Damien watched her fiddling with her napkin as he drained the last of the wine from his glass. She was too cute. Nodding his head he then said, "I won't forget and you can surely hold me to that. I hardly think that there is any way that I could find you uninteresting, Hunter. You're a spitfire. I like that." Rising from his seat he pulled out his wallet and took out enough Muggle money to pay for the meal and leave a nice tip and then extended his hand, palm up, to take Hunter's. Smiling he said, "I really had an amazing time with you Hunter. I look forward to meeting again soon."

Hunter took his hand as she rose from the table and let herself be led around it toward the door. Polite, in spite of his sort of bohemian spirit, which was a plus in his favor. Both parts were.

"I prefer spitfire to maneater for sure. Don't listen to a single thing Van says about me. We're none of us 17 anymore." And she liked to think she'd gotten better with age.

Leading her to the door he then dropped her hand and stepped a few paces in front of her to open and hold the door for her.

Chuckling he shook his head. "Honey, I don't believe things until I see them for myself. If Van speaks ill of you, that is his opinion and not mine. I will form my own opinions," he said by way of a promise. Taking her hand once more he raised it to his lips and kissed it gently.

Winking at her he dropped her hand and smiled rogueishly. "You can be sure you will hear from me very soon," again a promise.

Hunter gave his cheek a little pat as she leaned in to kiss the other cheek. Rule #1: always leave him wanting more.

"I'll look forward to your owl, Damien." She ducked under his arm out the door.

Damien smiled as she kissed his cheek and ducked under his arm. Chuckling slightly he called after her. "Soon." Like as soon as it was appropriate and not desperate. Not that he was desperate, it was just that she was weird enough to she GOT him. It made her interesting. He was curious about her. Perhaps he would dig around and she what he could turn up on her. Shaking his head once he stepped away from the door letting it swing shut and stepped out into the street making his way back toward Diagon.

"Pleasure to be of service, ma'am," Gavin responded in kind following her old lady bit as she took his hand and slipped her arm into his. Hearing her reference, he raised a bemused eyebrow but couldn't help but to chuckle at the image presented within. "Guess that makes me the Scarecrow eh...Dorothy..." he mused as she paused to gather her things.

"We're off to see the wizard!" he added with a wink as a skip step before he lead them from the table and out of the restaurant onto the street beyond.

"No, no it's alright." Brooke smiled. She didn't want Camila to worry over anything now that she too was busy in her own problems.

"That's nice. We've been looking for new recruits actually," she told Camila. "More hands equals faster work." she continued. Which is quite true in what they're dealing with right now.

"Oh no. We're alright. It's just that I'm busy and all.." she blushed. "Don't worry I'll promise you that I'll hang out with him more often." she winked. Oh, she most definitely will.

The food came and Brooke devoured it. Well not really devoured it. "Mmm..this is good." she smiled as she shoved more food into her mouth.

"I bet you are," Camila said when Brooke told her that they've been looking for new recruits, the poor workers.

"Oh, I'm glad to hear that!" Camila smiled, she'd be really worried about Brooke if something had happened between her and Nick, but thankfully there wasn't anything to worry about. "You should actually, nowadays guys just slip if you forget about them .." Camila trailed off nodding her head at Brooke. Who was she to give advice like this? But still it was true, and she didn't want Brooke to suffer that way at all ..

Camila nodded in agreement, the food was certainly good. She took a sip of her coke before continuing to eat steadily.

Brooke nodded in agreement. "Have you been reading magazines?" Brooke teased as she sipped her drink.

"How about you then? How is your..erm.. let's say.. life." she asked while raising an eye brow. Enough about her, let's see what Camila has to say.

"Magazines .." Camila chuckled, it seemed so though. She's been getting paranoid about pretty much everything lately.

"Hmm, nothing much actually." She told Brooke, looking back at the last month or so .. nothing much had happened except .. "Oh, I got a Pygmy Puff lately." She told Brooke looking sheepish. Well maybe it wasn't exactly foolishness but it was a Pygmy Puff after all .. "Y'know how I told you I didn't really like animals? Well, I dunno I just thought I'd give pets a try and yeah .. I got Lima." She finished lamely. But she absolutely adored Lima, who was cute, snuggly and ... sweet!

Walking out from the small dark alley that Jen ad apparated herself and Ryoma to in Muggle London Jen couldn't help but feel even more butterflies in her stomach. She hoped that eating would help those butterflies go away. She loved her food.

"It's right there." She said pointing towards the restaurent a few yards away. "They're the only place around here I could find that has some Indonesian food." She told Ryoma with a wide smile.

Brooke smiled at her friend.

"Hey, would you look at that," she smiled.

"That's quite a big start for you I bet." she continued. She found pygmy puff's quite small for her taste but cute at the same time. Judging by the fact that she had named it Lima, Brooke thought it was either green or from a place called Lima. Was there a place called Lima? Oh yeah, somewhere in Peru.

"What made you name it Lima?" she curiously asked.

Camila laughed when Brooke asked her why she had called her Pygmy Puff Lima. The memory of that day was just so funny, she couldn't help it. "Well, I was out with a friend when I bought it and that day I really wanted to eat some Beans so my friend was making fun of me and she kept calling it Lima as in Lima Beans .." She told Brooke chuckling. It was funny how then the name got stuck to the Pygmy Puff and she actually liked it.

They had finished their plates by now and the waiter approached them, probably he wanted to ask if they wanted any refills or something. "Are you full? Or do you want anything else?" She asked Brooke as she glanced at her wrist watch, it was time to return to the office. Why couldn't she just stay here chilling with Brooke all day?

Date. Date. Date. Date. That word had been thundering through his head all day. And he was giddy, to say the least. Mason stood outside the door of the restaurant, bouquet of flowers in his hands and waited for Meredith.

He bounced lightly back and forth between his toes and heels. He was nervous. He hadn't been on a date in far too long and he felt like a teenage boy again. The crazy fool who had just asked the prettiest girl in the school on a date.

Oh, Merlin. What if she stood him up?! What if he would just be standing there for hours on end waiting for the girl that would never come. *sob* Oh, be positive, Mason. You're not that much of a dork. Right..?

Meredith walked toward the restaurant that Mason had informed her of during lunch today. She was like extremely nervous and afraid she might trip in her 4 inch heels. Well her hair was now brown. It wasn't permanent just charmed. It looked better with the outfit. Oh wow the outfit she was going to wear had taken her like and hour to pick out.

She crossed her fingers that he would already be here and she wouldn't have to wait all alone. Brr...it was a little chilly, but luckily she hadn't had to walk that far. The woman got to the front of the restaurant and... oh surprise! Hah her date was waiting right outside of it...holding flowers. Aww how sweet. Giggle. "Hi," was all that could come out.

Mason saw a woman approach him. His first instinct was to wonder who she was, but then he realized... Meredith! Her hair was brown! And she looked... "Gorgeous..." Oh. Did that really slip out? Close your mouth, Mason, that's not cute. "Uhh, I uh..." He stuttered. "You look fantastic. And your hair, it looks great!" He said, grinning. He tried not to stare, but she looked really good. And those high heels looked like hell to walk in.

He grinned like a goof. "Oh! These are for you. M'lady." He said, presenting the flowers to her. "What do you say we go inside?" He offered, pulling the door open for her.

She blushed a little as she heard him say 'gorgeous', but it was dark so thankfully he wouldn't notice. He looked sooooo handsome himself. Heh she was acting sort of idiotic being so speechless at the second. A grin met her face as he complimented her. "Thank you. You look pretty amazing yourself," she said smiling sweetly. Tonight was sure going to be something she'd say.

Meredith took the bouquet of flowers from him. Mmm...they smelled great! "They're beautiful my fair sir," the lady said in the teasing sort of way. She hadn't had flowers in a while. "Sounds like a brilliant idea," she decided. Or else she would freeze. She walked on inside and looked around the restaurant. Ooooh how nice.

Ooh, was that a blush?! Or just a shadow because it was dark? Mason grinned. He decided she was blushing. She thought he looked amazing? "Well, you are just too kind." He winked at her. He could tell he was going to love tonight.

Mason smirked at the old form of speech they were using. He walked in behind her and took her arm in his from behind. "We have a table reserved over there." He told her, pointing to the a table near the back, but not completely secluded. It was dimly lit with a few candles. The table was a dark mahogany with a dark red tablecloth lain over it. Each place was set with a glass of Muggle red wine. When they reached the table, Mason pulled out a chair for Meredith and smiled.

Perhaps she was too kind, but she was only telling the truth here. She smiled as he winked at her. It felt good to be back in the dating business. How long exactly was it since her last boyfriend? 6 months? All she knew was it was back in the beginning of the year. Ugh. She really didn't want to think about her last relationship...

Oh. She looked to his him take hold of her arm. She gave him another smile. Okay so there was going to be a lot of smiling going on tonight. Mere was in a happy mood so she had a reason to be all smiley. Her eyes looked toward the table. "How romantic," she remarked with a slight smirk. Hehe cue the giggle once more. "Thanks," she said, taking a seat in the chair he had pulled out for her. She unfolded the napkin and placed it in her lap. That was only proper right? The brunette waited for him to take a seat.

Mason smirked at her remark. Romantic? Two points! Mason couldn't help but smile the whole time, and he had a feeling he would be doing that a lot that night. Once Meredith took her seat, he sat across from her, copied her motion and put his napkin on his lap. Hmmm. Something was missing... Ah, there it is.

Mason stood up in front of the table and cleared his throat loudly for everyone to hear. He scanned the room and surveyed all the Muggles eating dinner. "May I have your attention please?" He asked with a raised voice. He took his knife and tapped it against his wine glass. Almost everyone was looking straight at him now. "Yes, thank you. I would like to make a toast, everyone!" He took hold of his wine glass. "A toast for a beautiful evening with a beautiful girl. I thank this lovely restaurant that I forgot the name of for providing such wonderful services so I could bring this fantastic and lovely woman on a date tonight. And a wonderful evening to you all!" When he finished his speech, he raised his glass and with a nod, took a sip.

He sat back down and let a grin spread across his face. "How was that?" He winked at Meredith and lifted his glass so she could tap it with hers.

Brooke had to laugh at the story. "As in Lima Beans." she said still giggling. She had to say her friend makes good names. "My crup's name is Oliver and it's not even half as funny as your pygmy's" she shrugged her shoulders. Why had she named id Oliver in the first place. She couldn't have named it Sparky or...Steak.

Brooke dabbed her lips on a napkin. "Nope, I'm good." she said as she asked the waiter for the bill. "It's on me." she smiled at Camila. When the bill came back Brooke placed her credit card as the waiter swiped it and then signed the sheet of paper before looking at her watch. "Merlin, look at the time!" she said.

Camila couldn't help but chuckle at Brooke's giggles, it was a funny name after all. "Oliver's a cute name!" She nodded, "We should introduce them together sometime." She added chuckling.

Camila was about to refuse Brooke's paying the bill, but she had done already. Blushing slightly she thanked her. "I know, shame how time passes when you're having fun." She said. She had to go back to work, but she didn't feel like it at all. She looked around to see people sitting at tables and chatting together. "I think I'd better go," She sighed, getting up from her seat. "I'll see you soon then." She smiled warmily at Brooke, waiting to see if she was leaving or not.

"Yes well we'll have to be careful. Size does matter." she said referring to the small pygmy puff and her average sized crup.

Brooke sighed and she too stood up. "Same here. I've go a lot of papers to work on." she said. "I hope to see you very soon." she smiled as she hugged Camila. She waved her goodbye as she stepped out into the chilly air and back to the ministry.

OOC: We should rp again sometime. Hopefully we won't be as busy as we both are now..

Camila hugged her back, and then turned towards the doorway. She wasn't that eager to go back to work as her back ached and she longed for a long nap on her bed. However, she made her way outside the resturant headed back towards the ministry. She tightened her cloak around her as the first breeze hit her face, it was chilly alright.

The young woman sat there quietly and glanced around the restaurant once more as Mason got himself situated. Then her eyes were back on him as he cleared his throat as tried to get everybody's attention. Oh gosh. She listened as he spoke and felt herself beginning to blush very much again. Some of the older muggles here looked like they were loving this. The younger, more official type, seemed rather annoyed by this fact they're dinner was being interrupted by him. And of course there were that few who were chuckling.

"It was lovely," she answered, tapping her glass with his and took a sip since he had already toasted. Mhmm... it was good. She picked up the menu and started to look it over. "Any thoughts on what you're going to get?" she asked. She never really could eat a whole meal by herself. Maybe they could split something?
