Egypt wanted to slap herself for throwing herself at him like a desperate house elf or something. She was behaving like she had never seen a good looking man before.

She looked at him, he seemed embarrassed about his ring, and she couldn't understand why, but she refused to make an even bigger fool of herself and ask about it. Besides that was tacky. She didn't know if she should return his smile, but she did because she couldn't help herself. "Um now this is my first trip away from home. Mom keeps a tight leash on all of us." She said bitterly.

She looked him full in the face, "It was to preserve the purity of magic." She recited to him like her mother used to do to all of them for years, it was almost like second nature to her. "That is why I had to get out of there. Sure you can preserve your way of life, but you don't have to wall yourself away from the rest of the world to do it." She told him.

"It does take sometime to get used to different things, but I want to." She said to him.

Cassandra walked through the park and sat down on one of the benches. I was a long day today, busy, like she liked it, but long. She sat back, letting the breeze hit her face, boy did it feel good.

Liam walked into the park today had been a very long and tirring day for him. He couldn't believe how it had gone.

Cassie opened an eye as she heard someone walking by. She sat up and noticed he looked liked he had a long day as well, though she wasn't sure if he was a muggle or wizard, the park tends to draw both. "Had a long day at work too?" She asked him.

"yep" replied Liam he wasn't sure if she was a witch or not so he didn't say to much "I have just been given a warning by my boss" he moved his wand just so that she could see it, but also incase she wasn't he could pretend it was a stick.

"Oh, what kind of warning?" Cassandra asked and offered for him to sit down on the bench beside her. She tried to think of a way to make sure he was a wizard, she didn't want to give anything away to a muggle, wouldn't look to good if an auror did that.

"I started having a go at him told him I was great at a game called quidd" he started but stopped "I just had an arguement with him" he hoped she hadn't heard what he has said.

Cassandra listened and then heard Quidd, was he going to say Quidditch? She started racking her brains for a muggle sport that began with Quidd, but couldn't think of any, so than that must mean... "Let me guess, you work in the department of magical games and sports?" She asked him, now pretty sure he was a wizard.

"Yep" replied Liam "so that must mean you work in the ministry" replied Liam "where about"

Cassandra nodded. "I work in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, I'm an Auror." She told him. "What do you do?"

"I work in Magical Games & Sports i'm in the Patents Division" replied Liam "Though I used to play quiddich for England" he replied.

"Wow, you played professionally?" She asked, Cassie was into Quidditch, but she had never been able to see a game live and she never saw a professional. "I used to play for the Gryffindor team in Hogwarts, I was a seeker, though I missed a few games due to detention." She laughed.

"yep I played for puddlemere united" replied Liam "we won the league 6 times, though I wish I had won the quiddich world cup"

"Oh, my father loves Puddlemere United, big fan." She told him, though she left out that she wasn't a big fan of the team. "What position did you play?"

"beater" replied Liam "I wonder if he would have known me ask him if he has and wants an autograph i'll give him one"

Cassnadra nodded and then realized something. "Er, I'm sorry, but I don't know your name." She told him. "Mine's Cassandra Carter, but you can call me Cassie."

"hello mine is Liam Moiser" replied Liam "though just call me Liam i could have played quiddich for Ireland or England in the end i chose England"

"Okay, I'll find out if my father knows you or not now that I know who you are." Cassandra laughed. "That's awesome, I got offered to play for Holyhead Harpies, I decided not to take it, rather become and auror instead."

"I would be playing quiddich still now only i got hit in the head by a rogue bludger" replied Liam quitely "want to come back to my house and watch a video of me playing quiddich" he looked at her "Well st least come and have a drink with me your chose

"Watching a video of you play sounds nice." She said to him. "I do love Quidditch and well, I never really saw the Puddlemere United play." She admitted. Her father was always going on about the team and she sort of stayed away from it, she heard too much about them from him.

"well come on then" replied Liam he got up.

Cassandra got up from the bench and smoothed out her robes before following Liam to his house.

Floyd walked slowly through the park, head down but eyes vigilent. He didn't see anything suspicious. Perhaps he would come back later to sleep.

Egypt seemed a little embarrassed and it had all been caused by Nathan’s stupidity and stubbornness. The stubbornness was one of the few traits he had inherited from his father’s side of the family – he wasn’t too sure where the stupidity came from. He glanced at the band on his finger briefly before shoving both his hands back in his pockets again. With any luck she would forget it even existed.

He was pleased when she returned his weak smile with a more genuine one. She didn’t ask about the ring and for this he was thankful.

“Seems a long way to come to escape your mother.” He said with a nod. “I did something similar a few years ago for much the same reasons. …Sometimes you just have to get out there on your own to… to find yourself.” Blah, blah, bloody blah. Nathan and his annoying philosophies. If Angelina from the Minister’s Office were here she would no doubt have rolled her eyes and said something cutting to the young man. He looked in the direction of Egypt’s sisters, “How many of you are there?” Her words had implied there were more than just the three of them.

He was not surprised by her next words. It didn’t take much of a brain to work that out. His father and Egypt’s mother would probably get on like a house on fire. “So all muggleborns and half bloods were kept out of the city?” he asked rhetorically. “What happened to them?” He was being careful with his choice of words here, not wanting to offend this woman he had just met with his own liberal opinions. He had subconsciously slowed his pace as they neared the familiar telephone box visitor’s entrance to the ministry.
