Emily walked down the Level Four, corridor a rather blank look on her face as she glanced at the many Offices where things were obviously happening. Things in her division were at a stand still, and for that she hated it. No, hate was a strong word she didn't like it al all. She wanted to get out there and do something, anything. Perhaps she should leave the office for awhile and do some shopping? Yes, shopping fixed everything. And beside Joshua needed new clothes, the child was growing way too quickly for her tastes.
When the lift arrived she walked in, ducking as a few memos whizzed past her head. She turned to face the doors as they closed behind her, obviously not waiting for anyone else, as if there were anyone else in the corridor. She hit the correct button she needed and waited, humming a short tune to herself as she felt the lift shudder and shake slightly.
She always felt queasy going through these things and never understood why the Ministry workers couldn't just apparate to their Department. All well she thought as the lift stopped and she stepped out, heading towards the Atrium.

"Any ideas on which patent this matter concerns? I'm hoping not an idea for another type of biting teapot!" Alina smiled, though it quickly disappeared when the box shook again. "It'll need cross referencing if it hasn't been done already."

Edward watches the purple memos with the gold seals fly around over head. Some things never change. The lift is slow. It seems to need to stop on every floor. Finally the lift anounces the second level Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Edward gets off and looks around. | |

Lance was wondering how long this was going to take for him to get a lift. Today seems to be the day were most of them were already taken and were very slow to arrived. Turning as he heard the woman spoke, he chuckles. She didn't seems to be patient but it was normal since this was looking like she was waiting for quite a while.
Gesturing her to wait for a second, he summoned some wet napkins just to be sure that his hands were clean. He didn't want to shake her hand with sugar all over his fingers. "Well hello there. I'm Lance. Very nice to meet you." As he said that, he extended his arm in order to shake her hand.
