This is the flat in the Westminster area of London, that belongs to Iain Hunter. He is the Division Head of International Cooperation's Trade Division. This thread is where Iain will spend his time out of work with is family, friends and beautiful girlfriend Liliana. Beware of the smells drifting out of this thread, he spends a lot of his time cooking with Lili.

This tale starts at the end of Iain's first week as Division Head at the British Ministry, and after a quiet week with nothing much happening it all changed over two hours. After meeting another Division Head in his department, and taking her out for lunch in Muggle London and then for ice cream in Diagon Alley.... Here they are. Their first real date. How will it go for the guy who, while being a Lady's Man, hasn't dated someone in ten years?

As you get out of the lift, and walk along the corridor you stop in front of the door that has the number '7' on it. After knocking, Iain welcomes you with a smile and you are welcomed into a magnolia hallway that has wizarding pictures on the right, and muggle pictures on the other. They seem to be of two different families--Iain is included in both. There are two doors on each side of the corridor, and a staircase at the very end of the hall.

The first door on your left leads you into a gorgeous wooden kitchen that has a connecting simple dining room that has a connecting balcony. The door from the dining room leads back to the corridor.

The door that is slightly up the hall from where you are standing now, after you have come out of the dining room leads you into the living room, which also leads onto the balcony. Moving back into the corridor and back towards the main door, the door on your right leads you into a small but classy bathroom with a shower, but no bath.

If you take the time to go upstairs, you will realise that there are only two rooms. On the right through the door there is a study where books fill shelves from the floor to the roof along the whole wall to your left. To your right, there is a large wooden chest-of-drawers that holds plans, and in the top section alcohol. There are a three of leather sofa's with a coffee table between them in the center of the room. At the very bottom of the room, in the corner, stands a double desk. One with a muggle computer, and the other with Ministry work and research on it. Between the desk and the start of the book shelve, there are three large bay windows. What little of the wall can be seen, has been done mocha for the bottom half, with cream on the top half with a day-do rail around the middle to separate the colours.

Crossing the hall, you walk into Iain's bedroom. This final room continues the wooden and pale theme that travel's throughout the house. Through the arch, is the wardrobe.

Iain smiled at Iri. "I know. I am excited too. Although, I got two new members of staff through this process so my Division - well Jenkins -- and I had to stop and pause and re-go over everything that we had already decided on. However, Hopefully between the four of us we will manage to get everything sorted tonight."

He was hopeful about this, because Liliana had left him in charge and he didn't want to let her down. Not at all. Then, after Iri had told him about what her division were doing next; she was moving. What the....

Then he saw her. He stared at her. Blinked a few times. Pinched himself a few times after that and then stood up so that he could move behind her and hug her. He knew that they were infront of their colleagues, but he had MISSED her.

"Oh my... What are you doing home?" He asked, then back-tracked. "I mean I'm loving it, and I missed you like crazy; but how are you back a week early?" He asked, quickly moving into his "ramble" phase that wasn't used at work. He blinked at her, and took a deep breath. Then sighed and smiled as he sat back down again. His hand searched for hers and he smiled at her again. "I missed you Mrs. Hunter." He told her softly, promptly forgetting that they had an audience.

Theres other people here. There's oher people here. Theres other people here she repeated over and over in her head again as Iain wrapped her arms around her. "I was just done a little bit early," she said, reaching up on her barefeet to kiss him on the cheek. There's other people here, she reminded herself again.

She blushed as he called her Mrs. Hunter, she never quite got use to that. She sat down beside him, refusing to let go of his hand, but trying to be subtle about it at the same time. She turned to the room at large and asked, "what have I missed?"

As Iain smiled and ran his thumb over Liliana's hand he accio'd in another goblet, it was already filled with orange juice. Nothing but her favourite for his lovely. He looked around at the others who were just sitting down. "Nothing much. Jake was away on holiday, so Eteria," He motioned to the girl who Liliana had placed under Jacob's care, "was running the task-force. So, Jacob and I decided that she could come along; it was her task after-all."

Iain looked around and looked down at his own notes that were in a pile. "We haven't started to discuss the questions of the format that we want the report to appear in." He started, then wondered if Liliana wanted to run this meeting or if he should.

"Where are we going to start? I think.... logically. The first question that needs to be asked is 'Who's idea was it?' with three options. 'Mine', 'Parents' and 'Other'. With a line underneath for the 'other' to be explained." Iain looked down at his notes and nodded again. Then, he waited for the jury. He got a quill out, and a clean piece of paper so that he could take (yet more) notes.

Lili remembered meeting Eteria when she first came to work in IC and was glad that she was fitting in so well. She was also really glad that things had seemed to go well. She'd been worried about how they would do without her, but being in the room, she could tell she needent of worried.

As they had already started the meeting and she had left Iain in charge when she left so she let Iain go on chairing the meeting, and just sat back to listen to everything he and the rest of them had to say.

Jacob sipped his water, realizing too late he should have requested Earl Grey. Ah, well. There was more than enough at home. As he was a bit behind, he just listened to the others talk, but when Lili showed up...

"Lili!" he exclaimed, smiling. "Good to see you." Then Ian noticed her and...well...Jacob grinned and shook his head. They were great together.

Okay...now...work! Jacob pulled out several fresh sheets of paper, a quill, and an inkwell. He wanted to see his Division's work before he said anything.

Ian spoke his idea about the first question. Jacob nodded and wrote it down. "Sounds good, Ian," he commented. "And not too far after that we should have questions concerning why it was an idea in the first place."

Iain nodded with this, taking notes. "One of my members thought it would be appropriate to find out if any of the transfer students had a member of their family that had been accepted; and had studied at Hogwarts." He paused and looked through the pages. "That could be one of the optional reason's for why it was a reason?" He said, ending it more like a question than a statement.

ooc. sorry for the delay girls, I've been busy.

Disappointed that Iain had to take off so suddenly, it was up to Lili to continue the meeting. She forced her mind away from what may be happening with her father-in-law and focused her attention on the meeting that was being held in their flat.

"So I know I've been away for a bit, and haven't really been able to assist with everything that is going on, but I do know however that you guys have been working on assembling surveys. What are some of the various questions that your divisions have come up with?" she asked the people that remained in the room.

Iridesca smiled and looked down at her portfolio that she had created with all of the questions. She turned to the first page and read over the first set of questions. These were the in depth version.

"Well, here are the first batch of questions that our division came up with. I'm pretty proud of my division. We are small, only three of us, but together we are deadly." she said with pride as she handed the portfolio to Lili.

Taking the paper from Iri, Lili took a minute or so to read it over. Her division had come up with some pretty good questions, and she was impressed. "Those can all go into the survey, they're very informative questions Iridesca," she said to her fellow coworker. "Jacob, do you have any questions from your division?" She asked.

ooc: Eeep. Sorry. My parents blocked SS and I got Si to send me the info because her internet is going whacky. And I don't have a lot of time, so this is a terrible post...

Jacob finished his water, placing the empty goblet on the table. "I have a few possible surveys from several members of my division." Jacob took out the copies Eteria had given him and duplicated so there was enough to go around.
