| | | HP a 'book to re-read'
The Potter books have made the Encarta List of the "10 Books You Should (Re)Discover." The series came in at number 6.
Other books on the list include A Little Princess (#3, the film adaptation of which was directed by PoA Director Alfonso Cuaron), The Catcher in the Rye, and The Chocolate War.

Well, of course you have to re-read them! That's how we all understand the stories more, and since they're all connected, then we re-read all the books to look for the subtle hints of what's to come, right?
And can I just say that I'm totally jealous that you guys actually have time to re-read? I've only read all 5 books twice because time is something that I, unfortunately, don't really have. Work and housework pretty much takes up most of my time these days. I know, I know, I could be reading instead of posting here but I usually read before I go to bed. By that time though, I'm totally exhausted, so I would read about a chapter a night before I'm completely knocked out.
I am planning on re-reading all 5 books right before HBP comes out. That way, everything is still fresh when I go on to my next big adventure... |

i agree re-reading them before HBP comes out is a must but never ever read the book before the film comes out it spoils both for you.

Haha, I've read each of the books (all of them together, not each singular book) a grand total of nearly 50 times (simply an estimate)

Yeh I thought it would be...HP is certainly a book to re-read! I read the whole series(books 1-5) in two weeks! I am curently reading the first book again and I will keep on reading the whole series until book 6 comes out...believe me they are not boring even though you know what's going to happen!!! They get more exciting each time!

I think the HP series should be the number 1 book to read! It is definetly the best book ever, after I read the series the first time, I read them all over again! and again! and I'm still reading them! hahahaha!

not too surprised!! lol ~ i mean, i just never get tired of them!! i don't think that real fans do either! lol..... i think i've read the whole series like 7or8 times, in the past two years.... people ask me all the why i don't read other books, but the funny thing is... i do!! i've been know to read like 4 different books at the same time (some for school and stuff like that)(same time, not meaning same moment...lol) i guess my excuse for all of that is........ I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!! lol~
