| | |  Rumour: 750 pages in book 7 so far
The Daily Mirror and The Times note that J.K.Rowling recently attended a tea party to celebrate the premiere of ' Driving Lessons'.
She reportedly told a journalist at the event that book 7 was "up to about 750 pages" at the moment. This would make it just shorter than ' Order of the Phoenix' (the longest Potter book so far), which has 766 pages in the British edition. Quote:
“I’m up to about 750 pages now, but I’m not telling anyone what happens to Harry,” she says. “I’ve just come along to support Rupert who’s absolutely terrific in Driving Lessons.”

She's 'upto' 750 pages, so I take it she may only be half way through - horrayyyy. Longer the better, she did say you could use the last book as a door stop! Or was that my own Assumption? Ummm, can't remember - either way, it's gonna be big!

Wow! If she hasn't finished yet that means the next one is going to be big! I just checked and oOTP has got 766, Half Blood Prince 607 and GoF 636. the next book will be wonderful but also sad as it will all be over then!
