"Fine", she said. That was a bit odd to do. Marie had grabbed her lunch she order and went out too.

He could practically hear her heart thumping. Looking flushed and nervous, James smirked. Oh, he thought he was god's gift to women. Just look at her, she was mesmerized by him. He sighed inwardly. Sometimes, looking good was just difficult.

He smirked darkly, "Well, we're going to change that. We don't want you to lose the skill, now would we?" He smiled, enjoying the music. She seemed more at ease now that she was dancing closer. He smirked. Women.

He rolled his eyes. She took everything the wrong way. The awkwardness was starting to annoy him. "Cora, I meant that instead of kissing me on the cheek.. there'd be somewhere else I could kiss you.." He grinned and dropped her into a low dip with a challenging smirk in place.

Her face a little pink she steps out of the restroom, noticing as she did so that Dan was there with Erik. Stepping back into the shadows she watches them, wondering what might be going on.

She wasn't sure if she wanted to go back yet... She knew that Erik would look at her with the same look he gave her just before she'd left for a few minutes. Sighing she must have sounded soooo stupid. He looked even more confused then she'd felt.

Her bag was still there, so she couldn't just leave. Not to mention she didn't want him thinking she was mad at him, because she wasn't.

Peering out at them again, she bursts into laughter. Dan was now eating her food and Erik looked absolutely furious.

He shrugged and kept eating as Erik told him that he should have just ordered food. It didn't really matter to him, seeing that she was gone anyway and he was hungry. He knew that she could always eat Erik's food.

And now Erik was ordering food for him. BWAHAHAHA!

"Well, chick or no chick... she's taking a while."

She bit her lip as he smirked. She didn't even know why he was smirking. Did she like do something wrong or maybe she had something on her face. EH. She loosed on of his hands and began wipeing her around her face to get whatever was on her face off.

She shook her head. "I personally wouldn't mind loosing my skill." especially because she couldn't ballroom dance and that was what they were doing. The waltz or whatever James said it was called.

Okay, she was starting to get bored. Not of the dancing or their date of blushing and looking down at her feet because her shoes just weren't the nicest shoes ever. "Oh. Sorry, my bad." Was that like a hint for her to kiss him ? Shrug, she better not just incase. Then she was near enough touching the floor. Now she was scared, what if he like dropped her. "Dont drop me." she said with a small smile.

James found all this highly amusing and he let out a soft laugh. "There's nothing on your face," He assured her and smirked. She was funny. Maybe she was doing this on purpose. He'd found a comedian!

He grinned darkly, "Would that be because you'd like me to help you regain your skills?" Or because she wasn't as keen as he'd thought on the dancing thing?

He groaned annoyed at her response. "Cora.." He wanted to tell her to snap out of it! Act like her usual bright self and not cause this tension and awkwardness. It was frankly starting to get annoying that he was always trying to save the conversation. He sighed slightly as he pulled her back up. "I won't." He frowned and let go of her hands.

"Y'know Cora.. this' been nice." heh. Sarcasm.

Cora bit her lip and giggled slightly. "Oh. Good." embarresment. She probably looked like a complete idiot. She sighed quietly, She really didn't know what to say.

She smiled as he grinned. "Maaybee." she said smirking. She didn't hate dancing but she just didn't like to get out of her comfort zone. Maybe she ought to start doing that.

She bit her lip as he groaned. Okay, he'd done all he could to try and save their date. And all she'd done was act awkward and blush. "Look. James, Im sorry for yeah you know..being all awkward and all that." maybe he was hinting for her to kiss him. She really wasn't sure but it was worth a shot no ? She stood on her tippytoes, because he was taller than she was. And kissed his lips for a few seconds before standing back at her normal level and waiting for his response.

James frowned at her response. Yeah.. good.. Well that was awkward! Moving swiftly on..

He much preferred her now that she was smirking. He grinned. "It would be my pleasure to reaquaint you with the dancefloor," He said in a posh english accent. How did that work for her?

James ran a frustrated hand through his hair. Yep. Sorry. Sure. Thanks Cora. That solved everything. "Right," He muttered, wondering if he should stay or if he should go. As if this could get any worse. .
He'd been on some pretty bad dates but that was more in terms of the incidents that had occured. One time he'd been punched in the nose by his date's ex-boyfriend. That hadn't been pleasant. She'd neglected to tell him her boyfriend was not only a jealous type but he was also a professional wrestler.

*shudder*

James was so absorbed in his own self-pitying&worship that he noticed a second too late that Cora had kissed him. He was so suprised that he gaped at her like fish for a second before recovering, smoothing his expression and body language over. He was the King of Smooth. That was awkward. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he smirked and kissed properly - like the lady ought to be kissed.

Like only James Lucas Parker could kiss.

A.k.a the best kiss possible.

Then he took her hand, leading her off the dance floor towards their table. "Let's go back to my place," He suggested.

Cora stood still, a blank expression on her face as he frowned. She wouldn't say anything or do anything especially not look down at her feet and then everything would just work itself out, so she hoped.

She smiled as he said he'd reaqauint her with the dancefloor. "That should fun then." she said winking at him, giggling at his very posh English accent.

So Cora had been on a lot of dates, mainly with people because she either felt sorry for them or they were popular. Yes, she liked to keep her reputation up when she was at Hogwarts. But she'd not been on a date in about 3 years and none of her dates were like this. For one thing none of her other dates involved going to a nice restuarant and dancing. So that was new and yeah she none of her dates were this awkward.

So, that reaction was unexpected. She'd expected him to actually react but it seemed as if he hadn't even noticed. On with the awkwardness and quietness. She try to refrain herself from laughing as he gaped at her, but it failed and she let out a small giggle. Then he wrapped his arms around her waist and... kissed her. Wow. He had really soft lips. He was like an amazing kisser. She looked up at him and smiled.

She followed him back to the table and nodded as he said they should go back to his place. She'd rather that than them go back to her dingy flat.

One question was zooming through Gerard's mind, was this a date?? =S

Even if it wasn't, he scrubbed up well, wearing one of his best shirts and black trousers. At least he wasn't wearing a suit. That would be a little over done. He had his pink mohawk scraped back, so he was mister flat-hair now. It looked so uncool. But he didn't want to attract attention in a muggle restaurant. Upper class muggles everywhere, meep. So, there he sat, tapping his fingers on the table as he waited for Kara to arrive.

She was going out to dinner with Gerard......was this a date ? Kara had no idea in all honesty, she liked Gerard certainly but...she was just confused as of now. And THIS didn't help too much. Kara looked nice of course, in her little gold dress and black heels, she looked flashy and well...cute.That was no surprise though, she almost ALWAYS looked cute. Not that she would admit it or anything. Hehh.

The rather tiny girl walked into the restaurant, looking around for pink hair. Her eyes landed on a rather awkward looking Gerard sitting by himself. She chuckled, he looked just as confused as she did."Heyyyy...."She said while approaching him at the table. There was a tiny nervous smile on her face.

La la la laaaaaaaaaaa. Gerard was day-dreaming. He did it often, especially when he was nervous and waiting for something. But whoa, finally, she was here. Er.

Is he supposed to stand up and greet her properly like a gentleman?

Nahhhh. Actually, yeah he would. He stood up quickly, almost knocking the entire table over, then pulled out her chair. "Please sit, madam." He said politely. Even though he had made a mess of this all. It was probably because he felt insecure with his hair like this. He liked the mohawk in place, ta. Once the chair was fully out from under the table, Gerard grinned then returned to his own. "Well, you look lovely today." He said brightly. Oh yah, he knew how to LOOK confident.

"Ohhh...uhh..okay."Kara said, as he pulled the chair out for her. He seemed so nervous and it was FUNNEH. It's not like it was a date or anything...right ? Yeah, it probably wasn't a date. She probably like wasn't his type. She pushed a strand of hair behind her ear, giggling lightly. BAD HABIT. "Oh, thanks."She said while crossing her legs underneath the table.

"I see you come to the mohawk over...?"



This was awkward.

Kara looked confused. But Gerard didn't blame her. He was acting like a right freak. He coughed loudly, then looked around like a lost puppy for a moment. MERLIN, where did his natural charm dissapear to?

"No problemo." He said, pausing for a moment. "What would you like to drink?" He asked, figuring that drinks were the first thing to order at this place. Perhaps he should out right ask whether this was a date or not? "As long as it isn't too expensive. It's not like this is a date, is it?" He laughed nervously, then stopped. That sounded like a bad thing to say, but he'd just have to wait and see what she said...

Aaaaaaand she mentioned the mohawk. Of course she would eventually.

He chuckled. "Well, I didn't know wether this was an upper class muggle restaurant. And I didn't wanna just waltz in here with a pink mohawk, did I?" He explained, stroking his flat hair for a moment. "Don't tell me, I look UN-cool?" Noooo, don't say it! He was already feeling as insecure as a teenage girl.

"I will just have a water."Kara said, smile still on her face. She was trying to stop this awkwardness as much as she could, of course...it wasn't working that much.

.....yep, defiantly not working. "Er...I was just about to ask you the same..."Kara said, looking at the Pink haired man before her. She didn't know really, it didn't have to be a date. It could have just been a friendly meeting or something. "Do you WANT it to be a date ?"Cause if it was, that was fine. She just wanted this awkwardness to stop. She also wanted Gerard to stop acting so weird. Wasn't he supposed to be Mr.Cool ?

"Oh no."She protested , looking at him with a smile. "You look fine, I was just asking cause you always seem rather proud of your mohawk."You know, by flaunting it off and stuff. "I understand though."

Ehhhh....if this was a date it wasn't going so good.

Ack. He didn't MEAN it. Really, Gerard didn't mind if Kara wanted something a little pricey. "Are you sure? Don't want a butterbe-" Oh, this was a muggle restaurant. He picked up the menu. "A..... wine, or something?" He squinted his eyes to read it. Wine. Hmmm, peculiar.

Oww, she didn't know either. Well, then they were stuck. "I don't mind if it's a date." They were in a fancy restaurant, wearing fancy clothes. It seemed a little too FANCY for just a casual meeting as friends. But she may disagree... Actually, what the hey. "Okay. Sure, let's just say it is a date." He grinned. Now that they had that established, hopefully the awkwardness would shift along.

"I'm very proud of my mohawk." He said with a sigh. He just didn't want to gain too much attention from the public. Muggles freaked him out a little. But, a brain wave. "Eh, you know, I don't care anymore." And with that, he ruffled up his hair until it was standing up, like usual. "It isn't perfect, but that'll do." He shrugged. At least it already had hair gel in it to keep it down.

SIGH. "So.. how do I look?" He said, with a wink in Kara's direction. Heheheh, he looked COOL.

Dressed in an almost regal, green and blue gown, Madrigal walked into the restaurant with all the poise and posture of royalty. Her hair was pulled up into a cascade of perfect curls and her strapless dress allowed her tattoo to show prominently, something she normally kept covered at work. The music displayed in the tattoo was a simple melody that had been left with her by her biological parents and she'd gotten it when she'd first been told that she was a witch and had left home for the first time.

While the restaurant was on the upscale side, Madrigal's apparel was still of a higher caliber that was normally seen here. The was seated by the hostess, who glanced at her sadly as she set a menu in front of her and left to get the waitress. Madrigal didn't touch the menu, however. She simple waited with her hands in her lap until the waitress walked over, bringing water and dinner rolls.

The waitress was a young, thin thing with curly, red hair and a pleasant expression. As she approached the table, she smiled at Madrigal and greeted her warmly.

"Good evening, Miss Melokia," the waitress--Elena, according to her name tag--said cheerfully.

"Good evening," Madrigal greeted in kind, inclining her head the tiniest bit.

"Will it be Poi and Kimchi for you and Foie Gras for your date?" Elena asked brightly, though she almost choked on the word 'date'. How many times had Madrigal come to the restaurant, waiting for a date that never showed up? Once a month, every 13th for more than a year now, if she remembered correctly.

Madrigal nodded, taking note of the waitress's tone, but not commenting on it, and the waitress hurried away. When she returned, she brought a bottle of wine with her and presented it to Madrigal. "Rhubarb?" she asked. Madrigal nodded again and the waitress poured two glasses of wine before leaving her to sit by herself in her gown.

Madrigal sipped silently at her wine for the forty minutes it took to prepare their meals. When the foot arrived, she dropped a cloth onto her lap and began to eat her dinner while the foie gras cooled on the plate across from her.

He'd done it. Hirik Clearwater had finally gotten the nerve to ask a girl on a date. And yes, it wasn't Kara, which was sad. BUT he'd still done it. And Suki was perfectly nice. And for once, Hirik was actually feeling confident. He'd met with Nekoda earlier, and she'd helped him feel a bit better about the date. More confident. More flirty.

More talkative. Perhaps this date would actually go well? He could only hope so.

Suki wore a beautiful silver dress with silver shoes to match the dress perfectly. Her long dark brown hair was curled beautifully. Thanks to some spells she knew to keep it that was. Suki made her way to Hirik. She smiled. "Hello." Suki said walking up to him.

Hirik stood from his seat as Suki entered, trying to keep his mouth from dropping open in shock. Oh, er, uh. Hi Suki. You look lovely." Smiling in what he hoped was a charming manner, Hirik walked around the table, pulling out the chair for her, "How are you?"

Suki smiled widely trying not to laughed at his facial expression. "Hi. Thanks." Suki smiled. She sat down as he pulled the chair out for her. "I'm great." she smiled. "How have you been?" Suki asked sweetly. He was cute. He seemed very nice but Suki had be calm and cool since this was her firt date in a year and she had messed up the last one.

Hirik nodded, smiling to match her's before tucking her chair in and sitting across from her, "Your welcome." Tehe, it felt odd asking how she was. Considering he'd only met the girl that day. "Wonderful to hear." Mmkay, Nekoda said be smooth? And flirty? "I'm doing spectacular, now that I'm in the presence of such a lovely face." Meh, too much? Maybe. But he'd roll with it.

Goodness. Why was he always so nervous?

Suki smiled. Man she was so nervous but it was only a guy. Why was she so nervous she wasn't when she had first met him he clearly was when they first met. "Aww I'm very glad to hear that." Suki smiled.

Hirik chuckled, smiling back before picking up the menus and passing her one, as he scanned his own. "Hmm, have you been here before? I came once, and their burgers are superrrrr yummy." Well, they were when random strange men didn't steal them. T'was sad indeed. Glancing over the menu, Hirik smiled again, "So how was the rest of your afternoon?"

Suki smiled. he took the menu from Hirik. "No, I haven't been here before." she told him. This place seemed very nice. She wondered why she hadn't been here before. Well you sure can't miss this place. "Maybe I'll have to try that." she thought. "It was good."
