| | | TerrorTours Service Desk The TerrorTours Service Desk is where you head to arrange payment for the holiday you book. While there is no cash register there is a safe in the back office where all funds are kept. This area is simply a desk with an in and out tray which is charmed to move things on its own, a ledger where the shopkeeper records details of the bookings. There are various other bits of stationary, inkwells, quills, and magical post it notes strewn about here and there.
Behind the desk there is a massive world map with different coloured push pins marking the various locations available for visit. There are also a wide variety pictures on hand to take a closer look at. There is an extravagant and extremely comfortable chair behind the desk which is where you can usually find the shopkeeper, and two chairs arranged in front of the desk for clients. A short distance away there is a rather comfy little waiting area for customers to use while they are waiting to be helped, or if they simply want to sit down and flip through a brochure. Please be sure to wait your turn and try not to shout and such while sitting about, please.
Ooc: please don't chat in this thread. Post here if you need to interract with the shopkeeper and purchase a holiday pack. If you want to chat and RP for fun with your friends, you can do that at the Brochure Display or in the Seating Area, or return to the North end of the street. |

Taking a deep breath he swiveled back around and eyed the manperson. Discount... girl he loved's vacation after school... this was a one time deal. Sabel watched the man as he swiveled back about, considered his expression and his eying sort of...eying. It must have been a business man thing, or a sales person thing, or maybe it was a normal expression and train of thought when talking about unrequited love. But the truth of the matter was, there was no longer any unrequited love, and he wasn't about to start down that road of conversation any time again.
Not to mention, the whole topic of love, details and discounts had set him quite on edge. He would take Damien's gruff, chiding demeanor ten times enhanced over this conversation again. Any day. "Again, I thank you for the offer." Folding the brochure, he tucked it away in to his pocket and did his best to give the man a small smile. "But I'll be paying full expenses when I come back to book it." Not wanting to end off of a terribly bad foot, he extended his hand; peace? "I'll see you sometime in the near future, Coeus. Thank you again."

| Coeus waved his hands sort of shooing the manchild from his shop. "Fine. Go then. I was trying to extend a courtesy but I see that is is wasted on you. You... FEH," he said and then said something in a string of Greek that was sure to be unpleasant.
Dramatically he swiveled back around in his seat... and spun back facing the boy since he overcompensated for dramatic effect. Go away RUDE, unwilling to admit love, child! |

Taking his hand back he gave the man a little wave instead. He had enough on his mind that letting the man's perception get under his skin was just not productive or wise. So, he let it fall off his shoulders for now. Maybe later they could debate the ways of love. Later, when he figured out what was going on in his mind. "See you later then, Coeus." Another wave and he was out the door.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Melina Morninglory- "Glory" Second Year | WizWorld Universal / Tom Felton for President
Melina sat down in one of extremely comfortable chairs with a several brochures on Mediterranean vacations. Gah, too many choices! Melina eyed them all hungrily. Ohhh, she wanted to go so badly!!
Hoping the shopowner didn't think she was an unattended child (she didn't fancy becoming a pomegranate or something), the 11-year old waited patiently until she could get his attention.
She smiled up at him, asking "Excuse me- I was wondering if you could help me? I have about a thousand Mediterranean brochures in my lap and can't puzzle out which would work out the best. You see, I need one that includes Croatia- it's where my mother's family is from, and I hear that Dubrovnik is simply gorgeous! Do you have any tours that you would recommend?" |

Coeus looked over and eyed the small child for a moment. SIGH. He was not in a very pleasant mood today. Children had been his only customers... and they all wanted to get him talking about holidays and then LEAVE. It's not like they could go without their parents anyway... SIGHSIGHSIGH.
Standing up a bit straighter he smiled sweetly at the child and nodded his head. "Sure thing. Croatia is indeed beautiful. I would suggest it to anyone. Although, there is more of a calm there. Very set in old traditions if you will. Not a particularly big hot spot for partying and whatnot. Are you planning a family holiday perchance?" he said good naturedly. Mhm. Business first. Never show irritation. Not that he was particularly irritated with THIS child. Not at all. Yet. |

Never show irritation. Not that he was particularly irritated with THIS child. Not at all. Yet. Ok, this man doesn't think I'm just a silly child taking up his time for nothing, Melina thought to herself. At least he's not acting like it. She'd only seen kids her age in here since she'd walked in, and they just wanted to ask the man tons of questions about places to go without any real plans that she could tell. Like the guy was a geography teacher. Or had nothing better to do than answer tons of irrelevant questions.
She grinned up at the nice man. "Don't worry- I'm only 11, not quite old enough for the party scene!" she laughed. "Yes, this is a family trip for my mother, father, and myself. My dad and I are surprising her for her 40th birthday. My father said that I was in charge of choosing the tour, and putting down the initial deposit." She wondered if he'd ever heard an 11-year old say that before.
She was always a bit grown-up for her age, but she was the only child of an ex-Auror and a Muggle mediator for the United Nations. She was born grown up, sometimes whether she liked it or not. Her dad was her best friend; he'd taught her everything about, well, everything. Her mother...well, world peace seemed to always come before family, Heads-of-State before Daughter-of-House. Getting her mother to go on this trip meant the world to Melina-and her dad knew it. That's why he'd allowed her so much responsibility in planning it. "We'd like to go in the Spring, around the week of April 7th, for 7 to 10 days. I'd like it to include Croatia, Italy, Greece and Cyprus. Maybe cruise and land combo or something? I must say I'm a bit overwhelmed by the choices- but that's where you come in, Mr. Expert!". She grinned at the nice man again. It was so much fun to be precocious.

| Coeus watched her distractedly and picked at a hang nail. Really.
He wasn't even sure whether to believe her or not... an eleven year old child coming in and paying... and booking and whatnot. SIGHS. Nodding his head a few times he sat back in the chair and crossed one leg over the other. "Why a cruise land combo? Why not apparate to where you all want to go, or FLOO and then if you want to, you can take a boat ride. Cheaper way of traveling and to be perfectly honest, much easier." Seriously.
Mr. Expert? Was she picking at him? How rude! He pursed his lips a bit and looked down his nose at her. "Well you can go all places really. What kind of package do you want though? Deluxe?" he asked as he began to assault the hang nail once more. |

Deluxe?" he asked as he began to assault the hang nail once more. He's picking at his hangnail. Is he bored or does he not believe anything I've just said? Melina wondered. Either way, it was irritating her. Ok, she knew she was far from an adult, but for Merlin's sake she wasn't a nose-picking kindergartener either. Did he just SIGH? Melina pursed her lips and tried not to scowl. Why did he make such a face at her when she called him Mr. Expert? She was attempting to compliment him because he was the expert, but apparently he didn't take it the way she'd meant. Brilliant.
She was going to have to be no-nonsense with this bloke. Fine, if that's the way he wanted it. "My mother's a Muggle and really doesn't take to Wizarding transportation. She thinks flooing is extremely uncouth. I think she's ridiculous but that's the way she is. As this trip is her birthday present we're trying to accomodate her wishes. My father and I would certainly prefer to travel by magical means. Perhaps if my mother is spending a day at a spa (which was more than probable), my father and I could apparate or floo to some historic sites. Is that possible?"
She would have loved to tell this chap that he wasn't dealing with some vapid preteen that spent all her time reading Teen Witch Weekly and painting her toenails. She spoke three languages and partied with Heads-of-State at her mother's U.N. functions. Her father was an ex-auror, so he was no dummy either. She knew how to handle herself with adults. So there, buddy.
Unable to resist at least one snippy comment, she finished by replying, "Perhaps Muggle transportation isn't one of this company's specialities. If that's the case I apologize, and I'll take my business elsewhere." Oh yeah, mister. It's on. ooc: Can a Wizard perform a side-along apparation with a Muggle? Always wondered that.

| IFAIL... did not see this. My apologies for lateness. Hearing someone enter the shop Coeus came out of his office with a smile on his face. "Hellllloooo. Welcome to TerrorTours, what can I help you with today? Wanna head to Greece? Mt. Kilimanjaro? Everest? Anywhere your heart desires I can make it happen," he said in greatest sales person voice. Well that was what he was... he sold DREAMS. *snort* |

| It's perfectly okay to be a little loony ♥
Skye smiled as she entered the shop. She was looking forward to a holiday, she wanted to get back to her home in Ireland soon enough. She pushed the door open, hoping there weren't too many people ahead if her. She took out her map of Ireland and began to plan places to go, Giant's Causeway, G.P.O., Cliffs of Mogher, Mizen Head, Aran Islands, she grinned as she thought about it.

"Um, maybe some other time," he said. "Actually, I was wondering if you were having any specials, or if you wanted a coupon in the Daily Prophet." He didn't explain that he worked for the Daily Prophet, he hoped she had gotten that part.

| Coeus nodded his head at the gentleman and motioned him over to a chair nearby. As he plopped down in a chair himself and kicked his feet up on the table he took on a rather pensive look.
"I would like it to be known that I will extend group rates and special deals to all Daily Prophet employees that need to travel for stories. As well all Ministry departments and Gringott's employees. Those in particular anyway. I would take into consideration any Diagon Alley employees that need to travel for work, actually. But only if the trips are work related. And a coupon... perhaps a voucher of some sort for those groups... and maybe a 10 percent off coupon for all other patrons?" he suggested after a moment of mulling it over.
Well, Hunter had suggested that he do such things. Really he needed to contact the head honchos for those groups and get the ball rolling on his own.

That was a lot; he didn't know if he couldn't put it all in there. Maybe he's just put in a coupon, and kind of let his...co-workers know about the other stuff. Well, that would work. "Okay," he said, because he couldn't think of anything else to say. He stood up. "Well, uh, thank you. I guess I'll be going now." And with that he left that place. |

| Not sure where Coeus is?
With wand in hand, Gretchen entered TerrorTours levitating a rather large box in front of her. A small flick of her wrist, and the box slowly moved itself into an empty chair in the seating area much like an obedient child waiting for it's parent to start and wrap up a business meeting. Except that it wasn't. It was just a box.
Now where was the shopkeeper? "Hello.." Gretchen called out softly, slowly approaching the desk, her brown eyes glancing around.

| Oh dear... Coeus heard the bell toll letting him know someone had entered. Covered in paint from nearly head to toe he rushed toward the desk with his smock still on and a paintbrush in his hand. "Heeeeellllloooooo! Welcome to TerrorTours -- OH! Do you have a package for ME? Oh dear, how unexpected! Please set it here on the desk, love!" he exclaimed as he caught sight of a woman. With a box. In his shop. FUN TIMES!
"Coeus Miarkos here. And who might you be, madame?" |

| Made of Awesome | Ern-la the Best-wa | TZ's Apogee It was possible there was a line. There was often a line at these shops in Diagon Alley, but Hunter sort of felt like she didn't have to wait. Why should she, when she wasn't there for a tour?
She was there to flirt.
"Hello, Mr. Miarkos. What sort of vacation are you going to try to sell me today?" She leaned on the counter and peered around for him. Co? Hello?

| Coeus heard the angelic voice calling out to him before he turned around. Hehe. A big, goofy grin on his face he turned and said, "Where would you like to go, Ms. Bones?" He would take the woman ANYWHERE.
Leaning across the desk right back at her he wiggled his eyebrows and puckered up. Not like he had any business anyway... why not get some kisses? |

| Made of Awesome | Ern-la the Best-wa | TZ's Apogee "Here looks good. No, actually... THERE looks good," she nodded at the chair on his side of the desk, which was much more comfortable looking than any of the others.
She placed her fingertip to his lips with an arch look. Not in front of the children, clearly. Or the pictures of children. Whichever. "I have a present for you."

| Coeus made a grand sweeping motion for Hunter to come around the desk and take a seat wherever she would like. Heh. GIDDY COEUS FOR THE WIN.
...
His face fell just a tid bit as she refused his kiss. POO! Oh well, at least SHE was here. That would make it all better. "A--a gift for ME?"he asked with a grin spreading across his face. "Well come on then. Let's see it," he said with a little bounce to emphasize how AWESOME he thought it all was.

| Made of Awesome | Ern-la the Best-wa | TZ's Apogee He was all jittery. It was endearing, so long as he didn't jitter too close in her direction. Hunter gave him a grin and a head shake as she circled the desk and stole his comfy chair.
"The best present. My gran always says that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. So I brought you... a sandwich." Yes, she'd brought him lunch. It didn't make her some simpering fool of a woman, though. Just thoughtful. Thoughtful was okay.

| A SAMMICH?! This woman was a GOD SEND! It was official. Mhm. Coeus slid himself up onto the counter behind him and smiled brightly at her. "Let's have it then. I am starving. YOu ... you are great, you know?"
Hehe. It was TRUE. Now about that sammich... |
