| | 'Goblet of Fire' gets an M rating in Australia
' Goblet of Fire' has been given an M rating in Australia. This means it is recommended for those who are 15 and over however there is no actual restriction on who can see the film or whether parents should accompany children to see it. The reasons given were 'Moderate fantasy violence' which 'contains material that requires a mature perspective.'

Gosh, some people really need to read! lol! Like many people have already pointed out, an M rating in Australia isn't that bad. It's probably better than the rating that it got in Britain...don't children under 12 have to be accompanied by an adult there? But with the M rating here in Australia, anyone can go see it...it's just not recommended for people under 15.
I personally think it's really good that it's rated M! I doubt many kids won't be allowed to see it; if they've read the book, they'll know what to expect. But i think it'll gain a new audience...all the people who think Harry Potter is childish might start to realise that it's not just for litte kids.

Yay! I'm all for the M rating...it's not as if kids wont be able to watch the movie, there'll just be alot less of them

^ Dude, read! It's not an age limit it only means it's not recommended for people under 15, there aren't any actual restrictions. it's funny because all the Aussies are going "It's not that bad!", while the people from other places are saying it's like the end of the world.

sorry to be so spiteful, i just found that funny that you have posted so many posts VCD's? Oh you mean the PIRATED movies you buy from Malaysia and China, or some shifty store in an alleyway in the city?
Now is the time, where I point at you and laugh for assuming without prior knowledge or facts. I've only actually posted around 1000 posts. It's a long story, but I don't feel like telling you. |
