"It rains a lot though. "She said with a roll of her eyes, she did love Florida though ! Kara always knew that Florida was her home and it will forever be even if she was living in a totally different country. She liked having her little "friends" in Florida, oh and by friends she meant geckos. When she was younger she kept those things as pets, hehe. She fed them and treated them well so it was all good.

Nodding her head again as Tins spoke, "I'm pretty sure you will have an adventure, London seems to be quite an interesting little city."And odd too. She liked it though because it was just SO different from Miami.

Tinsley didn't know that. It had never rained while she had been there. Hmm. Guess you learn something new every day.

She noded as well. "I'm already enjoying myself," she smiled. She'd met so many awesome people, the people she worked with, Dan, Oliver.... Oliver. Yes, he was her favorite, but she'd never let him know.

"So, do you work for the Ministry?"

Hirik had been browsing the streets when he spotted an odd muggle contraption. It appeared to be like a cell phone, yet it was in a box. a BOX. Why?? Did it do something bad? And who in merlin's name put a phone in a box anyways?

And why was there a public phone? Didn't people all have like, cell phones? Cell phones were cooler anyways. They were small and portable.

And definitly didn't need to be contained in a BOX.

Hmmmmm, it had to be.... day three of his new hairstyle. Wow, he really had to do something about it soon, before he got into trouble. A pink mohawk though.. how could he get rid of such awesomeness? A couple more days(/weeks) wouldn't do any harm. Wandering the streets, like he always did, Gerard came across a random box laying there on the side walk. WTH? He studied it for a moment, then noticed that some other guy was also giving it a confused glance.

Was he a muggle? He had no idea, so he would play along. "Dude, why are you looking at the boxed phoney-thing with such a confused expression?" He asked, pretending to be a muggle. HEHE. But, crap! He didn't even know the correct muggle term for the thing.

Hearing a voice ask him about the thingy on the ground, Hirik glanced up at the man who owned the voice, his eyes growing even wider if possible. Pink...hair? In mohawk form?

Oh merlinnn! That was stranger then the cell phone typed thingy in the box! Only, the hair was definitely cooler. Mhm. Most certainly.

Hirik highlyyyy doubted this guy was muggle, as he was sure they could do better then 'boxed Phoney-thing'. Therefore, he was going for it. "I take it you happen to know alot when it comes to magic?" He was gonna ask straight out, there was MUGGLESSSS!

Mmm'kay, Gerard would ignore those hair-stares. He got them all the time and it reeeeeeally didn't bother him much anymore. "What d'ya think?" He asked, shaking his head so his mohawk moved around.

Was it that obvious that he wasn't a muggle? "Errr.. Magic?" He said, stepping away from the guy slowly. Heh, might as well continue with the 'act muggle' thing. Just to scare the guy. "Sorry, I'm not quite sure what you are talking about.." He said, trying his hardest not to laugh in his face.

Hirik raised an eyebrow as the guy shook his head, his mohawk moving slightly. "Pretty wicked. But why pink?" Purple was much cooler. Or blue, blue was a nice color too. OOOOH! GREEN! A green mohawk would be the best. Hmm, perhaps he should get one? Nahh, mohawk's weren't his thing.

WHAT!? Oh merlin! Now Hirik has screwed up BIGGG time! The ministry was gonna come and get him, and lock him in a box, and then he was gonna be just like the boxed phoney-thing! NUUUUU! He didn't wanna! "Erm, well, you see...I, uh, meant you looked like one of those....mug-er, humans, who do like card tricks and stuff, like a, uh, magical...person."

Sigh. They were definitely gonna lock him up now!

"Why not pink? It's stereotypically a girls colour, but I think it looks awesome." Gerard grinned. Was he seriously the ONLY person who thought this kind of hairstyle was cool? People these days, sheesh.

HAHAHA.

IF Gerard was an actual muggle, this guy would have really messed up. He was still going to play dumb, but what was he actually going on about? "Card tricks? Why in Merlin's beard would I want to do stupid things like that?" Was a mohawk a trademark for muggle magical-men who did card tricks? Errrm, that was news to him. "I'm only joking, yeah? I'm a wizard." He chuckled and held out his hand for the guy to shake. "I'm Gerard, sorry for freaking you out."

"But really, you should be more careful. There are muggles lurking all over this place." He eyed people across the street. Eeep, anyone could be anyone! Sketchy.

Dan needed to make an important phone call. And that was why he was heading towards the pay phones. It was no one's business why he wanted to make a call, but he needed to talk to his stupid brother who had left the Ministry. Sighing, he walked slowly, dreading having to call Sam.

Kenedie finally saw him. She had been waiting for like two hours to find Dan. She felt really weird for kinda stalking him, but she was SO attracted to him. He was walking toward the payphones. Why?

Why did she even care?!

But mannnn, she just wanted to smell him. She remembered him smelling super duper good. Just one whiff, and she would be satisfied....

Dan was starting to get the feeling that someone might be following him. But that was just silly...

Though he couldn't blame anyone for doing it. He was amazing after all.

Stopping for a second, he reached into his pocket trying to find a quarter. He could have waited to call his brother or used some form of magical communication, but he wanted to get it done now, and he was in Muggle London.

Kenedie knew that this was her chance! She had to seize this opportunity or she might not get to smell him. He was stopped, digging in his pocket for some change, apparently. She walked casually by him, hoping to pass as a pedestrian in Muggle London, and smelled. SUCCESS! She beamed. "Holy moly, you smell good," she said loudly before she could help herself.

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...."

Success. He had a quarter. And that made him happy, because he would have been annoyed if he hadn't had the change.

Dan wanted to call Sam now.

Then he heard a familiar voice and looked up, seeing Ken as she walked by. "Who smells nice?" Hopefully it was him, because well... he was so much better than anyone else.

Breathe, breathe, breathe, she kept telling herself. Maybe he didn't realize what was going on. Surely he wouldn't be stuck up enough to figure that she had been following him around for about a week...

...or two.

"Uh!" she grunted. "I mean," she said, embarrassed, "You. You smell great. I just noticed as I was walking by on my way home totally not following you while you went to the payphones and were searching for a quarter. Nothing like that. Just...you know...making my way home."

Pleaaaaaaaaaase don't let him know where I live, she thought. Because if he did? He would realize that her house was the total opposite direction.

Ummm....

Staring at her weirdly, he blinked. What on earth was she talking about now? He had no idea. And he didn't really care other than it was rather odd. She was acting weird. "I never figured you were following me. Why would I?" That would have been rather creepy no matter how awesome he was.

"But don't you live in the other direction?"

Drastic times called for drastic measures. "How do you know where I live, McDean?" she said, trying to sound super intimidating. "Have you been following me or something?" Her tone was accusatory. She hoped it worked. The best way to win was turning the tables. BAHA.

He shook his head at her. She was acting really strange. "You told me, that's how I know. You live in the other direction." So he wasn't really sure why she was over here unless she suffered from memory loss or was really stupid.

Drat! She had forgotten she pointed stupidly in the other direction to tell him where she lived. Then she remembered something about herself. "I'm directionally challenged," she said, shrugging, "I get lost just walking in my apartment complex. I DO live the other way. I just...started walking the wrong way. I wasn't following you!" She really hadn't meant to shout the last sentence. It probably made her look even more guilty.

Oh, that made sense to him sorta. "So it's like how dyslexics are with messing things up?" He wasn't sure though. And as far as he knew, she wasn't dyslexic.

"Why do you keep saying you're not following me?"

Ken was kind of offended. "It's not like I have trouble reading. I can read street signs. I just don't remember the names," she said, sounding more defensive than was necessary for this situation.

"I don't keep saying that. Wh-what are you talking about?" Ugh, why did her nerves have to kick in now and make her sound like a liar...even though she WAS lying. Dang it. She had never been good at lying. That's why she never bothered sneaking out of her parents' house. She could never cover for herself later.

And THAT is why she was labeled a goody good. And probably also why Den would never like her. Sigh.

Tired of this, he decided to cut across. She was acting defensive, and that was something that told him that she had been following him.

"Why were you following me? You need to talk to me about something? If so, just tell me, and stop with games."

Well, the jig was up...apparently. Ken was still an awful liar, no better than when she was 16 years old. How sad.

"Okay, yeah. I was following you. But it was only because I remembered a couple of weeks ago that you smelled really good. And so for a couple of weeks, I have just wanted to smell you again." She realized she sounded totally insane. He was never ever going to want to talk to her again. Period.

... And he was officially creeped out.

She was stalking him to smell him. That was bizarre. Really bizarre. He might have been amazing and smelt great, but still. It made no sense that anyone would do that.

"Um, I really need to call my brother right now, so yeah.."

Crap. See? Ken had ruined everything. "Why would you wanna call your brother?" she asked him. He hated his brother. She was just trying to make small talk now.

Hirik shrugged, "It doesn't look bad, but imagine it in like...neon green!?" Green was totally cooler and definitely more of a guy's color as well. See! Win-Win!

Really? This muggle hadn't heard of the people who did card tricks, proclaiming it was 'magic'? Hm, what an odd muggle! "Why would you NOT want to do card tricks? They are pretty awesome." Well, not really, real magic was so much better. But then, the guy was offering his hand, and admitting he was in fact a wizard. Whew! Caught a break there. Smiling and accepting the hand, he gave it a firm shake, "Hirik. And no worries, I need reminders to be more careful sometimes. This was a perfect way."

Hirik again gave a small nod, "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind."
