Lorraine felt inwardly proud that she had done something right. Despite Theo's pitiful attempts at ignoring his wife, she wasn't going to back down and let him get away with this any longer. Not even bothering to look behind her, she hurried toward the lifts, but Theo had been quick.

Thank goodness there were more than one lift. Pressing the button, she waited for the grilles to open, before pressing Level 7. He was not getting away that easily. She held the lift open for Alina, and possibly the other guy.
