| | ••KA: RPotW•• ->Hogwarts: a New Beginning Brittanda and Ashiie Productions present... {:Whimsical.Times.Ahead:} {:The Plot:} Gone are the days of darkness and fear. Times plagued with horrors and nightmares, torture and deceit. No longer does one have to fear their heritage, their lifestyle, their neighbors, because the Wizarding World has been living blissfully in peace. For twenty-five years, since the fateful defeat of Lord Voldemort by the heroic Harry Potter, there has been no sign of darkness, nothing that could get through the veil of safety and happiness cloaking the world.
Because of this, a new legacy is rising in Hogwarts. The Marauders had their legacy. Harry Potter and his friends had theirs. Now, a new legacy is taking their place in the school. Everyone knows who they are - they're not famous. They're just a little notorious for being loud and having parties and living up their lives. Who can blame them?
This isn't about their legacy, though. This is a new generation, a new group of students. Sure, no one is overcoming dark patches and evil dark deeds, but they're overcoming O.W.L.s, heart break, love blossom, friendship, and those nasty bullies. They're managing school and life. Parties and studying. Dancing and detention.
These are the peaceful years... live it up while you still can... {:The Setting:} The year is 2022, twenty-five years past the defeat of Lord Voldemort. During these twenty-five years has reigned peace and prosperity. The Ministry of Magic leads and does a wonderful job at protecting the people and keeping crime at bay, allowing good and light to continue to shine. Our RP itself takes place in the halls of Hogwarts, the ever-studious and academically inclined school of witchcraft and wizardy...
Hah.
This is one of those tales of coming to age and growing up. Of living your life the way you want and letting nothing come in the way. And also, of facing your fears. Because nothing stays good for long. Even the best apple can spoil...

First and foremost, follow the Knockturn Alley RP Rules. If you refuse to, I will have you kicked out of the RP. 2. No Mary-Sues. They are not enjoyable characters. What is a Mary-Sue? A perfect character; flawless. Not every girl is wanted, not every guy is devastatingly hot. Give them flaws, it's less annoying and it makes them more likable. 3. No supercharacters. Therefore, no powers. Sorry. But most people can't handle them and they wouldn't be too important here anyway. You're not invincible, you're not going to avoid every attack. But, likewise, don't control another's character. Leave it up to them whether or not something you do affects them. 4. Literacy is a must. if u typ3 lyk dis, then you can't join. You don't have to type novels, but try to keep it a few sentances at least. Describe things, don't just state stuff. And please, try to write as if this is a school paper. Astericks somewhat annoy me =) 5. If you join, stay. RPs suck if not everyone follows through. 6. When joining, post a profile. I will decide from your profile whether or not you're approve ^__^ In this profile, include a RP sample. Hopping his way to the end of the terrace, Taylor was trying to careful to not get in the way of more BIG FEET lady Dancers. OW OW OW! Yes, he was muttering in his head.
He looked around- the party was too distractful, it was too flashy and he kind of liked it. But he wanted to be in denial since he didn't wanted to be a traitor to his poor toes. Taylor saw Georgina and Cleo and Hugo enter the party as well- nodding a 'Hey' to them- He made his way to the end of the terrace still trying to be real careful.
Almost there- yeah .. Almost there. When Wahhhooo.. Another one of the stupid dancing legs got in Taylor's way and he tripped face down on the floor. How very embarrassing. Hmpf. "Why I ought a- " Taylor muttered furiously ready to pounce the person and his/her stupid dancing legs before getting up and coming face to face with Grace. Instead of getting all furious and coming out with all kinds of curses, all Taylor said was: "Ohh Hey.." He greeted, and to his own surprise a smile flashing on his lips as he brushed off the dirt on his cloths, totally oblivious to the fact that his toes weren't hurting at all.
Grace was leading Ollie towards the dance floor, holding onto his hand so he doesn't go and stand in the corner. That was when she bumped into someone … a boy.
Taylor.
And apparently he was about to scream at her for something, but then he stopped short. Grace grinned back at him. “Taylor! Haaaaaaaiiiii!” She said rather enthusiastically. “What are you doing getting away from here?” She asked him as she raised her eyebrows.
Were all boys the same? They were trying to escape from dancing? Well, she wasn’t having that. She could would drag him across to the centre of the floor and make him dance too. How she will manage to do that to the two boys might be a bit of a worry, but hey, Mozzie and Boo were there too. |

Was she about to go dancing? Oh No- Not Grace too. Oh Noes. Big Noes. Why do all the girls were so keen to dance. Can't they just chat and eat. yes that less dangerous. Seeing her eyebrow raised- Taylor hesitated. "Umm.. No - I mean My toes - I mean No.. Why would I leave, its just a wonderful party and all the wonderful dancing" he replied almost groaning at the mention of dancing, rubbing the back of his neck. Well that one was a nice save- what would Grace think of him if he told her that he was rather afraid of dancing. Coward...!
He noticed Ollie- looking rather gloomy, Still getting over Hannah perhaps, he thought. "Hey Ollie- How you doin' mate?" he asked polietly, not looking for a big conversation, he just wanted escape actually. Save his toes. "Umm Grace, by any chance- You weren't planning on going - err dancing right?" He was curious, he wanted to make sure - he could escape right. Save his toes.

Save his toes.
Grace blinked. His toes? She smirked when he spoke. "You were trying to get away from the dance floor!" She said in a singing voice. "I can tell, Taylor." Why else would he talk in such a nervous fashion? She then grinned at him. Maybe aking boys dance was just impossible in general. Some of them were dancing. LOOK AT TRISTAN! At least he tried. Boys! Always a mystery. Why would they run from dancing?
"Well, I was planning to." She told him. But then at least ollie had turned up to the party, maybe making him dance was stretching it a bit too far, for today at least. "I was dancing, before I went away, looking for a certain person." She added, although not implying, or hinting in any way who the person was.
If Taylor wasn't going to dance, she wasn't going to force him. But why did they have to leave the party. LOOK at all the food!
... FOOD?! She was hungry! She eyed the place where all the food was with speculation. Should she go and eat or dance? |

Grace giggled when Taylor crossed his arms and said he was not trying to get away from the dance floor. He looked like such a baby. She suddenly wanted to reach over and ruffle his hair.
Grace raised her eyebrows, an amused expresion crossed her face when she heard him say 'good'. Hahaha. THERE! That was admitting he was running off the dance floor. She was right. "I said I was planning to, I haven't actually ruled it out yet."
And then he asked her if she would want some food. She turned back to look at it and then looked at Ollie. "You want to have some food?" She asked as she turned to look at him. |

She knew it. She was seeing right through him. GAHH! Stupid, Stupid, Stupid Good for nothing BIG mouth! He just gave a nervous grin- at her too obvious 'I know you' expression.
He visibly alerted then when she said she might sstill plan on dancing Woops, his eyes glanced down his toes- Hey they weren't hurting! TRAITOR TOES! And here he was trying to defend them-And escape this flashy party for them and leave all the fooood. Awww MAN. Foood. His stomach grumbled again- Thanks to the loud music again or Grace would've had a new reason to tease him and laugh at him. Every part of his body was being a traitor to him today. "Yes-" he coughed nervousely. "Dancing is good, you can't get out of it- when you are at a party-" he was babbling. Stop please.
Food. Yes she was considering to get some food- and his stomch grumbled again- as if trying to tell Grace no more talking, its food time How embarrssing really. He waited for Ollie to answer- Hoping he'd say yes. He might faint now- He had been trying to get food all night. Say Yes, Please- Oh Say Yes. Traitor Toes. Awesome. Sounds so cool!
He blinked at his own thoughts- He really was going bonkers today.

"Another party, Boo? Dontcha think you've had enough?" Hugo chuckled. Unlikely. It seemed that Boo never stopped, but that was just fine with him. Cleo leant against the wall and stared about the place. Hmm. Perhaps it was time to PAARTTTY. She'd been waiting for an excuse to shake the stress away for a long time, and now Boo had given it to her. Good old Boo. Someone who everyone could always rely on to pull off a good party. Eeeee.
Her violet eyes scanned the room, pausing on certain people, and then moving on. Clo frowned. Everyone was already talking to everyone else. She didn't really want to butt in. That was the kind of thing that...Stella did. Stella squealed as a certain blonde person entered the party. Her dextrous legs hopped out of James's hold and she ran barefoot, bubbly bottle still in hand, to Clo. "Darling, we've been missing our sour puss," Stella said affectionately as she embraced Cleo. "TIGGGYYYY!" cried Kate, who had taken Stella's place next to James, who was mussing her hair. She had the sudden craving to swim. Hmmmm, she would have to suggest a pool to Boo for the next bash.

Kate was the only person who called her Tiggy. No one else would get away with it, without getting a thourough beating. Except perhaps Stella.
"Hello lovelys. James, Kate." She pursed her lips.

Hogwarts RPG Name: L'Wren Evans Fifth Year | Stella laughed; only Cleo could sniff like so. She skipped deftly back to Kate and James with Clo. She would love dearly to see someone but Kate call Cleo Tiggy. In fact, perhaps she would pay an ickle firstie, or even a fourth year, for good measure, to do the honours.
"Darrrrrling," purred Kate, and gave Clo two swift air-kisses on each cheek. "We've been waiting for someone worthwhile to appear." She scrunched her nose, managing to look dainty, still. "Too many bookworms and bravehearts." The ammount of Ravvies and Gryffindors somewhat disgusted Kate, and even more so, Stella, but they put up with it for a bit of good dancing and some sparkling cider. Maybe they could enjoy some bubbly and good company at a Slytherin party, but so far, those were few and far between. Stella, Kate, and Clo made the parties, not hosted them. James grinned at the sniffy, haughty, close-lipped Cleo. Their tight circle of Slytherin elite looked slightly out of place at the party, even if it did improve it. "Clo, bouncy as ever."

It seemed that the years she had spent by his side had done nothing but increase her need to stay by his side.
As she was introduced to Vincent's sister, Elethea imitated the girl's movements politely. "It is a pleasure to meet you too and please, there is no need to call me miss. I believe we are almost family, no?" She smiled briefly. "Ah, I hope nothing horrible has been said, though I quite doubt it," She glanced amusedly at Vincent. "Yes, please." "Ah, that's when we meet up and have some fun of our own," he smiled and sipped on his drink before finishing it and placing the empty cup on a nearby table. "Care to dance, m'lady?" He flashed a grin and bowed his head to her, just like they were back in the old days. Vivi sighed and went back to tracing the roots of the tree with his slender pale index finger. Well, she was now bored. Oh! She smiled to herself, a bit impishly, and reached into her sack and took out her old wooden flute. Ah, such good memories. She brought the wood up to her lips and she placed her fingers over the wholes and began to play an old elven tune. |

She brought the wood up to her lips and she placed her fingers over the wholes and began to play an old elven tune. Elethea smiled and nodded once, her eyes now focused on Vincent, from whom they couldn't diverge for too long when in his presence. "That's quite true," she allowed. Ah, how could she not agree with those words when each and every time they were together had a special place in her heart and awakened the long lost human feelings in her?
As he asked her to dance, she quickly glanced at the many excited students and grimaced. That kind of music and style of dancing was far from being the one she appreciated. In fact, she'd much rather if someone played a bit of classical music or something of the sort instead of that loud racket that was somehow able to hurt her ears slightly. What those silly teenagers saw in those melodies, she did not know and she doubted she'd ever find out.
Still, as she saw Vincent's expression, she couldn't just say 'no', and his bow didn't help her one bit. Shaking her head slightly, she smiled at him and took his hand. "Ah, you'll have to have patience with me for I'm not familiarized with this kind of music," She told him.
Turning her head as she heard a flute, Thea smiled some more before turning back to him. "Your sister plays beautifully," she told him, not wishing to disturb Vivi. How she wished she could have her lyre with her so that she too could demonstrate her skills with the instrument. Hmm, actually, the kind of music those two instruments played should be the one everyone was dancing to...

Hogwarts RPG Name: Brenner James Fifth Year | Joanna Katherine ✞ Je crois ✞ Hearing about the party going on outside Victoria pondered the thought of actually showing up. Yeah she was always the rebell. An outcast really. Being new didn't help anything much at all. Yawning she decided she might as well see if anything interesting was going on at the so-called 'party'. Swifly and silently walking to the group of people Tori mostly just watched everyone get all excited about seeing eachother after the summer. Plucking at her sleeves with her long nails she sighed. What in the world was she thinking? Nothing was really here for her. Soon enough one of the other girls would proubly get nasty with her or something then she would be forced to leave. But still, Tori sat back and watched what went on before her.

Sarah had given up. She found herself wandering the corridors only a few minutes after leaving the courtyard. It was her first night back and she'd already done and double-checked her summer homework, finished the light summer reading she'd been doing and even fixed a few watercolors she'd been working on.
Running her hands through her messy dark hair, Sarah wasn't watching where she was going and so bumped into an extremely reoccupied looking student writing in a notebook of somesort. Quote:

Of the two options, Aaron was pretty sure which one he prefered...
Trying to flat his hair again, and naturally failing at it as usual, the fifth year risked another quick glance at the girl. Again, she was staring at him. He frowned.
Part of him wanted to go over there, and demand the hufflepuff what was her problem? But the other, (the proud and stubborn one) wanted to stay there and ignore her. If she wanted to talk to him, he was the one that was going to talk first. Not him.
The pink lovely blush was on her cheeks, and like before, he didn't fail to notice it. The fifth year run his fingers through his hair in frustration, and looked away, determined not to look in her direction again. Mellie felt SO awkward. The strange, unfamiliar boy had caught her looking at him yet again. Every time this happened, it seemed to get more embarrassing for her. Finally, the Hufflepuff prefect decided that she couldn't take it anymore. Social situations, especially overly uncomfortable ones like this, made her... well... uncomfortable.
Acting rather suddenly, Mellie carefully slipped Romeo and Juliet back into her gray purse. After slipping the bag over her arm, she stood up. Mellie was going back to the Hufflepuff Common Room. It was bound to be more comfortable there, even with the obnoxious roar of new and returning students. At least there, she'd be able to get him out of her head.
Unfortunately, the only path leading to the Hufflepuff Common Room from the courtyard where the party was being held passed right next to Aaron. Walking a little faster than usual, Mellie swept past him. She kept her eyes on the ground the whole time, determined not to make eye contact another time. It wasn't until she'd gotten at least five feet past him that she chanced a quick look back. Is it possible that he looks better from the back? Mellie wondered.
The light-haired girl didn't give herself much of a chance to mull this over. She quickly turned back to her path and started walking again. Mellie didn't notice that her beloved journal had dropped out of her purse and was lying visibly on the ground.

Mellie didn't notice that her beloved journal had dropped out of her purse and was lying visibly on the ground. It was rather ridiculous and pathetic the way that Aaron was starting to feel. Really, why should he be feeling uncomfortable? He had no reason, to feel that way. He had done nothing wrong, and if the prefect wanted to keep staring at him, it was her problem, not his. Yeah, right...
Tired of all the staring, and in swallowing all his pride, he made a choice; He was going to go over there, and ask her what her problem was. Yes, that's what he was going to do. So when he was about to move and make his way to the Hufflepuff, he realized that she was standing up as well. Aaron smirked at this. Surely, she was going to come over and talk to him, after all.
He was wrong
Instead of stopping in front of him, the girl sweapt past him, with her eyes on the ground. Now this was surprising, since he was sure that she was going to come and approach him. His glared at her back. What a weird girl that was. However, his glare quickly fade, when their eyes met once again. She was looking at him, and this time, Aaron didn't look away. Well, he did stop looking at her, when with the corner of his eye, he saw something lying on the ground, very close to where he was.
Narrowing his eyes in confusion and curiosity, he moved and walked to where the thing was. It was a notebook. Well, it was more like journal. A girl's journal. A journal, that most likely belong to her.
His lips curled into a grin, when he opened the journal to read the first page of it, and read the name of the owner. So her name was Melissa Bruns, eh? In his opinion, Melissa was the name for an outgoing type of girl, and this girl was definitely not that type. Well, she didn't seem to be that type, at least.
Now... Should he read what was written in it? Or just follow her and give it back?
What a dilemma.

What a dilemma. Mellie returned to the Hufflepuff Common Room earlier than she'd anticipated. As she'd left her dorm only about an hour before, the Prefect assumed that she'd at least stick around Mozzie's big start-of-term party for a couple hours. They were known to go on until the early hours of the morning; not that Melissa Bruns had ever stayed that long.
As soon as she stepped into the Common Room, Mellie nearly regretted her decision to return. The first years were crawling all over the place, even though there were only about ten of them. Quickly, the light-haired girl slipped through the crowd and headed towards her dorm. She slipped her sensible-looking shoes off before climbing onto the top of her bed. Mellie had something of a tradition to follow now; every time she was in any type of social situation, the fifth year girl would come back to her dorm and write about it in her journal.
Even though she'd already written a full page back at the party, Mellie planned on scribbling down a bit more. She could not get that boy out of her head. It was silly and irrational, she knew. The girl doubted she'd ever see him again, let alone talk or get to know him.
So when Mellie reached into her purse to pull out her journal, she was quite surprised that her fingers couldn't find the familiar, leathery cover. Horror spread over her face as she continued to dig through the bag. Mellie even dumped everything out onto her yellow quilt, though she already was certain that it was missing.
Without thinking, Mellie jumped off her bed. Leaving the mess from her purse there, the Prefect exited her dorm and then the Common Room. She HAD to find that diary. If anyone (okay, the was thinking of one person in particular) read it, she'd be mortified. As she swept through the hallways, heading back to the courtyard, Mellie tried to remember what she'd written in her most recent entry. Another red tint swept her face as she recalled that she'd jotted down something about the mysterious boy being gorgeous. Beautiful, she may have even called him.
Mellie groaned as her pace quickened.
Finally, the girl reached the scene of the party. Everyone was exactly where she remembered them... At least, Aaron was.
Trying not to draw attention to herself and definitely not looking at him again, Mellie slipped by him and over to the corner she'd been sitting in. It only took the girl a minute to realize that her journal was nowhere in sight. Where did it go?! she worried, turning around with a sigh.
But then Mellie saw it. Her diary was in the hands of him. It was open. She walked over to him, though her steps were small and slower now. Once she was right in front of him, Mellie realized that she had no idea what to say. She wasn't bossy or demanding by nature, she was too shy to simply ask for it, and pulling the journal out of his hands and walking away seemed cheesy. So Mellie just stood there like an idiot, the blush still on her face, not saying anything.

So Mellie just stood there like an idiot, the blush still on her face, not saying anything. Melissa Brun's diary was still on his hands, waiting for him to read it. The prospect of reading a girl's journal was somehow--tempting. Aaron have always wondered what girls wrote in those things, and there he was, holding some girl's journal, and still not sure wether he should open it, or not.
In the back of his mind, he could hear a voice (a voice that sounded a lot like his mother's voice) telling him not to read whatever was written in the pages of that journal, because it was too personal. The other, (that sounded just like his cousin's voice) was proding him to read it. He shook his head quickly, an tried to listen to his own thoughts. Well, he was definitely curious to know what was written in Melissa's journal. The idea of reading something that she had wrote was tempting. Yet, he knew that reading the journal, would be wrong. More than wrong, it was disrespectful.
But hey... It wasn't like he was the most polite person around, was he? A little innocent look at what was written on it wouldn't hurt, right? Besides, he doubted that he could find something in those pages, that held some sort of interest for him
With a little grin and eagerly, Aaron was about to open the journal and read, when Melissa Bruns, sweapt past him and went to the exact place that she had been reading earlier. And just like before, she didn't even look at him.
Clearly, she was looking for the journal. The journal that he was about to read.
He didn't even look at her this time, when he spotted her, walking towards him yet, a smirk was playing around the corner of his lips. If she wanted her journal, she was going to ask for it. He was not going to make any comments about that, unless she brought it up. It was her diary after all, not his.
For Aaron's internal annoyance, the smirk on his lips quickly faded, when he spotted the lovely and innocent pink spots on her cheeks. She was blushing--again. This was definitely not a good thing. This was a bad thing. An akward and uncomfortable thing. Nervously, he tried to flat his hair once more. "Yes?" He asked, in what he hoped was cold tone of voice. Aaron was determined not to look at the blush in her cheeks, so he concentrated on her light hair. She had a really pretty wavy hair... No. Stop it Aaron.

Mellie's head had been positioned so she was looking straight forward. It was normal position, and it allowed her to avoid the boy's eyes. For some reason, that would make her feel even more embarrassed. But when he addressed her, she felt she had to look up.
Slowly raising her chin, Mellie eye's eventually reached Aaron's. She was momentarily distracted by them. The color and the shape, they were quite nice eyes. After a second, she realized she should probably say something. Or at least stop staring into his eyes.
"Uh, my journal," she mumbled quietly. Strangers always made Melissa Bruns feel so shy. She didn't think it was necessary to say anything more. Anyone with some intelligence would understand what she was saying: she wanted her diary back. The Hufflepuff's hand were clasped together in front or her. She was wringing them together; anyone who knew the girl well knew that this was a nervous habit.

The moment she looked up at him, Aaron felt the need to make eye contact with her, at least for a second. His eyes now, were the ones examinating his face with interest. Her hair, just like he had noted a few moments earlier was pretty, in it's own very way. Her skin was fair... Almost porcelain like; and her eyes were gentle and innocent. Overall, a very pretty face that--Stop it.Now.Aaron. He dropped his eyes, and stared at his shoes, while a shade of very light pink, apparead on his pale cheeks. Crap
Looking back at her, his face controlled, and free of any kind of emotion (or blushed, for that matter) He made eye contact with her, and gave her the journal. "You should be more careful, Melissa" He said, indifferently to her. He had managed to keep his voice free of emotion, as well. Good

So, waving a toodle-loo to the girl, noting the guy who stood off in the distance who had been watching them, she skipped off, flouncing about, back towards Quentin, Nolan and Tristan.
Boo, she saw, was off with Inez, dancing with some boy she didn't recognize. Grinning despite herself, Mozzie shook her head. Only Boo could manage it.
"Hi, hi! What happened here?" Not far from them was something spilled on the ground. One brow arched, she cast the boys with an inquiring look, that only turned towards further confusion when Nolan responded with a snigger.
"Oh, come on, let's dance," she crooned, feeling the need to make up for time. Where Boo had the erratic rhythm and seemed to know nothing of beat, Mozzie was a good dancer, despite her klutziness otherwise. Arms curled above her head, she shimmied around to the rhythm feeling her body follow suit. It was fluid and graceful and dancing was probably the only time one would see Mozzie as such. "Why can't you be more dainty like that?" Nolan muttered, more to himself, turning a smile up at the corners of his lips. Then, out of sneaky curiosity, he glanced out the corner of his eyes to peak at Quentin and gauge his reaction. Those two acted oblivious, but Nolan watched people a lot and picked up on little things. Such as the way Mozzie always hovered near Quentin or the sarcastic jokes Quentin made concerning the girl.
Yes... he was sure they'd deny it if asked but something hovered between the two.
It kind of made him want to cackle.
Unable to help himself, Nolan gave Quentin a jab with his elbow. "Wouldn't you agree, mate?" Quote:

Spotting Boo, who was dancing away, she bounded over to her, waving. "Boo! Boo!" She skidded to a halt in front of her and started swaying her hips gently, letting the music take her. "Heeey. How come I didn't know you were throwing a party?" She tried to sound mock hurt. Of course, she couldn't always do that. She was feeling much too bubbly for the likes of a miser today. Even a pretend one. She twirled on her toes, then looked around once, finally spotting Mozzie, dancing rather gracefully. Ooh. Interesting. Drawing in an excited breath, she squealed her way over. "Mozzie!" As soon as she reached her, she started dancing again, then noticed Nolan. She frowned slightly, and poked his rib. "Dance!" She had only just arrived and knew the party had probably been going on long, but she felt some people weren't partying enough. Hmph. What a waste of good fun. Quentin snorted a laugh at Mozzie's question before shaking his head silently. He nodded a hello and glanced down at the ground for a moment. Dancing... Not a chance. "You know.. I don't dance," he told her, looking up again. As if she hadn't figured that much out. Inez looked at Troy, confused. She blinked a few times before shrugging. "Okay!" She said with a grin. She didn't know what his friend's issue was, but maybe she could find out later! Ooo! Yeah.
She glanced around, suddenly in desperate need of another drink. Did she bring exta?? She didn't even remember... "GEORGINA!" she squeeled happily, becoming distracted once again. "Hiii!!!!" She waved, moving her hips back and forth to a rythem that was clearly in her head. But Georgina was off again.
Watching her, Inez spotted Mozzie, Quentin, Nolan, and Tristan. And not dancing. What was wrong with them??? "Boo!" She started, tapping her arm and then grabbing her wrist. "Let's gooo!" With that said, she started running over to join the rest of them. "I--" Quentin started, in answer to Nolan. "Oh.. Hey Inez.." Quentin said warily, though fine with the inturruption. Although, she looked like she was on a mission or something. Never good. "Hi!" She said, with one of her big waves and a bigger smile to go with it. "Agree with what?" She asked curiously, now putting her hands on her hips. |

Stefan was just finishing up this drawing; it was one of his better ones. He was almost finished when suddenly, a dark gray line appeared on the page. His eyes widened, and he cursed, loudly. He looked around for the culprit and his angry gaze fell upon a girl who had bumped into him.
"What do you think you were doing?" he snapped, his eyes glinting angrily. "You just ruined my picture! And this one was half-decent!" He waved the book at her; the picture was a semi-decent drawing of the grounds, a landscape. Stefan was the best at those. He had been trying to draw a decent picture to get his mood up, but since this girl ruined the picture...it wasn't going to happen. And he openly showed his bad mood as he glared angrily at her.

And, looking around, there were so many people she wanted to talk to! Eek. Where to begin...?
Oh! There was Inez's familiar voice, calling out her name. Beaming even wider, she stared at her with wide, excited eyes. "INEZ!" she squeaked, ecstatic upon seeing her friends once more. "Ohmigahd!" She needn't say anything else, for now they were in the group again, dancing and talking and telling off the people who didn't want to dance. She gave Nolan another disapproving poke, then poked Quentin in turn. "Heeey. What is it with you guys and not dancing? This is s'posed to be a par-tay! PEE-EY-AR-TEE-WHY!" She counted the letters off her fingers as she said each of them.
"Now DANCE." And she twirled around, shimmied up and down, and started bouncing on her toes encouragingly. She didn't want to believe there wasn't any hope for these - dare she say it? - party-poopers. Quote:

"Another party, Boo? Dontcha think you've had enough?" Hugo chuckled. Unlikely. It seemed that Boo never stopped, but that was just fine with him. As Georgie twirled and danced and hopped and pranced, her eyes scanned the venue carefully, for anyone else who seemed to be too idle, or too excited. However, her eyes fell on one particular boy, pushing his way through the crowd, and soon was near Boo, talking to her about her party.
Hehehe. Flirt-alert. Oh Georgie.
"Huuggooo!" She called out, waving her hand towards him. "Hey! Dance with me. C'mon!" She wanted to tug on his wrist, but she knew better. Quote: Cleo leant against the wall and stared about the place.
What were with all these Slytherins wanting to associate themselves with parties that other houses hosted? It seemed Auberon hadn't thrown enough parties last year. Well, he'd make sure he changed that. He had a status to uphold, after all.
Cleo was a prime example. He walked over to her, turning on the charm. Oh, let Stella and Kate stay where they were. They deserved to be Auberon-ified at least once in their lives as well.
"Cleo, Cleo," he purred, raising his eyebrows. He glanced at Stella and Kate, then continued. "You don't seriously consider joining this party when we can host our own private party up in the Common Room, do you?" Normally, this was an offer no person in his or her right mind would decline, but he wasn't so sure. As much as he had his fangirls, his fanclub (that was a whole different thing altogether, by the way), and his 'bodyguards', he was sure he had his enemies too. Eh. They were just jealous.
Then again, no one really declined his offers. Not Auberon Daly.

James grinned at the sniffy, haughty, close-lipped Cleo. Their tight circle of Slytherin elite looked slightly out of place at the party, even if it did improve it. "Clo, bouncy as ever." Cleo frowned as Kate air kissed her. Eurggh, too much affection. TOO MUCH AFFECTION! She returned the gesture, but half heartedly. "There's nothing wrong with bookworms." She snapped. She herself was quite a bookworm, even if in Slytherin. Slytherin the house of KINGS. And bookworms. Pffft. Kate just didn't appreciate cleverness.
She turned to James, smiling sarcastically. "I'm not sure bouncy is quite the correct word, darling. The party has barely started yet!" Cleo grinned, her eyes widening excitedly. YAAAY PARTAAAY! Quote:

Hugo's eyebrows shot into his hairline as he heard a familiar, sweet voice purring in his ear. He spun around, his bright eyes scanning the floor for Georgie. Ahh. There she was. His mouth split into an irresistable grin, and he slipped through the crowd towards her. One of his hands automatically flew to her waist, the other intwined in her hair.
"Georgie, you really shouldn't tempt me so." Hugo laughed. Cleo turned as a certain someone appeared at her ear, and she grinned. Turning slowly, she found herself inches from Auberon. She smiled brightly, and pulled him into a warm imbrace.
"Mr Daly, you are absolutely correct." She pushed a blonde curl from her violet eyes. "Let's retreat to the common room at once."

Then again, no one really declined his offers. Not Auberon Daly. Edge shook his head as he stood by the drink table. It seemed like everyone knew each other. But not him or Troy. They came a bit late last year, and Edge really hadn't been friendly to others. Of course, he was surprised that no one knew Troy. Troy was quite possibly the friendliest person he had ever met and it was strange that he didn't have that much friends.
Edge gave a shrug, about to turn his back when he heard a boy - from his house - try the corniest pick up line he had ever heard. So stupid that it made Edge laugh. And Edge never laughs. Giving a stare in the direction of Auberon and the poor girl that got sucked into his game, he rolled his eyes. Troy stopped dancing, once this unbelieveably hyper girl suddenly jumped in and stole the people he was dancing with. [ Georgie ]. He narrowed his eyes. Eh. He was getting tired of this party anyway. It was boring. Dancing can only be fun for a while - then it just got tiresome. Giving a yawn, Troy went over to sit in a chair, his feet sprawled out and his arms hanging off the sides. He yawned again, looking extremely bored.
