"It just might bother me a lot.'' Not really. Olly knew he hit the jackpot with the right twin. Him and Juno were so different anyway. In any case, he had never had eyes for other girls. "I think you should. You sleep and snore too much so you sleeping on the couch would make things a lot easier for me.''

Oliver burst out laughing. Bottomless pit of a stomach was right but it was one of those things he admired about Esme. "You're welcome, baby,'' he told her fondly. "No, you're not getting any of mine.'' And he turned away from the girlfriend so she'd be unable to get any of his food. "Onion rings sound perfect.'' Already he was looking around for some.

WhittyBitty 12-07-2017 05:12 AM

Esme pretended to be offended. "Okay, that's just plain RUDE, Oliver McDean." Except not. Besides, he was lucky; they both knew that he had hit the jackpot with her. They had hit the jackpot with each other and he was lucky that she loved him just as much as he loved her. "Ooooor maybe I could make you sleep on the couch." Now THAT was an interesting idea. Hehe.

A big smile was sent his way, but then Olly was turning away from her and saying that he wasn't going to share. Pfft. Esme gave a fake out. "Well, we share sometimes." But she wasn't going to be wanting any of his today because she had more than enough food on her own. Happily she began eating one of her hotdogs. "Onion rings ARE nice." The only time that onions were good, because otherwise they were nasty. "Maybe they are where the french fries are." Made sense to her.

FearlessLeader19 12-08-2017 04:28 PM

"Excellent. I was going for mean, Esme Darcy.'' That was a huge lie since Oliver had no idea how in the world to be mean to anyone. But just look at her, inserting her bossiness as a girlfriend. It made Oli laugh. "You wouldn't do that to me. You love me a lot that's why.'' Aside from that, he knew she was still teasing.

Oli was grinning now as he turned back to face Esme. "We do. But when it comes to food, I'll get you all you want.'' That way she would always have enough food. He had to keep her happy, after all. Right then he shook his head at her. "You seem to be getting hungrier rather than filled. Come on, baby. Let's go find some chips and onion rings.'' Now that he had finished one of his hot dogs, that meant one of his hands was free to hold one of Esme's.

WhittyBitty 12-13-2017 05:59 AM

Giggle. Esme didn't think that Olly had a mean bone in his body. "You are way too much of a Hufflepuff though." And that was a GOOD thing; Esme loved it and was a total Hufflepuff herself. "Hmmm. I might." She very definitely DID because it was utterly impossible for her not to. Just look at the perfection that she got to call hers.

"That's true, and I share with you too. You get to eat all the onions too." Because she did not like them unless they were onion rings. But she shared other things with him besides that. "Blame that on my dad. I totally got that from him." It was funny but true. Esme squeezed his hand while eating her hotdog with the other. "Awesome. I am so happy right now. This is the most perfect day." She was so happy that he had brought her to the park; he knew that she loved coming here.

FearlessLeader19 12-13-2017 11:22 PM

There she went again, giggling at him. Olly tried to glare at her. "Are you laughing at me, Ms Darcy? Because I find nothing funny at all.'' But Esme was right about one thing- he was too much of a Hufflepuff to be mean to anyone. truthfully, he felt sometimes that was a bad thing since being nice all the time had its downfalls. "You definitely love me. A lot too.''

Onion rings were his all time favourite! Olly was already thinking of getting some so they could take back to the apartment. "I'd share my onion rings with you too. Well, I have to share everything with you since you bully me.'' It was rather because he wanted to. "Some genes your father gave you.'' Not that he would ever, ever mind dealing with Esme's quirks. "I'm glad you enjoyed it. We need to do this often. Next time we'll have a big picnic.''

WhittyBitty 12-17-2017 05:48 AM

Olly's glare did nothing to stop Esme from giggling; in fact it made her laugh even more. He was just way too cute when he tried to come off as annoyed. It was endearing. "Maybe I am. What are you going to do about it?" A sweet smile was sent his way because she knew that he really wasn't bothered at all. He was the definition of Hufflepuff and she loved it. "I love your confidence in that." She beamed. Of course it was obvious to anyone that she did love him a lot.

"Poor Olly getting bullied by a short girl. But I let you have most of them because I know you love them. I wouldn't hog your favourite." That would be plain rude and something that Esme would never do. "At least I didn't inherit his size and intimidation." Winking, she finished her hot dog. Now there was only one left... Pout. "We do, baby. Let's have an awesome picnic and we can do whatever you want to do." Because she wanted him to have a lot of fun too.

FearlessLeader19 12-21-2017 05:18 PM

Was that a challenge? Challenges had never been Olly's thing but with Esme... let's just say that she brought out the fun side of him. "Why don't we go home and you'll find out?'' Maybe after they picked up the stuff she wanted. Esme and her food...

"Short girls are ferocious. And you happen to be the most ferocious of them all.'' Olly pretended to look scared. Then he was laughing. "I wasn't that intimidated. Was I?'' Maddox Darcy certainly was a manly man and the young man had certainly been intimidated and in awe of him. "How about we finish our food, go shopping for even more food and then we can plan coming back here next week for the picnic?''

WhittyBitty 12-30-2017 06:03 AM

Eyebrow raise. Esme was more than intrigued now. "Okay then, I am more than up for that." Olly was being so much fun right now, but then she knew that it was very easy for her to bring the mischievous side of him out. They really did have the best of times together.

Esme was laughing now, and it was a good thing that she hadn't started on her other hotdog yet, because she probably would have started choking on it. "Maybe I AM intimidating like my dad after all." Though not really; she really wasn't all that much like her dad. Not like her sister at least. "Not overly, I don't think... but I know that he was messing with you and Leon. I gave him a talking to after that." Giggle. That had been a lot of fun. "That sounds perfect! I am almost done." She was being good and not being messy with her food. It was just so good.

FearlessLeader19 01-03-2018 04:17 PM

Cue that sweet, innocent smile that he could always pull off (just because he was a goth meant that he couldn't do it). "Careful what you wish for, baby. Come on then. Let's go.'' As talk went onto Esme's father, Olly relayed in his mind the day he had first met the man. It was no lie that he had been slightly scared of Maddox. But that was in the past. Now he and Maddox got along quite well.

"You're an intimidating little monster,'' Olly said fondly then laughed. "You did? I'm so sure he was forced to listen to you.'' Maybe this would explain why him and Maddox were like friends now. Whatever the reason, he was grateful. And while Esme finished up, he kept that fond gaze fixed on her.

WhittyBitty 01-07-2018 05:20 AM

"Oooh, you're playing Mr Innocent with me. We both know that you aren't innocent, baby." Hehe. Oliver could deny it as much as he wanted to, but he and Esme knew that it wasn't the case at all. It was super adorable when he tried to come across that way though. "But yes, let's go home. I want to know what is in store for me." Of course he wouldn't tell her because he enjoyed playing with her.

"I'm a scary, ferocious monster. ROAR." Esme growled and slowed off her non-existent claws, knowing that in all probability she was failing at being either scary OR ferocious. "Of course I did. I wanted you two to get along and I am so happy that you now do. He really likes you." She smiled at him after finishing her hot dog. It really did make her dad very happy to spend time with both Olly and Leon.

FearlessLeader19 01-09-2018 02:58 PM

Alright, he might not exactly be innocent but that was Esme's fault. Everyone else thought he was as innocent as a baby and they weren't totally wrong. He started to lead them towards their apartment while he laughed. His girlfriend was so funny. She reminded him of a lion cub. "I'll keep that in mind. You're ferocious.'' Ah, how he loved her! "Me too. He's a great person once you get to know him.'' And at least Olly was now completely over his fear of Maddox.

=============

Olly wanted to do something special for Esme and had decided to take one of the old fashioned routes... dinner. Only thing he wasn't taking her to a fancy restaurant. No, he was doing all the cooking by himself. All her favourite items were on the menu and he was busily adding the finishing touches. Meaning, he was setting the table. It was complete with the candles and all.

"Just a few more minutes, baby,'' Olly called. He had made sure that she stay away from the kitchen and dining room.

WhittyBitty 01-13-2018 05:34 AM

Olly wasn't letting Esme anywhere near the kitchen or dining room, and she was TOTALLY fine with that because it meant that he was making food for the both of them. Food was something that always managed to make her happy, and the boyfriend definitely knew it.

Lying on the couch in the living room, she flipped through a magazine and tried her best to be patient. It was hard when she was hungry, but she was doing it for Olly. Plus she was a Hufflepuff and patience kind of came with the territory. "Okay! Take as long as you need, baby. I wonder what it could beeee." Esme giggled. She knew exactly what was up even if she didn't know everything that he had prepared for her.

FearlessLeader19 01-16-2018 04:24 PM

Okay, the food was done, the setting of the table was completed. All Olly needed to get done now was himself. Meaning, he needed to change his clothes. He wasn't going for anything too fancy but when he emerged from the bathroom minutes later, he was wearing jeans and a new jersey- all black, of course.

After taking another look at the table (and feeling proud of himself), Olly made his way out to Esme. "Dinner's ready, m'lady,'' he said with a slight bow and an extended hand. "Shall I escort you?'' He straightened up and grinned.

What a fun night this was going to be!

WhittyBitty 01-19-2018 06:19 AM

As Esme was flipping the page in her magazine, she heard Oliver talking to her again. Looking up, she was that he had changed and was looking VERY good; but then when did he ever look anything less than amazing?

"Oh, what a gentleman," she said with a grin when he asked if he could escort her. "I would love that." Placing the magazine down on the table, she sat up and grabbed his hand, allowing him to help her up from the couch. "It smells absolutely amazing." And he had done all that for her. Wow, she felt so special.

FearlessLeader19 01-24-2018 06:20 PM

Olly held his smile as he helped Esme off the couch. Yes, he was such a gentleman especially when it involved her, the love of his life. "Thank you. I hope you'll like it all. I've made all of your favourites.'' And he had made lots of it too so that Esme could have as many helpings as she liked.

He led her to the table where he let go of her hand only to pull a chair for her. "Your seat, m'lady. The good thing is that you get to start with any dish and drink you choose. So which do you want?'' Olly was so going to be her waiter.

It was all about her tonight, after all.

WhittyBitty 01-26-2018 04:45 AM

WHOA.

Esme's eyes widened as she saw everything that Oliver had done for her. The table was covered in different foods, and as he said, they were all her favourites. Okay, she MIGHT have started tearing up a little. This was just way too wonderful. "I really don't know what I did to deserve you." Something that she would be wondering for the rest of her life. "Thank you so much." Words were failing her, but he knew how much this meant to her; she just wasn't always the best with this kind of thing, she was more one for actions.

Smiling, she took a seat in the chair that he had pulled out for her. "Oooooh! I want carbonated water and macaroni and cheese." Yummy. "You need to eat too, though," she added.

FearlessLeader19 01-28-2018 11:11 PM

Did he manage to surprise her?

Yes. Yes, he did.

Then those eyes were widening in surprise. He had not been expecting her to get so emotional. "Hey, what's wrong, baby?'' he asked in concern. What in the world had he done without realising it? Had he left uncooked onions lying around? He started to look frantically around but then... Oh. Olly understood now.

"We're meant to be, that's all.'' He looked fondly at her. "I love you very much and I'd do anything for you.'' There was a smile from him. "You're welcome. I had fun making all of these. Maybe I should be a chef as well.''

Olly grinned. "Whatever the lady wishes.'' He poured a tall glass of carbonated water then cut a generous helping of mac and cheese. "For you.'' Olly settled them in front of her. "I'll join you.'' And he did, serving himself the exact thing as Esme.

WhittyBitty 01-31-2018 06:49 AM

Oh. Esme had made Olly worried without meaning to. Before she could explain that nothing was wrong, he figured it out. But then he always was good at understanding her. Smiling more than ever, she wiped her eyes. "We are and I feel the exact same way, baby." Reaching out her hand, she took his and squeezed it. Then she giggled. "Master painter and master chef. I'd never get to see you, but the food would be amazing." She'd much rather see him though. Definitely. It was a good thing that Olly wasn't being serious about this.

"Thanks, baby." Now she had some food and drink. Esme didn't start eating hers until she saw that he had taken some as well. "Ooh, this is so good. I hope I have enough room for everything." Somehow she knew that she could manage it. Well, with his help.

FearlessLeader19 02-02-2018 02:56 PM

Olly let his hand be taken and squeezed while he momentarily looked transfixed at his girlfriend. She looked just as beautiful when she had puffy, red eyes. He was just glad he hadn't unknowingly done something to make her feel bad. Then again, he never did. Not that he was bragging. He handed Esme a napkin and returned the hand squeeze. "I would always make the time for you. You know that.'' Nothing could keep him away from her.

Olly had plated the same food for himself. "You're welcome. But knowing you, you will have room for anything plus room for seconds.'' Her huge appetite was something he loved to tease her about. And he always wondered how she never put on weight. Such a mystery that was. "Let's eat.''

WhittyBitty 02-05-2018 04:49 AM

With a smile Esme took the napkin from Olly and wiped her eyes. Yes, she could be rather emotional, but she usually hid it well. With Olly she didn't worry about it though; that's just how much she trusted him. "I know. And you know too because you wouldn't want me to get mad at you." She smiled wider. They both knew that wouldn't happen; it would take a lot for her to seriously get mad at him; she just loved her boyfriend way too much.

It was nice to see that he had taken a decent portion for himself because she didn't want to eat all of it. Nope, Esme was going to share her food with him. "I don't know what you are talking about," she said faking innocence. "Honestly it's so good though that I don't know if I can help myself!" And that was the truth. She was enjoying every mouthful so much.

FearlessLeader19 02-06-2018 11:45 PM

Olly raised both hands in surrender. "No way. I don't want a ferocious little monster attacking me because I don't give her enough time.'' That was never going to happen but he did love calling her his little monster. In anyway, aside from Naida and his father, Esme was the most important person in his life.

"Now you're being my innocent little monster,'' Olly said, laughing and at the same time spearing a piece of food with his fork. "I'm one hundred percent sure you'll want more mac and cheese after you've taken your first bite.'' With an amused and loving gaze, he watched her eat. And yes, he was sure of himself being that good of a cook. He had to be... for Esme's sake.

WhittyBitty 02-11-2018 04:43 AM

Hehe.

There was Olly calling her a little monster again. Esme loved it. After smirking, she pretended to bare fangs and menaced him with her fake claws. Yep, she could be a huge dork sometimes and she never had to worry about him making fun of her and judging her. He meant everything to her.

"I'm an innocent little angel," she said with a nod and as serious an expression as she could muster. "Oh, I love it when you are confident." And he was right at that; already she had eaten a bunch and she was just coming back for more and more.

FearlessLeader19 02-12-2018 11:42 PM

Olly chuckled. Esme was so cute when she went all monster- like. If it weren't for the fact that they had to finish their dinner, he would have gotten playful with her. Besides, he knew she was hungry. As was he himself. Monstering around would happen later.

"Sure you are,'' was his response. "I see no halo.'' Grinning, he speared some more mac and cheese onto his fork and held it to Esme's mouth. Yes, he knew she could feed herself but this just felt like the right thing to do. "Aren't I always confident?'' Olly asked. "Mostly when it involves you.''

WhittyBitty 02-17-2018 06:14 AM

Gaaaaasp. "Are you saying that I am not an innocent angel, Oliver?" Esme was VERY fake offended at that accusation. "I see no halo above your head either." Hehe. But he was her sweet and amazing boyfriend and she loved him so very very much. And she also loved that he was spoiling her tonight; even though she wasn't one of those girls who expected grand gestures and presents all the time, she sure appreciated them. They were the same in not really caring about material things and the like.

Oh. He was going to feed her. Esme giggled before taking the mouthful that he had offered. Yummy. "You are, baby," she said after swallowing. "And I find it very attractive." Wink.

FearlessLeader19 02-19-2018 11:13 PM

So dramatic and adorable she was. Oliver grinned and could barely keep his eyes off of her. "You heard me correctly, baby. You are the last person that will ever be an angel.'' Oliver waved a forkful of macaroni at her. "I believe you are looking in the wrong place. Can't you see it right...here?'' He indicated to just above his head. "It's very shiny and difficult to miss, you know.'' What a fun conversation they were having here!

"Flattering me?'' Olly asked in mock seriousness. "Is it because you want the next course of food?'' He let her eat off his fork before digging into the mac and cheese for another mouthful but this time for himself.
