the Divination classroom. You all take a seat and Fred stands in front of you, looking arrogant and a little puffed up.

"Thank you, everyone, for acting admirably," he says, smiling. "Now, the spell that binds be to my old school journal didn't really allow for a lot of space for remembering details, so I'm afraid I'm a little rusty with stories." He clears his throat and continues, "However, what I do know is that someone has been interfering with time. Even Hermione couldn't figure out who, but whoever it was, they took... something from the past."

He looks a little crestfallen now before he says, "No one's quite sure what is missing. But we all know that it's something so important that the world as you know it has begun to unravel. Or, well, more accurately, the future as you know it has begun to unravel. It hasn't started effecting the present, yet, but things that are supposed to happen in your future have already begun changing. This missing Artifact is so important to the world that it's changing everything. And that Artifact is somewhere in your time."

Fred pauses then and waits for your reactions.

OOC: I'm going to wait for several reactions before I post again.

Adelinde froze when he said that the time thing was mesesd up. It reminded her of her dream... the dream she redused to remember. "Do you know... what that artifact might be...?" she asked a bit hesitantly. The future was changing, she was changing and she wondered who would do this. Wouldn't it affect their past and future as well then? It must be Calliope! who else would think of this? Calliope had a hand in this... or... was Calliope holding onto the artifact the whole time?

Spence averted his gaze from Izzy's. "It's not the Room of the Requirement. It's not that at all. It's just..." I'm acting insanely untrusting of pretty much everyone but my relatives for a particularly good reason and yet... no one else feels the same way?

No one else seemed wary of Fred. Maybe Spence was only being paranoid. In fact, Spence decided, that was probably the case. "Nothing. It's nothing. Nevermind." he shook his head, slightly abashed, and took a step away from both of the girls, toward Fred. Spence was curious as to what the family meeting was all about, anyway. He just hoped it wouldn't take long. The 15-year-old still wanted to leave Hogwarts as soon as he could to find his brother.



Spence followed at the back end of the procession, trailing behind his family members by a few feet. He couldn't help but notice the way their footsteps echoed through the halls... It was much too quiet. Spence usually liked the quiet, but it was painfully quiet as if something wasn't quite right. It was usually quiet in forest before tornadoes hit, Spence remembered, wishing he hadn't recalled that at this particular moment. He really needed to stop worrying. Spence wondered if had been paranoid like this all along and had just never had a reason to worry or if it was a quality he had recently acquired. Either way, he hoped the feeling would pass soon.

Just as Spence was trying to convince himself his worries were foolish, the divination teacher came plowing through them, causing Spence to stumble as he bumped into his shoulder. The Ravenclaw did a double take, turning around to watch Professor Hargreaves shoot down the hallway in the opposite direction. Spence wondered why on earth the professor was in such a hurry... He was coming from deserted part of the castle, a section his father had told him stories about... Spence found that interesting, but didn't dwell on the fact. It probably didn't mean anything, anyway. He quickened his pace to catch up with everyone else, not wanting to get left behind.

Spence self consciously looked straight ahead as he marched on, not wanting to meet the gazes of the other students they passed in the hall way. There weren't many other kids or many professors out and about, Spence noted thankfully. He wasn't used to being stared at and, wasn't the least bit fond of it.

Therefore, Spence was glad when they stopped walking. It meant they had arrived and that they could go inside the Room of Requirement where they would be able to hide from the eyes of passing students... It meant they could finally learn what Fred had in store for them. He watched Fred as he paced in front of the empty wall and entered behind Adeline when the door appeared. It was Spence's first time in the Room of Requirement so, naturally, there was a look awe on his face as he observed his surroundings. Spence eased into one of the poufs, staring up, wide-eyed, at Fred as he began to speak.

When Fred finished talking Spence found himself staring at him slack jawed. Not in a million years had Spence expected him to say something like that. The part of his brain that brought words to his mouth didn't seem to be working properly... Spence was glad when Adeline asked one of the questions on his mind. Shutting his mouth and gulping, Spence nodded slightly, in a "what she said" kind of way, awaiting Fred's answer to the inquiry.

Alright, so now they were heading to the Room of Requirement. This wasn't really what Kelby wanted to do now, but she followed the others anyway. Hopefully this wouldn't take too long - she hated having to keep the dream and the gift she'd received to herself, especially now that she'd decided she would let Spence and Izzy know about it. But that would have to wait until after this "family meeting".

The silence in the castle really bothered her though. Kelby preferred noisy envirnments over quiet ones (most of the time, anyway), and she hated how eerie the castle felt as they walked along. It seemed so empty, like they were the only ones there. The few students they did see tried to avoid them like the plague, and the one professor that did pop up - Professor Hargreaves - seemed to think they weren't there at all and looked just as upset as he did the previous night, if not more. Even stranger, Kelby noted, was the fact that he seemed to be coming from a normally deserted part of the castle in the third floor corridor. She remembered a story her mum and grandfather had told her a few times before, but she quickly pushed that thought away. It was too painful to think about them, knowing she'd never hear another story from them again. She blinked back the sudden, hot tears burning her eyes, refusing to cry, and continued to follow the others.

Once they'd reached the secret room and gotten the door open, Kelby entered with the others and quickly found a pouf by Spence to sit on, then quietly listened as Fred explained the situation.

Whoa, what?

Something was missing from the past and it was somehow messing up their future? But how does one mess up the future if it hasn't happened yet? And how did they know it was missing if they didn't know what it was? Oi, this was confusing. And if this was true, it really complicated things.

Elodie paced back and forth in the common room, what had those voices meant? what did they what? she questioned herself, she was thinking hard, and was looked more emotionally strong then she had in days, but really all she wanted to do was sit down and cry.

As you pace, an owl flies in through a window with a grubby-looking package tied to its feet. It lands on a nearby table and hoots at you impatiently.

Elodie spun at the flutter of wings, she was a bit paranoid at the moment"an owl? what it doing all the way up here" she mumbled looking at the owl, then hurrying over as it hooted at her "what? a package? for me?" she asked the bird, but it must be for her, there was pretty much no one else in the common room. As she started to untie it "what the? who would send someone a grubby package like this?" she asked rhetorically taking the package of the owl's leg and examining it "what in the world?" she mumbled poking it with her index finger

Gemini followed Fred with his journal in her hand. She noticed that the halls were quiet, too quiet. Some students came by, they all went around them like they were cursed or something, but she didn't see even one teacher. She hadn't at Breakfast either...why? Something weird was going on. Then Professor Hargreaves, looking absolutely livid, walked right through them, as if he didn't see them at all. Finally they arrived in the Room of Requirement and Gem sat down to listen to Fred. After he was done speaking she was shocked silent, struggling to keep her mouth from falling open. Something from the past, in the present? What.....? Her day was getting weirder and weirder.
