| | |  Rumour: 750 pages in book 7 so far
The Daily Mirror and The Times note that J.K.Rowling recently attended a tea party to celebrate the premiere of ' Driving Lessons'.
She reportedly told a journalist at the event that book 7 was "up to about 750 pages" at the moment. This would make it just shorter than ' Order of the Phoenix' (the longest Potter book so far), which has 766 pages in the British edition. Quote:
“I’m up to about 750 pages now, but I’m not telling anyone what happens to Harry,” she says. “I’ve just come along to support Rupert who’s absolutely terrific in Driving Lessons.”

That would be sweet if the book is only 750 pages long, but at the same time I hope that it will be longer than the fifth book for the United States of America it is 870 pages long.

 Lol! hahahaaa, I think she's not even close to done with Book 7. I mean, there is a lot to be added and stuffed into that one book! *crosses fingers and hopes that Harry wont die*. Rupert can do anything *Sings i've got teh power*. JK sure has power, she'll be a multi-billionaire by the time all the movies are released, and book seven is finished and released aswell. *sighs and gets jealous* "Power!:evillaugh*. I reckon the book will be a great success, she might make some more books after. *crosses fingers again hoping that Book 7 will be REALLY long!*.

Hm... i wonder she means that she done adding to it (minus the editing). At least, (if this reporter is correct) we know it will be a long book.
And they said OoTP was 766 pages in the british edition, the US was 870, so i wonder how the 750 british pages translates into the scholastic edition...
