Egypt had been following the conversation and allowing Reagan and Samantha to hammer out the details of what Sam was going to be doing with in the campaign. The movement in her belly was causing great discomfort and she tried not to let it show on her face.

She took a few quick breathes, but the pain wasn't easing up. She stood up to follow Reagan out of the office, but as she stood up she felt like her stomach was being torn into two. "OWWWW!" She scream clutching at her belly and trying to stop herself from falling. She felt her water break and her legs and shoes were soaked. "Oh my God!" She said looking up at Samantha. "Oh my god Samantha, please help me get out of here?!" She pleaded. It wasn't safe for her to apparate while she was pregnant. Sometimes the babies wanted to go somewhere else from her and she couldn't risk getting splintered. She was starting to get woozy. "I don't feel..." She started to say before she blacked out and hit int he floor.

"Oh no!", Samantha exclaimed. This was horrible, one of the worst things that could possibly happen! She knew that Ben was there, and that Reagan was coming back to finalize details. Rebecca had been there visiting, as well, but all of that was going to have to wait. She gritted her teeth, she was going to have to make certain that Egypt was taken care of above everything else. Opening the door she explained, "Ben, Rebecca, we have an emergency. Egypt is about to give birth! If one of you can get a healer here for me right now, otherwise, I'm going to go ahead and try to take care of her in the meantime. I don't think we have much time left and I can't move her, and to try and apparate her out of here is just too dangerous at this point. Her husband needs to be told, as well. Nathan, that's her husband. Unless one of you would care to assist me with the birth!"

Samantha then rushed back and began to care for Egypt. "Someone will be here soon, I hope, in the meantime you are going to be fine. I know a little about what needs to be done, and I'm here to take care of you." Samantha made sure that Egypt was carefully laid on the carpet, then retrieved some pillows, propping one under her head and the others under her body to make her as comfortable as possible. We also fetched a blanket, and began to assemble a few things which would be needed in case worse came to worse and help didn't come in time. "Now, I need you to relax, and I will help you when the time is ready."

Samantha took several deep breaths. She could do this!

She slowly opened her eyes and tried to figure out where she was, but the pain ripping through her body screamed for all of her attention. "OWW!" She screamed reaching out to grip something. She her head lolled as she tried to stay awake. "Can you get me to St. Mungos?" She asked not really sure who was still in the room.

Rebecca looked up with fear written in her eyes, this was her worst nightmare

Rebecca stood there her mouth opening and closing, no words came out 'Pull yourself together!' she scalded herself, moving over to Samantha, Rebecca knelt down next to her "What do you need? Apart from a healer"

Rebecca's instinctive move was to grab her hand, moving around to her head she took a look at the woman, seemingly called Egypt, sitting with one leg crossed and one leg stuck out, Rebecca placed Egypt's head in her lap, at least that would make it easier, hopefully, she kept hold of her hand and started to speak to her "It's ok, deep breaths" she said soothingly "You'll be fine" she hoped this was true.

Samantha said, "Ideally, she should be in St. Mungo's, but it's very risky to get her there in her condition, unless we can somehow apparate her there safely together. I don't want to risk anything happening to her twin babies, there can be no chance of her splinching, and that's why I'm kind of disinclined to want to do that right now. I think the best and safest thing we can do is to hope that Ben, Reagan, or somehow can get a healer up here right away, meanwhile we try and deliver the babies ourselves. It isn't as scary as it seems, she is actually going to be doing most of the work," Samantha laughed. "I really wish there were some other way, but I don't think there is, she could be delivering any moment now and I don't want to risk it. If you can help me with these cloths when the time is right, that would be enough. And you are doing a great job calming her down. I really need you to keep doing that while I take care of whatever needs to be taken care of in the meantime."

Samantha walked over to Egypt and said, "Help is on the way. Meanwhile, you are in good hands, everything will be fine. Would you like some help with the pain for right now, or are you okay with it the way it is?" She was trying to figure out exactly how much time they might have left before the babies were actually born. "I think I should use a very light spell to ease her pain," she said. "All it's going to do is make it easier for her. She shouldn't have to suffer any more than she is right now, and it will make the process much easier." Samantha was grateful she had a little knowledge about this.

Rebecca nodded to show she understood "Ok, thanks" she looked down at Egypt "I think a spell may help" Rebecca knew how to deliver a child from her first aid sessions, but keeping that piece of information to herself she kept trying to calm Egypt down, Samantha seemed to know what she was doing "It's ok, deep breaths" Rebecca said soothingly.

As soon as Ben finished knocking on the door and entered her office, he heard a great deal of commotion. It took him a minute to piece everything together, but once he realized that Egypt had gone into labor, he began to panic. He had hardly been able to deal with the birth of his own children, let alone a fellow employee's. "Oh good Merlin! Alright, erm...keep calm! Everyone keep calm!" he exclaimed. Truth be told, he was probably the only person freaking out right now, but he was too frazzled to notice. Ben + Women in labor = Panic.

"There's something about counting minutes too between those contraction things, so you should be doing that too!" he added. "And BREATHE! Hee hee hooooo, hee hee hoooooo," he told her, trying to remember everything he had learned in those classes he had taken with Emily. His memory was a bit foggy, however, since his wife hadn't had another baby in...17 years.

Ben hadn't caught whether or not a Healer was on the way, but he figured he could go grab another person more experienced with child birth than he was. "I'll go get more help!" he informed everyone, turning frantically and heading out the door when WHAM! He forgot to duck, due to his massive amount of height, and bumped his head right on the door frame. Next, all he saw where stars in front of his eyes and the room began to spin. Grabbing onto the handle for support, he composed himself and rubbed his head. "Good Merlin that HURT!" he muttered, before he remembered there was a woman in massive amounts of pain behind him as well. Right, help! That was what he needed to find!

Samantha heard Ben saying that he would go and get help, and just as she was saying, "Thank y--", she heard the unmistakable sound of Ben hitting himself. "Are you all right?", she asked, very concerned. It seemed as though her office were suddenly turning into a hospital ward. "Perhaps you should rest for a few moments, then, make sure that you're all right. Rebecca can always go and find someone if you're not able, or you can both stay here with me and help Egypt."

By this time, Samantha was able to determine that Egypt should be delivering in about an hour or two, give or take, judging by the timing of her contractions. That gave her a little bit of time, but not much. Babies had been known to arrive earlier than even healers predicted them, and Samantha was no healer by any means. "These children want to be born," she whispered softly. By this time, Samantha was perfectly calm and able to deal with the problem at hand.

She smiled as someone cradles her head. That was so sweet it brought tears to her eyes. "Thank you," she whispered as another bloody contraction gripped her body. She nodded her head as the woman told her she would be fine.

"Yes, if you can do something for the pain," She grimaced. It was hurting, but she was done screaming. There was no point in drawing other people away from their work. The ministry still had to keep going. She looked at Samantha, even though she had had 5 children before this time was different and she was really scared. "I trust you," She told Samantha as the tears rolled down her face. "If anything happens. Save my babies." She told her seriously. She would die if anything happened to the twins.

She wanted to giggle at Ben. Men always remembered the breathing. She looked up in surprise when he whacked himself in the head. "Oh Ben honey are you alright?" She asked concerned. he was panicking more than they were, well she was panicked but she was trying to keep calm as to not aggravate her condition. She really wanted to gt to St. Mungos, but she scared to move. And she was in no condition to floo by herself, and side along flooing never worked.

She didn't want to be in labor right now. She was only 6 months. It was too early for her to be going into labor.

Rebecca looked up at the man called Ben with a small smile, as he hit his head, Rebecca gasped, she watched him fearfully as he looked like he was going to stagger out.

Rebecca nodded "I can stay to help, it would almost be stupid to move her now" Rebecca reasoned

Rebecca smiled comfortingly "Nothing will happen, except that you will have these babies, they will be healthy and you will look after them" Rebecca told Egypt, Rebecca would make sure that everything went smoothly, she wasn't in Magical Law Enforcement because she knew nothing...

"Don't even say such a thing," Samantha scolded softly, giving Egypt's hand a squeeze. "Egypt, you and the babies are both going to be just fine. I'm nor going to allow anything to happen to any of the three of you!" And Samantha meant every word of that as she performed a calming spell on Egypt, something that would relieve the pain, as well. "I know your babies are a bit premature, but that doesn't mean that everything isn't going to be okay. Sometimes they just want to come early, that's all. We are trying to get your husband, Nathan, here soon, too, so he can be here for the birth of the children."

Samantha called out towards Ben again, who appeared to be headed out the door, probably anxious to escape this scene. "If you can find Egypt's husband, Nathan Greenwood, that would be a priority as well," she said. "Thank you so much, and I'm terribly sorry about this!" Samantha knew this was a very difficult situation, especially for men. Sometimes there was just nothing that could be done about it. Things happened.

Samantha was grateful that Becky was there. Things were going much easier with her, she was a great help. Everything really would be fine!

Rebecca nodded "I agree" Rebecca smiled "Wait... Greenwood? Isn't he in the Daily Prophet?" she asked "He said he was leaving Law Enforcement" she recalled.

"Yes, that's him," Samantha nodded. "He was with Magical Law Enforcement, but I believe he is now with the Daily Prophet. That's right, you and he worked in the same department if not in the same division." She smiled.

Rebecca smiled "He was in my department, but not my divisions." she told Samantha with a small grin before turning to Egypt "Oh!" Rebecca had an idea "I'll send him a memo!" Rebecca grinned "What do you want me to say?" she asked while pulling out her wand.

She nodded as she tried to keep from drifting off to sleep. "You are very sweet," Egypt said softly. "I'm afraid I don't know who are you." She was truly sorry about that. It was shame that she didn't know that many people int he Ministry. She squeezed her hand and smiled.

She instantly felt better after Samantha's spell. "You are good at that." She offered. Tears came to her eyes at Samantha's words. "Ok I trust you. thank you." She told her. It was touching to see that she cared to much for her and her babies. She honestly didn't want to have her babies here. It wasn't Samantha and that MLES witches responsibility to deliver her babies. It was unfair to put them through this. "I can get to a muggle hospital." She told them. She didn't have to go to St. Mungos. After all JoJo and Dillon were born in a muggle hospital.

"No, no, I want you to rest," Samantha told Egypt. "I don't want you to try and move anywhere right now." In fact, Samantha thought the best thing that Egypt could do was to just stay here and have the twins in her office, as strange as it sounded. There was a real risk some harm to come to either mother, babies or both if she tried to move right now. Becky was here helping her, and together they would get through it. "Just breathe slowly and evenly," Samantha said. "I'm here to help you when you are ready." Samantha had a feeling that Ben wasn't going to be back with anyone in time for the delivery of the twins, so she had steeled herself to be able to perform the job in the best manner possible. Thank Merlin she knew what to do, and she trusted Becky, as well. She actually seemed very good at this. "I am going to try to keep the pain under control for you, but you are going to be able to respond to everything that goes on. You need to be able to do that, of course, but let me know if the pain becomes really hard for you," Samantha told Egypt.

"Oh no Samantha, I can't ask you to do this." She told her. It was awful to ask someone to do that for you. She took a few deep breathes to keep herself from panicking like she wanted to do. She was scared and she wanted Nathan, but he would be no help in this situation as he was likely to flip out and then pass out. "Are you sure you can handle this." she asked taking a few more breaths. "If someone can get me to the telephone box I can take a taxi to a muggle hospital." She told her honestly. Egypt didn't mind getting herself to a taxi.

Rebecca smiled at her "It's alright, my name is Becky" she smiled, then upon hearing about the muggle hospital, she glanced at Samantha.

Rebecca smiled at Samantha, she knew what to say, she made Rebecca feel relaxed, she didn't even know how Egypt would feel.

Rebecca nodded "We'll be fine" she told her "You're not going to a muggle hospital, no way" Rebecca shook her head stubbornly "Samantha and I can handle this, I promise" Rebecca smiled.

"Yes, Becky is absolutely right," Samantha assured Egypt. "A muggle hospital is no place for you right now, we can handle this just fine. Don't even worry about it. Sometimes things happen this way."

Liam knocked on the door. He wanted to talk to Samantha about the Election and what was going on with it. He then heard something going on inside and wondered what had happened. He wondered if he should go in and see if they needed any help or if he should just leave and come back later. He decided to wait and see if Samantha would ask him for some help.

Rebecca smiled at Samantha, she felt calm around her...

Hearing a knock, Rebecca turned to the door and laughed a little, didn't people know someone was in labour here? Well, no, they wouldn't, they weren't in the room...

Oh no, Samantha remembered that she invited Liam to stop by and now here he was, waiting to visit with her to discuss Reagan's campaign! "Liam!", she called out. "I would love to talk with you a bit, but this is unfortunately a really bad time. There is a Depatment Head here who is about to give birth, and if you could find someone who might possibly be able to help us, that would be wonderful. What we need especially is someone with some knowledge of healing, or at least of delivering children. She's very far along and we can't risk moving her out of the office into St. Mungo's or any other hospital. Do you think you can help us?" Samantha was doubtful that anyone would be able to make it back on time and was fully prepared to deal with that, just in case.

Rebecca laughed at the calm tone of voice and the way she said it so casually, as if this happened everyday "Ok, she isn't moving" Rebecca stated "We have to work with what we have" Rebecca looked around and grabbed a cushion and slid it under Egypt's head, smiling at her, Rebecca waved her wand and a massive pile of towels appeared next to her, waving her wand again, the towels appeared under Egypt and made a sort of bed for her "Ok, comfortable?" she asked her, while listening for an answer, Rebecca made a small cot appear "For later on" she told Samantha.

Liam smiled as he heard Samantha voice. "I know a bit about it." He said back to Samantha. "Or do you want me to go and get a female helper for you?" He wondered who she wanted him to get. He thought that a bit more information would help him find someone who was qualified to help Samantha. "So will I do or do you want a female helper?" He waited for Samantha to tell him who she wanted.

Rebecca looked up "We have 2 females here, I'm unsure about what Egypt wants though" she smiled at him, she'd met him at the chaotic conference, she wasn't sure if he remembered her though "Egypt?" she addressed her, wondering whether Egypt would consent to let him in.
