Finally it opened and she stepped in and went to the buttons first to press the Level 8 button for the Employee Department and maybe the Cafe first to get a snack and a cup of tea. She noticed though that it was already pressed, she back up shrugging and then turned to see Lance leaning against the wall in mid yawn.

"Oh Hey Lance." Evaline said with a small smile and leaned against the wall next to him. "Didn't see you in here," she added. The last time Evaline and LAnce talked was at the Wedding which seemed like ages ago now.

Almost falling on his behind which would have been a rather embarrassing moment, he was fast enough to get his balance back before noticing who was there in front of him. It was none other than the famous Evaline Bass A.k.a Ev but he would never called her like that since he knew she didn't like it. Smiling at her, he was sure she would have say something about the almost fall but deciding not to give her any opportunity."Well hello..."

Stretching his arms in a rather lazy way, he couldn't help but noticed that she seems to be in a rather busy mood. "Are you going to a particular place ?"He didn't want to be disruptive if she was on her way somewhere, unless she asked him to.

Evaline tilted her head as she thought she caught a glance of him trying to steady himself from what looked like a fall. She didn't know she had caught him off guard. She thought it had been the other way around. But before she could say anything he started to speak and she knew it was she couldn't make fun of him. And she was kind of diappointed cause she needed a laugh.

"Hello again," she greeted back with a grin again. She was actaully going somewhere but she figured she could go to the Cafe first and hang with Lance. She needed him to lift her spirits. "Well I was going to the Cafe for some tea and a snack." she answered his question and then asked, "Do you want to join?" That was what you said to people when you really hoped they'd stay right? Plus they were getting close to the level to get off and she needed to ask quickly for him to actually say yes.

Lance could swore he saw something in her eyes that was like disappointment or something like that but it was probably just in his mind and he doubt it was actually the reality. Brushing his coat in order to get back to his normal self which he wasn't lately but it wasn't something he was leaned on sharing even with friend, perhaps a bit later.

Nodding as she asked him to join her, he was fine with that. He was on his with to the cafe himself which meant that no detour since they would have met anyway. "I would gladly take the offer but I'm insisting of paying. It's my threat today and no arguing Miss." Looking at her with a devilish smile, he was expecting something in return.

As the bell of the lift made itself heard as they reached their level, he was holding the door open so she could step out.

Evaline smile grew a bit bigger as he shook his head in a yes fashion. She knew she could always count on Lance. She did however see though that something was on his mind just like hers. She figured she'd ask later on or he would bring it up in his own time.

She heard his offer which he never had done before and she wrinkled her nose at him, cutely of course. "Oh I see. That's fine." she replied stepping off the lift not going to argue like he requested and then added, "But what will I have to do for you in return." There was always a catch. Well usually, maybe not with Lance, but then again maybe.

Realizing she forgot to thank him for holding the door open she quicklly said, "Oh and thanks for holding the door. Your being such a gentlemen today." He really was and she liked this side of him. It was different and sweet.

Constantine stepped onto the lifts and immediately moved into a corner. It was all apart of his "not standing out thing". As if it was actually working, well...he would find out soon enough. He stared into space as he kept his ears tuned for the words "Magical Transportation." Come on...come on...move faster! NO. Slower! SLOWER! The longer to delay having to speak to her, the more time he would have to formulate how he would talk to her.

Jacob slipped into a half full lift just before the grill closed. That was a close one. He took a slow sip of the burning Earl Grey, the only calm aspect of his day so far. An interdepartmental memo fluttured just above his head, and Jacob swatted it away. As if to punish him for the whack, two more came to fill in its space.

Jacob closed his eyes and shrunk down to avoid the flying paper, listening closely for Level Five, Department of International Magical Cooperation. He couldn't wait to get off the lift.

Donia hurried into the lift just before it closed, grabbing the hem of her dove grey robe quickly before it stuck in the door. She brushed her white-blonde hair out of her eyes and straigtened up, trying to preserve any dignity she had left. She stood next to a man who was holding a steaming mug of tea. She inhaled and was immediately reminded of home.
"Earl Grey?" she asked, gesturing to his cup. She smiled, "I'm Donia, International Cooperation. Who are you?"
Subtelty had never been her strong suit.

Theodore stepped into the lift and pressed the Level 7 button quickly, followed by the close the door, button. That way noone would follow in the lift after him.

He folded his hands against his back and rocked on his heels. He wasn't prepared to be fighting with anyone.

Lorraine caught the smile that Alina gave her, but simply nodded back in acknowledgment. She rarely smiled, but knew the reason for why Alina smiled at her. Theo was acting foolish around the two women which he may or may not have cared for; both of whom just wanted to talk to him and he was avoiding the situation like a plague.

Sighing, she wondered what exactly she would say to Theo when they arrived in his office. She leaned against the back of the lift, as it rose to Level 7...

Alina took a deep breath as the lift announced that they had reached the Department of Magical Sports and Games. Just along that corridor was Theo's office, and behind a probably closed door was a Theo that wasn't best pleased.

On the positive side, they knew where Theo was, and he couldn't avoid them forever. Not if he wanted food. Or to hold his meeting. And with the two women on the case, he'd have to give in eventually. Surely? Who knew. Alina certainly didn't. He'd never been like this with her before. Not even at the most stressful of times.

"I guess this is it then," she said to Lorraine, a mixture of focus and grimace on her face. "Though I fear it won't be easy..."

James left the Employment Office and reached the Lifts. Looking at a parchment the Office had given him, his new job was on Level Three, Department of Magical Accidents and Cotastrophes.

Pressing the Level 3 button, the doors closed. He was the only one on this lift except for a few air plane memos flying above his head. The lift shook, moving backwards, then shooting up, higher and higher.

Lillian tapped her foot impatiently as she waited for one of the lifts to arrive. She was worried about being late on her first day. Consulting her pocket watch, she smiled as the lift doors sprang open, and she stepped in, ducking several memos as they whooshed in after her. Lillian delicately pressed the button for 'Level 9, Department of Mysteries'.

The lift doors clanged shut, and Lillian felt her stomach get left behind as the lift plumeted downwards.

Annamaria arrived at the lifts finally, arching a brow and sighing a bit as she saw the line of others waiting as well. She waited somewhat patiently, blowing a puff of air up to brush a wayward bit of her bangs out of her eye. Just then, the small crowd of people lurched forward as an empty lift opened, and she moved quickly with them, securing a spot in the lift. She felt her stomach flip over as the lift shifted downwards, and then she was on her way to Level One, her excitement and slight nervousness increasing with each floor they passed.

After finishing his pumpkin juice... dan headed for the lift and decided to go and snoop round the ministry... but before the lift had closed its doors he jump out and decide not to go...

After reading the memo Egypt left on the bulletin board Dan headed towards the lifts. He was very excited for he loves partying. He was a bit party-animal. He waved his wand over himself and "poof" his robe was changed into a sapphire-blue one. He then headed towards level 10.

Tristan stopped right across the lifts. He looked at them and took a deep breath. The lifts would soon take him up to his new work place, he was a bit nervous and absentmindedly straighten his indigo tie.

For a moment, he got lost in the immense place while getting here, but seeing the throng of people heading a certain way, he decided to go with the flow to see where it lead him. Sure enough, it was the right way.

He ran a hand across his face. He was suddenly surprised at how smooth it was, before remembering he had to shave his usual stubble. He was hopefully looking presentable. Taking another deep breath, he took out his pocketwatch, plenty of time...

Soon the lift arrived and he took long steady steps inside as flying memos joined him aswell. Looking up, Tristan smiled crookedly and pressed the button for level 3.
"Here we go..." he mumbled as the lift began to ascend

Liam got onto the lift and smiled, it had been a good day so far, He had managed to speak to some of his employees and he had also managed to make a friend who was called Frida. He waited for her to get on to the lift. He hoped that she had been able to keep up with him.

"Of course not." Lied Liam as he pressed the button so that the lift would move. He was careful to press floor seven since that was the floor he wanted to be on.

Arcius spotted a lift and made his way in, a few others joining him. He reached forward and pressed the button for Level 9. The rest of them could go to their departments after. All that was on his mind at the moment was reaching his new department.

Julia was standing at the other end of the corridor, the lift would be there at the floor at anytime. She stuck out her wand and with a pop she disapparated and landed at the foot of the lift. She stepped inside the lift along with other people. She greeted the people she knew and moved inside, knowing that her other department members would reduce her trouble by pressing 'Level 9' button. She stood silently, until she found who was standing next to her. It was Daniel Smith, her boss, famously called DH by the staff and an efficient leader. She turned around and said, "Hello sir, Good Morning."

Scarlet walked into the lifts,she couldn't at the moment remeber what floor she wanted to go to but she'd soon remeber.She stood quietly as she hadn't yet met anyone,so she was a bit shy.She gulped and waited for someone else that wanted to go to her floor number to ask.

Brian hurried into the lift as he flipped though some parchements in his hand. By the lack of concentration he bumped into someone who was already inside the lift. "Ah!" he rubbed his forehead and looked up at the person who was in the receiving end. "I'm sorry. I should have paid more attention.." he apologized at the young lady.
