Teller Window 4: Currency Exchange and Potions Market
 

Have a wad of British pounds, Spanish Euros or American dollars on you? Well that simply won't do. Queue up and exchange for some of our fine goblin gold. To keep the goblins sane I would advise exchanging whole amounts. :shifty: Or do you want to try your hand at in the explosive Potions market? Think you are savvy enough to survive? Then why don't you buy a few shares in Weasley’s Explosive Enterprises or WonderWitch Inc. And if you don't survive our dragons are always hungry!

Sophie returned from her office and noticed someone approaching the window. All the other goblins seemed to be busy at the moment, so she walked up and smiled. It was nice to be behind the window and not a desk for a little bit.

Smiling, Sophie nodded as she listened to the young woman. "Yes, I'm the Head Broker for the Gringotts and I can surely help you." she replied and pulled out the needed documents. It was just a simple task, but she was more than happy to help the blonde. It really was a change from the other transactions she was so used to doing throughout the day.

"Two shares. We can do that for you. Did you have a portfolio set up or are these shares that you just wanted to sell?"

Raven approach the teller clerk, "hi, good day, i want to exchange some Muggle money to Wizard currency, can you help me, please"

Raven smiles widely, waiting for a response from the teller clerk.

Blugborn looked up from his paperwork and took notice of the person before him. "Hello and welcome to Gringotts." he replied with a nod. "Exchange, oh yes. You have come to the right place indeed. How much would you like to exchange today?"

"1000 US dollar, I say", Raven trick his bright smile to the Teller.

"it should be enough for the day" *though, Raven Muggle money is clear to him that is exactly 1000 USD, no more left to his pocket*

Blugborn nodded and reached for the dollars. This paper money did always confuse in but to each their own. Counting it out first, he check to see if it was all there before turning to start exchanging it.

"That will be 99 Galleons, 5 Sickles and 5 Knuts. The fee for the exchange will be 5 Galleons, 16 Sickles and 8 Knuts." he explained as he counted out the total to the young man. "Which leaves you with 93 Galleons, 5 Sickles and 25 Knuts. Was there anything else I could assist you with? Maybe you would like to open an account with us?"

Raven smiled, he thought of his dollar account in muggle bank
"how this bank, differ in my non-magical bank", he wondered

Raven says *out of his mind day dreaming*
"it's okay with me, how much is the minimum required deposit" *as if, he imagine a teller in muggle bank with long fingers and pointed ears*

Raven slowly clear his thought, regain his consciousness and said "I will opened an account, if my budget permitted it. Will you help me then, Please"

Oh happy day! Blugborn had really wanted to help open another account. Exchanges were fun but he wanted to go down to the vaults and see Bunny!

"Well, there is a fee to set up the account according to where your vault might be. But it shouldn't be more than 10 or 20 galleons at most and you can deposit was much or as little as you would like at this time." he explained was he dug for the paperwork.

Pulling out a stack of papers, he slid it over. "I will just need you to fill these out and then we can start."

Raven excitedly took the stack of paper, write some info, while reading it. he smile between question.

Raven is silent (as usual) when he is writing something.
when he is finish his form, he gave it back to the Goblin saying "Here Mr. Blugborn" *Raven smile*, "It is alright, if I started saving from 15 Galleons, Isn't it enough"

Raven paused waiting for the Goblin to speak.



ooc: i already received confirmation of my vault (vault 015) together with a bronze key

Ben and his brother joined the queue at the exchanges counter. Luckily, it was not too long. In Ben's opinion, the sooner they could get out of the crowd, the better.

Blugborn nodded and looked over the paperwork. "The fee will be 5 Galleons to set up the account, but saving starting with 15 Galleons is a good start," he replied. Making quick work with the forms, Blugborn looked up. "Your vault is 015 and your key. Please bring it with you at all time and have your wand as well."

Sliding over all the needed forms, Blugborn held up a quill. "I jsut need you to sign the ledge and if you would like to deposit more money or withdrawl any. Please enter the queue for the next window."

Herzlog groaned as he took notice of the queue. Lifting his hand, he motioned for the next person. "Can I help the next person?" he voiced as he tried to put on a smile.

Nathan all but shoved his younger brother up to face the goblin. Ben took a few short breaths, closed his eyes, and (in a forced steady voice) said, "Yes, I need to exchange this muggle money for wizarding money, please." He pulled an envelope out of his jacket pocket and, with shaking hands, offered it to the goblin, "There should be $950 U.S. Dollars there."

Herzlog peered over the desk and looked down upon the young boys before him. "Yes, welcome to Gringotts." he nodded as he took them in. The kids he saw day in and day out were getting younger and younger. As he say the younger one reach for the envelope, he pulled out his ledger. "Oh, yes. I can to an exchange for you. There is a fee of 6%." he explained as he took the envelope.

Counting out the money twice, he began to exchange it over. "$950 US Dollars converts to be 94 galleons, 5 sickles and 22 knuts. The fee for the exchange will be 5 galleons, 11 sickles and 6 knuts. That will you with a grand total of 88 galleons, 11 sickles and 15 knuts." he stated as he counted out the money to them.

"Now, is there anything else I could assist you with today?"

"Thanks a lot, Mr. Blugborn", Raven says while signing the ledger then he proceed to next window

Ben looked at the stack of money in front of him and shook his head, throat working soundlessly before making a squeaking noise and managing, "N-no, thank you." He pulled the money into a bag and stepped away from the counter.

Jaina reached down into blue messenger bag and removed an envelope. "My mum and dad gave me $2000. They were unsure of how much to give me. I do hope it's enough for everything I need." She looks at Nerida's purse. "Oh that's pretty! I guess look silly with my messenger bag, huh?" Jaina then looks down at her sneakers and jeans. "I guess I'm kinda funny looking too in these muggle clothes."

Nerida looked down at her purse forgetting what it looked like and then looked at Jania's Your purse is way more easier to carry though!Nerida looked down at her own outfit and said I think you look perfect I think I look over dressed I think I might ditch the jacket...And your shoes look way more comfier than mine!

Quazi walked toward the window and looked about. The hall looked to be picking up nicely. Business was good and that meant more vaults were being filled and she did love to have her vaults occupied.

Taking notice to the two young girls at the exchange window, Quazi looked around and stepped up. It appeared that the other goblins were busy and even Miss Sophie was with someone.

"Welcome to Gringotts. I'm Quazi and I can help you with that," she replied as she pulled out the ledger and became to get to work. It had been sometime since she had last done exchange work, but she did welcome the chance to do it again. Vault Managers liked changes in pace from time to time.

"Well let's see. $1800 would exchange to be 178 galleons, 12 sickles and 21 knuts. The fee of 6% would run about 10 galleons, 12 sickles and 9 knuts. So that would leave you with 168 galleons and 11 knuts." Quazi explained as she did the calculations.

Jotting all the information down, she took the muggle money and started to exchange it. Counting it back, she slide the money back and looked to the other young girl.

"And how much was it you needed to exchange today?"

Nerida smiled and said Hello Quazi, I'm NeridaShe listened as he said the amount. Okay that should get me all my school supplies and my wand! I have a question d you think you could awnser it for me? She reached in and took the now wizard money and stuck it into he purse... and waited for the goblins awnser and her friend...

Jaina awaited patiently while the goblin helped Nerida. Her eyes wandered around the bank in awe. She still could not believe that this was a bank!

"Of course, what would you like me to answer?" Quazi replied. She wasn't sure what she was going to be asked but she would definitely try to help them.

Beth walked up to the window, a wad of pound notes clutched in her hand.
"Hello," she said uncertainly, "I would like to exchange some muggle money please." Her stomach felt as though it were doing somersaults but after taking a deep breath Beth felt she could get through this.

Blugborn looked up from his ledger and noticed the young witch before his desk. "Welcome to Gringotts." he voiced setting his quill down. "An exchange? Oh yes, I can help you with this. How much would you like to exchange today?"
