After Ginny finishes her final year at Hogwarts, she's stunned to learn that Harry, who's been out of school a year, is engaged. Not wanting to return to the Burrow, which will be full of wedding planning and activity, Ginny escapes to Diagon Alley for a bit of independent living. The twins kindly take Ginny in and offer her a job, and she drags Neville and Luna along as flatmates. Who knows what will happen now that they are living independently?

This is a VERY loose storyline so far, but we want to have the chance to explore these characters as rising adults. I have all of the main characters filled at this point. If you are interested, go ahead and post your character idea. To be honest, I'd prefer HP characters (but not necesarily HRH) rather than made-ups... although a quality made-up is always welcome. If I don't feel your character will add to the story, I probably won't say yes. Also, we're quite serious about RPing, so if you aren't on at night EST, CST, or you will only post very sporadically, don't bother. This is advanced RPing, so YES, your posts need to be longer and more detailed and we DO care about your spelling and grammar.

*thinks* We could skip to Christmas, but what would skipping 5 months gain for us in plot? I do think we should make a time jump.

I also think we can do a Grimmauld thing, and probably should. Any ideas... other than making it unsafe, of course.

I assumed the Fidelius charm was put back up as he said... but you've got him in your brain... is it back up?

And... Elizabeth is welcome to make a reappearance. I'd hate to think you felt we were pushing her out... *cling* Its so hard since we have such different schedules. I don't want DLT to die *clings more* but I feel like right now its the Kris and Erin and occasionally Ty show, which isn't fair to the rest of yall and is boring for us as we don't know what to do with your characters while we dance around.

What I DO know is that within the month we need to have our "first strike" on Voldy. Perhaps we can bring that back in. Okay... peace out.

Yeah, the fidelius charm is back up but, my point was that it was down for a little while and Grimmauld could have been compromised at that time. Not sure how or whatever since it's still unplottable so it's not like muggles would happen to see it... hmmmm.... *thinks and plots*

I think a time jump would be cool... things seem kind of lagg-ish. Even though it's kind o fmy fault. Please excuse my lack of being on a lot lately. School just gets crazy sometimes.

*pokes erin* That's alright. So... here's what i think. We can jump a bit, but how long? And what's the purpose? The problem we have is that the different plotlines move at different speeds... which is why we tried to combine them. So... now everyone is pretty much together. What do we want to do?

A battle? We needed to strike before the "month" was up. Let's work for that.

One week later... du du du...

Things at Grimmauld had gone well. George and Fred only started two fires, Ginny and Harry were only caught snogging twice, Tonks only fell down the stairs once, and Hermione was up to her usual busy bodiness, and Dani had found the secret passage in her bedroom that led to the kitchen. The only thing out of the ordinary were the hushed whispers from Snape and Sinistra.. and the much more frequent fly-bys by Dumbledore...

It was early one morning, before the sun had come up or before anyone had awoken..when it happend...

Fred's eyes popped open, but he didn't move...

TA DA. Now.. what happend..I do not know. I'm assuming the attack. Is a week too short of a time jump? If it is, erase this post and we'll pretend it never happend. Did I step over the line? EH? If I did, I swear my feelings won't be hurt and just delete this. =) I just miss BLT.

The noise upstairs was people moving around. THere was no denying that... Fred's first thought went to George. George was the only person that would be up at the crack of dawn, scuffling through the attic. He turned his head slowly.. and George was in his bed, his eyes wide as well. Someone was in the attic..Another thud.. People were in the house.

Fred slid out of bed slowly, and slipped his wand from his waistband, where he kept it while he slept. He wanted to get to Hermione's room. He wanted to run and check on Dani. But.. he had to get word to someone in charge.. For once, Fred was thinking like a true Order member..

Fred could hear that whoever it was still up in the attic. ANd by the sounds of it, their numbers were growing. Not bothering to get dressed, Fred creaked open the door to his and George's room and slipped out. In normal circumstances, Fred would of felt at least a little uncomfortable stalking through the house in his tight black underwear, and only his tight black underwear, but not this time.

He could hear George following after, and saw him dash into Dani's room quietly. Fred went to Hermione's room. She was awake, and put his finger over his mouth. He took up her hand, and led her out of the room. Someone needed to make sure SNape and Sinistra were awake. They were usuasally in the bottom room, so they probably were unable to hear footsteps overhead..

Holding onto Hermione's hand tight, they descended the stairs. The paining of Ms. Black gave them an evil eye, but kept quiet. Pushing open the door to Sinistra and Snape's room, Fred sent a silencing charm straight ahead.

Fred couldn't have Sisistra and SNape yelling at him at a time like this...

He heard the door open and immediately sat up, ensuring the sheet covered Tara. He opened his mouth to give the intruder(s) a tongue lashing but, nothing came out of it. His face contored a bit in rage at having been hexed into silence but, soon relaxed into a sneer which unmistakably expressed his displeasure and what might happen to he who had cast that spell when Snape was fully dressed.

Hermione was awoken by thuds above her that sounded much like feet. She stared at the ceiling above her, wondering what, or who, for that matter, in Merlin's name it could be. Chances were it wasn't anybody good lurking about in the attic of the headquarters for the Order of the Phoenix.

She got up and out of her bed and grabbed her wand from her bedside table just as Fred came in. He motioned for her to be quiet, and she obeyed, accepting his hand, holding on tight, as she was quite scared. She walked with him down the stairs and couldn't help but notice what Fred was wearing... or rather, wasn't wearing. She blushed and found herself thankful that it was dark in the house.

They had come to the room where Snape and Sinistra were and Fred had opened the door and silenced both in a hurry. He had just hexed not only one, but two teachers! They weren't their teachers anymore, but still, Hermione couldn't fathom the thought of ever using magic on a professor.

George scooped up Dani, and she blinked at him sleepily. He put a finger to her lips and smiled. "We're playing a quiet game, lovey. We're going to see if we can be really quiet." Dani nodded and burrowed her head against George's shoulder, clutching tight to the robe he'd thought to pull on. George held her tight and raced down the stairs towards the room Snape and Sinistra shared.

Tara felt Snape moving suddenly beside her and she sat up suddenly to gauge what was going on. She was glad the blanket was clutched to herself as Fred and Hermione stood in the doorway. Their faces were white and tightly drawn, and she put a calming hand on Snape's arm.

Fred took a step in, and was about to shut the door behind himself and when George with Dani in tow. With them all in the room now, Fred shut and sealed the door. The noises overhead were growing louder now, and Fred just pointed up. His face clearly read that he didn't know what to do, and was looking to them for help... He mouthed the words, "They're in the attic.."

Snape looked up at a noise from above them just as the Weasley twin in nothing but his underpants pointed. He grabbed his wand off the night table and waved it over his body, fully clothing himself and getting out of the bed. "Make yourselves useful for once and stay here while I investigate," he sneered.

Tara clothed herself in the same manner and gathered Dani into her arms as the girl ran to her. She listened to the child's whispers about the game they were playing and threw George a grateful glance. "Yes, love, we're hiding from some very loud men. You go and hide in my wardrobe and see if you can be completely quiet." Tara watched Dani scamper off and she turned back to where Snape was moving towards teh door. "Do you want me to come too?"

Snape looked back at Tara and watched as Dani followed her mother's instructions, locking herself in the wardrobe. "I'd rather you stayed here until I can acertain what is going on," he said, eyeing the twins and waiting for one of them to volunteer to go as well.

Hermione squeezed Fred's hand when Snape looked at them, almost expecting one of the twins to volunteer to go. And knowing them, they probably would. She suddenly thought of something. "H-has anyone thought about Harry? He is in the house you know... someone should probably go check on him since he is, well... who he is," she said quietly, now greatly disturbed by the fact she had just thought of. "And Ron, Ron too," she added quickly.

Fred groaned. Why hadn't he thought of his own brother? And not to mention Harry.. "George and I will go after those two. We should of thought of them..,"he said kicking himself. Fred squeezed Hermione's hand, softly and let go. "Hermione.. take care. You're smart, and bloody brilliant with your wand. So..I'm not going to worry about you." He was lying.

"George? You ready?" Fred asked, tapping his wand against his brother's.

George clicked his wand to Fred's in a salute and followed him out the door. "I don't have anyone to say good bye to," he pretended to sulk and followed it by blowing kisses to both Tara and Hermione.

Out in the hallway, George stopped Fred. "Can we just rush up there and wake them like we did with the others? Let's be careful. We don't know who is here or where they are."

Snape sighed but, didn't bother to prevent the twins from leaving. He gave Tara what he hoped was a reassuring look before heading out the door. He walked quietly behind the twins and continued up another flight after they turned off to awaken their friends. He could hear voices and the thumping increased in volume as he neared the door to the attic.

Hermione stared at the door when Fred, George, and Snape left the room. Her palms were sweaty, for now she was nervous... four of the men she cared about most were somewhere in this dark house and for all they knew, during an invasion of death eaters. She was left in the room with Tara and Dani. She turned to them and smiled nervously, twisting her hands in each other and pacing slowly.

"If you act nervous, I'll get nervous. This is no time for nerves. We need to get ready to make flight if necessary. I know we're supposed to stay here, but there are things we need to do that they, as men, will never think of. Are you dressed sufficiently for travel? Do you want to borrow some of my robes? I want you to stay here while I go across the hall and start a fire in the kitchen fire place. We may need to travel by floo on short notice. Can you guard Dani?"

"I'm fine with what I have on..." Hermione said, looking down at her pajamas. They weren't ideal for traveling, but they were warm and covered her well. "Of course I'll watch Dani," she said, nodding, glad Tara had thought of starting a fire.

"Yeah.. we should be careful..," Fred said as if he hadn't already thought of that. Harry's room is lower than ours though.. maybe, somehow they are just sleeping through this all...," Fred's tone wasn't very convincing, as the sounds from overhead only got louder. Taking a deep breath first, Fred lead the way up to Harry and Ron's room, careful not to step on the particularly loud steps. George, came up behind him and stood, both of their wands ready. Fred nervously put his hand on their doorknob..and swung the door open..

No one was there..Just empty beds.

George swore silently and kept from throwing things around. No need to blow their cover NOW. "Where are they?" he whispered fiercely. "Are they just out of bed already or did someone take them? Honestly..." He trailed off and stared overhead in consternation. It sounded as if they intruders were walking across teh attic towards the attic door. "Check the bathroom and the rooms on that side of the hall. I'll check the rooms on this side. Hurry."

Tara slipped from the room, glad that she and Snape were given one on the lower floor. She walked quickly across the hall and into the kitchen, moving quietly and checking the shadows as she went. She really just wasn't intended for work like this; her heart was racing and she felt her paleness and worry. In the kitchen, it took three flicks of her wand before she got the fire started. It roared and Tara gave a small gasp and looked around. All the hidden shadows were now lit and the kitchen was empty. With a sigh, Tara turned and raced back for the cover of her room.
