Alicia walked up to the teller window, the money in her purse.

When she finally reached the empty window she gave a nervous smile...She had quite a lot of money to exchange - and then after exchanging place in a bank. "Hello, I would like to open an account please - as well as exchange and deposit 5145.24 Pounds into that account." She smiled nervously still hoping it would work out.

As soon as Sorrel spied the teller windows, she made a beeline straight to them. However, upon reaching them, she felt a wave of shyness crash over her, making her stomach flip with butterflies. "UU-uum," she cleared her throat, her face burning at her momentarily-lost voice, "I'd like to exchange pounds for Galleons please..." She glanced down, allowing her long hair cover her brick red face.

Bok's face fell as the witch's request. "I'm sorry I can only exchange your money and put it in your vault, but I can't open a new one for you at this window." She hated to say she couldn't do something for a customer. She actually liked helping wizards.

Her lunch date didn't go as she planned, but she was going to wear him down. He couldn't not notice her. She had a big yellow bows tied around both of her ears. Who could not notice that. She looked like a spanking new penny! Bok climbed back into her chair and smiled at the young witch. "Well hello there. How can I help you?" she asked with a very goblin grin. "And how many pounds do you have?" she asked as the girl explained her request.

Walking to the window to take his place in line Mikey gives small smile and a nod to the teller

Bok looked up as another wizard walked up to her window, "Can I help you?" she asked him.

Paisley had been awe-struck from the time she stepped through the front doors of Gringotts. Never had she seen a building so large. The building was not what had intrigued Paisley the most, though. It was the goblins. She had never seen a goblin in real life before, only in books. They seemed even smaller in person, but that did not make them any less intimidating.

Paisley kept close to her dad as they took their place in the line. They had to exchange their American dollars for Wizard currency. She busied herself by looking around at all the people. She saw other children her age and older at various windows. She wondered if she would be meeting any of them when she started Hogwarts.

Finally it was their turn, and Paisley's dad handed over a small stack of bills to the goblin. She was too busy thinking of all the school supplies she was going to buy. Paisley loved school and couldn't wait to get started on her magical training.

Nessie entered the impressive building. This is a bank alright. She thought. She walked up to the first open teller she could find. Can you help me? I want to exchange this money, please She shows the goblin the $1000 dollars her parents gave her for shopping. She was baffled when her father gave her this amount. He explained that he had no idea how much would be enough for school supplies so he gave me as much as my parents could afford.

Walking to the direction the goblin had directed, Marcelo observed the place first, very impressed again at its richness. He really wanted to know how much money they had spent on this building. Then, eyes settling down on the goblins that were serving them at last, he was surprised to see there seemed to be line. Wow. He certainly didn't imagine many were foreign. Eyes all over the place as he waited once again, he offered a formal smile at the goblin that was to exchange his money.

"Hello," he greeted, pausing short for a moment as he wondered what their titles were. Oh well. Directly down to the business, then. "I'd like to exchange 750 Brazilian Real," he went on while he took the money out of his pocket and handed it to the goblin.

"Do you work by owls too?" If not, he just had to convert around 1000 sometime in these two months to survive through the school year.

Bok was not feeling well. She had a summer cold and that never made a goblin happy. But Bok was never a mean goblin like most, but today she was working hard to stay positive and keep happy. "How may I help you?" she asked blowing her nose as the witch walked up to her window. She took the American money and placed it on the scales, "Well dear that will be 99 galleons, 5 sickles and 5 knuts. And the bank fee is 5 galleons." she counted out the money and subtracted the bank fee. "94 galleons, 5 sickles and 5 knuts." She placed the money into a gringotts bag for the girl.

She waved the next wizard forward. "Hi," she said turning her head to sneeze a stack of papers all over the floor. She groaned. She had just put those in order. It was going to be a long day for Bok. She nodded and weighted out the money on the scale. It was the first time she had seen Brazilian reals before. She wondered if she could keep them. "That will be 37 galleons, 12 sickles and 19 knuts. The bank fee is 5 galleons." She placed the money into a gringotts bag, "32 galleons, 12 sickles and 19 knuts. And no we don't work by owl. All bank business must be conducted at the bank." she informed him with a small sneeze.

Skye opened the door to Gringotts and walked in. She was a little worried because of the Goblins but she took a deep breath and walked over to exchange her currency. She looked around and was intrigued by the building. "Hello. How are you doing on this fine day? I'd like to exchange my Muggle money please. I have $3200 USD." She paused and waited for the teller to respond back.

Justin knew that he had to exchange the money that his mother had given him from her muggle bank, so he nervously walked towards the teller stationed at the currency exchange area. Looking up at the teller Justins softly cleared his throat hoping to get the tellers attention but not annoy at the same time. " Excuse me I need to exchange five thousand euros please. " said Justin matter of factly. He wanted to be taken seriously, after all he had come to Gringotts alone today.

George and his parents slowly walked over to the counter that was marked Currency Exchange. There seemed to be a large number of people who were exchanging there regular money for these coins of varying size and color. That seemed like the best place to turn in the application that George had filled out to open a new vault. He walked to the available window and said, "Hello sir, I would like to exchange some British pounds and open a new account," as he laid the application on the desk in front of him

"Thank you knid Goblin, I hope you feel better soon. Have a good day." Nessie walked back out onto the streets to continue shoping for school supplies.

Marcelo delicately took one step back as the papers flew to the floor. After a short pause of whether he should pick them up or not, he decided to help the sick Goblin. Not that he wanted to help; they had their own magic while he was left here without being able to perform it for another 1,5 years. No sir, he just wanted to keep her away so that the illness wouldn't affect him as well.

Collecting the lot he could, he deliberately placed them on the counter. Then, as she explained the amount he was given, he gasped in awe. FIVE--as in not one, two, or three but FIVE--GALLEONS for a simple bank fee?! As in those most precious GOLD money?! He blinked for a moment, replaying her sentence in his mind. Well, if they charged that much from a simple money exchange, then no wonder how this place looked so rich. They were practically robbing people!

"Five galleons, have you said?" he asked, careful to be polite and not accusing, although he had heard her quite clearly. "That is a large amount." Just saying. And this had nothing to do with whether he needed those five galleons or not. If he didn't think a price didn't reflect the quality, he'd always speak his mind, whether it was only one real or not. And now, he thought this was robbery.

He wanted to see the director.

She sighed as the next student walked up to her window. She wondered what parents told their children about goblins, why were they so scared of them. It wasn't like they ate children or anything. The girl looked scared, but Bok wasn't going to say anything, but she took the girls money and weighted it on the scale. "It will be 317 galleons, 13 sickles, and 5 knuts. The bank fee is 5 galleons." She slide the gold and silver into a gringotts bag. "So 312 galleons, 13 sickles and 5 knuts." she handed the bag over to the girl.

She sneezed and wiped her nose as the next kid walked up. This was going to be a long day. Bok took the money and weighted it, "That's 1,000 galleons and with the 5 galleon bank fee. Its 995 galleons." she placed the money in a gringotts bag and handed it over to the boy.

Bok brown eyes flashed at being called a sir. "Female goblins do not have hair in their ears." she told him hotly. Just so he would know when he was speaking to a female goblin. She pointed to her ears and their lack of hair. "How much money do you have to exchange? And I don't do applications at this window." she informed him.

She gave the little girl a smile and a nod.

She handed the bag over to the wizard and expected him to be done wit his bank business. She nodded her head when he helped with her papers. She could have gotten them, but it was always nice when a wizard was nice to a goblin. She raised an eyebrow at him when he balked at the price they charged for money exchange. She was not used to being questioned about their fees. "Then you should have more money," she told him coolly. That wouldn't have been her normal reply but she was sick and she didn't like his tone. "If you have a problem I am sure the Manager will want to hear it." she offered. Knowing good and well the Manager would roast him alive.

Marcelo grabbed the back, but he wasn't leaving before he got a proper answer. He raised his eyebrows in the same fashion she did to him--then he should have more money?! What kind of an answer was that?! He didn't determine the amount his parents gained, did he?

"How much money I have is not this bank's interest." Just so she knew. Then you should have more money... HMPF. Her reply was like a joke. Maybe he should tell about this to the director too.

"Yes, I'd like to see him. Thank you." That was the reason he didn't like goblins. They thought they owned the world or something, just because their hand-work was good.

Skye took the bag and put it in her bag. "Thank you very much." She said in a peaceful voice. "I hope you have a wonderful day." She smiled and walked out to get her school supplies.

Feeling flustered after trying to pay for his robes with euros, Devon dejectedly walked towards the counter, ignoring the vast building filled with busy individuals, chandeliers, some odd paper flying around or the wizard arguing with the obviously sick goblin teller. He had his head down looking at the marble floor until it was his turn at the counter. "Having a good day?" He asked the goblin, "I'm not" he thought. "I'd like to exchange 4000 euros please" he said morosely, afraid he'll be denied or redirected to another counter.

Skye came back into Gringotts. She found more money in her pocket that she forgot to hand to the Goblin when she first came back in. She was in here once, she can do it again. She goes up to the counter. She started talking in a confident voice. "Hi. I was here earlier today. I found some more money in my pocket that I forgot to convert. I'm sorry I'm back. I have $4000 USD. Can I convert this to wizard money please?" She waited for the Goblin to respond back.

Bok sneezed as reached for some tissue. This was the pits having a cold in the summer. And this wizard was not improving her temperament. "Well see that is of interest to a bank. That's our job." It wasn't her problem if he was poor. They would take anyone's money, it wasn't her fault the cost of gold had risen.

She hopped off her stool, "Well SHE will be happy to see you," Why did everyone think only male goblins worked? "Follow me please," she waddled in front of him leading him up to Trumplin's office.

She nodded and tried to smile and hold in a sneeze but it made her look like she was snarling.

She eyes the girl suspiciously. "You just walked out of the bank and you just suddenly found $4,000 American dollars in your pocket?" she asked her. That was highly unlikely. "I think we need to have a word with security." she said to the girl. Gringotts goblins took theft very seriously. She got off her stool, "Follow me." she told the girl sharply. She showed the girl to the security offices.

Marcelo eyed the goblin as se used some more tissue. He resisted the urge to step back. Sure, the goblin kept away from him while she was... getting done with her nose; but that nose was too long for him not to be in the range of viruses. Nevertheless, better to protect himself than being polite, and he stood five centimetres back while she wasn't looking. Yeah... better to be far, far away.

It was their job?! Holding back a mean laughter, he said "It is your job to serve, not rob." But why was he taking to this goblin anyway? He had requested to see the director, and he was going to see him. Might as well save his breath.

She again? Leave it up to female to 'enrich' the world! He bet she had a hefty pay check too, even if she was a goblin. Oh, hopefully she wasn't. He didn't really want to be closed up with a female goblin in a small room.

Following the goblin, he placed his exchanged money well into his pocket. These goblins were unpredictable, and they might demand more money at any moment just because he was going to talk to the director.

Of course, in order to be able to shop in the wizarding world one needed wizarding money which Josh pretty much lacked right now due to the fact that he only earned muggle money by working for his uncle and yeah he had that certain money in his pocket as he entered the huge bank which was full of people and goblins.

Not really paying much attention to the whereabouts, the seventeen year old Gryffindor boy directly approached the Teller Window waiting for his turn. Yet, Josh did not like waiting unless it was for Evelyn so he sighed impatiently until he found the first opportunity to speak to the bank worker there. ''Hello.'' he said first of all trying to sound kind yet the boredom was clear in his voice. ''I need to exchange these for wizarding money.''

Then, he slipped his right hand into his right pocket and digged though it to collect the money in his pocket. That was maybe a struggle of two or three minutes as he tried to pick the money among all the empty chocolate wrappers in his pocket. ''AHA!'' then the lion boy exclaimed happily when he finally managed to take the money out his pocket. ''Here, this.'' smiling a bit he dropped the 19,30 pounds before the bank worker person-thing. ''...i want this to be wizarding money.''

George felt the skin in the back of his neck heat up. How was he supposed to know the difference between a female goblin or a male goblin. 24 hours ago, he didn't even know goblins existed, much less the difference between a male and female. He was more embarrassed than anything, and immediately apologized. "I am very sorry ma'am, I'm not very familiar with this whole world and I did not mean to offend you." He decided that judging by the look on the goblins face, it was prudent to be as efficient as possible in this transaction. "I would like to exchange 5000 British pounds if you would please." He also took the application down from the counter and set it off to the side.

Bok looked at the money he dropped on the counter. Not counting the time it took him to fish out the money in the first place. She took the money and weighed it out. "Its only 3 galleons, 14 sickles and 17 knuts." she said softly. This was the smallest transaction she had ever done. She slipped the money quickly into a gringotts bag.

She nodded at his apology. Good, he was properly cowed, and he wouldn't make that mistake again. She took his money and weighed it out, "This will be 1,000 galleons and with the 5 galleon bank fee. This is 995 galleons." she slipped the money into the gringotts bag.

"Thank you very much ma'am, and sorry once again for my ignorance." George said and with a nod of his head, turned and walked away from the counter without another word. As he walked out back on to the street, George thought privately that this was just the beginning of a large number of surprises and potential embarrassing moments in this new world.
