Before I give the plot I want to make some rules clear

Rules
1. All SS rules apply.
2. Everyone must stay acctive.
3. If you can't stay acctive try your best to tell me before the RP starts.
4. If to people want the same role the person who posts a bio first gets it.

Ok now the plot.

It is Valentine's Day and Hogwarts is going to throw a big ball in honor of the occasion. They are inviting all of there sister schools to attend the ball too. It is the week before the ball and everyone is stressing about who they are going to ask. Trina has had her eye on a guy named Patrick for a while and she knew that he liked her. There was even a rumor going around that he was going to ask her to the ball. All of a sudden he ask the new girl at Hogwarts Kyla. Trina is terribly upset but then finds that Kyla has cast a love charm on Patrick so that he would ask her. Then she also finds out that Kyla has four other guys under a spell so that they would go with her too. The bad news is the four other guys are Trina's four best friend's crushes and that they all wanted to ask her four best friends too. Will Trina and her friends be able to break the charm before it is to late?

"I see, if I were you and I had to choose between those two, I would just tell them I was dead and not go at all." She smiled and noticed that Shaun's face and her's were inches apart when he turned around, and that his eyes lingered on her for a couple seconds. She smiled more at this and moved to his other side to a chair. She put the book between them and said, "Let's start at the easiest to make, just in case." She flipped the book to page 57 and started reading, sneaking glances at Shaun.

"Okay," Shaun agreed, now pulling a new book from the shelves to look at on his own. He eventually found the section on love potions and scanned through the paragraphs. "Jeez.. there are so many. How are we supposed to figure out which one she used?!" Impatient, he flipped ahead a few pages. "Hopefully the love potion will have some side effects. Otherwise, we'll just have to make every antidote in the book and shove them all down his throat."

Placing the book on the table, he sat down and gestured Kat to sit next to him. He ran his fingers on the title of the book, inscribed with gold letters on the forest green colored cloth which wrapped the book "Libro d'amore pozioni? Hmmm sounds Italian to me & if I am not wrong, it means, 'Book Of Love Potions.' Keith whispered, he calmly opened the book, praying for it to be normal & not another weird book which screams or cries or bites....

She thought as she continued searching the cases. "Don't worry about me Keith. I'm a big girl, I know how to take care of myself." She said chuckling. Kat turned her head towards Keith as he began talking, stating things that it wasn't his business to ask and other things. She sighed and shook her head. "I'm probably not going, no ones asked me yet. Who are you going with?" Kat responded sitting down to Keith.

As Keith slowly opened the book Kat closed her eyes leaning away from the book in case it decided to bite their heads off. She opened one eye to see what happened....nothing. She let out a sigh and smiled. "Phew, were safe." She said. "Let's get to work."

Sam looked at Shaun, smiled, and started poking around inside. "Actually, we won't need to do that, although it would be hilarious to see everyone's faces if we DID do that!" Sam took out a small vile of a purple colored liquid. "When Keith spilled his goblet of pumpkin juice, the Love Potion fell onto the floor and I took a sample when no one was looking. You can thank me later after we cure Patrick before the dance." Sam put the vile in between her and Shaun and said, "There's a section on different colored love potions in this book, we might be able to find the antidote this way." She pulled out a book off the shelf and started to flip through the pages to page 394. "So Shaun, while were here in the library, alone with absolutely no one else around *cough*, am I aloud to ask if you are planning on taking anyone who is not a ghost or a giant squid?" Sam smiled at her own joke, but knew Shaun would come up with a better one. He always could.

"Well, well. Looks like we've got our very own Sherlock Holmes here," Shaun commented, taking a look at the bit of potion that Sam somehow managed to snag. He eyed the vile, then glanced at the page of the book. "We can keep trying, but I think Keith and Kat will end up finding the antidote. Keith's hella smart." When she brought up the subject of the dance yet again, Shaun couldn't help but crack a smile. "I think I'm going to ask Kat, actually. She's looking mighty fine lately," he teased. "Maybe Blake, who knows." He shook his head, amused. Sam was so anxious about this dance, but he couldn't help but torture her a bit.

Sam was suddenly surprised at what Shaun said. She replied, "WHAT?" The Librarian gave her a long, hard stare and Sam lowered her voice. "What?! I thought that you were planning to ask someone else that I actually know but not that I'm suggesting that I'm telling you who to ask it's just that I thought Kat and Blake were already going with other people but i don't really know not that you can't ask them or anything I'm just saying they might say no or something but not they they WOULD say no but it's a possibility and I'm sorry is it hot in here?" Sam started to get flushed a little as she always over-talked when she was around Shaun, it was a habit. She usually would sometimes ay something VERY random around him like, "Pancakes are good with blueberry's" or "A moose will eat an elm tree a 6 PM" 'cause she was always lost in his eyes. His beautiful, gorgeous grey eyes that seemed to always light up whenever he saw her and they seemed to swirl around in a pool of grey with light sparkling on th.. SHUT UP BRAIN SHUT UP! FOCUS ON THE ANTIDOTE! SHUT UP BRAIN SHUT UP!

A quiet laugh escaped from Shaun's throat as Sam started going on about Kat and Blake already possibly having dates. The more he teased her, the more flustered she got. He actually found it to be surprisingly endearing. "Actually, I believe it's quite cool," he replied, after she asked about the temperature in the library. The library was always chilly. Unless you're Samantha, of course. He glanced up when he saw a figure coming their way. "Well, looks like we better take a break for a bit.." Just as he finished his sentence, the librarian reached the two. Like a typical librarian would do, she threw a few scolding phrases at them, wagged her forefinger, and - finally - told Shaun and Sam to exit the library, not to return for the remainder of the day. "Not that I don't want Patrick to be cured," he began, as they left and started walking through the hall. "But I was getting seriously bored in there."

"Yeah, I was too but good thing I got this book!" Sam held up the book with the surprisingly original title, "Antidotes" up for Shaun to see. "Now we can help Patrick even when we aren't in the Library! And it was very hot in there for your information! Well, I felt hot but I'm not saying that you didn't too and oh nevermind." SHUT UP BRAIN SHUT UP!

Shaun groaned as she pulled out the book. "Great," he muttered, unenthusiastic. "Well.." he sighed, knowing that they should be helping out anyway. "Let's at least look over this thing outside. Maybe I'll be fortunate enough to have some weird creature come out of the Dark Forest to distract us."

Sam punched Shaun's arm, hard, and said, "hey! Were doing this for Trina AND Patrick which are 2 of our friends! Remember that would you?" She also heard his comment about the Dark Forest, "I hope not! There aren't a lot of nice creatures in there and I think they'd like to do something a little more violent than "distracting us." She walked with Shaun over to a tree right next to the Lake. "Let's sit here, and don't push me in or I.Will.Kill.You."

"Okay. You're right," Shaun admitted as they walked out onto the perfectly green grass. It was nearly dark already, but he liked it at this time- when the moon hung up behind the stream of clouds, casting just enough light out onto the grounds. He sat beside her and curved his back against the tree. "Not push you in?" He glanced around to make sure there weren't any professors nearby. "Where's the fun in that?" Before she could utter a word, he had grabbed her around the waist and fell backwards, the two hitting the lakewater with the echoing sound of a splash.

Sam was suddenly tumbling backwards into the Lake with Shaun grabbing her around the waist. She resurfaced and glared at Shaun. "I told you not to do that!" She smiled anyway and suddenly went underwater and pulled on Shaun's legs, hard. This was just like their first day, at the lake. Ahh, those were the days.

ooc: Okay, now I REALLy have to go to bed! I can barely keep my eyes open! Byez!

Shaun submerged, bubbles spilling out from his nostrils before he surfaced with a soaked head. "C'mon!" he coaxed with a grin. "We did need a little break. Too much thinking just wears out your brain.. and then you comprehend nothing!" He treaded the water and watched her, droplets dripping off the tip of his nose.

Keith scanned the index and jumped to page 450, "Hmm, can't believe nobody asked you yet. I mean, you're so beautiful and sweet, how can someone not make a move? If I were them, I'll ask you to the dance in a heartbeat." He rambled as he skimmed through the paragraphs.

"Ahan! Here is the section for rapid Love Potions. I know they are a lot but we have no choice." Keith squinted his eyes as he read about the first potions in this category. "Basically this one will give the drinker's skin tone a slight ting of pink. Is Pat looking a bit pink? I don't think so." He pushed the book towards Kat and smile, "Um.. read the next one." Keith muttered. Although he was capable enough to read and find the accurate antidote but he didn't want Kat to feel left out, afterall she looked bored..

OOC: I think it would be cool if Kyla somehow gets the other guys to drink the love potion before they find the antidote?

Kat's smile grew wider and wider as Keith dropped complement after complement. "Thanks Keith. That's really sweet." She said. "No ones really said that to me." She added. Kat could feel her heart racing a lot as Keith mentioned that he would ask her out in a heartbeat. Then why don't you! She thought.

She took the book from Kieth and flipped through the pages, stopping at one. "Um is he experiencing any uncontrollable itching? I don't think so." Kat said pushing the book back towards Keith. She stood up and continued looking at the shelves. "So...do you have an idea who your taking to the dance?" She asked.

ooc: I agree with Tristin. It would be more interesting and the RP would last longer.

"I AM GOING WITH YOU, YOU YOU!!" Keith screamed in his mind but no one was the only word he could blurt out. "An annoying first year asked me but she's crazy." He grimaced and flipped the page. "Do you have... a girl in mind for me?" Keith asked.

"hahha, listen to this, 'A tiny cupid will follow the Drinker around until the affect of the potion wears out.' " He chuckled and tossed the book away. "This isn't going anywhere! We have around 50 potions in this section and 2 days. Lets request the librarian to issue this book. I can't sit here all day." He stood up and stretched his arms.

"Okay, maybe we did need a little break, but you still could've warned me! And you deserved that by the way." She referred to her pulling his legs. While Shaun was treading water, Sam tread right next to him, but then quickly shot behind him and pushed on his shoulders, making them both go underwater.

Again, Shaun found himself being forced under the water, though this time his nose clogged up and gave him that unpleasant tingling sensation when he came to the surface. He forced another breath out through his nose, but smiled afterwards. "Well, you certainly have a habit of dunking, huh?" His eyes wandered over to the land, then returned to Sam. "That was a nice dip, but we should probably get back on land.."

Kat sighed and leaned against the bookshelf, brushing some hair out of her face. "I have no clue, which girl would be perfect for each other." She responded. Hello! Standing right in front of you! JUST ASK ME! She thought, ready to explode.

She giggled a little as Keith read out another antidote. "How would that help? Wouldn't the cupid just shoot the person and they'd been in love all over again." Kat said. She picked the book up and marked their page. "Come on Head Boy. You need to calm down, big time." She said walking over to the librarians desk.

Kat handed her the key and asked if they could check the book out. Taking the book back, Kat turned to Keith. "Let's go." She said. Kat left the library and waited for Keith. She bit her lip nervously. She so despertatly wanted to tell Keith, but she was scared he would reject her. Sucking up her courage she decided to say it. "Uh, Keith can I tell you something?" She asked.

Keith followed Kat outside like a puppy, he really wanted to ask her to the dance but he couldn't muster up the courage. Maybe a written note would help? Slipping a letter at night outside the girls dormitory sounds like a good plan & with that thought, Keith snapped out of his thoughts. "Yeah Kat, I am listening, what is it?" He muttered as he rummage through his bag-pack, searching for his favorite scented parchments which he mostly used for writing letters to his grandparents.

She asked noticing how Keith was digging through his bag.

Keith stared at her with an eyebrow raised, hmmm why is she changing the subject? Shrugging, he walked with her to the Gryffindor Common Room, "Hmm I think I've got class." With that said, Keith jogged towards the moving stairs and turned around, "Oh nothing, I was just looking for some parchment,classwork...you know." He said and winked. "I'll see you in a bit, sweety."

Keith was sitting in History Of Magic class, tapping his feet impatiently. Prof. Bathurst really needed to give it a rest, that man has been babbling for about an hour. Keith couldn't take it anymore, his head was filled with thoughts of Kat & the dance. He pulled out a normal parchment out of his bag and started doodling. For the first time, Mr. McLean wasn't paying attention to the lecture and was rather immersed in drawing horrible looking cartoons.

At last the torture ended and Keith was free for the whole day! The first thing he wanted was FOOD! He ran for the Great Hall and quickly made his way towards the Gryffindor House Table. However, it was almost lunch time so he decided to wait for his friends and grabbed a glass of pumpkin juice.

After the rather strange breakfast Kyla headed off to class after overwhelming class. By the end of the day she was sure she was no where near ready for her owls and all she wanted to do was find Patrick wherever he was. She headed out the courtyard for some calming fresh air hoping she would find Patrick but the only people she saw were his freinds who she did'nt want to deal with right now. She took a seat feeling completely drained.

Kat had spent about an hour in the empty dorm, bored and just listening to music. When she looked at the clock, she released it was time for lunch and rolled off her bed, making her way down to the Great Hall. Spotting Keith she walked over and sat down. "Hey, had fun in class?" She asked looking around the table for, what else, food. The house elves hadn't sent it up yet.

"So what are we going to do about Patrick. None of us have found an antidote yet." Kat said. Her stomach began to growl, but Kat ignored it. "I'm going to kill Pat when he's back to normal." She said.
