And then she resumed talking. "Right. I understand. I never enjoyed shopping with my mum either. Dance lessons would be great! You could probably even get her an instructor to come out to the house. Use the ballroom. If you don't want her traveling to and from the city." Right now, Chloe was very thankful for her great memory. It was going to come in very handy as all she had with her to write with was parchment, ink, and quill, and that would stick out terribly in the muggle world. She raised her eyebrows and giggled as Asher started with his weird semi-Russian accent. It was always so adorable when he did that. It was probably because he was hungry and wanted Maudi to feed him. When he mentioned flying and Quidditch, Chloe quickly shushed him. Whispering, she said, "Asher, shh!" and then she mouthed the word "Muggles." And gave him a reproachful look that quickly fell into a fresh fit of giggles |

He'd pay the next time. "I'll... owl you," Cause Abilee probably didn't have a phone. Jesper did, cause he loved all the muggle inventions. |

I'm back from Thailand :D Quote:
She sighed with a small hint of relief as Ryan said this. Just kidding. Right. She smiled shyly at his question, "My favourite colour is light blue," She looked him in the eye, and smiled to herself. just like your eyes, "How about you? What's your favourite colour?" |

But the idea of a second marriage was scaring him since it meant taking all those risks all over again. And though the opposite was seen from the outside, Ryan was no risk taker. He always planned and predicted the consequences of his acts. Snapping out of those thoughts when the woman asked for his favourite colour, he coughed a little ''Sorry. I don't know where that came from. My favourite colour is navy. A little bit darker than yours'' he laughed and thanked the waiter as he brought their orders. ''So, Helena... why don't you tell me a little bit more about yourself. Just a little bit. Believe me i can figure out the rest'' |

Sorry for the delay. <33 Quote:
A fun day out for all the family. It was sometimes like being in charge of a party of school children having so many kids to watch out for.. but it was fun and the kids behaved themselves.. mostly. “We should have dinner out first. Make a whole evening of it.” He suggested. Egypt's next words caused him to snort so hard that wine came out of his nostrils. Matching outfits? Really? But... erh.. it appeared Egypt was deadly serious.. Ooops. He had the giggles now and it took a little while to get them under control. He wiped his oddly shaped nose on a spare napkin. "'s'cuse me.” He mumbled while grinning like a naughty school boy over the table at his wife. “We're not going to look like the Von Trapps, are we, love?” He wiggled his eyebrows and smirked as he teased his wife and started to laugh again. Oh.. dear. Oh.. perhaps Egypt didn't like the idea of sharing. Less chocolate for her. Hehe. “We can always order two.” He said.. because sometimes the portions they served were tiny in these fancy restaurants. So.. that was the end of discussion? Nathan cringed a bit. She didn't get it, did she? Urgh.. they used to be on the same wavelength, being able to read and understand each other so easily. One mere glance at Nathan and Egypt would know how he was feeling. See.. that was what was missing. That closeness and contentment and understanding. Nathan just had to learn to relax around Egypt again.. go with the flow. As much as he was pleased for Tommy and Excelsior, now seemed like a very odd time to tell him the news. He swallowed. “That's... that's fantastic.” He said trying to sound enthusiastic and not confused like he felt. This was terrible.. and it was all his fault because he wasn't all that great at expressing himself in words. He chewed at his bottom lip. “...I think we should take a holiday.” He said softly. “Get away from the stresses of work and every day life and spend some time alone as a family. I think it would help us all.” He met Egypt's eyes. “When I tell you I love you, I mean it... you know that, right? We were so good together before your mother...” He trailed off -Afia had almost succeeded in destroying it all. “Have you spoken to her?” He asked curiously. |
Her smiled matched his smile. "You better wear a rain coat. It gets pretty messy in there. Paris is still upset over the oatmeal in her hair," Egypt had to giggle about that. She had bathed them once and had to admit it was a war zone in their and Ben and Devon had the time of their lives in the tub. He was trying and Egypt loved him all the more for it. He was trying to mend his family back together and she would do all that she could to help. "Dinner would be nice we haven't been to New York in awhile. I think a stop at Dylan's Candy Bar would be nice as well." She would rather go to the candy store than to dinner, but she wanted her family to be together and if Nathan wanted the family to go to dinner she would go. "Some place fun for dinner since I am the only one that likes the posh places," she teased with a smile. Her perfectly arched eyebrow raised up as he laughed at her idea for matching outfits. She leaned back and watched as he laughed like a little boy looking remarkably like his sons. It was cute and Egypt had to smile but she tried to be serious. "No, you and the boys just have green cumber-buns. Paris and I have green cocktail dresses." Egypt told him simply. She thought it was right smart and everyone looked good. He saw the look that flicker across her face. She was busted. "I think two would work better," she said with a slow blush creeping across her face and an innocent smile on her lips. She sighed, this was awkward and it hurt. They were never like this. Their conversations used to just flow so naturally and from the first day they met it was pure magic. She wasn't going to let this happen. She wasn't going to lose her husband over something she didn't do. She was not going to let her mother win. She leaned forward and put her elbows on the table and her head in her hands and looked at her husband. Really looked at him. The way they used to just stare at each other and communicate without words. She held his gaze, her brown eyes boring into his. "Nathan," she finally said. "You are the same man you were a year ago." she told him. "Living without us changed what you did not who you are. You are still Nathan Greenwood, devoted father and totally loving husband. You haven't changed." She told him softly as she stroked the back of his hand. He was scared that he had grown used to living without his family and he wasn't the same person he was a year ago. Yes he had grown but under the unkept hair he was still her husband and her children's father. "We don't have to get away from the world to get back what we had, but me and the children will follow you to the ends of the earth Nathan." Truth be told Nathan didn't fair well in the heat and it was a constant source of entertainment to her and the children to see Nathan turn alls hades of red and blistering under the burning sun. "I will not let her win. She will not destroy my family." She wasn't about to let that happen. "I never doubted your love. Not once." And that was the truth. She fixed him with a look. "I am not speaking to that woman." Egypt wasn't even going to acknowledge that Afia was her mother. Mother's didn't do things like that to their daughters when they were perfectly happy with a man who loved them. |

Tell him about her. Helena decided right away that leaving Luc out of this would be a good idea. Besides, it was nearly two years since she'd been in contact with him. "Well ... I'm originally from Bordeaux, but I live in the country near the Pennines now. I have two children... Robert and Iris." As Helena said these, she realised that she didn't have much of a French accent anymore, which was very strange considering the age she moved to England. "Other than French and English, I can also speak Latin and some Italian and German. I really enjoy reading and Greek Mythology; it fascinates me, as do Muggles." Helena tapped her fingers on the table, not touching her meal yet, as she thought about what else to share with Ryan, "Oh ... and I'm severly allergic to Nifflers." She smiled a little to Ryan at this fact ... Nifflers were pretty much the lowest and most embarrassing thing in the wizarding world to be allergic to. |

Hopefully that cough did not annoy Helena. Plus what was with him and that coughing? He was not getting sick, was he? No, definitely not. Whatever. When the woman smiled at him Ryan did the same looking right straight into her eyes and totally ignoring the waiter as he poured their drinks and walked away. It was impossible even for a man like Ryan not to get surprised at what she had said over their favourite colours. If she knew what she had said meant, since she was blushing she knew, the man had to confess that she proved to be a little bit faster than he was which was...cool with him. Actually that was great. (:D) ''Actually they are the same colour with a different tone so, yes, there's no doubt on how compatible they are'' *smirk* Then he started with his steak while he listened to her giving more and more interesting information about herself. She had two children but there were no word of a man in her life despite that. So, as the man figured out, he was right at that day in the cafeteria. Hehe. He could not help but smile to himself when he remembered the fight Helena put against him at that day. She had been lovely just like she was now. ''Wow you speak many languages, that's a great skill indeed and unless you are kissing nifflers everyday, i don't think being allergic to them would be of any importance'' |
